Frosty Leo in Okuden Net.

Frio's snowball entrance was as grand as usual. The navi hit the ground hard, but as cats normally do, he landed on his feet. This area was a lot different then the one they had ventured yesterday. Frio was confident that today would go his way, just as the previous had. "Gimme your best shot virus baddies!" He let out a not so intimidating roar that was sure to lure some enemies in his direction.

((Requesting battle 1))
*Squish.*

Frio stepped into a muddy part of Okuden Net. Patches of grass were scattered throughout. It was possible that this area just had a rainstorm. Right in front of Frio was a knight with a wooden sword. It looked like it was slashing the air in a series of moves, looking like it was training. When it saw the navi, it turned to face him. It raised its sword in front of its face in a fencing salute, before pointing it towards Frio threateningly.

A little further away, a flying head with a green aura around it, was flying around above the ground. It was not in high-altitude but it was far enough from the ground that reaching it with ground-based attacks may prove futile. It noticed the navi's roar and turned to accept the challenge. So too did a bouncing ear of corn, that shot of pieces of itself like miniature bombs.

Finally, further afield, a trio of trees sat. Floating above the trees sat a yellow worm, with a green cap, sitting in a brown pinecone, which was attached to the sky itself by a strand of green coming from the green cap. It looked quite out of place. It peered down at Frio below with a look of smugness.

-- Battle 1 Ready? Start!! --
The muddy/grassy terrain could really effect the outcome of this battle, but as was becoming a staple for his battles, Frio planned to change that right up. With a beep, his Navi customizer activated one of its programs. Centered on the frosty lion, the battle field changed from a jungle like scene, into more of a winter wonderland. Ice stretched out and covered as much as the program would reach.

This new battlefield was sure to give him a slight edge over his foes. What better time to try out one of his new tricks then now? Frio flexed while a very thin layer of ice magically started to shell over his body. The ice wasn't that strong, but it could protect him from at least one attack. "This is neat... it's like.. I'm a turtle." The navigator chuckled at his newly acquired ability.

The first enemy that would be targeted by Frio, was the sword wielder that was the closest to him. Even more ice started to shape itself into a spike on top of his right hand. "I don't have a sword to play with you, but this should do right!?" The frost lion jabbed out with his IciclePunch attack.

Wether that destroyed the Swordy-W or not, it was time to get out of town. Frio had never faced any opponents likel this before, so their attack patterns were of the unknown. Hoping the he had taken enough measures to defend himself, Frio did an evasive roll to the right, in an attempt to not get hit by own coming attacks.

The frosty fighter turned the field to his advantage, turning the muddy soil beneath his feet into a sheet of sheer ice. The viruses were still not to be deterred, however, as one of the viruses took the initiative. The green knightly Swordy vanished from its original position, appearing directly in front of Frio to swing its sword. However, it only managed to meet Frio's readied fist, causing its body to lock up immediately following its warp, though his attack was not completely enough to delete it.

Its comrades were not to be left behind, either, as Frio prepared to meet their attacks, with the BombCorn following up the charge by firing a few explosive kernels of corn his way. The incendiary grain erupted against his defenses harmlessly. The little pinecone-encased Bagworm dropped in from above the trees, heralding a sudden column of sharp tree-trunk spikes that rapidly made their way towards him. Fortunately, with his evasive maneuvers, he was able to move out of the way. Unfortunately, he moved directly into the path of the Megalian virus's headstrong attack, whose head flew out from its radiant green aura's protection to smash straight into his side with a headbutt. His defense did not fare very well against it, being shattered immediately and giving his arm quite a terrible blow. (Break! -35)

"Hey Frio lets try this new chip out. PileDriver1! Battlechip, download!" Layla slotted in the chip, while it materialized on the battlefield in the form of a large jackhammer. Frio gripped it with both hands, and held it horizontally facing the aura virus.

"You want to break my shield.... so now I break yours!" Frio yelled, attempting to run the spiked in of the hammer through the Megalian, hoping to land both attacks, if not just the first one. the ice obviously didn't effect it since it was able to float. His best bet was to destroy it now with what might just be their most powerful chip. Once the jackhammer finished its attack it dispersed in a harmless explosion of trash data.

"We need to take this opportunity to and get rid of the Swordy! Shockwave, battlechip! Download." With much enthusiasm Layla slotted in their second chip. This time the weapon took form in the shape of a Metool's pickax. Which Frio grabbed, and held it above his head. The navigator did a quick spin step to the left. This step carried two functions, one being the hopeful dodge from a head shot, rising tree spike, or explosive popcorn attacks. The other was to better angle himself before slamming the pickax down right in front of the frozen Swordy. The position Frio had taken up was focused on getting the shockwave to cut through not only the frozen sword virus, but also the BombCorn that was a little further away.

Opting to test out her new battlechip, Layla provided Frio with the PileDriver, materializing a jackhammer to attack the flying Megalian with. Unfortunately, the Megalian had already retreated into its protective aura, and swerved out of the way of Frio's jackhammer just in time as it hovered about him, trying to find another vantage point. The next attack had him hold the Metool's pickaxe and attack the two other ground-bound viruses. His aim was true this time around, landing the shockwave on both of the viruses and deleting the frozen Swordy. The BombCorn suffered some damage, and retaliated with more explosive corn kernels, which were rather ineffective, with its aim marred by the ice. The Bagworm in the back retreated back up among the trees, trying to see if it could get a better vantage point with the Megalian.

Having whiffed with the jackhammer, yet hitting two targets with the shockwave left Frio with a satisfied taste in his mough. Deleting one virus put him in the mood for more. The frozen field continued to aid him while he decided on the next plan of action.

"I really should have bought that cactus chip,'instead of this Barrier Halve of our folder is defense or support." Layla complained as she searched through her chips. "Use this Cannon to dispose of the BombCorn." The chip was inserted, and the data was sent.

The big blaster formed just in front of the navigator. Frio gripped the Cannon with both hands, and closed one eye. Taking a deep breath he fired a powerful blast that would push whatever it connected with back some ways. In this case, it was aimed at the BombCorn, and if it connected it was time to say bye bye

About this time, each enemy was probably raring to strike again. He knew that trees could come from below, and the strong defense breaking head attack could be sent from anywhere. If the corn came flying his way, Frio might not be lucky enough to have it miss again. Whenever an attack came his way, he planned to dodge it by jumping forward out of harms way.

Unperturbed by his earlier failure to hit anything with the jackhammer earlier, Frio brought out a Cannon to bear against the BombCorn virus, finally taking out the corny foe. The Bagworm from earlier then suddenly dropped down behind him, releasing its wooden spires in a line towards him. The Megalian was also coming in hot with its headbutt attack once more. Fortunately, he was ready for it, and avoided both attacks quite gracefully across the ice.

"Not this time!" Frio celebrated as he succeeded in dodging the attacks. As soon as the head would return to its aura, Frio launched out with his IcicleFist attack for the second time this battle. He hoped to return the favor from earlier.

"RageClaw1 battlechip, download!" Layla continued to support her Navi from the real world. So far his judgment was well placed. Three metal claws appeared and attached themselves to Frio's three center natural claws. With no hesitation he twisted himself around, and delivered a hard right handed slash with intention on causing pain to the virus.

He probably had time to strike again, but not wanting to become to impatient, he repeated the same strategy as last time. In this moment all he had to worry about was the wood tower, or flying head. Once the attack came, he would slide to the left as far away as a sudden slide would carry him.

1. [Icicle punch] - [Melee type] 60 aqua damage + Ice + Break [2 TCD] Accuracy: B. At Megalian-W
2. RageClaw1: Damage: 40 + Slashing (Attack), Accuracy: B at Bagworm
3. Dodge
Not wasting any time with retaliation, Frio struck out at the exposed Megalian, which had left its protective aura to attack. His frosty fist bypassed the protection and crunched the Megalian's nose, but it was not enough to do significant amounts of damage to it. The Bagworm to his side fared little better, as it was raked across its pinecone body with his RageClaw, causing it to retreat up into the skies once more. Both viruses seemed more aware of his strength now, biding their time before their next attack.

After the shield is up, they resume their normal activities at the point where they left off. Bagworms are known to carry fragments of recovery chip data, which they use on themselves when their health drops below 50%.

The bagworm retreated out of Frio's range for the moment. The Megalian finally sustained some damage, even if Frio's goal was to destroy its aura. Any damage was better then none. "Well it looks like it's just me and you for the time being."

Frio decided that he'd bring the fight to the pesky floating head. Closing the very short distance between them, he released one left handed RageClaw slash in an attempt to get rid of the viruses leafy aura. Hopefully it did, but even if that slash didn't connect Frio would slash again, this time with more attempt to cause further injury to his little friend.

The Megalian being the tough little virus it was, was sure to still be standing. Frio needed to keep that in mind, along with any sudden movements the elevated tree summoning virus would make. Another timely dodge would be performed that would possibly continue Frio's lack of receiving damage.

Frio and the Megalian locked sights as they prepared to cross their fists... or forehead, as it were, owing to the lack of limbs on the Megalian's part. His left-handed swing grazed part of the Megalian's aura and cancelled it out, just in time for its face to swerve past his shoulder and barely passing by. Unfortunately, his second strike was less successful, and only managed to hit empty air as the Megalian's head continued forward, leaving its now unprotected neckpiece behind. The Bagworm dropped in exactly where it was before, and released its attack once more, only to have it dodged swiftly by a prepared Frio. Slowly but surely, his foes were whittled down, but he would have to pick his next move well.

No complaints from the lion due to him atleast conquering the aura issue. The viruses were both free game now. Since the attack worked so well last time, he figured why not try it again. Another quick twist of the body, Frio let loose a spinning slash with his right handed claw weapon, aimed right at the now lowered Bagworm.

Perhaps riding on the feeling of success, Frio threw any thoughts of defense in the trash can. "Let's bring this to an end!" Hoping to have finished off the wood slinging enemy, the Megalian was next on his list. Frio turned back around and attacked the viruses headless body.

He had to act quickly now however, because the head was sure to be on its way back. Frio prepared to meet the returning head with a rising slash from his opposite hand. This string of attacks had potential to finish the battle, and hopefully it did since Frio completely relied on his self laid ice field to give him lucky protection.

Going all out on the viruses, Frio's attacks struck true on all counts, causing both of the flying foes to end up crashing down onto the ice, and ending the battle just as his RageClaw's integrity gave out. The viruses all disintegrated into junk data -- it seems like there wasn't much to be had for a haul for this bout, as difficult as it turned out.

Frio collected his winnings and prepared for the next hit of action that would come his way. The battles were sure to get tougher, but quitters never prosper.

((Requesting battle 2))
As Frio finished collecting his winnings and looked up, an iron ball came rolling at high speed towards him. When it hit the ice though, it skidded away and missed the navi. When it finally came off the ice and splashed into the mud, it uncurled to show that it was a strange armadillo-like virus.

Running onto the battlefield, a teddy bear and a flying fish sped into combat. Seeing things it could throw, the teddy bear ran towards the trees. Soon they would become projectiles for its use. The flying fish made a beeline for Frio.

Sprouting from one of the patches of grass, a mushroom virus popped into being. Another patch of grass sprouted an ear of bomb-spitting corn. Also a ghost virus with a long tongue also popped out of one of the trees.

Frio found himself face to face with six new enemies. Some were very familiar to him. A few however, were not. The Fishy came charging at him fast leaving Frio with not much time to avoid it, but he side stepped to the left in hopes of letting the fishy fly right by him. Not letting that distract him from the others he carefully, yet quickly made his way to the Armadil behind him.

While her navi closed the distance between him and the enemy Layla was giving the PileDriver chip a second chance. "Work better for is this time please." She begged aloud, though of course no one would answer. The weapon once again materialized in Frio's hands. Having no idea what the virus could do didn't matter because he didn't have any plans to find out. He plunged the end of the jackhammer forward at the armadillo like enemy, and let the chip work its magic.

Frio skated over to the Armadill, as it moved to position itself for its next attack, and struck it with a PileDriver1 battlechip. The Armadill cried out in pain and was tossed back by the impact of the strike. Unfortunately, it didn't roll at him right away. It looked like it was one of those viruses that needed to spend a little time getting aligned with its target, before it actually attacked the target.

It was at that point that the Fishy virus made its attack run on the maneuverable Frio. And Frio feinted out of the way as it careened by, unaffected by the ice below. The Teddy picked up one of the trees and threw it at the navi. But it missed and splintered into kindling on the ice. It then looked towards the next tree to throw.

The Mushy virus teleported from its grassy home to appear to the side of Frio. It tried to shake a cloud of poison all around it, but missed Frio. It then returned to its grassy patch. The Spooky virus appeared in the Mushy's place, next to Frio, and lashed at the navi with its tongue. It also failed to hit.

And then, finally, the last virus acted. The BombCorn tossed bombs of corn at Frio. However, it didn't fare any better and missed as well.

Frio had a successful start to the battle, as far as attacks missing went. Made him think his next combo would be just a little more offensively focused. "I'm sending you the shotgun chip, you know what to do." Layla grabbed the next weapon from her folder, and slotted it in for her Navi to make use.

The fast little ghost was still close to him upon missing it's close range attack. Frio raised an open palm to face the Spooky when all of a sudden the shotgun blast fired off towards the not so friendly neighborhood ghost. Hopefully the blast would be enough to cause damage to something else, but it was hard to judge.

Another onslaught of attacks were probably coming his way, so the frosty navigator needed to stay quick on his toes. With a smooth and hopefully efficient flip dodge towards the Armadil, Frio attempted to finish it off with his signature attack. A spicky shell of ice covered his right fist just before it was lunged towards the viruses body. If connected, the navi and operator duo could say adios to the armadillo enemy.

Taking advantage of the Spooky's close distance with him, Frio held out a hand before blasting the ghostly virus with a dose of buckshot, deleting it instantly before it could react. The other viruses prepared themselves for another attack, with the Armadill finally being able to line itself up properly with Frio and launching itself at him. Unfortunately for it, the icy warrior easily swooped to the side and smashed its curled up form with a well-placed punch, shattering it to pieces. The Teddy found itself another tree to uproot and tossed it at Frio with a savage roar, only to miss yet again; its aim wasn't quite true today.

Unfortunately, the rest of the viruses weren't as unlucky, and the Fishy tagged him across the arm (-15) just before the Mushy warped into his face once more and unleashed a cloud of spores, (-15, Confusion!) before hopping back to its safe haven of grassy paneling. While the spores clogged up his eyes and messed with his sense of balance, the BombCorn was able to get a solid lock onto his figure and popped out a hail of explosive corn kernels in his direction. (-10) Things weren't looking up for him now...
