Now...let us see...a "Shrimpy" Virus...hmmm...one-hundred hit-points. Aqua elemental, perfect prey for me. Have my "bounty", the "lark", another one-hundred Hit-Point entity, has a much wider spread attack than the Shrimpy...and then these insects would be those "Skeeter" viruses. Fashioned after Mosquitoes, they drain their target's vitality into themselves...but are quite weak individually at a mere thirty hit-points to delete...quite the motley crew that showed up. Still, should be quite easy to delete. Fenixia would mutter to herself, looking up the basic data on each virus that showed up, her data appearing on Penny's PET screen. The new netbattler quickly picking up her PET as the data flooded the screen, a small screen to the corner, the netop nearly having a panic attack from the navi's sudden appearance on the Yoka networks.
F-Fenixia! What are you doing out there in Yoka!? Get back here before they delete you! Penny stammered, but Fenixia simply stood there with her arms crossed behind her back, a toothy grin on her face, a predator onlooking it's prey. Penny, would you please be a dear and send the AquaUpper data to me? I am far hardier than I look, I can certainly take a few hits from these foes. Not to mention I have the upper hand on them anyways. But I do need your help. Besides...I want to see if I can find your navi's data around here. I'm sure something survived. There have always been reports of "Navi Ghosts" on the net so to speak. Perhaps we'll find any sort of trace of him. The navi explained, quickly getting into a low stance, hands on the ground as she spread her legs, getting into a combative stance. The netop in a tizzy after what Fenixia had said, grabbed the pack that had her chips in it, a simple plastic baggie since...she didn't get everything she needed from Jack, but regardless it was good enough for the chips they had for the time being.
Slotting in the chip before speaking again, she slotted in a second chip for Fenixia to make use of as well on top of that. Fenixia...why would you believe in something...so stupid? There's many theories out there, Penny. Fenixia cut in, quickly summoning the data in the AquaUpper she had obtained. Her hands to the ground, she began to channel the data through the ground below her, a quiet rumble going through the sand as she sent the data's processes out. Waves beginning to swell and kick up as they began to lap towards the two viruses. Swells swirling up underneath in the water based panels that had flanked the fennec navi, waves slowly but surely growing in intensity as the rumbles grew and grew before a loud crack in the two pools of water. Before long hands began to claw at the viruses that floated above the waves of either side of Fenixia before grasping at them, rising up above the two viruses and with a splash, attempted to grab and pull the viruses below the waves, and attempted to rip the data away from them before finally going back to normal.
Inhaling deeply, the fox based navi would begin to wade out towards the sea on her left, the navi's suit mostly keeping the water out and not touching her fur, despite her feet becoming soaked from the simple act of wading outwards towards. Eugh. Always hated getting wet... she murmured as she turned around towards the mosquito viruses that had pretty much flanked the animal navi. Anyways, as I was saying, there are many theories on why and how Navi Ghosts exist. Some paranormal, some scientific. The navi continued as she began to summon a large tank cannon in her hands. The navi hefting it upwards with two handles on either side of it, with a button towards the top as she took aim at the viruses. I personally believe in the latter myself. Some theorize that navis leave behind residual data that contains their memories, personalities, the list goes on. Some are less harmful to the net, though most wind up turning into combat hungry specters that haunt the networks they were deleted in, or, failing that, the general area's networks that they were deleted in. Though these navis are generally considered powerful in their own rights despite their deaths. She rambled on as she used her tail to grasp at a leaver towards the back of the rail cannon that she had created, the barrel spreading outwards and widely spreading to it's "Wide Range" mode. With a pull of the leaver of the rail-tank cannon she created, a blast of energy discharged outwards with a bright flash, an explosion of energy hurtling towards the two Skeeters that she had hoped to delete in a single blast. And with it, their data lingers on. It is said they drop chips based on the navi that was deleted, but that has since been discredited due to the lack of evidence and lack of "navi ghosts" that have been seen on the net. With any luck, your old navi had will and strength to survive his deletion and, with it, we may find him again. So you may get in one last goodbye.
