With the transformation of the battlefield into an appropriately fiery setting, Sparks and SenseiMan were placed on opposite sides of a square stage, set in the middle of a field of molten rock. The wooden shinai erupted into flame as the armored Navi widened his stance, eyeing up his similarly armored student. Silence reigned for a moment, waiting for the first move of the battle to break it and set the stage for an explosive battle.

Sparks' body began to glimmer with a bright light almost blinding the teacher like navi. The light quickly faded away revealing a slightly altered Samurai... or what would now be considered more like a Knight in shining armor as he activated his Drago cross. The cross system gave him a little boost in vitality as well as making him feel a little lighter on his feet. DragoSparks unsheathed his newly equipped knight sword and shoved it into the stage below him. The white light from earlier returned, only this time when it left, it left him feeling even more refreshed, and surrounded by a medium sized barrier.
"Hmmmm, a cross? That is impressive." SenseiMan gave out props in the heat of the battle, while using whatever attack he chose to throw at his student.
After taking the time to change, and powerup, Sparks attempted to avoid the attacks that SenseiMan would be throwing at him, by rolling forward, closer to the center of the makeshift arena. "Here, this will provide you with even more protection, and hopefully give us a little bit of firepower as well. SideBubble1 battlechip, slot in!" The chip data was accessible by DragoSpark's immiedatly after it was sent. Outside of the Navi's barrier, if it was still there, two plump bubble's began floating slowly towards SenseiMan.

DragoSparks was keeping very steady on his toes, ready to jump to the left or right in hopes of avoiding the next attack. "Here's one more, go show him up close what your blade can do! "You choose to lock swords with me?" SenseiMan laughed a little as the younger navi got closer with the intent to lock swords.
Once he was in range, DragoSparks sent his clone in first in an attempt to fake out the Kendo warrior. Hoping to create an opening, the knight like Navi followed up with a falling vertical slash dropping right towards the navi's mask.

While Sparks transformed himself into the image of his knightly comrade, SenseiMan brandished his flaming kendo in a light thrust forward, which erupted into a fireball that shot off towards Sparks. Luckily, it was dodged by his quick forward roll, after which Sparks retaliated with a couple of slow-moving bubbles. Due to their slow movements, SenseiMan was able to steer clear of them easily, dashing off to the side in a quick leap before delivering a quick upwards slash! Fortunately, Sparks kept himself mobile, and was able to avoid said attack, multiplying his image.
Undeterred by the prospect of having to take on two of his pupils at once, SenseiMan's shinai erupted into a brighter fire--suggesting that it was a lot more powerful now. Both of the warriors swung their weapons at each other, but they were still much too nimble for each other. Both wooden and metal sword struck at nothing but warm air as the two Navis faced off against each other, evenly matched in their agility and skill for the moment.

"A quick standoff to start. I can almost taste your improvement Sparks. Will it be enough to overcome my strength though." SenseiMan prepared for another string of battle.

The two samurai rushed the elder Navi, running in an opposite back and forth pattern aiming to confuse their opponent. Sparks decided to take the lead this time, hoping SenseiMan would be expecting the duplicate first. The electric samurai attacked with two fast slashes, one horizontal from left to right, the blade came cutting through the air ready to deal a significant amount of damage to it's target. He combo'd into the second slash by doing a jumping three hundred and sixty degree slash, his body twisting theatrically in the air.
Sparks would land gently on his two feet unless he was interrupted by a return attack from his sword fighting adversary. His combo continued into a fluid triple dodge, as he anticipated SenseiMan's further counter attack. His steps were so fluid, that his body seemed to leave a short after image as he moved in even closer to the kendo warrior. If the clone hadn't been destroyed all ready, it would again rush SenseiMan continuing to add difficulty to his attack choices. It couldn't be no easy task since, he would still have to worry about the floating anchor bubbles that continued to make their way slowly towards him.
"BubbleStar1, battlechip, download!" Joseph felt that his Navi could have created an opening with that combo, so he sent his navi another battlechip.

With the standoff between the two Navis heating up, Sparks raced forward with his clone, striking twice with his sword this time around. However, SenseiMan's deft movements not only avoided the attacks of his real strikes, but also his clones. The old swordmaster quickly counterattacked with a quick stab of his shinai, but Sparks's movements were equally as swift. SenseiMan then led the charge with a series of light, yet relentless swipes at Sparks, aiming to break through his glowing barrier defense. The flaming shinai crackled with electrical current once, and cut through the air with a swishing sound the next. The fast-paced attacks, however, while they were thrown out with alarming speed, were still front-and-center, and Sparks was able to deftly avoid all of them with ease.
Suddenly, just as SenseiMan was executing a wide swipe, a second blade came forth from an entirely different direction, and managed to scrape against his barrier. Next to SenseiMan, a Swordy had stuck out its purple sword towards him, joining the fight with its own blade. Unfortunately, just as the Swordy was summoned, Sparks retaliated with a wide encasing bubble attack, enveloping both of the combatants at once.

A smile crossed Sparks' expression after he finally managed to create an opening. Having trapped both the Sensei and his pet Swordy, DragoSparks rushed in with his metal blade held high, quality joe he was face to face with the trapped Navi his sword became engulfed in an electrical current just before he swung it towards the bubble. If the slash connected, the bubble would pop, but SenseiMan was sure to receive a powerful shock leaving him stunned even longer.
The electricity diminished from the sword, but that didn't stop DeagoSparks from slicing and dicing anymore. He had a good three slashes from his sword remaining before it's durability would peak and break. So he targeted the Sensei again this time lunging the sword toward trying to penetrate the armor that was covering his abdomen. The sword strikes were fluid as usual adding a little pep to his step making it easier to hopefully dodge a return attack form SenseiMan.
It was time to target the trapped Swordy. Before DragoSparks made an attempt at it, he once again summoned his clone and sent it away hoping to attract the attention of his primary enemy, while he targeted the small sword wielding virus. The knight like samurai chose to attack with a falling slash starting high above his head, and landing low to the ground. If the slash connected, SenseiMan could say good by to his newly summomened friend
After another timely dodge flipping backwards DragoSparks would again turn his attention towards SenseiMan. With one more elegant slash from the Sword Battlechip, his blade would crack and deteriorate while it whizzed through the air, being swung towards the enemies neck. After the slash was finished the blade completely shattered into a heap of junk data that gently fell to the ground around the two net warriors. Post attacking he would keep a steady gaze, preparing to avoid the next attack at a moments notice.

Sparks had his Sensei trapped and moved in to capitalise. The Swordy raged against its prison, stabbing against the bubble without effect while SenseiMan simply waited, ready. The crackling strike struck true, and it was definitely a telling blow but even as the bubble broke, SenseiMan was moving, and a return strike swiped out, forcing Sparks to dodge back before he could continue his assault.
Lingering electricity was still crackling on the master's form from the strong strike, but he slipped aside Sparks' second strike and retook his stance, looking between the two swordsmen and his clone, gauging which was which. Sparks wasn't giving the old man a rest and continued to press his assault, slicing the Swordy out of the fight and returning his attention to his main opponent, but once again he was too quick, slipping past the blade and returning a quick, whipping strike that stripped Sparks of his first line of defence.
The motion was fast enough that it was hard to follow, but Sparks was still every bit as nimble as his mentor; as SenseiMan brought his strike around into a broad, burning sweep that saw his kendo stick blazing fiercely, Sparks managed to jump back just in time to avoid the burn, though the broad stroke eliminated his decoy in the same strike, removing the confusion.
Unfortunately for Sparks, There was one more trick in the series of motions. As his feet touched the ground from his quick dodge, close to the edge of the central stage, the earth suddenly cracked and erupted in a blasting column of flame that engulfed his form for a painful few seconds. When the flames cleared, the remaining columns marching off into the lava, Sparks could see that his own efforts were taking their toll as well. Small twitches and crackles were plaguing his opponent, possibly slowing him down for a little while.

The battle came to a sudden halt as Sparks realized that the electricity from his Zap Slash seemed to bring SenseiMan to a stop. There was a small grimace of pain across his face, but it wasn't anywhere near what he had felt in his encounters with the CyBeast before. This was Sparks' key opening, to bring the sparring netbattle to an end.
"This is it father.." Joseph spoke with massive confidence, slotting in one more powerful chip, "BigHammer1, download." The words flowed off his tongue crisp, yet casually as he had the utmost trust in his Navi to close out his father's training.
Small fragments of data could be seen spiraling around Sparks' right hand, quickly taking the shape of a large purple Gaia hammer, with a big head. The stunned kendo Navi would have to be extremely lucky in order to survive the imminent attack from the massive weapon. Sparks readied the attack by lifting his new toy high above his head. Now face to face with his master, "It was fun holding this contest with you. I look forward to hearing about your war with the Cybeast after you EJO." With as much force as DragoSpark's could muster, he slammed the BigHammer downwards with every intention of crushing SenseiMan and forcing Joseph Sr to jack him out.
If the attack were too miss for whatever reason, DragoSparks' body would glow with a bright white light. He would choose to follow up the slam by reactivating his barrier defense, giving him another little boost of vitality as well. Now with a little boost of energy and his defense back up, the knight-samurai would wait for the dust to clear before deciding on his next move.

With a brief, momentary lull in the other navi's focus, Sparks seized the opportunity to score a second, decisive hit. SenseiMan wasn't able to respond in time to avoid the crushing force of the hammer, and a moment later Sparks was left as the last navi standing from this duel.
