Save The Hospital Final <EVENT>

"Oh.............YOUR SO ON!" The white haired navi of penultimate Justice bequeathed. He yelled at his student: " Leena! Quick give me a Shuriken and a Gun! Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight?" he says while comically givng a thumbs up to the sky and a shining smile that would make female dentists fall in love with the quirky one.
...
The Black-haired student complys as he slots in the requisite chips that was stated by the handsome Medical Practitional of the East. "I wished we didn't have to do this in such a facility, it goes against conduct." He thought while he slotted the chips.
...
"Look out ElecTrisha! Its time to show who will win this battle! The handsome and devonair doctor or the electric biggolo of sparkyness!" He said as he whipped out a surgical laser with twin barrels from his back. "Hyehahahahahah!" He laughed as he Shot the laser bullets to the mob members, who is already scheduled to be ingulfed by an attack by the blonde-haired Thunderlass. He does a little dance as he finishes this. "AHA! I'm brimming like a new spring lotus" he says as he did another thumbs up smile pose.

"And now for a secret technique. . . . " He said quite loudly, disrupting all chance for a secret technique to be actually secrative. His hands brim with electrical energy as he forms a single Shuriken. He thrusts it like a frisbee, cutting the air and hoping that it reaches one of the bubbled Mafia minions of the groutesque fatman. He then poses readily like a Martial Artis, in preparation for the retaliation that is sure to come.

Splitman's eyes flickered red for a moment. He had to keep himself in check, though, this was not the time for... that. He gripped the energy bomb already in hand and crushed it into energy, condensing it then reforming it above his hand. It looks like the presents weren't going to be his problem. Bomb data? Good thing he didn't blow it up...

He hurled the explosive orb at the nearest gangster. God knows that the prick probobly deserved to be teared apart at the joints and have his limbs scattered across the ground. The orb traveled with potentially deadly accuracy. It was like deadly accuracy, but far less certain.

"CHAD, GUN, NOW" He shouted out-loud. The only way his bloody operator would pay attention. Hell, he could just tell that fool was bumbling for chips. Probobly doing some incompotent number of...

Splitman's arm turned into a cannon. "I suppose that will do" he shouted outloud like some sort of astranged battle-cry, firing the weapon into the explosion. May his foes ashes be scattered and never return to ground.

"So let me get this straight" Splitman shouted "We're are apparently here to kill you? I wasn't aware of that, however... if you really insist... Not really original plan though"

Meanwhile Chad searched fantically through the chips. Guard? Where was the guard? Guard1? Was it always called Guard1? Screw it, it would work anyway. Probobly.

A shield formed in front of splitman. At least it would help cushion his blows. Probobly.

Once again, Teethman felt as though he'd been left in the dust by the speed of his comrades. He saw that two of his allies had already begun to join in a challenge to see who could take out a particular Navi the fastest. "So, Hal," Teethman began, "Perhaps these are the wierdest clinic laborers I possess even viewed, or subject concerning this procedure is salmon-esque..."

Hal couldn't tell what to think. His gut instinct told him to leave the package behind, that these mobsters were telling the truth and whatever was in his package wasn't going to be healing anybody anytime soon. His humanitarian half, however, was forcing him to deliver it anyway. If there were indeed suffering Navis in that building, how would it reflect on him to be tricked by a bunch of crooks into not delivering what he was assigned? He had to make a commitment: he was going to get the package into the building no matter what.
His allies seemed to have gone full-on into battle, save the initial attacker who had seemed to keep himself reserved despite his less-than-friendly appearance. Hal searched for a spot that did not seem to have been addressed. "Say, hold on a second," Hal muttered. "The energy drain on this area is already immense, as soon as the battle broke out. Any idea what is causing it?"

Teethman watched as the thunder-god Navi drew the force of the Net around himself and reconfigured it into his various weapons. "Er... I presume it may be this electricity Guide. You recall, the slappy-go-ducky individual?"

"Hm... well, he hasn't drained enough yet that he's causing any problems the Net won't repair itself. For now, let's concentrate on taking out these shady-looking characters. I've located a spot to your right where no fire seems to have concentrated. I'll send you weapons to bear down on them with."

"However Hal..." Teethman pointed out, "these Guides are holding a competition toward view whom permitted obliterate the opponent premier. Necessary never we...?"

"No, Teeth, we have to show seniority here," Hal responded, seeming out-of-character. "We have a job to do here, and it won't do for us to get caught up in the games of children. Taking down gangsters is a serious business, and these guys aren't playing around." Hal made himself out to be older than he was, and reflecting on it he couldn't believe he was trying to play the seniority card at this age. Nonetheless, with such goofy Navis as the two he was watching, he had to assume he was the oldest among the three. Still, he found himself looking in the reflection of the polished breakfast table to remind himself he was under the age of 20. "So, let's try and take out the farther right flank, okay? Sending a Heatshot..." Hal finished, slotting the chip in with a sigh.

Teethman allowed his arm to form into its cannon shape, blocks shifting to allow the extension of a cannon barrel from the midst of the second. Meanwhile, a tube connected the weapon to his jetpack to borrow the fuel and create flames. He pointed the already reddening metal at one of the MafiaNavis, steam beginning to discharge as heat built up. Finally, a fireball went blazing for connection, and he began allowing the weapon to disconnect. As the blocks spun midair, the tube and barrel withdrawing to make the bits uniform, energy began pulsating from them. "Now... ray, go!" Teethman shouted, causing all of the bits to release their energy in a thin beam toward a focal point. Connecting, their strength combined and magnified as the laser shot forward to hit a Navi behind his initial target.

With his attacks launched, Teethman prepared his jet fire and bent his knees, aiming to dodge an incoming attack. This may be difficult as his arms rejointed into their initial position with jarring snaps, but that was why he had prepared beforehand.

Phoenix normally wouldn't have thought twice about the other Navis attacking, but one of them caught his eye. It was a Navi, mainly dark blue, but with large, white ... were those teeth everywhere?

Upon closer inspection, Phoenix deducted that the blocks were teeth, and one name sprung to mind upon the sound of the word: Teethman. The first Navi ever to catch a glimpse of the Zetsumei Angel. How much did he know about it? Was he attacked by it? What had happened during the time he'd seen the Angel, even if its power was at least 50 times weaker than it had been when he massacred Chris' Navi army?

Phoenix made a mental note to ask him after the fight, then returned his head to the battle. There were a total of 13 Navis; he'd seen far worse, but that was when he was still at full power in the Nation Z army. Well, he and the rest of the Navis made 7; outnumbered two to one. Phoenix figured he may as well do away with his two, then go after the big boss.

"Silas, Sword!" Phoenix called to his Operator.

"Sent. Take out two of 'em, more if you can, then go after that Don Datarelleicho character. You're outnumbered two to one!" Silas called.

Phoenix smiled. It was amazing sometimes how similarly Silas' and his mind worked. He reminded himself that there was no time for sentiments, so he got to the battle.

He picked his target, then activated his signature move; the Golden Wing. He flew high, shining like a beacon against the dingy, dark walls of the ramshackle buildings and gloomy grey sky. Curling up into a ball, his features became more and more blurred until he was nothing but a fireball, hovering a good 20 or so feet above the other Navis. The egg grew larger, and muffled bird cries could be heard from within.

Suddenly, the egg burst in a smokey explosion. From the dark cloud, seven identical birds of flame spiraled out, flying in perfect unison. The seven phoenixes went into a perfect arrowhead formation, with three making the triangle at the front, with four trailing off. They flew majestically, wings beating as one, flying as one, seeing as one, hearing as one, thinking as one. That was because they were one; they were Phoenix.

The two firebirds at the end of the arrow's tail broke off, braking and diving. The rest continued on, now five in numbers. The two regenades dived at a neglected Mafia Navi, shrieking in their bird tongue as they went. Mouths open, they went in for a decent meal, or at least a snack, tearing at the Navi with cruel, hooking beaks and strong talons. Satisfied with their efforts, they spiraled upwards and exploded, making the air thick with red and gold ashes.

The other five had found their target at the same time, and went in for their meal. With their beaks at the ready, the five phoenixes repeated the process, but with five. They were the hunters, and the Mafia Navis were their prey. After a minute of so of ripping at the Navi, they too exploded, further weighting the air with ashes.

The ashes drifted innocently to a spot, where they began to condense on one spot. The ashes formed a large red and gold ball, then began to shift. It was as if there was an invisible chisel, hacking details into a large chunk of rock. After another minute or so had passed, the ashes stopped moving, presenting what appeared to be a sculpture of the original Phoenix. A few moments passed, and out of the blue, the ashes burst into flame. Phoenix was back.

Grinning to the Mafia, Phoenix held out an arm, and a soft blue glow formed around it. He dived from his spot, headed towards the Navi that two of his feathery comrades had gone after. The winds assisted him as he tore the air in his way apart reaching the Navi. Claws at the ready, he thrusted his arm right at the Mafia Navi's lapel.

Phoenix saw no way out of the crowd he'd gotten himself into, so he went the only unblocked route; straight up. He shot up like a champagne cork, then turned off his flames and flew around. His destination was unimportant, but he was feeling pretty uneasy about a couple of the Navis there; especially the ones with guns. A couple shots and his wings would be clipped.

The warrior navi was still trembling from the after-effects of her operators mind numbing metaphor, when the thugs swarmed out of the building... well, there were only 12 of them (not counting the fat guy, who didn't really look too threatening), but they were so professional that they still looked like they were swarming like agent Smith bugs. They didn't really seem like a welcoming group... or rather they did seem like one, only different from what she had expected.
-...Told ya.
- Shuddup.
As if things weren't bad enough, she'll be hearing that fool babbling about how he foresaw this, for at least a week. Bloody great. Amusingly enough, the microphones didn't seem to transmit any signal from the guy on the other side. Are they broken? Valkyrie knew that that would be too easy...

-... I'm waiting...
The others were already engaged in combat, firing attacks of all shapes, sizes, and colors. It was quite confusing, to say the least. The chaos of battle was calling out for her... small things like her operators' ego are mere annoyance. Let it be his way if thats what he wants. What really matters is that there is a fight going on right here, right now, and that brat is stalling her.
- Fine. You were right. If you are satisfied, you might as well send me those chips!
- Good girl. Now take your sword, and make me proud!

She didn't pay attention. Or even if she did, he didn't shows any signs of it. Well, she did let out a loud cry, that could possibly be a sign of her anger, but that was a natural course of action for her while charging at an overwhelming group of enemies. She had access to her favorite chips, rageclaw and sword, and didn't hesitate to use them. She could swear that her hands were more comfortable when morphed into giant, barbed claws, and an energy blade, that gave of a humming sound whenever she swung it, along with a cold blue light, that reflected off from her armor. She'd enjoy to use her lance for once, but she decided to keep that for the big fat ugly guy that likes to say big words.

She intentionally chose two of the thugs that weren't occupied by anyone yet. Nothing ruined her mood more than someone interfering with her prey. The thugs were also charging at them, so she didn't have to take more than a few steps. Pretty comfy. If only all of those idiots that want to end their lives by her were as well behaved as these. There is a long way before she can call herself a personification of death on the battlefield, and the fact that she has to run after the subjects of said death, makes it all the much more tiring.

Should she get this two done fast enough, she might have time to increase her body-count by a very fat one. However, two of those idiotic navis were already splitting him up amongst themselves, so she had to hurry up and finish this as soon as possible. No time to play, even though, she usually enjoyed playing with her play for a little while. She lunged forward with her claw, but instead of slashing and tearing away the skin of the thug, she clenched it into a fist, aiming to send him flying into the other villain. She then chose to use her other weapon, the sword, to do two quick slashes at her targets, before they can retaliate. The attacks were really nothing special; there are times for heroic moments, but scum like this does not deserve that.

DNR's shotgun misses, but his Zapring hits, deleting A.

Splitman's Energybomb lands in front of it's target, who jumps away before he's caught in the resulting explosion. His Cannon hits.

Teethman's Heatshot hits it's target, but fails to hit anything else. His Sparkling Whites hits it's target as well.

Phoenix's tiny phoenixes of death hurt the MafiaNavis, and he connects with the sword strike.

Valkyrie's attacks mostly connect with their targets, though Mafianavi J dodges her second sword strike.

"Ergh!" Don Datarelleicho cries out with a strained groan. "Attack, youse mooks! Don'ts just stands there! Use those chips I gave yas!"

The remaining Mafianavis nod and begin to mumble amongst themselves, their makeshift weapons being swapped out for things with a bit more... firepower.

Mafianavi C swings out with it's sword, and connects with Raiden's leg in a powerful, sweeping strike. (80)

- Hey! Stand still so I can finish this quick!

The sword barely missed its target, but its not like that made it any better than missing by, say, half a mile. And now the thug also got a cannon from somewhere. Well, if he wants to die with a pitiful weapon like that in his hands...

- It won't hurt... much.

She slashed at the thug once again, then moved on without conforming the hit. She was certain that the thug wouldn't dare to survive again. Looking around for a target, she found most of the thugs injured, however... one of them didn't even get scratched yet. Furthermore, he was holding a sword in his hands, and he even managed to hit one of her noisy, weakling allies. This did wake feelings of sympathy in her. Too bad they weren't on the same side. Oh well. She should at least save him from the humiliation of getting killed by one of those jokers. By taking his life herself.

- Prepare yourself!

Valkyrie was very simpleminded when it came to fighting. Its not that she was dumb, or she didn't know strategy. She had very certain ideas who, when and why she should attack. She just simply didn't put much thought into how. Why would you change something that works? Besides, things usually worked themselves out.
White flames burst out of the engines on her back as she charged at the thug. Upon arriving in melee range, she struck forward, with the blue blade, aiming for the heart. She has to make this quick. After all, there are still many of them left waiting for salvation. And she was big on being salvationist.

Everything had been going so well. Raiden had done his part in launching the opening salvo with his new friends by his sides, and that doctor Navi DNR had taken up his challenge. He had just been standing back to watch the rising fires of his beloved Flameline die down when one of the bad guys that he hadn't been attending to had burst through the softly falling ashes and swept his Sword into Raiden's leg.

The surprise attack drove him to his knees, and he couldn't bite back a yelp of distress in time to silence it. A blast of self-preservation pain data shot through his mangled leg. The Navi quickly took his weight off that knee; in the resulting lack of balance, he pitched over forward. His hands shot out and planted themselves on the ground to prevent him from causing any more damage to himself by falling on his face. His features went blank and his eyes widened. The half-shocked grin on his face disappeared into the ether.

He pushed himself up into a kneel again, his eyes even larger than usual. The sword had skittered out of his grasp when it had fallen and lay a foot away. Raiden reached out and closed his hand around its hilt without taking his wide, almost horrified eyes off the MafiaNavis that had survived the initial onslaught.

"Raiden? What the hell is wrong with you? Come on, pay attention?"

He didn't so much as twitch in response to Anti's snarl. Raiden turned his blade in his hand and jammed it downward into the chink between one panel and the next. The tile popped up easily, and the air suddenly began to howl. Still on his knees, Raiden peeled back the dislodged floor segment, revealing the screeching vacuum that led down into the black eternity of the Net abyss. The wind pulled insistently at his hair and his clothes, but he simply watched blankly as bandwidth was converted to light before him. Streams of flashing stars were sucked from the very air around the MafiaNavis, meshed together into one rope of shining energy, and were slurped down into the abyss through the hole.

Raiden let the floor tile drop back into place. He used his sword as a crutch to help him to his feet before tugging it free of the panel crack.

Thunder1—100%. LOADED.

Spinning his weapon like a sawblade of bright steel, Raiden began a slow walk toward the enemy Navi that had been caught up in one of his bubbles. Halfway there, he reached down into his systems deck and executed the Thunder that waited on his Battlechip platform. The sharp edge of his sword erupted in a bolt of lightning that coiled around the steel like an electrical worm. Raiden's eyes were still frozen wide when he dropped the hammer and elevated from a walk to a dead run in the space of one step.

The sword swung back as far as Raiden's arm would physically allow and then crackled forward. He stuck one foot out to bring himself to a sliding stop, with his blade leading the surge forward. Still, there was nothing even remotely like expression anywhere to be found on his face. All emotion seemed to have deserted him. Raiden drew his sword back again, took a pace backwards, and ran for his life.

"SON OF A-!!" Phoenix yelled as he spiralled out of control, his right wing having been blasted by the thug Navi. He spun straight down, colliding with the ground in a satisfying 'thud.'

It turned out that the paneled ground itself was so flimsy that Phoenix, being the flaming meteorite that he was, punched right through it. "So, this is what its like under the floor: just endless space" Phoenix thought, drifting through the infinite blackness. Somehow, even though there was only a thin layer between him and the Navis, all sound was cut off. The only thing he could see was himself; a reassurance that he wasn't just blind. Looking up, he found that he'd gotten blasted so far that he couldn't see where he'd gone through. Sighing, he flew upwards.

After a couple minutes or so of flying straight up, he bumped his head on something. Frowning, he felt around with his hands, and yelled, "DAMN IT!" though as nobody could hear him. It appeared that the panel had somehow resealed itself. He resigned himself to searching for another opening, even if it meant travelling between areas under here.

Phoenix zoomed this way and that, flying upside-down, looking for anything he could use as an opening; even the tiniest crack would do. After ten minutes of fruitless searching, he gave up, convinced that there weren't any other ways out in the area. He hated making needless damage to the Net itself, but he had no other choice.

"DAMN IT, SILAS, GIMME A CHIP!" Phoenix yelled to his Operator.

Thinking for a bit, Silas decided on the Sword, slotting in the chip and seeing what Phoenix would do with it.

Forming a soothing blue glow over his right arm, Phoenix got started. Slashing, punching, and ripping at the near-invincible, horizontal wall in front of him. Finally, his arm got tired, and the Sword aura solidified and shattered, leaving a multitude of blue fragments suspended in zero-gravity. Running a couple recovery programs to get his arm working again, Phoenix froze as he caught the smell of rancid meat in his nose. He could detect another Navi signature, and an insanely strong, but familiar one at that. Phoenix turned, and found himself staring into the harsh grey and red eyes of <(BUZZ)>

"Well, it looks like you're in a bit of trouble, aren't you?" <(BUZZ)> said mockingly, but in harsh, echoed tones.

Phoenix's eyes blazed with a hatred previously unknown to him. "YOU!" he yelled, firing off a blazing shot of fire at <(BUZZ)>, but saw that it simply disintegrated against his cloak.

"You wouldn't want to do that," <(BUZZ)> said in a disapproving tone. "Remember, I am the only one that can get you back up to the level of the ordinary Navis."

"I DON'T CARE!!" Phoenix yelled, blinded by rage. Spreading his wings, he flew at the menace, throwing fireballs all the way.

At the same time, <(BUZZ)> spread his own wings, feathered, but pitch-black, and took off, flying backwards so he was facing Phoenix, and dodging everything Phoenix threw at him. "Do you really think anything you do will harm me?" <(BUZZ)> called, manoeuvring away from yet another of Phoenix's attacks. "Look at you; weak, useless. You're barely at the same level my body was at before I took him," he taunted, an evil sneer on his sheet-white face.

"YEAH, AND YOU SOMEHOW FORGET YOU'RE THE ONE THAT DID THIS TO ME?!?!" Phoenix bellowed, launching a fresh wave of attacks, but to no avail.

"Come now, I'm sure you're tired after all this," <(BUZZ)> said, mocking the bird Navi. Raising a finger to the ceiling, he fired a small red shot at it. However, as soon as it hit, there was a massive explosion and a good 3 by 3 hole appeared in the ceiling. "Go back, Raven."

"No, you're wrong, Phoenix said, panting. "I'm not Raven anymore, I'm PHOENIX!" he bellowed, firing a blazing fireball, only to find that he'd disappeared.

From every direction, <(BUZZ)>'s voice sounded. "I suggest you go through the hole now. Panels have an annoying habit of reappearing ever too quickly."

Phoenix sighed, knowing that he was letting a REALLY big fish get away, but he complied, shooting through the hole.

He landed on top of a broken-down building, a little ways up and away from the rest of the crowd. "How he made a hole that huge in such hard stuff, I'll never know," Phoenix muttered. He saw the state of the Navis, then the state of the opponents, and grinned. They were going to get through this.

"Silas, Gimme the Cactball," Phoenix said over the private link, doing his best to stay quiet. He had also avoided flaring up. He just hoped that he wasn't seen. He got the Cactball, and activated it immediately. A couple feathers here and there shook themselves loose and turned green, forming a spiky ball of green feathers. Eyeing a weakened MafiaNavi, he muttered a few words. The winds began to act up, blowing in such a sense that they picked up the near-weightless ball. It tumbled through the air, until Phoenix clenched his hand. Suddenly, the ball sunk like a stone, right over the Mafia Navi.

Phoenix prepared for another attack, when a sharp pain resonated from where Phoenix had gotten shot by the Cannon. Wincing silently, he withdrew to the shadows, trying to become invisible.

"What?" The Master shouted. "They're ignoring me? Not even a response, just a flat out refusal to acknowledge my presence? Fine then! We've given them a chance to give in and since they've ignored our gracious offer it turns to us now to punish them for their rudeness! CrushMan?"

The Navi made a move to seem more alert, standing a little taller, something to let the Master know he was attentive. And yet his mind was drawn from the Master's commands and more towards his target. Or rather, his former target. The enemy had been reduced to nothing. He'd hardly expected his attack to destroy the target, just to damage. Even the Master had thought that. But the interference of one of their allies had left the Navi enemy in a poor position. Had it been deleted? There were ways to save a Navi from that point, Crush knew that much. Emergency Jack-Out. Back-Up Data. There were second and third chances for every Navi. But had this one gotten one of them? Or had CrushMan just deleted his first Navi?

Truly, he found it curious. He was expecting to feel much different after such a thing, and yet all he truly felt was the same pull always given off by the sound of the Master's voice, that need to obey, and perhaps the normal rush of battle. He had destroyed a being not quite unlike himself, and yet there was nothing. CrushMan was almost dissapointed by the lack of feeling and emotion. But there were other things to attend to.

"CrushMan? We're going to hold off, if just for a little while. I would like to observe our allies for a moment, as well as our opponents. We will strike out when the oppurtunity presents itself. As of so far, we've managed to remain fairly obscured and in the background, our actions being of little consequence. But that's simply boring. We'll change that, and soon. But for now, we watch."

The Navi understood what the Master really meant, that the Master would be searching for something and that Crush would simply be asked to obey. And yet there was the natural pull to obey the Master's commands. He scanned the battlefield quickly, briefly noting the enemies and his allies. In particular his attention was drawn to the leader of the enemy forces, the one who identified himself as Don Datarelleicho. There were many oppurtunities to explore here. The concepts of leadership were not unknown to Crush, despite his lack of experience with Humans and Navis alike. Would the enemy forces fall apart with the fall of their own master? He had heard of it happening before and he could find few faults with the idea. Were his own Master to stop giving him orders or to even simply cease to exist, he too might very well cease to fight this battle because he himself lacked reason to fight. But perhaps these enemies had some reason to fight.

Then again, the idea was rather preposterous. The Master was there and would be for some time. But it was still a wonderful feeling remembering that one time. There was another flaw with attacking the enemy leader. He had yet to act in the battle itself, save supply the enemy forces with weapons, and if he were to be attacked he would undoubtably defend himself. To attack him now would be to add another dangerous element to the battle. The question then was, why hadn't he joined the battle so far? Perhaps he was more similar to the Master than originally though, perhaps he was doing this as a test for his followerss? Or perhaps it was something else?

"Wait..." CrushMan looked up, as if expecting to see the Master's visage, yet all he heard was his voice. "That doesn't make any sense. Crush, you remember what the Don just told his men? And their reaction?"

He briefly replayed the earlier scene in his head.

"Ergh! Attack, youse mooks! Don'ts just stands there! Use those chips I gave yas!"

The remaining Mafianavis nodded and begin to mumble amongst themselves...

Yes, the Navi thought, there might indeed be some kind of discrepency.

"Only a few of his men drew out weapons, and yet it appeared that all of the Navis acknowledged the Don. But why would they all acknowledge him? Hah!" The Master shouted, triumphantly. "I see! Perhaps this first wave is nothing more than a distraction while the second group prepares to attack with their weapons? That sounds reasonable. Yes, we wouldn't want something like that to happen, not at all. What's the old saying, 'What is worse, the enemy you know or the enemy you do not?' Let's simply eliminate the second part of the equation. Enough standing in the background, my little friend. It's time to attack!"

"Two of the unarmed Navis remain unengaged. Let's change that!" Foreign data surged into his body, overwriting the cannon mounted on his arm and the targetting system. Every spine on his back, neck and shoulders tingled as he felt a new control over his body. Familar, very familiar. Noting one of the the two mentioned foes, CrushMan went to one knee and then commanded the spikes on his back to fire. Three surged straight up into the air, firing off in a sharp burst, then arced over and hurtled down towards the enemy. Blue mist flowed from the back of the three implements as they flew down to impale CrushMan's foe.

He was up on his feet once again as the second wave of data came in. A long tube formed in the air, then fastened itself around the Navi's arm. Crush aimed the shotgun quickly before firing it, shooting a long burning spike towards the intended foe.

This time he knew. This time he knew that he may very well destroy Navis, this time all of his own choosing. And yet there was no reluctance. Another mental command sent an extra burst of speed into his flying missiles and Crush stepped back to admire his handiwork as the Master whispered something. "And perhaps after these, we head on to our good friend the Don."

The don merely watches.

Mafianavi L fires it's cannon at Crushman... and misses!

Mafianavi G fires it's Vulcan at Teethman. It misses. D':

Mafianavi C moves away from the group, taunting Valkyrie with a cry of 'Comes and gets me, youse girl!'
"That's it... there's that same area of huge net-energy drain going on. It's exactly the same as last time..." Hal noted. "That means he must be here, only using a .GMO, but which one could he be? I guess he's probably one of the Navis in that area, but he could either be the strange ornamentally-outfitted Navi or the even stranger one protecting him. Since I can't tell for sure..." the operator mused, keeping his thoughts out of his Navi's earshot, "... I suppose I'll have to watch and wait until the culprit reveals himself more obviously. But, I missed a lot of action in that last maneuver. It's been all we can do to keep ourselves dodging in this firefight. Teeth!" he called, finally voicing his thoughts, "you holding up all right out there?"

"Decent..." Teethman commented, pausing for breath. "It possess existed needing various decorative stepping toward circumvent those assaults. May I recieve a novel tray of snacks?"

"Yeah, sure... let's see what I can scrounge up. I think that the last attack aimed at you was vulcan fire, but you seem to have escaped it. A gun like that only takes so long to cool down, though, and there's no reason to think the goon that was firing it has laid off now. We'll take him on, since nobody seems to have addressed him yet. I'm going to send you a couple of chips: use these, then try to defend yourself. Keep on going, Teethman. Those injured Navis are counting on you!" Hal cheered, ignoring the fact that that assumption hadn't actually been put to any kind of test yet.

"Leave us deliver it toward him presently," Teethman said, turning his attention to the vulcan-bearing Navi that had already peppered his location with shots. "I shall present you a smidgeon flamemass myself!" As the Navi finished his declaration, he kneeled down slightly. The pack on his back transformed itself into a makeshift missile silo with an additional tube to the two that would normally produce jet flames. The ends opened up to reveal a row of three sharp and glistening projectiles. With a bubbling spray suddenly shooting forth three times in succession, the needles shot out of his back. Being propelled by a constant stream of pressure that sent bubbles cascading behind them, the missiles zipped to connect with their gunwielding opponent.

With this maneuver complete, Teethman switched over to his more conventional weaponry. The pack shifted back into its original shape with less fanfare than the blocks of his arms had now begun shifting with, steam and grinding noise announcing their reconfiguration as they took a stacked form with a barrel protruding from the blocky end. Aiming the primitive cannon at his previous target he attempted to level it with the enemy amongst the bubbles of his earlier attack. Taking careful aim, the top block locked back and a boom resounded from the barrel as the shot flew from its housing and, with any luck, into the shady adversary.

With his barrage finished, Teethman let his gun arm and unused left arm widen and flatten, until they had taken the large plank forms that he would use to defend himself. Depending on his trusty shield as he often had in the past, he settled in a kneeling position. He kept his focus mainly on the gang member he had just assaulted: chances were, if he was still in the battle he would be looking for revenge.

Raiden simply gave DNR a sideways look. The surprise was still crystallized on his face, and he said nothing to the ally that he had been taunting just a minute before.

"Raiden, damn it! Say something!"

Again, the Operator's shouts into her PET's microphone went totally ignored. For some reason, a large part of her Navi seemed to have just shut down...perhaps it had something to do with the damage that he had taken? Anti pulled up a quick schematic of his physical appearance and checked on the status of his leg. Well, it didn't look much like a leg anymore...in the Real World, nobody would ever be able to stand on something like that. Internet physics were probably the only thing keeping it attached.

As if to prove her right about her nearly-gone leg theory, Raiden suddenly grabbed hold of DNR and went scrambling up to stand on his shoulders. This brought him head and shoulders above the Guard that the white-haired Navi had summoned to take care of both of them. Electricity crackled violently along the length of his sword, which began to degenerate into lightning itself. Buckling his knees to preserve his balance, Raiden reeled his arm back and then hurled the magnetized blade toward the MafiaNavi with the Sword that was menacing the female of the group. He would no doubt go and retrieve his weapon at the first possible chance.

Vulcan2...100%. LOADED.

Raiden hopped down from DNR's shoulders with so much as a thank-you. He landed hard, on both his good and his largely destroyed leg, making Anti wince at the thought of doing the same herself. The hard impact sent a number of cracks through the panels underfoot and knocked a flurry of chips up into the air. They seemed to hang suspended as the immediate world around Raiden and DNR went grey, and then burst into white flame that licked at but did not consume the tile pieces. Raiden dropped to a squat to make himself a smaller target and leaned out from behind the safety of the Guard. He snapped his right-hand fingers in a signal, and the barrage of flaming shots took off at a breakneck speed toward the apparent leader of the group.

That done, Raiden dropped back behind the shadow cast by the Guard to wait and see what came of his efforts.

"Raiden...come on. Talk to me, dammit."

Still nothing.

Anti threw her chip case across the room.

((Sorry, was busy the past few days and thought nothing of it given the group's track-record))

Splitman merely watched as events unfolded around him, in a sort of hectic choas that threatened to consume him with massive energy-based attacks. He watched his allies fight and take deadly blows, he watched them become wounded before his eyes.

"I need some chips here" He shouted outloud at Chad, though god knows what he would give him. The guy didn't even seem to be paying attention half the time, useless clod... probobly bartering his chips away again.

Wait a second, they were what was standing before him and his enemies, he could have none of that!

He raised a massive orb of energy above his head, generated by some random chip that Chad had given him, it didn't really matter what it was from, it would have to do. He gathered the energy in himself and channeled it, gently into his nearest wounded ally, Raiden. He seemed in pretty bad shape anyway.

He did the same, again, and again, healing two other wounded allies. The energy of some other chip of his flowed into DNR, it seemed weaker this time, but that didn't matter. Finally he let lose a blast to Phoenix. He didn't have a chip ready, but hopefully buster would do.

He couldn't just stand-by and allow his allies to be harmed and not be supported. If he let them all die, what was to stop the enemies from attacking him next? That couldn't be good. Not good at all....

The white haired one´s mind seemed to be gleaming bliss as he looked at his "Girlfriend´s" masterpiece. He looked dazed as the blasts of pain reached for the mass of lipids and fat that was the leader of the attack.

-- Alright! The blonde patient seemed to "take care" of a few patients. Now let´s see what this doctor can prescribe to these patients . . . He thought to himself as he looked towards the explosions.

In the aftershock of the explosions, the doctor clenches his right arm into a fist as he aimed it towards the patient with the cannon. He yells "Robo Punch go! Alpha!" as the claws eject from his arms. He then quickly shifts gear to his other arm and yells:

--"Beta Fist of little old lady who ate a worm! Go dearies and make granny proud!"

The claws eject from his other arm like a nail from a nail gun as they slice through the air in hope to reach the next person. The navi, feeling as he did a job well done, looks at his companion and says. " Hey, Mary Ann! Wanna dance like your mother gave you?" With a silly smirk on his face. Un beknowest to the ruffians, he looks ready to poundce to the sky and dodge incoming fire.

She had to admit, the guy was pretty good. Valkyrie was expecting a one hit, quick victory. Then she could move on and take the head of that fat guy, saving him from the harsh, nickname filled life that awaits overweight crime organization leaders. But the thug didn't seem to give up just yet. "Life is an old habit that dies hard", eh? He even took the time to challange her. Well not really a challange, it was more of a taunt, but more than the growls and screams of those annoying virii. It was real, authentic, smack talking. Her blood boiled with excitement. At last, formidable opponent! The villain retaliated with his sword with a slash that Val could barely dodge; she could almost feel the blade cutting a deep wound into her, but thanks to her sharp battle reflexes (and probably the goddess of war watching over the last follower she has), the thug missed. Val was preparing to show what she was made of, when suddenly....

DNR attempts to kill the same Mafianavi Valkyrie tried on earlier-- but it reverses the Rageclaw's second strike, instead lashing out at DNR--

The little runt had effectively back stabbed him! Swordguy was on his toes so he parried, better yet reversed his second attack. Here, she was about to have a fair, sword versus sword duel, but that little jackass had to mess it up! She was angry. Or, to be exact, goddamn pissed. What made matters worse, she has to kill the thug anyway. They were enemies, and already engaged in a fight, there was no way to back out now. She sworn however, that once this is over, she'll pay some respect to the memory of swordsguy (and all the other navis backstabbed) by kicking that joker in the ass. Hard.

Right. Its time to finish this. Valkyrie raised her sword and prepared to deliver a deadly blow. She struck down at her foe, hoping that she can get over with this quick enough.

Buckling his knees to preserve his balance, Raiden reeled his arm back and then hurled the magnetized blade toward the MafiaNavi with the Sword that was menacing the female of the group.

The lightning edge passed right next to Valkyrie, heading for the wounded, and terribly unlucky MafiaNavi.

- Oh for crying out loud!

Have people never heard of courtesy around here? What about honor? Chivalry? Those damned little... Enough of this. If they don't respect any kind of code, then neither will she. A few minutes ago, she overheard them babbling about some bet or something about who gets the head of the Don first. She was kind enough, and thought about letting them decide the outcome of this silly race, but now, she was upset. The Don dies by her hands. And then, when nothing else stands in her way, those scoundrels (who were currently hiding behind a guard) will suffer.

She turned around to face the leader of the enemy group, and found that he had been already assaulted by one of them. She won't let them have it their way. She still had her sword, and even if that would fail, she was confident in her powers to overcome a fat bastard like this. He is probably not trained in melee combat, and even if he is, he probably couldn't move fast enough to dodge her attacks. With that in mind, Valkyrie swiftly stroke at Don Datarelleicho, but... There was a small tingling feeling at the back of her neck. Something was wrong. Why didn't the Don do anything up till now? Maybe he has some cards up his sleeve? The warrior navi cautiously stepped back, and hope she could dodge anything the large leader of the local thugs has to offer.

Last Turn, Conclusion

CrushMan watched with no small amount of satisfaction as his trio of spines crashed into his target, piercing through the Navi and stabbing into the ground. His first true kill, CrushMan made sure to watch and watch closely at the Navi's face. His view was obscured though as moments later the three spike missiles exploded in a light blue flash.

His attention turned next to the second enemy just as his shotgun bolt tore through the Navi, blasting a solid hole into it's chest before shooting through to the other side and burying itself into the nearby ground. This time his target remained in sight, and Crush watched every moment as the foe crumpled and fell to the ground. What happened to deleted Navis, he wondered. Did they dissipate, their fragmented data merging with the Net, or did something else happen?

The spent casing of his shotgun bolt made a tiny sound as it hit the ground. His attention was suddenly diverted as Crush caught movement by one of the opposing Navi. His instincts told him to move and he did, throwing himself to the side as the enemy fired on him. A black orb shot past right in front of him as he fell to the ground, his metal armor and spines scraping across the ground until he came to a halt. He was on his feet as quickly as he could in an attempt to dodge the next attack. He'd been targetted. How long did it take for a cannon chip to cooldown?

"Eyes forward CrushMan. We have a bigger target" He obeyed, but cursed himself a moment later. He was under attack, to take his eyes away from his foe was to invite terrible danger. In fact, he was quite surprised that the Master had not commanded that he act out against the opposing Navi in a show of vengeance.

And how he longed to look back at the Navi, blown apart by his shotgun, and fully observe the process of deletion. It triggered in his mind that perhaps this was a strange thought, and yet he countered it with the rationatility that he merely wished to observe what may one day happen to him. "We've shown our power now, my dear Crush. And quite frankly, I'm tired of dealing with these faceless henchmen. Why, they're practically out of some low-grade gangster movie! Hardly worth our notice at all. But the main prize is before us. He's made no move to indicate he's noticed us, but I'm sure we can change that fact."

This Turn

"Attack!" Another surge of data pulsed into him and there was no doubt what the weapon was. As if to empathize his realization of his weapon, the canister on CrushMan's arm slid back a bit before there was a dull clank. A new slug. "Stay at range. I believe one or more of our allies will attack the Don as well. To attack at close range is to risk being shot ourselves. But we do not attack yet, no."

"CrushMan, did you know there's a special program inside you? Not unique, for there are others who possess it, but a special little program that allows you to do something very interesting. It allows you to put additional destructive power into any attack. While unable to affect program stability, it does have the ability to destroy certain programs entirely, specifically defensive programming. It also appears extremely effective against objects as well. You see, my dear Crush, we're not going to give their leader even the chance to fight against our power, we're simply going to blow him away! Let our first strike do more than injure our foe, let us truly show him that our power is not something that he can ignore!"

Crush was suddenly very pleased with his exploration of his own abilities. While at first he had feared repurcussion for doing something beyond what was specified by the Master, it appeared that it was for the best now. He was certainly aware of this power, and now he'd been given a chance to use it. For some reason, tapping into that well of power had always been an exciting thing, something like the thrill of destroying a foe that had previously struck him, or simply the excitement of battle itself. As he opened into that power for the first time in battle itself Crush felt a certain lightness in his body, a readiness to do this act and to explore not only a new oppurtunity, but a new power. A power that was his, and his alone. Not the Master's.

He tapped into the power and then commanded it to act in concert with his shotgun attack. Four prongs stuck out from his upper arm and then clamped down on the shotgun canister, one attaching to each of the four primary directions. The barrel of the gun widened, doubling it's size to accomadate the charged shot it was carrying. And Crush inwardly smiled as he commanded the gun to fire. The bolt shot out from the end of the gun and sped towards the intended target, the esteemed Don Datareilleicho. The air sizzled in the wake of the attack, now twice it's normal size, and the bolt itself glowed a dark red.

"Now, this." The reverse teardrop shaped shield formed in front of him and blockd his view. How annoying! This was his moment, to have it interruipted was... Crush stopped his train of thought as his need to obey kicked in. The Master's will would be done. He reached out and grabbed the shining gray shield and held it close, lowering it just so that he could see the Don and react to his movements. "Good. Yes, I expect that after this show of power, our friend the Don will not be so quick to ignore us."
