Teleported!

In the face of team Voulge's overwhelmingly unnecessary wall of text summary barrage, the final virus got f*cking obliterated.

"Should we continue?" said Marius as he thought about all the possible danger that was ahead of Voulge. "This battle ended quickly...but you saw the amount of damage one attack did to you." Voulge dusted off few specks of sands off his shoulder and gently rubbed against his wound from the Bark. "I'll be able to move on. If the battle becomes unbearable, I'll not hesitate to retreat."

Marius could only let out a small sigh as he watched Voulge move from the sandy beach to the grassy plane, knowing how anything he would say from now wouldn't mean anything by now.

-ROGUE BATTLE FOUR, READY!-
Voulge moved on past the dunes of the beach and into the grass, but found he was moving a little faster than was comfortable. As he proceeded, he realized that the wind was picking up. A box was visible up ahead, but rather than the traditional blowing effect, it was sucking him inward and onto the grass. This might not be a scary thing if it weren't for a big clump of rooted viruses that were surrounding the area in front of the fans! Voulge was about to go flying straight into them if he didn't stop himself.

--ROGUE BATTLE 4 START--
As Voulge and Licht climbed over the grassy hills, they felt the gentle draft of salty wind against him and took the moment to enjoy the temporary peace. "I've yet to understand why viruses exist in such peaceful place like this." Marius pondered about it as well, but all he could come up with was blanks. "its how the ecosystem...The NET ecosystem works I guess. The best we can do is to delete as much of them as we can so it won't get out of hand." Voulge could only nod his head and let out a small sigh of frustration. Compare to his day in the Cremeland police force, his actions didn't carry much impact in the net and felt like he was just wasting time deleting viruses after viruses.

"...!"

While Voulge was lost in his thought, Licht felt something in the air and immediately hid behind the navi. "What's wrong with Licht? Never seen it move so quickly." Voulge was curious himself, but he realized what Licht was worried about when his body began to move along with the powerful wind. "Wind this strong is completely unnatural. Then it must be..." He looked up to find a group of VaccumFans and LowBlows sucking in and generating the gust from a good distance away. "Viruses already? Rogue Net never ceases to meet its expectation...Let's go, Voulge!"

The spearman gently padded Licht and ordered it to hide for the moment, knowing that this battle would be too dangerous for the inexperienced SP and created a sizable shield from the grass and soil beneath him. Licht didn't falter as it flew far away from the battle, leaving Voulge all alone to fight off the enemy. "We're already at a disadvantage with them capturing you with their gust...However, the distance between you and them is pretty significant." Marius was breaking down their battle strategy little by little, but Voulge didn't seem to pay too much attention to it as his eyes was constantly flickering side to side towards the virus group. "You have more than enough time to counterattack while the wind carries your forward. The virus priorities are: LowBlows, VaccumFan, and then the StarFish. Understood?" As the operator's word rung in Voulge's ear, the navi bobbed his head in acknowledge and gave one good look at the LowBlows once more.

"Your Will Be Done."

With a blinding yellow flash, Voulge's Avaria-Lancea instantly changed into a golden trident and the navi began to run along with the wind. Running ever faster than he was able to because of the wind, Voulge jumped up into the air, disappearing out of everyone's sight. He then reappeared just above the LowBlows, fiercely looking down at the virus with his trident ready at hand, but his eyes slid to the side momentarily towards one of the Starfish and launched the trident straight down. The chains attached to the end of the Lancea rattled as it fought against the wind, but Voulge placed enough power and precision behind the throw so that it wouldn't falter away from its target.

Beginning to fall down to the ground, Voulge quickly retrieved his spear by pulling the chain and immediately altered its shape into a different weapon. The Avaria-Lancea shined in a dull gray light this time, changing its shape into a gigantic, stone spear that was at least twice the original size of the weapon. Its spearhead was primitively designed and cut, but its weight and raw power it could exert was undeniable. Thanks to the weapon's new shape and weight, Voulge began to drop down on to the LowBlows like a falling meteor...but something strange occurred. The navi split into three different beings in a blink of an eye, all sided very close to one another but still split. All three stone spears was directly pointed at all three LowBlows and eventually crashed down in a disastrous tremor and a blanket of dust covered both the virus and the navi.

"Get out! Target the VaccumFans next!"

Voulge immediately acted upon Marius' and teleported the moment the dusts settled down. He then appeared just behind the VaccumFans and held his Lancea just behind his head, ready to strike. The blades combusted in an intense blue flame and Voulge swung the spear in a sideward arc, creating a trail of flame on the air that began to grow thicker into a shape of a wing. "Sever! Soar! Burn everything in you your path!" Voulge spun the Lancea just before he let out a forceful stab forward, sending the flame wing towards the VaccumFan and literally burned up all the grounds to crisps while it flew.

If everything went well, the only enemy remaining should be the StarFishes. But Voulge's gut and experience told him other wise and more viruses could've survived. "Send me one of the objects. I'll use it to defend any incoming attacks and strike back." The operator clicked his tongue and looked into his folder to pull out the Sensor chip. "Good point. This chip should be best suited for now!" As the chip was loaded into the PET, a giant eyeball materialized in front of Voulge, protecting the navi for the time being.

Shield? Check. Warping? Check. Paralyzing triple pronged spear thingy? ...Well, it wasn't a perfect shot due to the wind, but it did its job, as the Starfish was caught off guard and stunned accordingly. However, as soon as he got his lance back, he began to feel himself being pulled...pulled by more wind. The gigantic mouths had started inhaling, sucking the Navi in like some sort of fuzzy vacuum cleaner. Luckily for Voulge, this actually helped him out, allowing him to drop a large fist on the trio of viruses. On the down side, he had been pulled a bit to the right by this, causing it to only obliterate two of the LowBlows. His reward for this slight error? Three tornados to his personage. The shield was able to block two of them, but the third had nwhere to go but the Navi's body.

With that mini-mess up wrapped up, the Creamlandian Navi turned over to the VacuumFans, using chips to teleport by the giant fans and completely destroy them with a firebird. No screw ups this time, as the attack hit its mark, causing the VacuumFans to overheat and harmlessly explode. Harmlessly for the others, that was; it was rather harmful to the fan viruses themselves.

To wrap things up, a KillerEye virus suddenly appeared in front of Voulge, which starting looking forward. The intact StarFish, finding the sudden appearance of the Elec virus troubling, started shooting bubbles at it, apparently considering it a threat.

ZAP!

The good news for the StarFish was that its fears were well-founded. The bad news was that the bubbles attracted the Sensor's attention, causing it to look over and electrocute the 5-pointed virus, as well as destroy the bubbles it created. One more virus down.

Voulge hid behind the DevilEye, looking over the object to find only two viruses left from his last attack. Considering how he was able to delete most of them with only one hit landing on him, the navi couldn't help but to smile as he saw rogue net as less of a danger to him. "Everything else should be cake walk, so let's take care of your wounds after this is over." Marius slotted 5 chips into the PET in rapid succession while Voulge dug his hand deep into the grassy dirt and pulled out part of the panel for his own shield.

"The chip download is complete. Let's begin the routine!"

The navi replied with a short nod and lifted his left hand up to his eye level, "Affirmative." The gauntlet lit up momentarily in a warm orange glow and a golden scaled snake slithered out of the gauntlet. It first coiled around Voulge's arm, but as soon as the navi pointed his finger towards the Starfish, it jumped offed immediately and robustly approached the virus. A golden sphere appeared on Voulge's palm as soon as the snake got off, constantly buzzing with yellow sparks. "Priorities?" said the navi as he juggled the bomb up and down without a care. "If the Starfish was taken care of, then the only one left is the LowBlow. Throw the bomb at it, but we're taking a precautionary step after this."

Voulge tightly gripped onto the Magbomb and attempted to lob it at the virus, but Licht suddenly took the initiative and fired its glitch whirlwind at it first. The navi was surprised to see Licht being so aggressive with its attacks, but he wasted no time and immediately threw the bomb right towards the LowBlow. "Licht! Behind me!" With Voulge's word echoing across the net, Licht acknowledged his orders and broke down into tiny green flames, only to reassemble behind the navi.

"Preparing the Arrow, Voulge! Licht, prepare to pull the LowBlow straight towards Voulge!" Both Voulge and Licht moved like clockwork, immediately acting up on what they were ordered to do. The Avaria-Lancea surged with a bright golden light like before, but rather than changing into a trident, it formed into an oversized javelin with two transparent flags attached at its neck. Voulge pulled the spear back till the end was digging into the ground and hurled it right at the viruses location, causing the flags to flutter in the sky and mimic the shape of a bee's wing as it began to descend.

Licht was constantly spinning around and around with its two bodies, creating a powerful suction of wind to drag the LowBlow closer to its inevitable end. "Activating BigHammer!" Marius enthusiastically pressed a button on the PET, causing a bright silver-gray light to shine within Voulge's brigandine. The navi reached his arm into the vest and pulled out a miniature mace that was shining in the very same light and held it with both his hands, completely covering the weapon handle and the body to leave only the head exposed. However, in a blink of an eye, Voulge was instead carrying a mace at least three times its original size with its head fitted with layers of blood rusted spikes. "An unfortunate end for you, virus."

As Licht gave one more pull with its gust, Voulge positioned his mace just behind his head and placed it against his shoulder. "Batter up!" Taking a single step forward, Voulge's entire body propelled in order to swing the mace against the incoming LowBlow. The strength exerted behind the swing literally caused a shockwave that tore a handful of grass to soar up into the air.

"Proceeding to tend to my wounds..."

Voulge shortly rubbed against his wound and materialized a giant apple somewhere on the battlefield. He pulled out a small throwing knife and carelessly threw it up into the air, which magically stopped in mid air and flew straight at the apple like a laser-guided missile.

Raising a shield to protect himself, Voulge took care of the Starfish easily by ordering a SnakeEgg at it, deleting the virus before it could get a shot off. He then threw a Magbomb at the remaining LowBlow, which proceeded to breathe in and deflect the bomb away with its sucking effect. The tornado it created managed to dent Voulge's shield, but no more. Then, an Arrow-javelin rushed the LowBlow, and damaged it severely. It motioned to dodge somewhat, but was foiled when Licht pulled it towards Voulge, setting up for the mace smash. The RedFruit Voulge summoned later healed him for a bit.

"Everything is taken care of," said Voulge as he slowly walked around the ravaged battlefield. "I guess we can continue on a little more, since all your wounds are taken care of." The navi pondered while he was picking up all the datas left by the deleted virus along with Licht and finally came to a decision. "Lets stop now." Marius was confused and immediately asked, "Any good reason why? We've been busting viruses pretty easily despite you being on the Beach net."

That was the problem. Voulge felt like he was deleting viruses for no good reason except for the obvious reason to fight and become stronger. He wanted to make a difference, he wanted the power to change and protect things around him like he did in the Creamland police force. "...No, but I wish you can heed my wishes." Voulge kept his mouth shut, but Marius obviously knew that his navi was troubled. Letting out a single sigh, he jacked his navi out and grumbled to himself.

"Fine..."
