DruidMan: CleaningHelper

A gust of wind blows across the net, bringing in leaves that swirl and form... DruidMan. A shower of cinders quickly follows as Simrugh comes into being next to him.

Druidman's eyes quickly flash a silverly grey as he feels one of his new spells take hold of him. "Whoaaaa, man." he whispered to know one as he touched his skin, it felt like it always did, but at the same time, it seemed to put up more resistance than normal. "Far out."

After he was done amusing himself, he set off down whatever net he landed in.

After experiencing a boost in his abilities, DruidMan and his SP was ready to set off into the deep, dangerous Rogue Netopia Network!...Or so he thought. The field before him was riddled with cracked panels as far as the navi could see, and to make it worse, a pair of Fishys and Swordys were floating above the panels as if they were mocking DruidMan!

As they came closer to the navi, the Swordys brandished their swords and the Fishys readied themselves to tackle!

-ROGUE BATTLE ONE, START!-
Druidman eyed the Fishies slightly nervously, but otherwise felt pretty confident about his new spells.

As Steve began to slot some chips for his Navi, Druidman was already chanting. With a flash of white, "AGELESS TIME FORCE!!!" Instantly, everything around Druidman seemed to... slacken? Get tacky? Everything was so... sluggish. "Duuuuuuuuuuuude...." was all DruidMan had to comment on the subject.

Speaking of things getting tacky, as Druidman pulled out his scimitar, it already seemed to be sagging slightly. Knowing what this means, he quickly swung at his enemies, sending piles of gelatinous metal flying at them.

Swiftly rolling to the side, Druidman threw up his hands and began to channel his next chip into them, sending massive arcs of electricity outwards and inwards the innards of his foes. ((TONGUE TWISTER))

Dodging again in a zigzag fashion, Druidman launched a pair of bony spikes outwards on the fly, in the direction of whatever was left.

Sim, meanwhile, flapped around, whipping up windstorms around the viruses.

After the needless powerup sequence, DruidMan quickly proceeded to attack the viruses with attacks one after another. The thrown slimes was only able to latch onto one of the speedy Fishys, instantly deleting the virus as it caused mounted Swordy to fall on the cracked terrain...Unfortunately, the floor did not break beneath it.

Continuing on, the electric shock along with the ivory missiles was peppered onto the remaining targets, but these viruses was much more tenacious than the average viruses! Only one Swordy was deleted from the attacks, and the remaining two was quick to seek revenge for their fallen brothers.

The Fishy proceeded to dash straight towards DruidMan, but the navi was quick on his feet as he was able to dodge all of the Fishy's attempt. However, while he was distracted, the Swordy teleported right in front of DruidMan and swung its might sword! To the navi's surprise, it felt like his slash only dealt half the usual damage, flustered by whether or not it was his sword or his skill that was causing it...

"Sending you a couple more chips, Druidman." Steve announced. Then he coughed slightly. "Damn dust." he muttered.

"Think fast, man!" Druidman told the Swordy in front of him as he pulled his scimitar free and charged it with the first chip Steve had sent, taking a wild slash with it, spewing super-frigid air that froze all the moisture around it outwards towards the nearby virus.

Swiftly diving to the ground and rolling to get away from possible counterattack, DruidMan reached into his belt pouch and pulled free a small magnet shaped device. Without thinking, he launched it towards the remaining Fishy, it already beginning to spark and hum with magnetic energy. He had no idea how it worked.

Jumping backwards again, Druidman slammed his scimitar into the earth, and focused fire magic through the blade, funneling it down underground, until it could hold it no longer and exploded outwards in a line, creating a wall of flames.

As an afterthought, Druidman briefly recharged himself with a simple healing spell.

Sim began to sing a song.

Sim ate some of the remaining data happily, then glowed a orangish gold for a moment, her power increased.

"Cool, man." Druidman said with a low whistle. "Come on, Sim."

And with that, he continued walking down the net, Sim flapping serenely behind him.

((Battle 2))
((Resolute Steel Force active: Passive Hardbody))
A little further into the Rogue Netopia network, DruidMan and Sim went onwards, searching for some viruses to kick their behinds sufficiently into deletion. They found an interesting sight in their travels: a couple of Satellite viruses were positioned above two Dharmas, with a BigHat on one of the Satellites. The BigHat threw one of its bombs towards a line of dummies propped up off to the side, and the Karma threw some of their pucks into the air. However, in an impressive display, the Satellites immediately shot them down before they reached the dummies.

'Course, the display wasn't staying around for long, as the Satellites found DruidMan standing around, and swiveled around towards them, the other viruses following suit!

BigHats only attack a second time if the FlashBomb they threw on that turn is somehow destroyed before the end of the turn, and they have an action remaining for the turn. FlashBombs thrown by BigHats do not harm viruses at all when they explode. The effect of FlashBomb cannot be dodged, but it can be blocked by defenses you can take cover behind, such as objects and Guards. Chip generated barriers and auras also prevent the effect, but signature generated defenses of these types will not. -- ROGUE BATTLE 02, READY? START!! --
DruidMan was floating on an endless ocean.

Nothingness stretched around the horizon, and the calm water was motionless around him. Not even a faint breeze would provide a whisper of sound.

"Dude." croaked DruidMan, his voice cracking from eternal disuse. "This kind of sucks, man."

Steve, meanwhile, was still cleaning up his place. Opening a closet door, a cascade of junk and knick-knacks tumbled all over the room, making all previous progress moot. "Well, shit." was Steve's dumbfounded response.

But the tumbling junk sent things in motion for DruidMan. He, too, was tumbling.

Tumbling downwards, below the bottom of the ocean, but also upwards, above the highest reaches of the sky, but he was moving closer, of that, he was certain.

After what felt like many years bouncing through everything and nothing at the same time, DruidMan could see something. Below the outer shell of the world, he could see the layer below the surface, and on that layer, there was a Navi. That Navi was DruidMan. "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOA!!!!!!" he screamed as he fell back into himself, and suddenly, his perspective changed!

"I'm back, dude!" he commented happily, as he patted himself down to make sure it was real. "Oh! And I'm fighting these dudes!" It was as if no time had passed at all.

Steve unburied himself from the tangle of clutter and panted, "Sorry, DruidMan, I can't find my battlechips in this mess." then he corrected himself as he spotted something. "I just have the one we just got. Sending it your way. I'm counting on you for the rest while I look for my binder in this mess."

"Got it, man." Druidman replied lazily. He began to chant, and white glow surrounded him. "AGELESS TIME FORCE!" he cried, and he began to feel time's grip on him loosen. A mere six actions would feel like six years, maybe. He began to run.

Running straight towards the viruses, he could feel Sim's flaps of wind on his back. Chanting a second time, he could feel a green aura exude out of his person, and begin to seep downwards into the ground. "RAMPANT GROWTH FORCE!"

Finally channeling the chip data into his scimitar, it began to glow with an extreme heat. Doing the only thing that made sense to him, he pushed it into the ground, sending a pulse of flame outwards. "Yeow, dude! This chip is hot to handle! Uncool."

The viruses stood around for a moment as they stared at the dopey-looking druid, unsure of what to do. One of the Karma took the opportunity to launch out a huge metal hockey puck towards him, dealing a significant amount of painful damage to him. (-45x2Break) As it bounced around, it also headed towards Simurgh at some point, but the bird managed to flap away just in time. The stumpy blue Karma virus chattered in delight, as did its partner, as the BigHat sitting on one of the Satellites yelled out something that sounded a bit like encouragement, though it was impossible to really tell. Then, DruidMan screamed out abruptly, making it jump and launch out another hockey puck. (Un?)fortunately, this one was much less accurate than the first, and it bounced around harmlessly as the Navi came close and bloomed out a field of grass under his feet.

In response, the Satellite without the BigHat on it beeped twice over before launching into the sky, its gun barrel trained on his body. The second Karma tossed out its hockey puck as well, but like its partner, was less than successful, which earned the ire of the BigHat as it threw down one of its flashbombs at DruidMan's feet angrily. The bomb didn't get much chance to do its thing, however, as the Navi pulled out a flaming scimitar and erupted the ground around him with a conflagration of fire. The explosion burned up one of each of the Karmas and Satellites respectively, causing the BigHat to drop down to earth and start scuttling about. The grass under his feet provided him some reprieve from the damage he took, but it wasn't enough to recover from all of it. (+5x3)

"Found it!" Steve exclaimed, pulling his binder out from under a pile of garbage. "Sending chip data your way, DruidMan."

"Thanks, dude!" DruidMan chirped as he received the data. "Yeah, this stuff is pretty good, man! I'll give it a go." as he pulled free his scimitar. He channeled the first chip into it and gave it a flick as the metal began to sag and buckle under it's own weight, splashing the gooey metal upwards and away, toward the remaining viruses.

Stashing the hilt of the scimitar away, DruidMan began to channel the next chip, this time through his hands, sending tiny arcs of electricity bouncing between his fingers. "Ho about this one, dudes?!" he cried as he hurled both palms outwards, twirling the powerful energy towards his foes.

As the last moments of energy fade, Druidman twists and spins away slightly, giving him time to leap up into the air, focusing energy into his fist. Feeling Sim fly around him, he feels the wind on his back as he comes crashing downwards, into the throng, solid rock forming around his forearm as he falls.

Finally, Druidman hefted his gauntlet up to his chest as he funneled the last chip data into it. Tapping the large sapphire three times, a trio of leaves curled up and around notching into place like a wrist mounted launcher. Tapping the gem once more, the leaves, twisted and hardened, went screaming off of into the crowd, leaving tiny smoke trails as they went.

DruidMan took out the MetaGel chip into his scimitar, causing it to melt into a heavy fluid, while the BigHat virus in front of him yelled at him for trashing its ride. From under its hat, it extracted a gleaming yellow orb and hefted it at him, just as he launched the MetaGel attack. The glowing orb rolled up to his feet, while the BigHat was drenched in the heavy metal, along with the Satellite high in the sky. Its movement was hampered just as the next attack landed on its comrade, electrocuting the puck-spitting virus. Arcs bounced off from the Karma virus with the ElecReel attack, but the BigHat managed to roll forward just in time, avoiding death by electrocution by a hair's width.

When he spun up into the air, the Satellite began to unload its bullet clip into him with a deafening sound, though it only managed to barely nick his hardened body while he launched himself into the air. (-10/2HardBodyx3Hits) With its attack spent for the moment, the Satellite touched back down on earth--unluckily, right as DruidMan's attack targeted both it and the Karma next to it. The Karma was summarily obliterated before it could act, but the Satellite was safe for the moment. Unfortunately, DruidMan had one final card up his sleeve, launching a trio of incendiary leaves towards the two remaining survivors with an explosive ending. The grass underneath his feet restored all the damage that had resulted from the Satellite's attack, and then some. (+5x6)

Primary Attack Description: Generates a targeting cursor that sweeps back and forth across the field, looking for a target. The cursor ignores decoys, objects, illusions, and invisibility. If the cursor intersects with an actual enemy, Lock-On is achieved, and the virus launches itself into the sky at High Altitude.
Secondary Attack Attack Damage/Effect: (9 Null + Seeking + Enhanced Accuracy) x 10 Shots
Secondary Attack Attack Accuracy: A
Secondary Attack Attack Description: When Lock-On is achieved, this virus fires a barrage of 10 highly accurate shots at its chosen target before landing in its original position. Accuracy debuffs on the Satellite while using this attack are reduced in severity by one rank.
Element: Null
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Lock-On2, Zenny
Special: Immobile outside of its primary attack.
Special: This virus will repeat its primary attack until it finds a target, after which it will be able to use its secondary attack once. When it changes targets, either of its own volition or its current target's death, or uses its Secondary Attack and lands in its original position, it must repeat its primary attack until it finds a new target.
Notes: Triggering invisibility or an illusion, or moving the Satellite forcefully after Lock-On is achieved does not allow a target to escape Lock-On. Lock-On is a shift in the Satellite's state, not a status inflicted on its target, and thus cannot be removed.

Steve looked around at the mess, now generously shoved into one side room, for the most part, and shrugged. "Whatever, good enough, I guess." He dug out his PET and looked at DruidMan. "I'm going to jack you out, we need to buy some stuff." he sifted around the chaos a bit more until he found his shoes.

"Okay, dude. Peace out!" DruidMan yelled as his body burst into a torrent of leaves that were scattered away on the wind...
