A puppet and her rat

Walking out of the portal from netsquare, Freya and her SP wordlessly began to wonder around the network in search of viruses.

(battle 1)

Freya and her new party member ventured into ACDC Net, the Navi herself not expecting much. She wasn't disappointed, her and her SP running into a host of viruses not far from where they entered the area. The panels of the soon-to-be-battlefield were a bit worn looking, but Freya hardly paid any attention to them. She approached the group cautiously as they positioned themselves to attack. The only potential threat seemed to be the smoking stove at the back of the virus force.

Battle 1 Start!

Scanning the battlefield of the area's terrain and viruses, she detected some cracked panels, which was a little off the norm of regular ACDC terrain, but otherwise it wasn't different from her last exploration of the area.

Mask, you better not try anything funny. Just stay here and...do whatever vermin do. Freya said as she waved her hand dismissively at the SP as she turned to the viruses, Mask wasn't impressed with Freya's attitude towards her. Whatever puppet. You're just scared of me. Mask said as she knelt down and began to groom herself, before looking back up at Freya. Don't let me keep you from deleting yourself. Mask added on as she went back to grooming.

Sighing at her SP's behavior, while she deserved that crack, she didn't deserve being forced to endure this. Jack...Give me the Cornshot, Hi-Cannon and Bubbler. I want to make this quick. Freya sighed again as she recieved the requested chips. Forming a barrier around her SP, because she needed it more than her at the moment.

Quickly starting her assault on the viruses, Freya loaded up her Cornshot, a corn shaped object formed in her hands, gaining power by being in Freya's hands. Taking aim at the Canodumb duo with her weapon, the corn in her hand launched at one of them, going in a slight arc before attempting to land on the enemy, a green explosion going off, signaling that it had hit the ground at least before a large kernel of corn exploded from the explosion it's self, bouncing off the ground behind the CanoDumb she targeted, going after the second CanoDumb, a second explosion following soon after in the direction of the second Cannon.
Following up with her attack on the four viruses, Freya formed a large blue cannon on her hand as she quickly tried to get a bead on the Cacty virus, imbueing it with her Subtype ability to seek out targets before letting off a large blast of energy towards the Cacty's head, it began to seek the virus out, attempting to connect with it.
With her final attack, a small blue gun formed in her hand, she quickly targeted the OldStove virus, moving from her position for the first time this battle, she attempted to get into a better possible firing position as she began to strafe from the right of it, attempting to keep aim at it, as she squeezed the trigger on her weapon, sending a burst of water out at the virus, she hoped that this battle wouldn't be dragged out any farther than need be.

Freya's color-coordinated guns and corn did the trick, as one virus after another fell to her attacks. Her success was owed largely to the time she spent aiming each attack. Unfortunately for her rat, however, a CannonDumb managed to aim and fire a shot before going down, which knocked it back and blew off its armor. It was lucky for Mask that Freya had protected him!

Good job...for a rookie. Mask scoffed at Freya as she lazily walked over to the fragments that had appeared, eating them in a single bite. Let's get going puppet. I'm still hungry. She said as she began to walk deeper into the area. Is this a good idea? Freya asked bluntly as she ran after her SP, catching up in the nick of time. I don't know anymore... Jack mumbled to himself, but, at least the two were in a relatively safe area...right?

(Battle 2, 140HP, 40HP)

Three Champus and a couple Metools come up to Freya and her gross rat thing for no reason other than to have a great brawl or something. Isn't that the way it's supposed to be?

... Fine.

Freya and rat walked along the ACDC network, when all of a sudden, a trio of Champus dropped from overhead, causing them to stumble backwards in surprise! Unfortunately, stumbling backwards wasn't a good idea either, for their way back was blocked by a couple of Metools, brandishing their mattocks with a hostile look in their eyes.

-BATTLE TWO, FIGHT!!-

More weaklings. Mask mumbled as she looked at the viruses with a lazy look on her face, scoffing at the viruses. Take care of them, would you puppet? Mask asked of her "master" as she began to walk around the battlefield at a lazy pace, at this point, a barrier forms around her, Freya shaking her head in disgust of her SP's laziness as she looked towards the viruses, three Champu and two Metools, easy pickings if she did this right. RedFruit, Dash, Varitail. Freya said, listing the chips she wanted, Jack couldn't help but be puzzled at the choice of the RedFruit, but slotted it in none the less.

Sighing to herself as the chips downloaded to her systems, Freya looked up as she turned to the SP, still walking around like the lazy bitch she was. Shaking her head and focusing on the viruses, she used the first of the chips, summoning a rather large apple onto the field between her and the viruses, the apple began to jump about on the field, moving in a different direction every time.

Line them up... She mumbled as she moved from her position, attempting to line up the grouping of viruses as she thought she had the perfect angle. Knock them to the nine circles of hell and back... she finished as she summoned a fishy above her, a handle dropping down as Freya grabbed it, adding some additional accuracy to the Fishy and giving it the ability to seek out the viruses, she rocketed off towards the entire group, G-forces pulling at her as she kept her grip, ending up on the other side of the viruses.

Weather or not she managed to delete the entire group of viruses, Freya dashed from her position, summoning a large whip-like weapon in her hand as it split into nine separate whip-like tails. Each "tail" of the whip was razor sharp and ready for cutting through viruses as she rushed over to the Metool viruses that she had not noticed earlier and brought her arm back, lashing out towards one of them diagonally, making sure the nine tails would each have a chance to hit as she looked over to the other, untouched, Metool, with a glint in her eye, she proceeded to attempt to try and cut through it's body with another diagonal slash at it.

Starting the battle with the RedFruit caught the virus in a strange confusion, but one metool seemed to have a straight face as it pummeled the ground to smack Freya with a shockwave. The DashAttack made quick work of two Champus, which was a miracle considering how the viruses was lined up side ways and not straight for the chip to hit multiple targets. The last of the Champu sought revenge as it wildly swung its flaming fist and was able to connect one solid hit against the wooden navi. Freya immediately started her attack against the Metools behind her and the poor viruses was simply shredded into unrecognizable pieces.

Reeling from the attacks that had managed to strike her, Freya grunted through the pain. Ugh. Need to be more careful. Freya mumbled as she placed a hand on the smoldering wound from the Champu she had missed. Amateur... Mask scoffed at Freya getting hit. Mask...do me a favor. Shut. Your. Fucking. Trap. Freya grunted, turning to her lazy SP before turning back to the situation at hand. None of the viruses went after the RedFruit. I can use that to heal. Freya said.

Forming a barrier around her body, leaving Mask to her own devices, as she took aim at the fruit, calculating it's jumping trajectory, as she shot a blast of energy out of her palm, hoping she hit.

Following up with her attack on the apple, Freya turned to the Champu, with a quick thought, Freya began to speak in a different language, one that not even Jack was able to understand. Whatever language it was, however, it summoned three black balls of energy, each circling around Freya's form, before, with a single command, the balls took off at the Champu, one after another.

Ready to finish off the virus, Freya changed her arm into a rather large instrument of destruction, taking aim at the virus again, her arm quickly fired off at the virus, attempting to smash through and delete it as it quickly returned to her.

Taking advantage of the enemy's dwindling numbers, Freya took a moment to retort at her SP and take a shot at the deployed RedFruit. With nothing to intercept it, the shot pierced the apple and fully healed Freya. She followed up her initial attack with a volley of black energy balls that left the Champu clinging to life. It warped up to the puppet just as she let her arm loose and was subsequently hit very hard in the face.

Walking over to the bugfrags like last time, Mask quickly wolfed them up, eating noisily before finishing and turning to Freya. Still hungry puppet. When are we going to get something more than these slim pickings? She asked, walking over to Freya, who was picking up the rewards from the battle. Hmmm...chip data and some zenny. Data signature is similar to a champu virus, must be a Firehit chip. She said, ignoring her SP, as she sent the data to Jack, whom quickly collected it. And to answer your question, Mask, it's ACDC, it has the weakest viruses in the net, what do you expect? Freya said, as she opened a portal to Net Square. Let's go elsewhere then. Let me see how long you can last. She said, annoyed, as she waked through, her SP following right behind her.
