O snap moar gun-fu

"Wha... it's getting hot in here..." Validus said as he wiped the sweat off his brow, until he noticed the main reason for the sudden spike in temperature. "Stoves and firefist boxers...?" Tsujsa said as he ran analysis on the virus. "They're flame navis. Take them out with aqua weapons!" He advised as he slotted in an Aquaneedle chip.

Tsujsa grinned and pulled his rifle out. [b]"As if I need to know that." The navi remarked as the morph rifle turned into the Hybrid Lance/Rifle weapon. Pulling out the side screen mounted on the left of the rifle, he tapped one of the boxer viruses twice and once on the stove, and proceeded to launch himself into the air for an easier time to rain needle death on his enemies.

The Swordy was first to arrive at Validus' position, and it proceeded to do what it did best: slice up Navis. Unfortunately, it missed entirely when Validus decided to leap into the air in a spectacular fashion, firing needles every which way. Two down, three to go. Now all he had to do was land safely... into... a... tower of fire. Crap.

"Oh SHI-" Validus cursed before he pulled himself together, and used a free hand to pull his handgun from the holster on his side hip.

If the knockback upgrade did what it was supposed to, then it would push the stove virus away from him, allowing him to land safely and destroy it...

Validus managed to pull of a shot quickly enough, causing the oldstove to swing back and spew flames all around itself in a jet, but luckily not in the direction of Validus where it had undoubtedly intended to aim. The other viruses were undeterred, however, and continued their approach past their unfortunate ally.

Landing firmly with both his feet, Validus made a totally unnecessary badass twirl with his hand- no wait, Revolver and placed it into his holster, and brought the rifle up to bear. Next came the data for a shotgun chip. The Rifle morphed into a Shotgun design as he locked onto the charging virii, particularly the swordy virus leading the other flaming virii with his visor piece.

"Rest in pieces!" The navi said, recalling the line from a certain mustachioed boy from a comic involving a doctor who is also a ninja.

Tsujsa merely facepalmed.

Validus' aim was spot-on, as he blasted the Swordy leading the group, managing to hit the stove virus behind it as well. The knight wasn't deterred, though. It drew its purple blade and executed a well-placed jab on the marksman, dealing severe damage (30) while its comrade took a swing as well. (10)

"Oi, you okay there?!"
"Tch... just a flesh wound. Be thankful that this isn't the real world." Validus grunted as he placed a hand over the area where he had been pierced. Angrily eying the sword virus, he lifted the rifle up and aimed it towards the knight armored virus. [b]"Let's see how ancient armor deals with modern warfare!"

The chip slot data conversion was instantaneous, as the cannon data reaches into the Morph rifle, turning it into a heavy cannon-like weapon. The weapon made a hissing sound as steam was released, and a cannon projectile shot out of the barrel, aimed at the sword virus.

Validus didn't stop there, as he pulled the reload mechanism on the rifle, an empty shell popping out of the rifle's side. The weapon turned from a casual green to an alluring blue, as the barrel extended slight larger. He aimed the cannon at the last virus, and pulled the trigger as well.

The Swordy try to charge in and finish the battle with the swing of his sword. However, it was nothing but a reckless move that costed its life as Validus' steam cannon literally ripped through the virus' torso and deleted it in an instant. The last champu tried to be less offensive and more defensive after seeing what happened to his comrade, but it was a laughable effort when the rifle shot got a clean shot at the evasive virus!

Validus pulled the reload mechanism, a shell casing popping out of his rifle and hitting the floor, and the virus exploded into tiny bits of data particles. "Round 3 complete." The navi said with a smirk.

"Great job. Oh yeah, check your pockets. I think the recovery packs are there."

Validus checked the side pouches that were strapped on his belt, and dug out a small satchel with a red cross on it. "You mean this?"

"I think so... running the program now." Tsujsa said as he clicked on the little satchel on Validus's hand. Slowly, the medical pack glowed brightly and exploded into the air, before swirling into a dazzling display of white lines that surrounded and spun around Validus.

"Whoa... I feel... a hell lot better."
"Great! Now get your ass deeper into the net."
"Yes, Captain McSlave Driverus."

Validus continued on, most of his injuries from prior battles healed. He soon came across a medium sized patch of green grass amidst the normal panels of ACDC. It seemed out of place, but the Navi thought nothing of it; this kind of thing probably happened all the time. Halfway over the small area of grass, Validus stopped short and watched as two agile Spikeys bounded towards him, stopping just off of the grass. To make matters worse, a duo of diminutive pinkish tanks emerged from behind Validus, once again stopping just before the patch of grass.

It would probably be a good idea to move.

Battle 4 Start!

"Oh great, more fire creatures." Validus said in a sarcastic tone as he pulled the rifle out. "Better not stand on fuel... otherwise I'd get seriously burned." the navi said as he signalled to Tsujsa with a swinging hand wave, which the operator took this as a request for the rageclaw. Immediately, he responded.

Validus's arm glowed bright for a moment, before the familiar claw appeared. With a smile, and a reticule aimed over the tank/beetle hybrid virus, he sped off, charging straight for the tank with the intent to impale the virus while moving in an agile manner, ready to dodge any attacks made by the viruses.

The Spikeys wasted no time, blasting a couple of fireballs in Validus' way, which thankfully missed as he promptly proceeded to get the hell out of Dodge. The Beetanks did the same, except their bombs weren't so accurate either, and Validus managed to impale one of the Beetanks clear on its cannon, stuffing its barrel full of nothing but claw. The grass hit by the Spikeys' fireballs was totally incinerated, leaving topsoil behind.

With the virus impaled on his claw, Validus grinned. Immediately, he jumped into the air, and registered the position in which the other beetank was, before spinning vertically and using the weight of the impaled beetank to accelerate his flips, and he flipped... and he flipped...

...and sent the Beetle/tank virus crashing into it's ally.

Seeing how his claw was embedded into one of the BeeTanks, Validus took the virus and lept up in the sky. He began to spin around and around, but this gave time for the impaled Beetank to randomly fire its bomb all over the place and get the navi with one lucky explosion.

Fortunately, the attack wasn't so severe and didn't affect Validus' spinning. With all the gathered velocity behind the Beetank, the virus was finally thrown against its comrade and it self exploded in a large spectacle.

"Man, that thing blows up so nicely."
"Shut your mouth and keep fighting, there's still them dogs."

Validus grumbled, but acknowledged Tsujsa's warning. After all, the dog-like viruses could breath fireballs like a rocket. So the best thing to do was to get rid of them before they posed any more of a threat. "Sir, requesting water attack chips to take care of the spikeys." The navi said as he pulled the rifle out and sprinted, not wanting to stay in one place like a target. But he was also careful not to step on any of the grass panels, otherwise hell was literally going to break loose.

Tsujsa replied with a "got it" and slotted in the Aquaneedle chip. Immediately the morph rifle shifted it's shape into the familiar lance/rifle combination. Looking at the mini display mounted on the weapon, he tapped one of the spikey three times, aimed the weapon into the sky facing where the spikey was, and pulled the trigger. Three giant needles flew into the air, carrying a sloshing sound as each needle soared across the air to find it's mark on the dog-like virus.

Immediately after firing the aquaneedle, Validus slung his rifle barrel down and made his way across the terrain, weaving through fire and any other attacks from the other viruses. His eyes trained on the other bee-like tank as he lifted his claw, and prepared to smash the entire claw full force into it.

Validus quickly formed his lanceriflething, and fired the volley of AquaNeedles towards a Spikey. The wolf virus didn't have any time to react while the needle barrage did its thing and deleted it. Its companion wasn't too happy about this, and fired a fireball, of all things. It didn't hit, due to Validus' weaving and dodging. The tank tried to fire off an attack from its muzzle, but it got intercepted by Rageclaw stabglory.

"The last virus. You know what to do, Validus." Tsujsa said as he placed a Hi-Cannon chip into the PET. Bringing the Morph rifle to bear, it began to change into a larger gun, with a short and wide barrel. With the visor locking onto the last Spikey, Validus smiled and pulled the trigger. A large projectile was launched and flew straight for the dog-like virus.

Without stopping, Validus pressed the small red button on the side of the rifle, and opened up the bullet chamber. He used his free hand to pull a long, sharp bullet and slotted it into the chamber, before pulling the lever on the side towards him. The barrel shifted back into the original rifle's length, and the scope materialized on top of the weapon.

Validus aimed, and fired the killing shot.
