Human Character Sheet

Name: Adrian "Art" Rogers Tremblay
Age: 25
Gender: Male.

Physical Description:
Standing at 6 ft and with a large frame, Art looks physically capable to carry out laborious work without breaking a sweat. His black hair is cropped short enough to ensure that it isn't obstructing his view or his job. His eyes, a stern brown, accompany the light stubble on his chin to complete a generally intimidating outlook.

He typically wears his working "Maintenance Dept." uniform, which consists of a long sleeved, round collared jacket and a pair of cargo pants. Both items are dyed in the single, boring color of grey. The jacket has windbreaker-like sleeves at the end of the jacket and sleeves to avoid the loss of warmth. It is, to a degree, waterproof. The back of the jacket has conspicuous wording of "MAINTENANCE" printed in white. It has two breast pockets and two side pockets, along with two hidden pockets within the jacket. Art's full name is printed on a white tag right above his left breast pocket. The logo of the maintenance department is printed on both sides of the jacket's sleeves as reference.

He wears a normal tee shirt underneath the jacket. The cargo pants have the default waist pockets, back pockets and in addition to that, thigh pockets for storage.

Also part of the uniform is a pair of industrial rubber boots in black (with socks), along with a simple, black utility belt for storage of any material needed for work. The belt is emptied at the end of each working day, the contents returned to the maintenance department. An additional holster is provided for Art's handgun.

Personality:
Brash and not the brightest bulb in any group, Art is a man of action, not words. Many times you'll see him doing things, rather than speaking or commenting—getting things done, though he can be a bit dense when it came to considering consequences. Being a stubborn prick that he was, though, once he had decided on doing something a certain way, he was impossible to be convinced of otherwise. That said, however, when he does speak, it would probably come off as rude, despite it not being his intentions.

History:
Art, by all means, led a fully normal life until he was 19, when he ran away from his house due to family scuffles and started living on his own. Holding but a mere Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics from an unknown university in Waterloo, upon graduation at 23, Art landed himself with sheer luck a job with a warehousing company in Toronto, even further away from his home; dampening his wish and chances to reconcile with his family. His first job was good, and most of his colleagues remembered him well as a helpful guy who will go all out to help out lazy colleagues—not knowing that Art generally used the extra work as an excuse to run away from his family issues.

All was well up until half a year ago when Art was involved in an unfortunate portside, work-related incident, leaving Art crippled for life. Not surprisingly, the incident changed his way of life forever—but not in the conventional way that most would think.

Half-dead and approached by mercenary organisation Kernelight, Art was happily "informed" that the warehousing company had dropped him as part of Kernelight's offer to buy Art over to work with the mercenary, much to the crippled man's confusion. Apparently it was an attempt to cover up Art's accident as an act of negligence, rather than admitting to the public that it was a working hazard that the management had failed to address. Of course, that being the case, Kernelight's offer was obviously the only path Art could go with—get transferred, work for them, and get the medical expenses paid for. Sure, that's a sweet deal. What's the catch, though?

Pain-filled hell involving technology and cybernetics, of course.

On paper, he was accepted into the mercenary group by submitting an application, and passing their entry test. Despite the various levels of doubt amongst his new colleagues, however, nobody cared—because he only worked as a bloody janitor for Kernelight. Not like he was some big shot or anything. And thus, being one insignificant cleaner, Art restarted his life once more.

Job: Kernelight Maintenance Department — Cleanliness Officer.

AI Character Sheet
Name:Note.EXE
Element: Normal
Subtype: Variable
Gender: Female

Physical Description:

Standing at a digital equivalent of 5' 2", Note takes on the appearance of a lean preteen, complete with a round, childish face and bright eyes of orangish-red. As expected of an AI, however, other than her human appearance and face, there was nothing else that spelt human-like-- she had no human equivalent of ears, hair, nor eyebrows.

Note's outfit is what she's basically representing-- music. Her headgear, after the forehead guard and hairband, for example, featured a huge slab of extended, pale yellow cloth, which widened ever slightly behind Note's back all the way to her ankles in terms of length, as if it was a huge musical note. Covering the sides to the back of her head were two pieces of mushroom green cloth, acting as replacement of hair, or shades from the bright, digital sun. Replacing where her ears would've been are ear covers, stylised unconventionally as a yellow and black tailed note.

Her bodysuit is a plain black, adorned by a simple stripe of yellow down the sides of each of her limb. The yellow side stripes on her body, however, were slightly different; it was a combination between a reversed note and a flat-symbol. Two more stripes extended from both her sides at waist level towards the center of her stomach in descending lengths. Her emblem is prominently displayed on her chest as two reversing notes facing each other. Another yellow stripe runs through this emblem, beginning as a loop from her neck and ending on where her belly button would be. Completing her bodysuit is a cute little pale yellow miniskirt, pleated into 3 segments, attached to the sides and back of her waist, with the left side of her skirt having an extra little cloth loop for her to keep her microphone.

Her microphone is a standard cardioid dynamic microphone, much like those typically used in live shows and performances. You'll occasionally find the microphone with a cord, or not-- it could be used both ways.

Note dons a pair of long gloves and knee-high boots, basked in yellow and adorned with the same mushroom-green shade on the top rim of each gear. Her gloves have an additional opening to reveal frequency and density data to Note, as well as a bright yellow stripe beneath it before ending with a fingerless part of the gloves. Her boots, on the other hand, featured wide mushroom stripes around the lower part of her boots and the back of her feet. In addition to the additional note design attached to her ankles which resembled her ear covers, her boots also featured a black stripe across the top of her feet and thickened soles, completing her simple, yet complicated-to-explain-in-words design.

Personality:
Quiet and meek to strangers, Note only reveals her true self when approached further; where she explodes into a little bundle of hyperactive cheekiness, where she embraces everything fun-loving... Or in attempting to make other people embrace the love and fun in the process. Note's personality takes to a whole new level when she interacts with Art, however; on top of childish teasing, it was entirely normal for her to make Art's life more difficult at times with music. Lots of it.

Her main weapon outside of battle is her huge staring powers (read: big, beady eyes) and her innocent child-like behaviour.

History:
- information currently unavailable -

Custom Weapon:
Note rarely sang as a form of attack-- instead, she manipulates the air around her to emit frequencies that resembled the 7-note string found in music theory. She is essentially a music player on-the-go. When a push comes to a shove, however, her ability to manipulate airwaves could be turned into a deadly, formless weapon.
Her voice is on a totally different level of firepower, however; and she only brandishes it in some of her later, more powerful signature attacks.

Name: Keena.EXE (Key-nah)
Element: Normal
Subtype: Break
Gender: Female

Physical Description: Keena is a navi with a thin athletic frame and a height of 5'10, built more for agility and flexibility over strength. Tanned flesh, short messy violet hair and clear blue eyes form her more notable facial features. Her upper body is covered by a cobalt blue strapless cotton tank top, and further covered from the neck down by a black oilskin cloak complete with a hood which she usually leaves down. Within the cloak are various pockets containing useful tools she uses, for utility and fighting. On each arm, Keena wears black fingerless gloves with a protective metal plate on the back. From to gloves to her elbow she wears a similar colored protective leather bracer.

On her lower half Keena wears a pair of brown flexible linen pants, and a pair of leather boots that come halfway up her shins. The leather boots are black in color, with 4 straps going up the front. Holding up the pants is a black leather belt aswell, fitted with various pouches for even more tools, as well as a knife on either side of her hips. The buckle itself is actually her Navi Symbol, golden lock over a black background, circled in red and crossed out.

Personality: Keena is a fun loving AI who is all about the thrill of a good challenge, and the world is one big game for her to play. She's quick to agree with others whenever the topic could be perceived as something fun she could do, and will volunteer first for any sort of infiltration or theft without a second thought. When she disagrees with something however, she's very outspoken about it and will often hesitate to co-operate even when mandatory.

History: Keena's existence is a culmination of Liz's obsession with her gaming life and strategy RPGs, and the need of a able partner in her line of work. Her day to day life usually consists of aiding Liz in any way possible, doing the things that she can't do herself and helping out on a project when Liz's programming or hacking skills just aren't quite enough. More often than not it's testing security against AI-controlled attacks and theft and various systems, a task Keena enjoys every second of. Her specialty has always been stealth infiltration in these tasks, however when there's something you just cant sneak past Keena would just resort to breaking through with force.

Custom Weapon:
Melee attack - Twin Daggers: For close range skirmishes, Keena relies on a pair of simple iron daggers for swift strikes.
Melee Charged - Critical Strike: Taking time to study her enemy and prepare, Keena will suddenly strike a vital spot of an enemy at top speed, seeming to disappear and reappear in a flash.
Ranged attack - Flintlock Pistols: When it comes to ranged combat, Keena will resort to pulling two flintlock pistols from her cloak to put down her enemies.
Ranged Charge - Concealed Explosives: When nothing else cuts it, Keena will fling open her cloak tossing a massive set of small explosives at her enemies.

Human Character Sheet

Player: Raiko
Name: Liz (Elizabeth) Stevenson
Age: 22
Gender: Female

Physical Description: Standing at 5'7; Liz is a fairly fit Caucasian with pretty average looks to most folks. Her black hair hangs down to her chin and is adorned with red highlights here and there. She keeps her hair to the sides so her face isn't hidden, revealing her deep green eyes. Her clothing choices are often pretty plain often wearing jeans (usually the kind that can stretch) or shorts once it warms up, as well as simple t-shirts (often with a gaming reference) or tank top with a black hoodie when it's colder out. Liz isn't one for jewelry or accessories usually, leaving her attire fairly bland.

Personality: Liz often keeps to herself at work, quiet and focused. Outside of work she normally loves to enjoy all the world has to offer and is a very open person.Unfortunately she has the poor habit of getting completely absorbed in her games or work which often leads to her ignoring just about everything else around her; The opposite of how she is when running.
Liz will take challenges head on, doing whatever she can on her own but once she knows she isn't capable by herself she's fully willing to admit it and ask for help.

History: Growing up Liz was pretty much raised with video games and electronics. When she wasn't in school or studying you could often find her in her room playing some form of rpg or strategy based game she was completely absorbed in at the time, wether it be on computer or console. Her obsession eventually led to a dream of being a game designer but liz herself had no real artistist vision or talent to speak of. Unable to really get into the field she took the next best thing, using her computer knowledge to get into programming figuring she could at least still get close to the gaming industry.

While still in highschool she learned about parkour from a group of kids in one of her other classes. When she started thinking about how unhealthy her lifestyle was spending all day at the computer, she started doing it as a hobby worryied that all that time spent at the computer was making her unfit in multiple ways.

Eventually realizing that the programming field was a bit over saturated as far as the gaming industry was concerned, and having a well developed talent with computers her path began to stray from high school and eventually led her to a computer security company, specifically as a security hacker where she flourished. Once she was done for the day, she'd often take a bit of a rest, eat a meal, and then spend a few hours with her now regular hobby of Parkour.

Job: Security company, hacker.

AI Character Sheet

Name: Frank
Element: Null
Subtype: Guts
Gender: Variable, identifies as Male

Physical Description: Frank's body is the definition of a patch job gone horribly wrong. Appearing to be patched up from body parts from several different figures, Frank usually stands a little shorter than most, at around 5 feet or so. Most of the time, his limbs are comically differently-sized, to the point that one wonders how Frank keeps his balance and footing in check. The reason for this is Frank can change the size and shape of his body parts at will, usually separately, with hilarious results. This includes gender-related parts, as is required by his line of work. He seems happy enough to lumber around awkwardly despite his rudely misshapen body, though he's moderately quick, despite all appearances.

His torso, abdomen, and head are covered with a tight grey skinsuit, while his arms and legs are the same, except colored a dark red, with his knuckles uncovered. Red spikes appear from the top of his flat head to give the appearance of hair. The sides of his shoulders sport emblems of a Philips screw head. His face is as square and dumb as it gets, sporting dull red eyes, and a perpetual smile that Frank literally has on at all times (except maybe when he's laughing.)

Personality: Frank's head is as thick as his skin. He prefers to use... small statements, to be polite, in expressing his thoughts. Unlike Daniel, Frank's cheerfulness is boundless, despite his constantly being abused by the man as a venting tool. His jokes could be better, though, as they're all related to slugging something. He means well, but damn if they're not cringe-worthy.

History: Frank was written by Daniel in an attempt to streamline testing protocols for prototype enhancements and prosthetics. Before Frank's inception, Daniel's testing was limited to dummy pseudo-AIs coded to interface with the prototype, every single one trashed immediately after their uses were down. This was because each of them was only tailored specifically to the prototype they were testing, and no more. Frank was supposed to eliminate the need for the wastage... and did it perfectly. In addition to that, for the last couple of years, Frank helped Daniel's work flourish with his ability to simulate an immense variety of body types to test out his prototypes and design them accordingly.

Naturally, Frank's existence is a jealously-guarded secret, as the bitter engineer refuses to let anyone else in and compete with him by copying his design. Frank always lives in Daniel's work computer, locked down to the point that even if someone did discover him, it would be next to impossible for them to do anything about getting him out, save for Daniel's approval.

Custom Weapon: Most of the time, Frank simply modifies his body parts to give powerful melee blows. For a ranged attack, he produces shockwaves or energy blasts by thumping down on the ground or clapping at the air.

Human Character Sheet

Name: Daniel Shields
Age: 34
Gender: Male

Physical Description: Standing at about 153cm and weighing a little bit on the meaty side, Daniel Shields isn't anything particularly remarkable when you look at him; he's almost always the shortest among his colleagues. His pale face tends to be marred by barely-kept facial hair and a slightly displeased expression most of the time. His plain brown hair is self-styled, reaching the back of his neck in length. It saves him a few dollars every couple of months from barber visits. Daniel tends to dress down most of the time, preferring very light clothes even in cold weather. This is only valid for his casual attire, however, as he takes pride in sharp attire for work.

Personality: Daniel was always a bit bright towards his books, but he tends to slip up when he deals with other people, mostly verbally. Thanks to his father's harsher than usual upbringing, it's difficult to have a conversation with him without cursing everything that moves. Even more so if it's a female, as his repeatedly failed attempts to have meaningful relationships have turned him quite bitter. Losing himself into work and research is a common tactic for him to escape depression; he enters an almost trance-like workaholic state when he's completely into it.

History: Coming from a rather broken-up family, Daniel's mother passed away from a hereditary disease, leaving him with his father as the second of two brothers at the tender age of 6. A good deal of attention was given to his brother, and Daniel was left to live a mostly loveless childhood. However, a big accident at the age of 14 caused his father to sustain a critical injury and his brother to pass away.

His father recovered quickly, but contrary to Daniel's expectations, his father did not turn his attention to him -- not in a positive manner, at least. Taking to alcoholism, his father repeatedly made sure Daniel's remaining years of school were a misery before he moved out to pursue a scholarship-funded degree in engineering.

Most of Daniel's college life was him trying to change his fact of loneliness, and he did somewhat succeed in this undertaking with his efforts. However, he could never make the last step, and plainly dragged on each opportunity he was given; he is now sworn off girls and cooties, considering it to be too much effort.

Currently, Daniel's day-to-day happenings consist of work, work, and more work, then going home to immerse himself in the one thing he managed to utilize (and obsess about) from his girl-hunting years: cooking. The other thing, which was sleight-of-hand tricks, didn't do much at the end of the day. His culinary experimentation has admittedly made his waistline a little less great, but hey, at least he had something to do besides work himself to death.

Job: Daniel works as an engineer in Laplace Industries, a highly respected firm mainly dealing with the very widespread development of human enhancements and prosthetics, having had this job for the last ten years or so.

Human Character Sheet

Name: Cassidy Adler
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Physical Description:
At 5'8" with a thin frame, Cassidy could probably lift 100 pounds. If she was really trying, from a dead lift. She's not exactly the sterling example of strength and glory, but at least doesn't look too eccentric for her level of intelligence. Perhaps her stunning mouse-brown shoulder-length hair or her fairly common grey-blue eyes would mark her out. Or maybe not.

Maybe it's her conservative nondescript long-sleeved shirt, waistcoat, and pea coat with pants that could have been ripped off the assembly line for how much they resemble jeans. Well. At least that's vaguely formal and representing her job? Maybe she's wearing dress shoes. Nope. Sneakers. What about her could be at all interesting or make you spot her in a crowd? The nape of her neck? The light, somewhat easily burned skin that refuses to tan well that everyone in the frozen wastelands of the north has? Maybe her thin, vaguely annoyed face, or the scar on her cheek that runs across from the edge of her left lip and ends near her jaw, forcing her left lip upward into a constant smirk, with a decent dose of keloid that won't be fading away any time soon. Or maybe she's just a 136 pound lightweight whose sense for beauty sleep is time better spent doing something else.

Personality:
Cassidy could be best described as the "best and brightest", and knew it from a very early age. Every standardized test was simple for her, and she has had very few failures. As such, she's extremely confident in herself and her answers. She never hesitates, and always voices her opinion. She attracts people, and usually manages to stay on mostly good terms on them. Her inquisitive mind leads to boundless and incessant curiosity about everything and everyone, trying to figure out people and why they do things. Perceptive and occasionally very annoying, she makes for a good doctor who cares, but a very nosy friend.

History:
From a very early age, Cassidy was smart. Really smart. Most intelligent, upper middle class people can be roughly 1-3 standard deviations above the norm. Cassidy is roughly 13-15 standard deviations above those people. Where most children were taking apart their parent's delicate items apart (violently,) Cassidy was taking them apart and putting them back together with ease. Where most children were potty trained, she was working on anatomy. Her parents were distressed, eager, and afraid at the same time. How do you deal with a daughter that knows she couldn't be properly tested by the Stanford-Binet test?

She was shown off on TV and in the Edmonton Aurora school, she flourished until she graduated at the age of 10, and went to John Hopkins University on a full ride scholarship. After which, she continued her education in John Hopkins Medical school, at the age of 16, where she graduated at 19, her first unexpected failure, as she had expected to finish around her 18th birthday. Cassidy fell deeper and deeper into her job, working and being paid, working and being paid, never failing.

It was an obsession, a repeating cycle of self-confirmation and success that spiraled deeper and deeper.

It was when she was walking home one night, and was mugged, her right cheek slashed open, that she was snapped out of her fugue. In shock, feeling unsafe and beginning to feel the weight of her fixation, she quit her job and withdrew into herself, abandoning her semblance of a social life and surviving on bare necessities.

When she came out, she felt driven, but not in the same obsessive manner that she had been before. Cassidy applied, and was accepted to the Mayo Clinic, where she began research and experimentation on new Neurological treatments, using her surgical expertise and know-how. She worked there for 4 years before "retiring" on good terms with her colleagues and moving back to her home town of Toronto, starting up her own non-profit clinic (after taking the necessary tests and passing with flying colors) where she takes customers based on a "need" basis. She keeps her own hours, and occasionally guest lectures at Ryerson University.

AI Character Sheet

Name: Mneme
Element: Null
Subtype: Bug

Gender: Female
Faction: n/a

Physical Description:
As a vague call-back to a Greek Muse, Mneme's physical appearance represents a modernized stylistic muse that Cassidy designed herself. She wears a flowing waist-length Cerulean toga, that is coated and trimmed with moving golden data streams. Under the toga, she is lightly armored with compact pieces of defense data, such as bronze greaves and bracers, that are similarly engraved with cerulean and trimmed with golden data streams. Under this, she wears the skinsuit most navis have under that. Her emblem, used as a clip for her toga, is a slate-grey with a sprig of rosemary and its flowers.

Mneme is not a very pretty navi, hawk-nosed and a face that looks like it's vaguely irritated. Her eyes are indigo, and her hair is black with an oxford blue sheen. Any whiter, and her skin would be resemble the parian marble that it is supposed to.

There is an ordinary leather scabbard strapped to her side, with a kopis roughly 32 centimeters long within it.

Background:
If asked, Cassidy would call Mneme her ultimate creation, and best work as a neurosurgeon. Mneme is an experiment in the human brain, creating a fully working and functioning representation of it in virtual form. This allows for both manipulation and alteration of a brain on the virtual scale, allowing for testing that could never be done in real life, thanks to issues related to ethics/time.

As a result, Mneme is just that, the closest simulation of Cassidy's brain that she could create, without any of the knowledge/experience behind it. As a result, Mneme's "memories" are limited, and feel like things she has not experienced, or are things from other perspectives. It makes for a very interesting relationship. Currently a year old, she values all of her memories very highly.

The research that went into Mneme was partially provided for by the Department of Defense, and as a result, she is affiliated and does occasional work for the Authorities, and records of her brain-wave patterns are submitted on a semi-random basis for examination.

Personality:
Mneme is Cassidy, except more curious and inquisitive. She a childlike naïveté that belies her appearance, and wants to constantly enlarge her sphere of experience. She can download all of the information she needs, and has a flawless memory, but the issue is not having actually experienced these things. As a result, she is constantly operating at a level where she is both multiprocessing with her human brain as well as on a normal level, to gain as much experience as possible. This can make her seem slightly out of it at times, as she takes in the experience, then answers, or a jolting quick response.

Custom Weapon:

Melee (Uncharged): Quip: A quick slash with Retort, Mneme's Kopis.
Melee (Charged): Rejoinder: A stab with Retort, that carries a jolt of disruptive data.
Ranged (Uncharged): Parthian Shot: A quick toss of a generated light data-spear named Apology.
Ranged (Charged): Apology: Apology wrapped in what appears to be disruptive data skinned as ethereal hemlock leaves.

[tabs][tab=Confabulation:] [Active, 2TCD]:

Everything is an extension of what is in the mind, and memory is extremely important to being able to function. This ability plays a trick on what is and what isn't in someone's memory by a fabrication and an invasive data packet utilizing Mneme's unique disposition.

[tab=Doublethink:] [Active, 2 TCD]:

To forget something, then consciously forget you have forgotten it is natural for navis, but a crime against nature for Mneme. However much she dislikes it, she can artificially induce this in herself and others, but the alteration to someone's hardwired memories can be disastrous (or incredibly beneficial) depending on what it does.

Glitch(4)[80][/tab]

[tab=Gaslighting:] [Active, 1TCD]:

In a sociopathic restructuring of reality to convince others that things are the way they should be, information control is vital. What could possibly be better than misinforming and belief of the misinformation?

Decoy(1)[20][/tab]

[tab=Metacognition:] [Active]:

What's more important than thinking? Thinking about thinking. What everyone knows and what they know they know, as opposed to simply thinking they know. Thinking about thinking is very important toward self-examination and occasionally can help in battle.
