REGARDING HIGURE'S CHIP PRICES:

Why is a Cannon 1500z while a Shotgun only 1000z? Shotgun does more damage, with a possibility of a second hit.

Could this be changed?
I guess back in the games, since Shotgun only did 30 damage, the lower price was justified... And then there was the whole matter of lining the shot up.
Chances are Nal just copypasted the price list from a walkthrough somewhere. I don't think he took to mind what the chips would be worth under this system, so all the prices from the game got transferred.
So... yeah. Would a mod be willing to change this?
No, Cannons are used for the giga cannon program advance.

While Shotguns have no program advance under our system.

So that is why I think we should keep it the way we have it.
Yes, but how many people are going to have no cannon but have the other two? Especially seeing as how the cannon is ONE OF THE STARTER CHIPS.

But still, I say Shotgun is underpriced. 50 damage to two for 1000, while 60 damage to three in wood element is 2500? I'd say at least raise it to 1500.
Hell, just switch the prices for Cannon and Shotgun... at least, that's what I think would be fair. Maybe 1600 for Shotgun.
PA's comment is true: everyone already has a Cannon... And besides, Hi- and M-Cannons are required for the PA, and they can't be bought. M-Cannon is incredibly rare, only avaliable from certain events or boss fights.... Maybe the Undernet too. I can't check up on that, since all the old topics from the Undernet have been deleted.
Thanks for the support, King. But I feel obligated to point out that HiCannon may be bought.

M-Cannon can't, though, and a PA with only two of the chips doesn't happen. So, is there any other mod input on this? Are price changes in order?
Did you want to buy another Cannon? If not...Then who cares? If someone wants to change the price then fine, but I don't see why anyone is concerned with such a crappy chip.
Uh... but there's no real reason to keep it that price all the same, right? It's a bit deceptive when concerning trades and what not, considering many people think of the shop prices as an authority.
Precisely what I'm concerned with. If we offer a shotgun for 1400z because it's a good chip, but they can buy it for 1000z, it hurts the person trading away the shotgun.
Well then, that's a trade issue concerning the price of the shotgun. It has nothing to do with the cannon's price. Everyone knows the effectiveness of a cannon. If they are stupid enough to think that they are getting a great deal due to the store price, that is their problem. As it stands, P.A. now wants the price of a shotgun raised because he believes that it is worth more than 1000z.

That is crap logic by the way. Like saying, I wanna sell this apple for $3 because I think it is going to be really tasty, but a person can just go to the store and buy one for less. So, no one will buy mine, despite how much I believe my apple to be worth. Crap logic.
My internet crapped up on me... I was going to edit in one final argument, but I have to say I don't quite think it matters anymore. The prices are what they are... And people already get a single Shotgun, too. Therefore, their price relative to those of Cannons is sort of moot.

The prices are slightly broken, I understand that. But if they are to be revamped, I suggest we leave it to the mods, who have a much more thorough understanding of the board's physics.
Question to all of you.

Okay, I'm thinking of making a Navi change, and I'm in the midst of a virus battle. If I really do decide to switch, could I make my last post with my old Navi a super godmodey post where he becomes infected by a virus (Zetsumei Angel, an evil NPC of mine), pwnz0rs all the viruses with one attack, then flys off, just to make it memoriable?
Wait, didn't Infinity already get infected by Zetsumei Angel?

Damn, this guy gets around.

I'll leave this to the staff, but really, you could just make a shift in perspective if they say no. Have Raven jack out, and start roleplaying with a new character. Very simple, very easy.

Well, that's an alternative, at least.
No, my persceptive is that Phoenix was infected with very trace amounts of Zetsumei when he was impaled through the chest by Zetsumei in Infinity's body, about six or so months before the point I started at.

Or I could just make Zetsumei Angel open a rip to Phoenix, say something like "I tried to give you the ultimate gift, and yet you ran from me? So be it, I shall make you one of my own now, on this spot," or something like that. Anyway, he activates the bit data of himself within Phoenix's body, makes him go mad, and then does the awesome pwnz0rs at the virii before flying off to become a NetKiller like Zetsumei.
Why is the required level for an e-mail address 5? Why is this apparently logical? Why does it NEED a required level? If everyone just had one, it'd be MUCH easier to talk to each other.
Well, it was a pain in the ass when newbies kept asking for them then never using them, but I guess now that the number of admin-access people we have is approaching the second digit...
