Well, I looked around for it, and I noticed that so far, literally the only things that change with a level 1 cross is this:

Now I'm not complaining, because that's reasonable, but what gets me is that there's no mention of either losing your original element or doing anything whatsoever with subtype. It's not just there; nowhere in any of the subtype rules can it be found. Honestly, it doesn't even say you get a new element; you just get the elemental bonuses with none of the weaknesses. So basically, with SeraphimCross, MeleeMan would still be Fire and Breaking only with boosts to non-elemental chips, which doesn't sound like the original intention.

The reason I'm confused is that most people tell me that they thought you gained the other navi's element and got to choose whether or not to adopt the subtype; the replaced subtype and element were lost while the Cross was in use. Is this somewhere in the rules that I'm not seeing?

I probably won't try it though (I have a flashier, but less effective plan to get around the guard), just wondering...

Well...Perhaps? In the FF games, spells could only be reflected once. In MMBN....I've never encountered than particular aspect of then Guard Chip. I assume that one could if they were skilled enough. I mean, it isn't like a reflected shot gains any special properties that make it unblockable.

That is because the VABCA is closed and no one cares about updating it.

@ Knight: I've been in that kind of situation repeatedly.

In the MMBN sreies, it was possible to attack someone, have them guard-reflect it, then reflecti the attack back again. However, they could not respond once again as their guard had not dissipated yet, but had already been used.

Toss Anti-Dmg into the mix, and all bets are off though....

Ahh, what was that NCP that gave you B<= Anti-Damage?

I know that ShadowSoul was annoying as hell because of it.

How many places can you be in at one time? Most sites allow you to be in more than one place at a time, so I was wondering what this site has to say about that.

You can only be in one place at one time just like real life. However, your Navi can be somewhere else, though there is a penalty for that if the Navi is in battle, and you walk off.

SoulCross: Actually, iunno.
GMO: Maybe, if you want it to be all dramatic and stuff. Probably not.
