With a wink and a bow, the blue navi faded out of the net, leaving the lizard behind.

Reeling back a bit from the hit she took, she hams it up when she notices Dragonierman move in to flank. "You hit me you vacuous virus! But I see right through you! And I see -"She raises her widesword up to the Misty. "That guy behind you with a sword!" she shouts while making a quick slash with the last charge of her sword.

Dashing back, she forms a small syringe in her hand and jabs it into her leg. The pain from the Misty's attack vanished quickly.

Despite him not giving any sign about that he was coming, Maribel heard the indelicate clopping of Dragonierman's movements coming closer to her. She turned and quickly noticed the data in his outstretched hand. Reaching out to meet him, she grabbed the data with the tips of her fingers. Both navi's quickly turned back to their respective foes.

As she felt the data, she understood the weapons type and properties. Squeezing the data into her fist, a large blade erupted from her hand. It looked more like a giant...knife...than the widesword it was supposed to be. All military Navis knew close quarters combat with knives. Swords? Not so much. So when it came time to summon her weapon, she defaulted to a shape she knew.

Raising the blade at the misty that failed to envelope her, she hoped that the lizard was right. If not, she was going to look very silly slashing at thin air; not to mention be completely left open to assault. She then began to lash out with the large knife, slicing both at it and its cousin near by, hoping that her blade would find something to strike in the loosely knit forms of the Mistys.

Positioning herself so that Dragonierman was between her and the Skeeters, Maribel ran her fingers over the Magbomb for the 10th time since she had finished the trade. In her hands it looked like a regular hand grenade, but instead of the olive drab finish that one would find on real grenades, this net version was held a blue and yellow sparkle on the inside that shown through the casing. It tingled the Aqua Navi's fingers as she held it.

Eying the Marina's in the sea, she held the Magbomb tightly with one hand and pulled the pin with the other. Not trusting her arm, she drew her leg back, carefully planned her punt and dropped the explosive. Kicking with the flat of her foot, she launched the Magbomb towards the Sea terrain containing the Marina viruses.

Trusting the lizard to keep her back safe from the skeeters, she focuses her attention on the Marina's and Misty's, ready to avoid whatever the throw at her.

Marry had always wanted to play with bomb chips, so she was quite excited about her trade. Why on earth anyone would want to flop around in the mud was beyond her, so she was also glad to have it out of her hands, lest Russel try to make her use it. She watched Dragonierman seemingly stretch his back before asking if she'd like to continue on their current path.

"Yeah, let's go~ We got this!" Her enthusiasm bubbled over as she danced a bit and made gestures of cheering and flexing.

After the fight, Maribel looked around a bit at the mess caused by the Mudfeesh.

"They're dirrttyyyyy~ All this mud! What an abomination of pristine and clean water." A look of utter disgust crossed her face. She kicked around at the earth around the mud, trying to cover it up an dry it out. As she kicked, the Mudflop1 chip popped out, causing her to be even more revolted. Obviously it had been left behind for her, a final taunting by the dirty and flopping Mudfeesh. In her revulsion, she barely noticed the lizards voice. Turning to him, she saw that Dragonierman was pointing at the chip in her hand while offering another with his other hand.

"Take it!" She shouted as she threw the Mudflop1 chip at the large reptilian Navi while grabbing the MagBomb1 with her other hand.

Maribel darted around nimbly while Dragonierman launched his attack at the remaining foes. After a moment of dodging, she decided to add in her own shots, hoping not to hit the raging lizard in the process.

Picking the Mudfeesh as her target, she slips a large, pointed round into her rifle.

She breathed deeply and fired her shot, then quickly went back to moving around the battlefield, ready to take on what skillful survive is left after the volley.

Despite DragonierMan's show of force, some of the viruses remained completely unscathed. From her vantage point, the little blue navi raised her rifle. Her eye's flitted between the remaining combatants. She slid a cartridge with a blunted end into the breach of her weapon, never losing her concentration.

"Mud...I hate the mud...I hate the way these things move...It's so Dirty! Creepy!" She squealed a bit as she pulled the trigger, sending the heavy round towards the flopping Feesh that just bounced off of Dragoniers body plating.

As steam billowed up from the barrel of her rifle, she found her new bubbler chip being uploaded to her. Apparently Russel was all for doing as much damage as possible this time. She thought this was a little strange, since usually he's all about being careful. But it's something new to play with, so she slotted it into her buster rifle.

This time, she lined up the Dharmas in her sights. Before firing, she bit her lip in thought for a second, she then started bellowing in a somewhat of a piratey/hip hoppy beat:

"My Cannons always loaded~ Makin' all yo' s[bleep] exploded~"

More singing; More shooting.

Figuring that it would be better to wait and see how things turn out this time instead of wasting ammunition on shooting corpses, Marry shoulders her rifle and maneuvers into a better position. If anything was still moving after the splashes caused the lizards actions calm, she would be the first to know and she would be ready to put the viruses down.

Mulling Destin's words over in his head, Russel shakes his head some, nods some, then shrugs.

"Well, the two personalities seem pretty distinct. And they seem to get along with one another. The other personality is opening up to me some more too, so every now and then she'll talk to me through various...means...Marry seems to be wandering off again." Russel stopped abruptly and focused on his Navi, who apparently had decided that it was time to move forward.

"Com'on Mr. Lizard, stop dragging your heals~" she said as she began to move through the mist blanketed waters.

Still chuckling, Russel answers Destin's chat request.

"Heh heh...Ah yeah. That's basically it. I didn't know when I first had her. She just seemed like somewhat of a..umm....space cadet. She'd talk like she was having a conversation with someone that wasn't there. But she's always had an uncanny awareness for someone that doesn't seem to pay attention at all. I didn't understand this until I took her battling.

"That was when I the other Maribel came out. She seems a bit more...combat oriented one might say? And it's not like she concentrates more, but she actually changes. Her voice changes, her demeanor changes - I can't describe it outside of saying she has split personalities. One a spacey, bubbly girl. The other seems to be an actual soldier. Which I think is what is happening. She is supposed to be a military Navi." Russel quited down, waiting for Destin to digest the information.

Meanwhile, the blue and black aqua navi was chatting at Dragonierman.

"No no~! Really! The lizard look suits him....Noooo~ He looks a little off, but really he's just clever....Uh-huh. No no, look. Most people wouldn't get it, but I do. This'll go well. I swear. He's not a bad guy, I've heard a lot about him. He went by a different name but now he's...uhh..." She looks at the other navi with a concerned face. After a moment she brightens up. "Dragony-man! He's perfectly fine."

She smiles at Dragonierman and gazes at him with eyes of respect.

"And yes, if he slows us down, you can wipe the floor with him."

"Hiii guyyyy." The spacey navi looked up at the large lizard. She then cocked her head to the side and looked like she was intently listening to something for a bit.

After a moment, both Russel and Marry started laughing.

As Dragonierman dashed into the waters screaming in rage, Marry loaded the shotgun chip that Russel had just sent her. Not really knowing what to do to help the furious lizard, she dashed further into the onsen waters in order to get a better look at the remaining viruses. Raising her rifle, she took aim through the spray of droplets left in Dragoneir's wake.

She lined up the Piranha's in her sites (obviously, since they're almost as creepy as the Shrimpy). She then noticed how good the onsen water felt on her feet. This caused her to join in with Dragoniers shouting.

The sound of her shouting 'Woooooo yeah!' combined with the raging drake drowned out the sound of her rifle.

The conversation, having been interrupted by interloping viruses, would have to wait. The brusque lizard man seemed to change moods quickly, going from being mostly congenial (if not creepy) to full blown battle mode. She heard him mumble something as he shoved the data of a chip into her hand.

As Marry took the slip of code that the scaled navi handed her, she realized that it was a chip for protection. She activated it as she leapt back behind him. Thinking that he probably wasn't a bad guy for wanting to help her out some, she figured she could lend a helping hand. Raising her rifle, she watched the shots that Dragonier was firing into the group of viruses, trying to find a target.

"That shrimp thing moves like a jellyfish. So gross!" Marry puffed her cheeks out pretending to be sick as she slid a blunted round made of congealed water into her rifle. She had found her target and fired the shot quickly before the electric bomb went off.

"You stand before me, I will defeat you~ You will not break me, I will not take you~" The Aqua navi, undaunted by the creepiness of the navi grinning through the mists, continued singing. She ignored his existence until, raising her finger to the new comer, she finishes the refrain:

"Woah oh oh, powdered milk man! Woah oh oh, you must die!"

She promptly continued on with the song. Meanwhile, Russel had noticed what was probably Destin's navi. He opened a window in order to talk privately to his old student and fiendishly lizard like navigator.

"I'm hoping you're Destin, otherwise we may be in trouble." The tone in his voice, didn't match what he was saying. Russel sounded hardly worried.

[Azure has politely asked me to butt in at this point.]

"Don't hide the treasures you've found in a hole in the ground~"

In the veil of mist billowing up from the hot springs, the sounds of singing and gentle splashing echoes through the area.

"How 'bout the tree back your house where the-
Owls go!"
"Owls go!"

Russel had become accustomed to Maribel copying his music collection. He had also decided that she had a nice voice and started using her as an A Capella mp3 player.
The little aqua navi felt at home in the onsen water, the heated liquid warming and calming her. Despite wearing thick clothing, the water wicked off it leaving her as dry as she wanted to be.

"Attic in a basement with a knife serrated, I'll protect you~"

Destin had told them to meet his Navi here, so Marry and Russel waited and sang. They had heard sounds of fighting off in the distance a bit earlier, but after a large explosion, it had all gone silent.

"It's not to late to change your mind. The grass gets greener when you get to the finish line~"

And they waited.

Hey Destin, it's your old professor! Anyway, you had told me about the things you can do with Navi's before and I finally got around to doing something with mine. She's a little...broken(?) though. Or are they all kind of kooky? I figured I could show her to you and you could see her in action. Also, maybe your Navi would be able to tell whats going on with her. I'm guessing they can do things like that. This tech is a little much for me, but I've been reading more on it lately.

First off, I'm dropping Aqua Cartridge and Flack Jacket. The first ones old hat and the second one was used only once. They are to be replaced by newer versions of Aqua Cartridge. When I have more points, I'll feel like giving things fancier names, but for the moment here is how I'd like them to look:

Aqua Cartridge - Hard Water
1TCD
Break + 20 Aqua, Shot type - 40 Sig Points
Maribel places a higher calibur version of her Aqua Cartridge in her rifle. The water round in this one is supposedly made of hard water.

Aqua Cartridge - Heavy Water
2 TCD
Stun + 30 Aqua, Shot type - 60 Sig points
Maribel places a shotgun cartridge round filled with heavey water into her rifle. Heavy water is denser than normal water by 11%, allowing this round to knock the breath out of anyone hit by it. It's probably not radioactive.

This gives me a full count of 100 Sig points. Let me know if they're any issues.

"Uhh, thanks," Russel mumbled, trying to hide his aw at the shopkeeper's dexterity. "There's a manual for this, right? Err, never mind, I think I can figure it out." He turns and starts to walk out of the store. A little voice squeaks out from his PET. "That was cool~".

Russel nodded as he opened the shop door and headed back out into the busy streets.
