DragonierMan chuckled as the viruses goaded themselves to action. He flexed sharp talons as they got ready. His face slowly enveloped in gray scales as he stood there, plating over his pale skin. His visor had not been lowered so everyone could see his canines grinning. A pearl smile behind a scaled mask. His cloak ruffled. Ripples lapped at his boots as he placed one heavy foot on top of the water. The surface held his weight as if it were made of solid earth. The other foot followed, dripping as it also took its place on top of the water's surface.
The navi's body swayed a bit as it held to the motion of the waves before calming to a glassy tranquility. The viruses would be able to feel the danger emanating from him. His bestial nature almost visibly outlined him, tangible. The air wavered around the navi like a mirage. His hands came to his side, level with his waist. He chuckled again as he cupped his hands together in a tight embrace. Slowly, he drew them apart. His eyes never wandered from the enemy before him, watching their movements, studying. A soft crackling and a flicker of light formed between his two hands. The energy cascaded outwards quickly, forming a larger pale sphere between his fingers. The crackling got louder and louder, until it drowned out the chuckling.
He barked as he hurled the crackling orb at the Larp. The sphere of energy cut across the field, spraying water everywhere as it flew. When the trajectile was about to strike its target, it bloomed. The force of the concussive blast scooped the shallow water from its basin and scattered it to the eight winds. The light was blinding. The roiling energies did not burn as they spread, but still consumed all in their path.
And just as it started, it ended. A light mist settled over the land as the scattered droplets came back down, covering the area in rain for a brief moment. But the water did not still as the dragon charged over it, shoulder first. The same energies the navi had thrown not a moment earlier had coalesced about him, forming a burning shield. He was unheeded as water bent around him, plowing through terrain and viral hordes alike. His inner fire powering his way through any wounds he could suffer, giving him unnatural strength.
Which he put to use now that he was at point-blank range. Twisting to a stop, the pearl gates of his fanged mouth opened and spewed forth bolts of white fire. Once, than twice he spat the blazing arrows at one Magneaker. Turning his head, another two blasts were loosed at the second Magneaker. It was clear that the first of each shot was the stronger when struck, piercing through to strike the water and coal behind, sending up tiny waves and clouds of embers.
DragonierMan surveyed the damage as he closed his mouth, a wisp of smoke curling from his lips. If anything remained after that display of his power, he would be set on guard. Anything that could survive that was worthy of a second round. He cracked his fingers and opened his stance, holding his arms out to catch a charging virus or bat away pitiful attacks. wounds he had suffered would start to close.
