Onsen madness.

After the fight, Maribel looked around a bit at the mess caused by the Mudfeesh.

"They're dirrttyyyyy~ All this mud! What an abomination of pristine and clean water." A look of utter disgust crossed her face. She kicked around at the earth around the mud, trying to cover it up an dry it out. As she kicked, the Mudflop1 chip popped out, causing her to be even more revolted. Obviously it had been left behind for her, a final taunting by the dirty and flopping Mudfeesh. In her revulsion, she barely noticed the lizards voice. Turning to him, she saw that Dragonierman was pointing at the chip in her hand while offering another with his other hand.

"Take it!" She shouted as she threw the Mudflop1 chip at the large reptilian Navi while grabbing the MagBomb1 with her other hand.

Time sort of stood still for a moment as the data transferred between the two navis. It seemed like days before they moved again. When they did, they both were holding the others' battlechip, now belonging to them. Destin wasn't even paying attention to the whole exchange, as he was busy planning for how to best use the money to help his navi. DragonierMan smiled as he crammed the data into one of his many belt pouches. He swiveled a bit to scan the area around him.

"So... Want to cause more mayhem?"

He asked Maribel with the same feral grin hidden behind his relatively unadorned faceplate. Maribel had still yet to see the man behind the mask. Of course DragonierMan was referring to deleting viruses and causing general destruction to the surrounding terrain. Something both of them seemed to like doing.
Marry had always wanted to play with bomb chips, so she was quite excited about her trade. Why on earth anyone would want to flop around in the mud was beyond her, so she was also glad to have it out of her hands, lest Russel try to make her use it. She watched Dragonierman seemingly stretch his back before asking if she'd like to continue on their current path.

"Yeah, let's go~ We got this!" Her enthusiasm bubbled over as she danced a bit and made gestures of cheering and flexing.

DragonierMan said as they both took off to go mess up viruses.

Dragonier and Maribel came across a narrow walkway that split two different waters away from one another. The left pool provided the cool, refreshing sea water while the right provided the famous Yoka onsen. Though such a place would've been paradise for any tourists, the two navis were here to bust some viruses.

To their surprise, however, groups of viruses emerged out from the water while a swarm of Skeeters blocked the navi's narrow path!

Positioning herself so that Dragonierman was between her and the Skeeters, Maribel ran her fingers over the Magbomb for the 10th time since she had finished the trade. In her hands it looked like a regular hand grenade, but instead of the olive drab finish that one would find on real grenades, this net version was held a blue and yellow sparkle on the inside that shown through the casing. It tingled the Aqua Navi's fingers as she held it.

Eying the Marina's in the sea, she held the Magbomb tightly with one hand and pulled the pin with the other. Not trusting her arm, she drew her leg back, carefully planned her punt and dropped the explosive. Kicking with the flat of her foot, she launched the Magbomb towards the Sea terrain containing the Marina viruses.

Trusting the lizard to keep her back safe from the skeeters, she focuses her attention on the Marina's and Misty's, ready to avoid whatever the throw at her.

Sea

-This Terrain type cannot co-exist with adjacent Sea Terrain. If any Sea Terrain exists in an adjacent panel, Onsen panels will change to Sea Terrain. Spliced Sea and Onsen terrain changes that directly touch are not possible.
-Exception: In Yoka Network, Sea Terrain that touches adjacent Onsen Terrain will convert into Onsen Terrain.
-Adds 100% Base Elec Damage.
-Deals Aqua Damage + Blast1 Blind when used w/ Panel Shot.

DragonierMan roared and dashed forward into the Skeeter swarm. A chromatic barrier of Null energy formed in front of him as he plowed across the thin strip of dry terrain. The warrior's exterior, plated itself in thorny metal scales that reflected the myriad of loud colors. His earlier fatigue faded to nothing more than a worthless memory as he drew upon his inner might to empower himself with draconic strength.

He flew through the viruses in a spacial pocket of death, drilling through the air, potentially deleting and/or scattering them to the winds. And as he continued his reckless, unheeded charge across the earthen ground he spread his arms to either side like great wings of muscle and metal. Energy collected in his palms until the light blinded and the crackling sound of the swirling eddies was audible to even the deaf. Taking a quick glance from side to side as he ran, in an effort to align himself between the two pools, one of sea and one of onsen, he smiled before unleashing this stored energy. The loud crack and boom of two relatively simultaneous shots rang out in the moist air, as he fired off twin gray-white bolts to his sides. The water parted and bloomed along the path of each shell.

This was followed quickly by two similarly timed explosions. The implosions of water to either side of DragonierMan might have been even enough to flood the divide, submerging the land and linking the two pools into one large pond. DragonierMan was still running though, shrugging off damage, so only a cursory glance over his shoulder and the lap of water at his heels would inform him of any change in the terrain.

Maribel started the battle off well, priming a grenade and punting it into the midst of the aquatic viruses. The blast engulfed them both, doing heavy damage and leaving them temporarily stunned. DragonierMan took a more direct route, tearing through the Skeeters with DashAttack and leaving two left afterward. The subsequent TankCannon blasts managed to eliminate both stunned Marinas and damage the ground beneath them, but the nigh-on formless Misty viruses were able to avoid the blast. One moved to envelop Maribel, but she got out of the way before it could do any damage.

"Those water viruses seem to be immune to direct attacks. Give Maribel this chip and finish off those swarms."

Destin ordered before DragonierMan ran in the other direction, toward Maribel. Through the swarms and over the beaten terrain. And once he got close enough, he reached out to hand her some battlechip data. It was a WideSword. It was nice and sharp.

"It's dangerous out here, use this."

DM then spun around toward the swarms and held out his hands as if to stop their advance. Power built up inside of him quickly, the raw energy bleeding out of the joints in his armor, collecting in his palms. The following unleashed hail of energy blasts poured out toward his foes. It was a bullet storm.

He then interposed himself between Maribel and the enemy. Daring them to harm her with a bestial roar and a clawed stance. His cloak billowing behind him.

Despite him not giving any sign about that he was coming, Maribel heard the indelicate clopping of Dragonierman's movements coming closer to her. She turned and quickly noticed the data in his outstretched hand. Reaching out to meet him, she grabbed the data with the tips of her fingers. Both navi's quickly turned back to their respective foes.

As she felt the data, she understood the weapons type and properties. Squeezing the data into her fist, a large blade erupted from her hand. It looked more like a giant...knife...than the widesword it was supposed to be. All military Navis knew close quarters combat with knives. Swords? Not so much. So when it came time to summon her weapon, she defaulted to a shape she knew.

Raising the blade at the misty that failed to envelope her, she hoped that the lizard was right. If not, she was going to look very silly slashing at thin air; not to mention be completely left open to assault. She then began to lash out with the large knife, slicing both at it and its cousin near by, hoping that her blade would find something to strike in the loosely knit forms of the Mistys.

As the two navis ran off to take their own targets, the viruses was also ready to fight back as well. The Skeeters went off to strike DragonierMan as he ran towards Maribel, but his layers of defenses was able to ward them off. The Mistys, however, was much more lucky as it was able to land a solid hit on Maribel with their steaming fist. [-30]

Dragonier's rapid fire had shot down the two skeeters with no effort...But Maribel's Widesword attack just didn't do the job as it was only able to take down one of the two Misty viruses.

DragonierMan renewed his defenses and drew forth his own glowing sword, moving to flank the Misty virus. He first attempted to thrust the blade deep into the center of the cloud while it was distracted. Failing that he grabbed the blade with both hands and slashed across the body of the virus in a wide arc, trying to separate the Misty's upper torso from its lower half. Then he performed an 'X-Slash' from the upper left to lower right, then from the upper right to the lower left. Hopefully one such sword stroke would find purchase.

Reeling back a bit from the hit she took, she hams it up when she notices Dragonierman move in to flank. "You hit me you vacuous virus! But I see right through you! And I see -"She raises her widesword up to the Misty. "That guy behind you with a sword!" she shouts while making a quick slash with the last charge of her sword.

Dashing back, she forms a small syringe in her hand and jabs it into her leg. The pain from the Misty's attack vanished quickly.

DragonierMan's hand glowed with an awesome power as he assimilated the MistConvergence1. It was also one of the chips that Destin wanted, so it worked out pretty well. Though he was also pleasantly surprised about the abundant zenny drops, for he had plenty of purchases planned out. He opened a vid-window to Russel as DragonierMan began flexing.

"So, how are you enjoying this little stroll? By the way what time is it?..."

He looked at his watch. It was golden in color, even though it wasn't actually made of any gold, and digital. It had the month and day, but not year, displayed in the upper corner. A band ran underneath that showed the day of the week (sun/mon/tues/etc). Under that was the time in hours, minutes, and seconds.

"Huh, it's been over an hour. Did you have anything planned for today? Just wondering if you had the time to continue."
'Yes, we must go! I have a feeling that something is going to come up and we might be out of communication range for a little while. Farewell, lizardman. Let's do this again some time~" Maribel answered in place of Russel, who had forgotten how to respond in line.

With a wink and a bow, the blue navi faded out of the net, leaving the lizard behind.

DragonierMan waved off the pretty girl. Then adjusted his gauntlets.

"Let's continue. I feel like we are getting close to a real opponent."

He said with a smirk as he plodded off to do more battle.

Venturing further into the Yoka network, DragonierMan quickly found himself meeting up with a few viruses that were probably just sort of hanging around before he got around to them. Some dumb-bell shaped Heavy rolled around the area. Upon spotting DragonierMan, they directed their movement towards him, obviously showing an intent to fight.

DragonierMan whipped his cloak away from his body with his right arm. It settled along his back and out of his line of fire as he brought his hands up and cupped them together. His skin shifted from its usual pale-pinkness to becoming as dark and gritty as coal. Static hissed and crackled as he collected energy in his palms until a sphere of blinding light formed between them. His eyes had turned red and the energy cascaded around him like it was a part of his aura of madness. His whiskers stood on end as he raised his hands toward the front of the virus column, leading his targets. He fired.

The bolt of light thundered forth from his gauntleted hands and sped across the field, kicking up a thin cloud of dust over where it passed low to the ground. It shimmered as it flew, intent on mass destruction. But already the hissing and crackling could be heard again as DragonierMan prepared another shot. It was then that the first energy shell had detonated close to the viral lines, spewing deadly Null energy everywhere.

The ground rocked by the explosion would get little pause as DragonierMan had released another bolt, aimed for the back of the viral lines. It was possible that the Heavy's would be scattering at this point, but it was no matter to the warrior gun-ho on their destruction. He would blast away their escape route, or catch them in the act of running. The explosion of the second energy shell was as temporarily deafening as the first.

He watched to see if their were any survivors of his overactive assault. Seeing some movement, whether an involuntary twitch of the dead or an actual live target, he bent his legs and charged. He leaned his weight into his left arm and shouldered the energy field before him like a lance. He tore through the wild as a bolt of energy himself, tearing up the ground and displacing wildlife like a plow.
