ResQ Bounty Hunt

A larger-than-normal beam of light crashed down to the network floor, revealing ResQ in her 12" tall ANGEL armor suite, with ParaMet riding on the ANGEL's left hip. [[i]You can't be serious...[/i]] ResQ thought to herself as her piercing amber eyes fell upon Wrangler and his rickety bounty stand. [[i]"This is it?"[/i]] she asked Alex over their intercom channel, which ParaMet was recently added to, sounding understandably skeptical. Alex admitted, it wasn't quite what he expected either, but the hat-wearing prog sitting at the stand clearly fit the description of Wrangler. [[color=green]"It wasn't quite what I had in mind either, but yes, that's Wrangler's stall. Ask for available NormalNet bounties, and he'll list out what's available. I've read the rewards are legit, and can be quite profitable."[/color]]

[[i]"*sigh* fine,"[/i]] she relented before easing the ANGEL towards the booth. The suit's movement was very smooth, showing a slightly feminine gait, with each foot moving slightly in front of the other and causing the hips to subtly sway. Each footfall made an almost bell-like ring due to the pointed shape of its feet. She stopped in front of the booth, and basically towered over it. ResQ's expression was one of suspicion, while her Metool-like companion looked alert, yet slightly wary. "Hello, we're looking to see what NormalNet bounties are available."
As ResQ asked for the bounties, the prog turned around and gave him a chipper "Howdy pardner! Normal nets? Can do! Gonna wrangle yerself up some varmints?" He asked as a list of viruses showed up on a piece of paper, complete with small monochrome pictures for the viruses.

ResQ raised an eyebrow as Wrangler seemed undeterred by having a mech standing over him, though it might make sense, running a business involving virus hunting would likely attract some scary characters. Otherwise, she was impressed by the Prog's selection. "Hm..." she remarked as she looked through the choices, then made her decision. "I'll go with the Solarite."

"Right," ResQ said as she looked over the reward tables. Alex was right, which she wouldn't publicly admit, but getting 50 kills in one trip would be quite the undertaking. Regardless, she reached down with her right hand, causing the ANGEL to do the same. She gently pinched the printed rewards paper between the thumb and pointer finger of the ANGEL's five-fingered manipulator, then brought it up to her face. She briefly unsynched her right arm with the ANGEL's, allowing her to pluck the paper from the ANGEL's hand with her own, then placed it in one of the pockets of her jumpsuit before resynching.

"Thanks," she concluded before turning the suit around and headed back towards the portal. [[color=green]"It looks like that virus is found in the Dentech and NAXA networks. Your choice as to which one you want to try,"[/color]] Alex commented over their intercom. ResQ briefly mulled it over; Dentech wasn't a bad location, but from what she remembered, NAXA was a bit more out of the way, and had plenty of juicy tech and data to "liberate." [[i]"We'll go with NAXA."[/i]]

[[color=green]"Fair enough, I'll coordinate the transfer. Stand by..."[/color]] Alex replied while setting up the link. A few seconds later, ResQ, ParaMet, and the ANGEL all beamed up and out of the network.
