Predator to Prey

Sylk made some lava and dove in before maneuvering to the Heavys, somewhat instinctively knowing where they were. She then performed a surprise attack on them, hitting both with her phoenixshot. One of the Megalians had followed her into the magma while the other seemed content to wait above ground. The Windbox also seemed to benefit from the random patches of sand in the area as a sandstorm began to brew.

Sylk's body floated with the crimson liquid, its warm embrace giving her a sense of security as she hid within its depths, as she plotted out her next action. From what she could tell, her previous attack may have been successful. She was quite pleased with how well this fight had started off, and she felt at ease within this sea of red. With her mind relaxed and her physical abilities at their best, the spider couldn't wait to move on to the next step. Unfortunately she would have to put it into action much sooner than she had hoped as one of the floating heads happened upon her territory.

Ohh, so you think you can escape the spider's web do you? Mmm, your cocky for a piece of prey aren't you. you'll just have to be next then~ Sylk stared down the virus as she had her little inner monologue moment, wanting to teach the poor little thing a lesson about moving around in her space as it pleased.

"Here, use this. It should pack enough of a punch to send it off. Just take your time and make sure it hits, there's no rush." Rei spoke out once again, getting into the mood for a battle. It was one of those more nostalgic moments, the feeling of working together again with a navi instead of just sending in the weaponry. Still, the feeling of making herself reliant was still buried deep within his head. Just one battle couldn't hurt, he figured. Without further delay, Rei quickly sent in the firehit1, which was followed by a download from Sylk.

The arachnid's body began to sway and flow in the lava as she channeled the fires yet again, around her body. Though the flames were significantly smaller than that of the phoenix and her "web", it was much more condensed, almost solid. As the flames bent to her will and surrounded her mid-right arm, the colors changed from a red to a blue as its intensity grew larger. With further concentration Sylk began to pull some of the excess from her right arm and add it to her mid left as well, creating two different coating of a blue blaze amongst her flesh. Keeping her focus strong as she faced her target, her body felt like it was at its peak condition, her right arm readied and storing power as she took an offense stance. With a quick swing, a fierce right hook materialized near the megalian only to be followed by a strong left uppercut, the burning arms matching Sylk's own as her motions cut through the liquid surrounding her.

Feeling that she had remained in the same spot for too long however, she quickly darted off to her side, in an attempt to avoid being hunted herself. After all, what kind of spider would allow itself to be out done by its prey.

Summary:

1) Take aim

2) Firehit1 (60 fire + 10 element bonus + impact + double attack) + Inner fire (10 strengthen) @ Megalien-FB

3) Firehit1 double attack (60 fire + 10 element bonus + impact) + viral touch (glitch passive) @ Megalien-FB

4) Dodge
Taking aim, Sylk launched a couple of precisely-aimed punches towards the Megalians. The punches hit dead-on, but did not manage to kill them straight away. Sylk's Viral Touch attack drifted its bug-inducing abilities over to one of the Megalians. Shortly after, the Megalian's head-form turned upside-down, as if something heavy was strapped to the top of its head. It seemed rather upset about this, and flew around crazily, ignoring Sylk for the time being. The submerged Megalian threw its head forward towards Sylk, but did nothing to satisfy its attacking urges as the spider floated away from the attack easily.

The Windbox continued its blowing thing, making use of the sand to make an even larger sandstorm.

The spider chuckled to herself as she opted to not give the megaliens any time to regroup, as she quickly went on the move again. Her crimsons eyes pierced through the blood red sea surrounding her body, taking note of the targets and their movements as she began to steady her breathing and focus her energies on the offense.

Mmm, you're just no fun. It really makes me... Angry

Sylk bared her fangs as the red waters swirled all around her body, a dark red forming in front of her as she began to motion her hands in the shape of an orb. As the orb began to grow larger and larger, it began to stretch and split into two now with three of sylk's arms focusing on each one. The energy began to flicker as it reached its maximum capacity, which made Sylk smile and she grasped each one with her upper set of arms, and pointed her left and right each at a different megalien. Suddenly the energy blasted forth like a beam, towards the targets, taking her time as to try and hit those dead on.

Hopefully with them out of the way, Sylk only had one last target left on her list; the silly little box that had been sitting on its own for who knows how long now. Sylk didn't exactly have any real reason to think she would enjoy killing it since it just sat there, but it had to be done none the less. The arachnid's body sped through the lava infested terrain, only to burst through the surface and back onto land. As the molten liquid showered back down onto the panels, Sylk began to rush forwards trying to get as close to the box as possible. The winds were strong, and it sent a chill down her spine as she felt it blow against her body. The warmth of the lava was slowly wearing off on her flesh as she got closer to her target, but she didn't mind too much. Once she destroyed the box her warmth would return one hundred percent. Attempting to get to her targets side, hoping that the wind would be less effective from that angle, Sylk materialized a large gatling gun on her lower right arm. Sticking it as close as she possibly could, and bracing herself with her left arm counterpart, she lets the bullets fly with a smirk.

Point Blank~ Was all that could be heard under the noise of 9 bullets firing rapidly, and the whir of the gun barrel.

Summary:

1) Take aim

2) ElementalRage2 (90 fire, up to three targets) @ megalien-FA, B

3) tactical movement - get close range to windbox

4) Machinegun1 (30 x 9) + inner fire + viral touch @ windbox
The megalians drifted around too erratically to possibly get a lock on both of them with the single attack. Instead of trying to hit the two of them together, Sylk arbitrarily chose one and steadied her focus. A flare of fiery rage scorched through the lava and struck the flipped Megalian, instantly deleting it. In that time, the other Megalian had managed to find a better vantage point behind her and gave Sylk a headbutt... In her butt... With its head.

She committed to finishing off the practically useless windbox and fired a barrage of random rounds, most of which were aimed well enough to heavily damage the virus. A sudden glitch seemed to take hold as the virus was finally destroyed from the inside out.

Sylk rubbed her ass as she glared towards the head floating in the water. She felt violated to a degree, but that emotion was a secondary thought. Her largest priority now was how she wanted to destroy the bastard virus. Sure there was no rea ldamage, but the fact she even let the virus touch her was enough to set her blood boiling.

I'm going to tear through that face of yours for that, got it?

Sylk took off towards the final opponent of the battle. Seeing as it was still under the molten terrain, she needed to make her way back into it. Picking up speed along the soil, she quickly dove back into the red waters. As the liquid surrounded her body, all eight eyes opened and went into a search for the megalian. She couldn't afford to let this one escape deletion again. The spider of course was being more careful this time, making sure to dodge if nessisary.

As her eyes caught hold of the virus, sylk's body soared through the lava as fast as she could. Her gaze didn't waver as she closed in, her fangs preped and ready to sink into the target. Her jaw slowly opened, her venomous poison dripping off her razor-sharp teeth. She hungered for revenge. She aimed to bite down on that head, regardless of the innuendos bound to follow. Pulling all six of her arms back, Sylk put all her power into delivering a strong blow to the face of the megalian shortly after. Not satisfied with only that attack the arachnid quickly followed up. Her upper right arm quickly formed a chip similar in fashion to a shotgun, dyed in a crimson color. Charging her own energy into the gun, she powered up the heatshot by a small ammount before letting the fiery shot ring out, hopefully ending the existance of her target.

Summary:

1) Submerge

2) dodge

3) Blazing Fang to Scorching Palm Combo - (take aim + 40 drain fire) + (30 fire + knockback + impact) + Busterlock @ Megalian-FB

4) Heatshot (40 fire + 10 + Spread 1) + inner Fire @ Megalian-FB
Sylk was fast but the Megalian proved to be faster as her melee combo weaved through the lava, hitting nothing. However, it stayed still just long enough to be struck by the Heatshot, which pulsed through the liquid like a crimson bubble. It wasn't strong enough to delete the Megalian but it was forced to resurface in an attempt to escape.

Sorry, but once you're in my web you're not allowed to leave alive~

Sylk grinned as she stared at the escaping virii, feeling as though she wasted too much time on it already. Slowly the spider extended all 6 of her arms as different types of data began to form over each. Sylk was about to unleash a mass of attacks to end this. The first two weapons to take shape were a pair of flamethrowers, one on each upper arm. Her own power coursed through the gun as its flames spewed forth with two heavy streams of fire at the megalian. Without much delay following, 3 more arms had been readied with a kunai to each. As the flames died down, Sylk twisted her body slightly whipping the blade forth through the crimson waters with as much force as possible. Finally the last arm held a simple guard1, its sturdy wall enough to make the virus regret trying to ram into her once more. It may have been overkill, but Sylk felt that this head resilience so far was too much of a hassle to go easy on the poor thing. The thought of its deletion made her fangs show from a twisted smile.

Ugh... that thing was hardly worth my time. I think we should go somewhere else...

The spider crawled out of the lava, the warm red liquid dripping from her body as her eyes gazed around. She wasn't exactly sure where to go, given her lack of experience on the net. Only one real idea came to her mind, as to decide this deliema. Let's just go to the net square. We can decide a new area there... and maybe i can find something cute to play with, heehee The spider bit her lip as she thought of various images and interactions she could have in the near future, though most wern't as innapropriate as she made it sound. Sylk was looking for attention, but the way she went about it didn't fit her true mentality it seemed. Perhaps she just hadn't gotten the chance to truely grow up yet. Lack of guidance was the biggest problem there.

Rei just sighed as the navi began to walk off on her own towards the gate, not bothering to stop her.

"just pick something you can survive in, ok?"

((to net square))
