DragonierMan renewed his defenses and continued to slash away at the last remaining Zemon. The navi's right hand flashed in front of him. Gutting the air with gleaming talons. Then he quickly stepped to his right as his left hand came up in a brutal uppercut. Claws rending in an effort to take the virus' head off. Then he elbowed forward with his raised arm, the metal bracer glistening, in an effort to destabilize his opponent's stance. Then stepped back a space to bring his right arm across again for another swipe at the viral midsection.

Engaging in extended close combat with the final Zemon, DragonierMan used his RageClaw to both strike and parry blows as he fought. In the end, he'd managed to sustain only one direct hit while the virus burst into a flurry of junk data. The Spikeys took potshots at him once again, but the attacks failed to penetrate his defenses. All they could do was damage his armor.

And then there were two. Two Spikeys. Ah, ah, ah!

DragonierMan had a hearty laugh as the air began to waver once more and his broken armored skin began regenerating. His belly rumbled with exuberance, and the deeper breaths of someone who had been physically active. Droplets of sweat running down his muscled form.

He held out his palm and the dampness on his form began to recede. The water was sucked right through the pores of his skin, leaving him dry within moments. Suddenly the sweat returned, leaking out of his hand and forming into an amorphous sphere. He then took aim at the lead Spikey, cocking his arm in a throwing gesture. Then he threw it overhand like a baseball.

The lukewarm orb flew through the air until it was within spitting distance of the viruses. Then it expanded out like a wave. Splashing clear liquid all over the place. If struck, the burning nature of the viruses would be extinguish.

The navi then moved around a little bit. He stepped one way, then another. But didn't move beyond a few panels. He was more concerned with keeping his eyes on his opponents. He then formed another liquid orb and took aim at the center of the second Spikey's crest. Then he whipped the ball at the viruses. Spraying another wave of thirst-quenching water all over the place.

With only the Spikeys left to be dealt with, DragonierMan took careful aim and launched a sort of water-bomb at the first virus. The attack's wide radius ensured that the Spikey could not escape. After that, DragonierMan stepped out of the way of the other Spikey's retaliatory attack and threw another ball of water, landing a direct hit and ending the battle.

"600? Good! One or two more battles and we are good for now." Destin said as DragonierMan wondered about the viral corpses, making sure they didn't move again. "Continue." And then DragonierMan continued to walk across the damp soil toward the next fight.

DragonierMan soon wandered into a wide field, sparsely dotted with trees. It seemed devoid of any threats, but as he began to walk toward it several kunai shot through the air and embedded themselves in the ground before him. Shortly after, several Genin dropped from the trees accompanied by a pair of spiders. At two other sections of the clearing, large clusters of brush began to move and revealed themselves as other viruses. Judging from their introduction, they were looking for a fight.

A bunch of viruses jumped down from the trees, all unknown to DragonierMan. Ninjas, spiders, and ... tribals? Instinctively he raised his defenses in preparation to ward off the viral attacks. Hard scales grew across his muscled form and the air permeated and solidified into a bubble of protection around him. And just for insurance he lifted his left arm in front of him, his metallic bracer turning a golden color. Quickly, the golden glow spread outward into a large disk shape, a shield to protect his forward arc.

"DragonierMan, be careful about those viruses with the bamboo spears. I have heard they teleport around, ambushing from the tall grass." Destin told his navi over the private chat. DragonierMan nodded and began to scan the foliage for signs of the Kilby viruses. A scabbard appeared, strapped across his back so it hung low on his waist. His right hand reached behind him to grip the hilt of the blade housed within. He shifted from one side to another, keeping a peripheral eye on the other viruses. Each step brought him twisting around the clearing in a carefully choreographed dance of the shield. His right hand pulled the blade an inch from its sheath.

Suddenly, he heard a rustle in the bushes. He leapt toward the sound and quickly unsheathed the rest of the blade, bringing it around in a graceful arc. The grass clipped along the arc as he swept the blade at the Kilby virus(es), scattering the debris to the four winds. The sweeping blade sent a wave of kinetic energy outward along its path, catching those the edge would miss with a cutting force.

Then he moved again, this time weaving through the tall grass towards the Spidys. He ducked out of the way of some spinning strands, feeling feather touches as they passed his face and arms. The spiders were already on their way to filling the air with webs, and it was debatable whether the navi was quick enough to dodge all the strands.

When he got as close as he could, he lashed out with the blade once more. Excess strands severed along the path of his blade, unable to find purchase as he swung at the spider virus(es). The crack of the kinetic energy wave sounded once more as the blade swept through the air, threshing more grasslands.

Things were sliced up pretty quickly as DragonierMan drew out his sword and shield, cleaving one of the Kilby in half. The Genin immediately retaliated with a hailstorm of Kunai knives. The blades stabbed themselves in his defenses, though they did not breach them. One of the knives got reflected back into them, dealing minimal damage. The surviving Kilby got into the act as well, attacking by flanking DragonierMan and lashing out some bamboo spears at him. Unfortunately, they were dodged effortlessly, and two Spider viruses met their death afterwards with another strike of his sword.

DragonierMan renewed his defenses and pressed the attack. His armored scales and distorted bubble expanded to full strength as he brought his blade around for a brutal double-handed swing at the revealed Kilby virus. The blade flashed through the air and reaped a wide swath, causing another cascade of grass clippings to go flying. The blade shattered at the end of the swing, sending a flurry of metallic shards everywhere. The last Kilby was about to be *sunglasses* killed. Yeaaaah!

He then dodge-rolled out of the way of the Genins' next kunai storm, dropping the broken blade in the grass behind him. He then weaved this way and that through the grass towards the viruses... like a ninja. He even did a sideways corkscrew-flip just to be sure. All of these acrobatic stunts were designed to get him close enough to the enemy without getting peppered to death. When he was as close as he could get to them, he took a deep breath, and broiled the viruses. A searing cone of roiling flames rolled out of his mouth, blasting the grasslands to ashes. The heat was pretty intense as he baptized the area in fire.

DragonierMan rushed at the final Kilby, cutting it clean in half before it had time to make a move while his defenses restored and another set of Kunai bounced off him. He then proceeded to move around and about while the Genin moved around the area quickly.

Taking a close inspection at when the most of them would come together, DragonierMan locked his sights and sent out a burst of flame from his mouth, deleting two viruses in an instant while covering the floor with boiling lava.

Another set of Kunai picked at his armor as one Genin remained, twirling its weapons.

DragonierMan opened his maw once more and breathed a gout of steaming water at the last remaining virus, flooding the battlefield. Wave after wave of puking water rapidly flowed at the enemy, drenching the landscape and causing explosions where the lava cooled. Debris from the carnage swept along with the river, turning it darker and clogging it with half-disintegrated corpses and broken and scattered armaments.

The navi then shifted to the side of the river bank and dashed up it toward the Genin. He sped along the damp edge for a second and then turned and veered at a sharp angle right over the raging river and at the ninja, where he proceeded to plow right over the virus (assuming it was still there). He spun around as he passed the virus, his boots digging into the soft earth to gain traction. Then he ran right back at the Genin, potentially colliding into the virus' back.

Assuming anything hit the virus would most likely mortally wound it, DragonierMan shoved his hand at the virus, attempting to tip the creature over onto its face/back. Then he brought his face to the sky, spread his talons, and gave a triumphant, full-bodied roar. Shaking the foundation of the world... to the edge of the clearing.
