Lucia was thrilled with her renewed vigor as well as the new found light in the room, already she was starting to really try and get a look at the darkened area surrounding the trumpet that seemed to be causing endless annoyances for them all. Still she let out a squeal of surprise when the floating spook appeared before her and gave off its laughter. She'd have fallen back had it not been for, of all things, the Dominerd to come to her rescue. For moment she watched as the monolith crush down the virus, giving it a smile and faint wave with soft, "Thank you sweetie!" Letting her gaze back into the darkness again.
"Ugh, it's no good Master, the soundie thing is protected all around!"
"Protected, or trapped. Lucia, the ceiling above it. Take it out and trap it under the rubble, it should buy you all some time."
Navi glanced above the sounding virus, which was now just looking on after it's call to arms. With a huff navi heft up the great sword and set her sights high. Faint growl passed through her lips as the breath seemed to take on life of its own and swirled around the fiery navi. The breeze set her flames burning brighter for briefest of moments, then as the flows started to reach their twisting apex her free hand thrust forth. Sending a spiraling blast of air towards the sound caller before she blasted off from the carpeted ground. Sailing towards the floors above, hefting blade in hand, it was only as her flight reached near her goal as she gave faint toss of the blade. Drawing arms high above her head in preparation the navi paused, waiting for the snap of chip and the data to begin sparkling in, forming long glowing hilt which quickly grew upwards before giant sledge formed at it'd top. It was just in time as the navi started to drift down, using the highest point in her leap to bring the hammer down, literally. Heavy sledge was planned to smash into the second floor's terrace above the Harbinger, hoping her earlier gust would keep it trapped long enough for the blow to do its job and send a rain of destruction down upon it.
Just as quickly as her hammer had formed, it vanishes in a burst of digital dust and hand reached out to catch sword once more in her quick decent to the floor below. No sooner had her bare toes touched down, a new light sparked from about the navi. As the fiery blaze started to become overshadowed by brilliant white glow. Shining forth until finally only the shadowy silhouette of the navi remained within.
The shining glow seemed to begin a faint shift as bands of light started to curl and draw back towards her, almost like ribbons of light they started to curl and spin themselves about navi's legs and thighs, Climbing higher as they pass over hips and conceal the curves of her youthful frame. Higher they spun, wrapping about midriff and chest, for the briefest of moments the truth of her former attire was revealed as the ribbons curled over the curves of her chest, which seemed to expand ever so slightly, revealing themselves as the true B's they really were. The glow about her ankles quickly started to darken as the ribbons curled about the navi's neck and soon set themselves wrapping around her arms. That beautiful glow was soon overtaken as the deep black of new bodysuit was left behind.
Second wave of light collapsed down upon her, forming glowing layer of clothing, soon it started to shrink and part as light seemed to explode away, leaving behind the royal blue frock, the tails of which hung low, easily covering the curves of hips and thighs. As the first, more layers fell upon the navi, forming in shattering light a silver, well shined breastplate, marred only by the burning tower set upon its center. Armor was joined by plates forming about the navi's shoulders until finally the glow was starting to fully fall about her. Her once blazing hair set a glow as the heavy blade in hand started to slowly drift to pieces as if caught by the wind. Converting itself down to reveal thin, sharp rapier that seemed hidden within the larger blade. With quick snap of her wrist, Lucia presented and tested the new blade with slight flicks back and forth, only to draw it up and being easing it down into the newly formed crimson sheath at her hip. Locking into place with soft tap as navi turned her head, giving her new crimson locks a sway about her before finally hair seemed to tame itself and settle about her shoulders.
With change finally completed Lucia stood, looking more the seasoned warrior befitting her age only faintly glowing orb remained from her change, acting as thin barrier. Turning her sights to her fellows upon the battlefield to watch their fare, her heightened senses at the ready to give quick move should her transformation draw unwanted attention.

SINNBAD discarded his ruined shield, and summoned a Guard1 in its place. The knightly Navi, now equipped with a fresh shield, summoned a blunderbuss to his free hand and wheeled upon the new viral threat. He saw that the Ghost was still drawing in the photons from every nearby light source and had thus greatly increased the intensity of its glow while his back had been turned. SINNBAD quickly raised the antique shotgun, pointed the business end at the left-most Swordy in the skirmishing line, and immediately pulled the trigger. The resulting scatter shot flew into the zone of darkness, and tagged both the Swordy and the nearby Ghost. Both targets recoiled, with the Ghost casting off a dense dusting of what appeared to be glowing flecks of light as its amassed glow abruptly dimmed to half of its previous intensity.
The lighting situation suddenly improved dramatically as SINNBAD spun the blunderbuss in his hand while he shifted his aim to the third virus in the vanguard's line. (The Ghost was apparently no longer drawing in the light from its surroundings.) He cocked the hammer as the weapon spun back around, and pulled the trigger a second time as the barrel came into line. The spray of projectiles nailed the Swordy, then went on to strike the bulbous Raingear floating behind it. The Swordy nearest the Ghost took this opportunity to strike at the apparition with its ElecSword, only to have the blade rebound harmlessly off of some sort of previously invisible defensive field that quickly returned to its invisible state after deflecting the blow.
SINNBAD was busy shifting his aim towards the lead Raingear when a beam of energy suddenly shot down at him from somewhere above the Swordy viruses. The knightly Navi's Guard1 took the hit, stopping the beam before it could touch him. The shield responded with a counter beam that instantly struck the crystal-ball-like body of the attacking Maru-01, shattered it, and deleted the virus immediately. This gave SINNBAD the opportunity to fire off his third shotgun blast at his chosen target. The scatter shot struck the Swordy-E that was standing between the Navi and the Raingear before it went on to hit the Aqua virus as well. The virus opened it's gaping maw, and prepared to--
The Ghost lost its glow entirely as it suddenly launched a small, brightly glowing projectile at the second Swordy-E. The moment the bolt of light hit the virus, it burst into a flameless, spherical explosion that quickly engulfed most of the virus group as well as the Ghost itself. All hell broke loose as everything caught within the blast-zone was launched into the air in all directions as if shot from a cannon. The Swordy the bolt had struck, as well as both Raingears behind it were propelled backwards through the entryway and out into the stormy night. The Swordy-E to the left flew sideways off into the darkness, where it thudded heavily against a wall before crashing belatedly to the ground. The Swordy-E to the right was launched into another Swordy-E that had been standing next to it. As the two Swordies collided, the former bounced into the air and sailed off into the shadows to the right before hitting the floor off in the darkness somewhere. The latter hit the floor, dropped its sword, and rolled a few panels before it finally crashed into the base of a pillar and came to a stop. The group of Maru-01 viruses that had been hovering overhead were shot straight up into the darkness by the blast, and were summarily shattered against the ceiling high above.
The Ghost itself was sent hurtling backwards through the air towards the back wall. It's form was little more than a darkened blur as it shot out of the blast and quickly out of view as it sailed high over SINNBAD's head. In the wake of the attack's fading light, nothing now stood between SINNBAD and the door leading outside.
----
Meanwhile, Lucia prepared to set her operator's plan to bury the brassy virus in motion. The fiery Navi summoned a gust of wind that she used to blast the virus, pinning it against the back wall as she dashed forth. The surprised virus was not given a chance to catch its breath before the on-rushing gale rendered its musical ability useless. With the virus pinned and temporarily silenced, Lucia summoned a second burst of wind as she prepared to leap into the air. As her feet left the ground, an updraft formed to carry her high into the air above.
At the apex of her jump, Lucia raised her hands above her head and summoned the BigHammer's sledge to fill them. As she at-last fell towards the ground, the fiery Navi brought the hammer down for all she was worth. Heavy metal met stone as the hammer struck the small outcropping that was all that remained of the second story terrace. The force of the blow caused the stone slab to crack where it joined the wall, and tilt downwards slightly. However, it did not give way.
Not immediately, that is....
Lucia landed solidly upon the now-slanted stone terrace as she banished the hammer, and caused the slab to tilt very slightly downwards. It still did not fall. With the plan seemingly on the brink of failure, Lucia shifted into the armored form of SINNBADCross. As soon as her transformation was complete, the soft, pebbly sound of stone crumbling accompanied a gradual downward shift of the terrace. A loud snap later and the entire platform gave way beneath Lucia's feet as slab and Navi fell to the floor below.
A shrill musical blast rang out from below as the Harbinger virus realized it was about to become a pancake. The wind pinning it to the wall had died with Lucia's transformation, and the now-free virus hopped forward frantically in an attempt to escape the inevitable. It failed. The virus dove forward as more than a ton of solid stone crashed down upon its lower body, pinning it to the floor. It squeaked when Lucia landed upon the stone slab a moment later, signaling the fact that it was somehow still alive.
Before Lucia managed to stand up from her landing, a bright burst of light (somewhat reminiscent of a camera flash) flashed from somewhere across the room. As Lucia was facing the back wall, she got to see her silhouette painted across the bare stone before her very briefly. A few seconds after the flash of light, something thudded solidly against the wall somewhere above Lucia. She instinctively stepped to the right as whatever it was fell to the floor amid the rustle of fabric somewhere to the warrior's left. She looked in that direction just in time to see a wavering silhouette crash into the top of the left-side pile of rubble. A faint, muffled-sounding, and plaintive groan issued from the top of the pile a second or two before the featureless silhouette of someone wearing a hooded cloak rose into view--
-- Only to fall to the ground again as an angry musical "BLAT" sent a sonic wave blasting through the space the shadowy figure had previously occupied. The sound waves blasted a hole in the wall upon impact, then deflected back out into the room. The source of the attack was none other than the surprisingly resilient Harbinger virus, whose head and upper body were sticking out from under the rubble. That was apparently enough to let the tenacious thing attack, if not play music.

SINNBAD was awed by the awesome destructive display of the Ghost's attack. The enemy was flung everywhere by an apparently flameless explosion born from the very light the creature absorbed. Clearly this 'Ghost' was a formidable warrior.
Though even a formidable warrior was subject to physics. Following the flying Ghost's form with his eyes, SINN tracked the landing toward the end of the hall. However, his vision was obscured somewhat towards the back wall. Though you would have to be deaf to not hear the crushing sound of rubble stairways collapsing and blind to the rolling cloud of dust that rushed forth to envelop the knight.
As the dust settled, SINN breathed deeply. The air before him began to swelter and steam. Visible tendrils of mist trickled out of his visor as he continued his rhythmic breathing.
Suddenly, the air popped and sizzled. Sparks flared into being for an instant before vanishing into the smoke. Each display began to grow in intensity until solid flames burst forth from before his face.
As if breathing fire, a blazing conflagration erupted forth. The flames scoured the columns in an attempt to light the dim candles. The knight pivoted and swept his blazing breath back and forth across the back rows of columns, scorching the stone with its heat. It wasn't long before the breath ran out of steam.
He drew up his arms as the flames settled. He reached in front of him, into the ether. Pulling his hands out of pocket of the unknown, he drew forth a thin blade. The weapon he had drawn seemed to be a sword that was sectioned, as if it was a cake that was cut into thin pieces, but was still held together at the handle. As he brought it up with one hand, he curled it with the other, as if it was made of twine.
He approached the rubble at the back of the room, toward Lucia and the trapped Harbinger.
"Let us finish this battle, once and for all."
He stated before he whipped the sword out in front of him. The sword unwound quickly and lashed out at the lead virus' head with a resounding crack. It was as the whip delivered nine separate cuts out of the same attack. At least, that is what it would feel like to Harbinger if the rubble didn't block any of the strikes.
SINN then struck again, hoping to cause as much damage as possible to the trapped virus leader. This time the weapon frayed due to the jerking motion and gave a glimpse to its true nature. The cat-o'-nine would scar the landscape as it was whipped at Harbinger's exposed face.
After the second set of strikes, the frail Varitails became twisted. Some of the lesser strands even had become bent or had snapped clean off on the sharp rubble. SINN casted the weapon to the side as he had done with the broken shield.

As Lucia came to her second landing, with the fallen ceiling now floor she let out a soft breath and started to right herself. Catching sight of the sudden mirrored image of her shadow appear on the wall she quickly took step over and turned to see a shadowy wisp slam into the nearby wall.
Still she gave frown and slight shake of her head as she surrounded herself within glowing light, lasting but for a moment before the light faded away, leaving almost nothing behind save the slight trace of bubble about her. She then peered down at the ghost, "Self-sacrifice is not noble. Do try and remember that." Free hand rose to her lips, only briefly before hand turned flat and she blew softly towards the ghost.
It would take a brief moment before just what she did would become apparent, as faint wisps and tendrils of light seemed to flow across fingertips and start to drift through the air towards the phantom nearby. Every passing inch they slipped through the air the small wisps seemed to glow slightly brighter, until finally as they reached towards the ghost itself they seemed to be bright golden sparkles beginning to surround it. The effect would be known quickly as the light swirled about him and at least tried to life his spirits, if such a being had them still. Either way the action of her offered give was over and Lucia turned her sights towards the beast now pinned beneath the rubble beside her.
She watched, as if with slight glee as her knightly partner took his whip like weapon to the pinned creature, stepping carefully closer so she herself could draw in from atop the fallen ceiling. Hand reached to hilt at side and quickly withdrew the thin silvery blade that was her new weapon. Giving soft curl of wrist to set it in soft spin before the point dropped and navi gave firm thrust towards the trumpet'eer. First thrust was followed in quick succession by another before she seemed content to give it peace, at least for now.

First thrust was followed in quick succession by another before she seemed content to give it peace, at least for now.

The shadowy figure seemed to rise again somewhat unsteadily from the top of the pile of rubble when Lucia blew her healing mist towards it, and made a curious scraping sound as it did so. It wobbled in place a bit as the mist traveled towards it, and was standing there unmoving as the mist finally reached it. Strangely... the mist flowed past it and seemed to pool around within the shadow without having any effect upon the figure's HP reading, which now read something different as well. There was the sound of shifting pebbles from the pile of rubble....
SINNBAD summoned a wall of fire and immolated the two end pillars and the space between them. The flames rose around the pillars, lighting all sixteen torches at once and putting an end to the room's terrible lighting issues. With this act, all became clear as to why the figure was unaffected by the healing mist: It was not a Net creature. The 'Shadowy Figure', as it turned out, was a tall brass candle holder propping up a ragged scrap of carpet. The shadowy figure was nowhere to be seen, either by Lucia or SINNBAD.
As the firewall died out, SINNBAD stepped towards Harbinger. As the knightly Navi advanced, Lucia similarly turned her attention towards the virus. SINNBAD drew a chainsword, and was preparing to strike the virus when it turned it's head to point the cone of its trumpet at the stone slab... The virus let out another "BLAT" as it blasted the slab with sound waves. The moment the sonic blast hit the slab, it resonated and began to crack here and there. The slab then emitted a shockwave of dissonance in all directions that destroyed both Lucia's and SINNBAD's barriers. The virus itself remained unaffected by this.
SINNBAD managed to half-decently thrash the virus with the first use of his chain sword following the virii's sonic attack. Lucia took the opportunity to draw her own blade, and promptly stabbed the virus as well.
It didn't like that.
The Harbinger virus inhaled and cut loose with another "BLAT" as it again blasted the slab with a sonic shockwave. The sonic blast hit the slab, and immediately produced the same dissonant blast effect as before. SINNBAD's armor cracked as the piercing harmonics caused both Navis some pain and caused the slab to crumble to dust. Neither Navi could hear a thing for a few moments after the attack, as neither SINNBAD's much better executed chainsword strike nor Lucia's second sword stab made any noise.
Neither really had any attention to spare the unimportant figure moving quickly along the left wall as the resilient, and now clearly dangerous, Harbinger up-righted itself. It effortlessly rolled on the crystal ball it normally stood upon from laying on it's side to standing upright like some kind of weird viral punching doll. A very irritated looking punching doll, at that... It inhaled mightily, and suddenly began to emit waves of deep percussive bass that had no right to be coming from a glorified trumpet. The earth shook with increasing violence, and both Lucia and SINNBAD found themselves falling over on their backsides as they were unable to deal with an earthquake of this magnitude.
With both Navis knocked over, the Harbinger virus bounced up and down in place once or twice before bounding over SINNBAD's head like a pogo-stick. It landed on the other side, and bounced forward a panel or two before turning around to face the two warriors. It was going to put up a serious fight now.
-----
The Swordy that had been knocked over at the far end of the hall was now standing up once again, although it was unarmed at the moment. It looked at its hand, and realized it's disarmed state. This realization seemed to take the fight out of the virus as it sorta hunched over a bit and proceeded to stand there despondently.

Finally the tides of this battle seemed to have shifted for the Trio's favor with the beast pinned down. Though with her healing attempt cast and strikes given, she took glance up, only to see that her attempted aid was wasted on..a candlestick?
She was not able to pounder this for long as the first BLAT sent her current foundation shifting, thankfully the barrier that had been in place to render the random shards of stone harmless. Though that did little more then give brief warning before the second BLAT went off and sent her from her perch with its sonic blast.
If that wasn't enough the beast was now free and this battle's tide once more left their side, to make matters worse as she tried to ready herself to go on the offense, a trembling roar erupted from the trumpet monster that sent her stumbling back. Soft grunt was given as she slightly slumped against the stone walls. "Bastard!.."
From beyond Vincent watched on and new plan was beginning to form on how to deal with such a goliath. "Lucia, I have an ide-" "I'm busy!" navi responded with hiss as she started to rise slowly. Though his brow quirked in annoyance, her outburst was ignored, at least for the moment as operator made ready his plans and finished his train of thought. "Muzzle it."
The comment made the armor clad navi hesitate in action as the com lines switched to a more private nature. "What? How!?"
"I'll send the means, aim well and strike true, you have to strike hard to really plug the beast's mouth, don't miss." The plan was relayed between operator and navi as Lucia rose to a crouch and instead leapt forward towards the target of her lost heal. Trying to keep one eye upon the battlefield as a holy light brilliantly shone from her armor for a moment, sealing her within an aura of protection to help aid in what even she believed to be crazy.
Reaching out navi tried to grasp the remaining scraps of cloth as she landed and quickly turned towards her foe. "Yo, loudmouth! Your playing is off key, such horrible tones ya worthless hunk of last centuries music industry!" Taunt was given along with second leap, and while it might have been better suited for her former glory, a solid kick from the wall should be suffice to get her where she needed.
Loud click echoed through the real world as solid, spiked orb appeared just feet from the rising navi. Her form starting to arch and twist slightly in midair as crimson orbs locked upon her goal. "Alright blowhard, shut the hell up!" Navi gave one last jeering at the Harbinger as open palm quickly descending towards the floating orb, giving a loud Thump as hand connected with the spiked orb, soft echo of impact could be heard as the ball was sent flying to its goal, and while that goal was obviously the monster that stood before them, just where was another matter. The very place she'd seen fit to mock it, the bell that was its mouth.
Tight curl followed the strike as she landed hard then kicked off once again to follow the splitting ball towards their goal, opening to stuff the monster's throat as scraps of cloth was twirled and lifted before her. With soft breath Lucia sucked in her gut and threw her feet above her to force herself into a roundabout flip. Hoping beyond hope that she might catch the beast round its head and seal those 'corks made mutes' inside the Harbinger's mouth.
Summary:

SINNBAD rolled to the side behind one of the pillars. Standing back up, the ground shaky before him, he tried to regain his bearings. One hand held the column as the other reached to steady his head. The ringing from the sonic discharges were fading slowly, SINN's helmet acting as an amplifier. He had sustained only minor injuries, but who knew how long the battle would last.
As Lucia went on the offensive, SINN decided to tend to his aches and bruises. He would take the next dance. His gauntleted hands clasped his helmet and began to slide it off his head. His gray hair was sweat drenched and matted. He shook his head from side to side in order to clear it, scattering droplets of water everywhere.
He put one hand on his forehead to wipe away some water that had gotten into his eyes, and stroked it back across his hair. When he brought his hand back, he noticed a spot of blood. Setting his helmet down on the ground in front of him, he reached into his belt pouches again and removed another roll of bandages. He wrapped a bandanna of cloth around his forehead. Pulling it tight, the pressure would keep it set, a small blotch forming at the head wound. He then stooped down and took up his helmet again, putting it back on.
The light from the candles flickered off the knight's shining armor as the navi's skin dulled and scaled. SINN's symbol once more flared to life for an instant and surrounded the warrior in a field of barely-visible energy. The thin smoke coming off the candles curled around the semi-transparent bubble. The rocky surfaces of the navi's skin spread out, coming up through the joints like slime, and began to coat his halbruk in a similar pebbly substance. And rounded off the ensemble as the knight extended his arms to either side.
Once more the candles' flames wrapping upon him. This time their light gave birth as his left was clad in the protection of a mighty kite shield. The shining emblem of a solid castle adorned the surface, protecting the wearer from harm. His right held forth a graceful sabre. The steel forged straight and true, the edge sharp. The capable knight regained his fighting stance and marched out into the hall again, ready to face his monstrous enemy.

SINNBAD rolled to the side until he was beyond the last of the line of pillars, and in relative safety. He then stood up, and began waiting out the ringing in his ears. It was at this point, while resting with his back to the pillar, that SINNBAD caught sight of something moving to his left. A glance in that direction revealed someone in a light sandy yellow cloak sprinting towards the door-less archway he and Lucia were planning to explore earlier. As the individual had their hood up, no further details could be picked out.
SINNBAD's hearing returned, and the Navi could hear, yet again, the sound of Harbinger's trumpeting call... Or at least the end of it. The virus was pausing to inhale for a musical encore when Lucia's epithets and an odd thonk sound reached his ears. The trumpeting never resumed.
SINNBAD doffed his helmet, and began tending his wounds when he caught sight of a large flaming something as it burst from the archway. A quick glance, and he saw the cloaked figure leap back out of the path of what appeared to be a charging Spikey with a flame Swordy riding upon its back. The cloaked figure managed to avoid being trampled, but was summarily struck down mid-leap by a wide sweep of the Swordy's flaming blade as it rode past. The cloaked figure spun about, and crashed to the ground in a heap. The cloaked figure somehow survived the fatal blow and sat up on its knees to reveal hood had fallen down during its uncontrolled crash.
SINNBAD was in the process of restoring his defenses when a Holy Panel materialized beneath the cloaked figure. The cloaked figure then-- correction: cloaked female figure-- got shakily to her feet as her HP reading climbed sharply. She proceeded to very very quickly re adjust her cloak and flip her hood back up to conceal both her figure and long blonde hair. As soon as she was set, the cloak began to glow in the same manner as that of the 'Ghost', and a familiar sphere of light formed around her as the Holy Panel reverted back to simple stone flooring.
A fireball scorched in from between the pillars, and struck a wall of light that had interposed itself between the cloaked figure and the currently unseen Spikey EX. The flames dispersed upon impact, and the wall of light exacted sudden vengeance with a return laser beam that blinked into and out of existence in under a second. A double volley of tiny, glowing, comet-like projectiles shot from the now-moving 'Ghost' towards her attacker as SINNBAD turned away, drew his blade, and marched back to rejoin his own battle.
----
Lucia renewed her barrier defense as the Harbinger began to trumpet its summoning call, only louder and more insistent than before. She leaped for the candle holder as the virus played, and easily managed to grasp the ragged remains of the red carpet. She landed, carpet in hand, and turned towards the virus as the candle holder crashed to the floor next to her. Lucia yelled at the virus as she leaped into the air a second time, but this time towards it....
----
The Harbinger virus stopped trumpeting its call to arms for a moment to catch its breath as the illogically meddlesome female Navigator yelled at it. It looked up at the warrior Navi after hearing 'loudmnouth', and.... blinked its eyes. Harbinger was, frankly, a little confused at the sudden compliment offered by the pesky, currently airborne Navigator. However, the next words to come out of the Navi's mouth were unforgivable.
Harbinger wasn't about to stand for being told it was off-key. Not by this cretin. The virus inhaled sharply in preparation for blasting the hearing-impaired lout with a burst of noise it might better apprecia-- Thoomp! --te? Harbinger's head recoiled back a bit as a spongy green ball covered in needles jammed itself into his bell. The virus was so startled, it fired off the pulsar into the cactball, which immediately resonated and released a sonic blast in all directions. This didn't bother Harbinger much... But having a spiked ball crammed into its bell like a muffler did.
Harbinger started to shake its head back and forth while coughing at it as hard as the virus could in an effort to dislodge the cactball. Unfortunately this was not to be as the dastardly Navi fell upon it with a scrap of dirty old carpet, wrapped it over and around the virii's head, and tied it snugly in place. That meant... it couldn't play music anymore. All because of that Navi!
Harbinger flew into a panicked rage the moment it realized this....
----
Lucia was pulling the the ends of the knot taut when the virus suddenly righted itself, then bent over forwards. Lucia, still braced against the virus, was suddenly thrown like a sandbag over its head to land painfully on her back on the ground before the virus. A glance up was all it took to see the now-red-colored virus hop over to her with steam puffing from under the keys along it's previously brass body. It bent over backwards as if it were made of rubber, then whipped forwards and struck her defensive barrier with its cactball-stuffed bell like a hammer. The barrier stopped the blow, and the virus took damage from the attempt.... But it didn't seem to care.
She'd really pissed it off now.
Some distance beyond the Harbinger virus, there appeared to be a flaming Swordy riding a Spikey now as well, although their combined attention seemed to be focused elsewhere....

[x1] [x1] vs. [x1 (EX)] [x1 (EX)] [x1] [x1]
Harbinger was gagged...
It caught the advancing knight off-guard for a moment. But only a moment, as this was the perfect opportunity to strike. SINN's brow furrowed as he set upon the beast with his glowing sword. His footfalls rough against the hard stone floor as he quickly advanced. Beads of sweat clung to his forehead, his hair matted from exertion. As he neared, he drove his sword at Harbinger with a piercing strike. The zephyr parted and danced along the tip, flowing along the blade as it lanced. The knight's aim was below the trumpet snout, a measured blow that would not cut off the gag by accident.
The warrior pulled back after his initial strike. He reoriented quickly and unleashed a metered flurry of mighty swings. His armor creaked and the leather tightened as he set himself to the butcher's work. The blade sang as it drank the air. His muscles tensed and released on each forceful pulse. He flowed around his foe, repositioning himself from one swing to the next. He lashed upon the virus as if the blade were a whip. His motions mimicked his earlier vapid assault on the entrapped creature. Each stroke of his blade forceful and deliberate.
He had to make each strike count as he did not have the time to waste. His shield was raised, his defenses were compounded, and this gave him a sort of mock invulnerability. As such his attention was solely focused on rending his current enemy to shreds. Leaving the knight blind to all others. The lost visibility of his sturdy helmet also did not help.

Lucia was thrilled that she managed to do the first half of her tactic to successfully gag the beast, but she didn't let up yet as she made landing atop it and quickly pulled the cloth gag round to finish things off.
A shame she couldn't tie it off fast enough because as she yanked the cloth tight she felt the monster lurch forward and send her tumbling down, letting out a sharp cry of pain as she came against flooring again, dazed for a few moments. Looking up just in time to see the beast slam down against her barrier, shattering the glowing bubble with the strike.
Whatever dazed effect of being thrown free wore off quickly as navy curled herself around, and reached for her scabbard. Just as hand curled tightly around the hilt of her rapier a small orb appeared in the other. There was no need to glance down, the weight of it revealed what iron ball was. As the navi surrounded herself in a soft light to rebuild the barrier the Harbinger had just shattered, she threw forth her hand. The globe slowly coming to life in sparkling rage as the electrical ball of energy was tried to press against the monster.
Waiting only for the crackling ball of energy to leave her fingers, other hand gripped tightly and drew the sword from her side. Giving shining sweep forward to try and add slash to the dazzling attack she'd just given. But it was far too early to call it quits now, she wanted this beast dead, forcing herself to low crouch she kicked off, leaving only glowing imprint of foot behind.
That glow quickly grew outwards in all directions, lighting up the flooring for brief moments before the hard stone floor felt a little softer. As quickly seedlings spout up, layering the ground around in thin grass.
"Master, Heatshot please!" navi called out as sword was returned to sheath with soft click. Or was the click from the chip echoing its entry from the real world, as hand came back up, golden light slowly sprouted from behind her gloves, swirling round wrist and back down past hand to form a very simple, standard looking blunderbuss. Navi only took time to raise the weapon towards her foe before blasting forth its might fireball, hoping to toast this monster where it stood.

Lucia renewed her Blaze Aura and prepared to cast a Thunder1 as SINNBAD charged towards Harbinger. Lucia launched the thunderball at the brassy virus, only to watch as Harbinger hopped out of the way... And straight into reach of SINNBAD's blade. The thunderball passed the virus harmlessly, but SINNBAD's sword carved a chunk out of the virii's remaining HP.
Harbinger hopped forward as it drew in air through the various key holes and valves up and down its sides. As it landed, it coughed a musical blast into the prickly mute stuffed in its bell. The blast of sound hit the cactball, and pulsed outwards in all directions, carrying with it the sound of a single deep, resonant drum beat. The shockwave shattered SINNBAD's kite shield, and dispelled Lucia's barrier, but caused no injury to either Navigator.
The two warrior Navis responded to the attack with an uncoordinated sword assault upon Harbinger's being. SINNBAD slashed the virus first, driving it towards Lucia. She then slashed the virus while SINNBAD brought his blade around for the next cut. Harbinger bobbed towards SINNBAD as the knightly Navi delivered the third strike, which caused the virus to panic. It issue another percussive sonic blast that dispelled SINNBAD's barrier, but also hit Lucia fairly hard.
As Lucia backed off to scatter grass, Harbinger wheeled upon SINNBAD as the Navi prepared to strike the virus yet again. Enough was enough. The virus was not about to take another strike from this Navi. As SINNBAD took his final swing, Harbinger leaned forward and turned its head to the side... The Navi's blade made an interesting sound, much like a sword hitting a watermellon, as it cut into the cactball stuck in the virii's mouth. Harbinger fired off another sonic blast as soon as the sword buried itself in the ball of cactus. The sound waves caused the blade to resonate and shatter, thus saving the virii's lif--
A blast of fire, launched by Lucia, struck Harbinger from behind, engulfing the virus even as it continued to surge towards SINNBAD. The Navi found himself amidst a raging inferno that melted his armor and burned away the grass beneath his feet. When the flames died out, a very charred SINNBAD stood upon a patch of scorched ground. There was no sign of Harbinger. The virus had been reduced to a smoking pile of ash with a couple of glowing orbs resting amid the charred remains. Perhaps they would be useful? Either way, they had defeated it at last.
With the defeat of Harbinger, the two Navis realized the grand hall was completely quiet. SINNBAD had been too focused on the battle and Lucia had had her back turned to everything else... until now. Now, there was nothing and no-one besides the two warriors left standing in the hall. The only trace that someone had been there was a couple of discarded chip data files near the entrance. What had transpired while they had been occupied was anyone's guess.

SINNBAD's armor fell apart as the straps burned off, piece by piece, and made quite a clatter as they struck the ground. However, before the knight was completely nude, he managed to pull up a tattering of carpet and slung it along his waist in a makeshift kilt. His dark, cloudy-gray hair was matted with the sweat of battle and his paling face showed the wrinkles of fatigue.
He plopped down onto the cold, stone ground to take a breather.
"Lady's first to claim the prize."
He stated after calming down a little, though his breath was still heavy.

Lucia gave a soft slump when the beast was finally claimed by the inferno, a soft smile touching over her lips as she let out a long relaxing breath to calm her nerves.
The once shiny armor that covered her form started to grow dull and cracked, her deep crimson locks started to lighten and begin to lift as the plating and cloth begun to revert itself to the ribbons that once mummified her form. It took but another instant for those ribbons to take on a soft glow only burst into flames and disappear as ash caught in a soft breeze, revealing the navi's true form and nature once more.
Rising up to her feet Lucia let out a soft stretch as if the armor had been weighting her down, even going so far as to bounce upon her toes while hand lifted to crook over brow as she peeked around.
"Say, what happened to our friend, where did he go!?" Granted she'd missed seeing that the ghostly creature was female, but all the same Lucia seemed caught in good spirits as she collected the spoils of war.
That is, until she stepped up to the two left behind bits of data, peeking back towards SINNBAD, only to give gleeful smile when he said she got first pick. Turning back upon the two abandon prizes she'd look at them closely, deciding to go with the one she didn't recognize at all, taking up the Maru's lingering data and sent it off with the rest of her spoils.
"Right then, so the last one is all yours Sinny, goodness but that thing really hits hard! Hope there aren't any more of them deeper in."

SINNBAD got up to walk over to the shining prize that remained, a HeatShot battlechip, when SINN's operator finally came back on.
"SINNBAD."
The knight froze at attention, clad only in the skirt. His lean muscled body on full display.
"Yes My Lord."
"You have done well in clearing this staging ground. But for now you should retire. You need to be made stronger before you press on in this castle... I also need to go through the data we have collected thus far."
"As you wish My Lord."
SINN stated before he walked over and picked up the rest of his share. Then he turned to Lucia with a bow.
"I hope Lady Lucia will pardon my current shambled appearance."
He said in relation to his current state of undress.
"And I also hope that this knight will see you again."
He said as he kissed her hand, then vanished in a ray of light. He left behind a flowing banner of an ivory tower on a field of green to mark his passing.

Lucia looked on as the short conversation passed between the navi and operator, only to give slight blush when she realized nearly as skimpily as herself. "Ah, right, see you later Sinny!"
Turning round on her heel Lucia started to skip towards a the doorway, big smile across her face. "Now to find that dungeon."
"Lucia, we're pulling out, we've what we set to get."
"What? But, but I never got to explore!"
We'll return at another time, for now we're leaving this network, some things to do."
Giving a rather annoyed huff the fiery little navi turned round again and stomped down the entry hall towards the large doorway, stepping foot back outside. "No fair. I wanted to stay!" came final pout as navi lit aflame, form fading away within the fire only to burst up into the sky, leaving the castle far behind.
