((BUMP))
Fortunately for them, Red realized almost immediately what was going on and moved to restrain the navi.

Unfortunately, he seemed to have anticipated this.

The navi jumped away before the caramel could hit him, only being hampered by the edge of the cascade (stun x1 to Mani). "Get...away..." he growled again, lashing out at Red. A fist connected with the side of her face, causing him to stumble but also putting him in point blank range of a series of exploding pastries.

The navi attacked once more, in vain as Red dodged the blow. Meanwhile, Binary decided on a different approach, rushing forward and stealing several of the knives attached to his belt. He then coated himself in purple armor and body-slammed the navi.

As far as pinning him to the ground went, he succeeded for the moment. As the navi struggled to push him off, however, it became apparent that it was a very temporary solution.

Worse yet, a silver ray of moonlight fell upon the clearing as the clouds continued to part.

Mani: 440 HP

Binary: 160 HP
Red: 190 HP
Myun: 80 HP

Terrain: 80% Grass, 20 % Normal (Normal terrain appears as patches of dirt.)
((MAH SUPPORT UNIT IS INVISABAL))

Red stumbled back from the blow, and then threw some pastries at Mani. The name had just suddenly appeared on her battle-sensors. Looks like the routine was up.

But the longer this went on, the less time they had to pulverize the knife navi before he went werewolf.

What to do?

"I'll handle this," a voice in the back of Red's mind growled.

"Okay!" she replied cheerfully back, her form glowing, growing taller, widening a bit, and finally settling, into her Badass_Hottie.GMO. The crimson crusader 'tched,' flipping her hair, and lowering her scarf a bit.

I really need to put locks on these things, she might go wild with them someday, Shin noted to himself as his navi transformed. "Alright Red, time for some action! What do ya need?"

"Something I can use to kick this guy in the eyeBALLS," the red-scarfed warrior snapped. Her netop winced, clearly hearing the wrong thing as he sent his navi two chips.

"Don't hurt too much of his pride," the self-proclaimed Ace Netbattler whimpered pleadingly as Red charged full-speed ahead at Mani, the wind swirling around her figure. Closer and closer she approached the navi, and then she loaded the chip data into her right leg.

"HURRICANE KICK!" the badass hottie roared, jumping straight at the knife navi, wind swirling around the chip data in her leg as she extended her lower body ligament, and sent a crushing jump kick with all the power of a Shotgun fired at point-blank range into the opponent's eyeballs. Red felt her foot connect, emanating a sickening crunch with something, but with what exactly? The gust around her leg compressed into a ball of air at impact, and released, sending a cyclone of force at the enemy, attempting to send him flying onto the grass terrain. This was truly a "Hurricane Kick."

"Not done!" the badass hottie growled, twirling acrobatically in the air as she flew using the force of her blow toward her targeted position: above Mani's head.

"Myun!" the crimson crusader called to her support unit, obviously indicating that the rabbit needed to supply something. The pet understood, and started charging a pink ball of energy in her fists.

Red pulled her arm back, she was falling, face first, down toward the knife navi, or so she hoped. Mist streamed from her arm, it accumulated quite quickly and was soon in the form of a massive robotic arm with a shield at the side. Myun finished charging her energy, and soon threw it into the Big O arm, having it grow a piston out of the back.

"Time for some navi pancakes! RAH!" the fairy tale navi bellowed, punching down with all her might. She could feel the arm, it was heavy, but she was strong. She would finish this, there would be no mistakes, and no victims. Well, the knife navi had to go.

The piston shot down upon the MistConv's impact with something, adding a Breaking force to the blow.

"SUDDEN IMPACT!" the wind navi cried out when the piston clanked down. The mist fell away, and the red-caped wonder flipped downward as her netop sent her another chip. A yellow curved shield materialized in front of her hands, and she rode it all the way done.

Reaching the ground, the badass hottie kicked the shield up in front of her, attempting to block any incoming attack from the opponent. This was all she could do, for now. She would leave the rest, to Binary.

1001 tensed as he saw the Navi (who, after a quick registration scan, turned out to be called 'Mani') lash out at Red. He also grumbled that despite the extra weight of the Firewall, he was still having trouble restraining Mani. "Orders, Chris?" he asked, trying to maintain the armor for as long as possible.

"Ehh, I dunno. Kick him in the balls or something," Chris said, slotting in a couple chips that would make it work.

1001's thought processors immediately started ringing. "Impossible. Navis have no reproductive system, thus kicking a male-coded Navi in what should be the testicles would do nothing more than if I'd kicked him in the foot or any other part of his body," he answered back. Then, something clicked inside him:

There were other spherical-shaped body parts in the human body.

One such was the eyeball, a very sensitive part of the human body and one that could be used to inflict large amounts of pain.

He rephrased Chris' original sentence, instead wording it as, "Kick him in the eyeballs," which basically meant, "Kick him in the face." The Djinn Navi smirked, shattered the armor, and loaded his first chip.

The first one was familiar only because it was Chris' only Fire-elemented chip: a Firehit. It would still work, 1001 thought as he sent it to his right foot. The eyes opened, each one a blazing red, before the pupils spat fire and coated his royal purple skin in a shimmering blaze. He grabbed at Mani's clothes to ensure he wouldn't be able to escape, then brought his foot up and planted it in all it's flaming glory right where Mani's face had been. Just as an extra spit in the face, a couple of his massive toes curled to point inward, in an attempt to try and poke the werewolf in the eye.

He quickly brought his foot back to prevent it from becoming a target. It was widely known that grabbing a leg was a rather simple, yet somewhat effective method of limiting a humanoid's movement; why shove a target right in the opponent's face, literally? He instead brought out one of his many arms, which was already coated with the power of the second chip he'd been sent: the Energybomb.

"This might hurt, just so you know," 1001 said to what he'd labeled as 'Mani' before extending his open palm towards the Navi. The red, glowing light burned on raw power alone.

Chris snickered as he saw the red light; it was too good an opportunity to pass up. "This hand of mine is burning red!" Chris exclaimed.

As 1001 balled his hand into a fist, 1001 continued the line from the old anime show. "It's loud roar is telling me to grasp victory!" he rumbled. His eyes suddenly flashed purple as they scanned the target in front of him, making some final checks to make the hit as accurate as possible.

Together, Operator and Navi bellowed, "ERUPTING! BURNING! FINGER!" as 1001 shoved his glowing hand towards Mani's head. He felt his hand collide with something, and all hell broke loose. A spectacular trio of explosions erupted from 1001's hand, propelling the floating Navi backwards a large ways. Smoke had gotten everywhere so it was more than a little hard to see where Mani had gone, but 1001 didn't exactly care. He then uploaded his last chip he'd been sent, a Guard1. In a flash of light, all six of 1001's hands glowed purple as they arranged themselves to form a hexagon in front of the Navi. A beam of light shot from each one and filled the gap between, making a glowing barrier in front of 1001, ready to defend from the feral Navi's assault. Meanwhile, while it wasn't needed, the constant, though faint glow around 1001 harvested itself, a small portion of it pouring into him and rejuvenating him.

Interestingly enough, as the two navis realized that they would have to kill the werewolf navi before he transformed, he didn't even try to dodge. Perhaps he had been rendered unable to move, or perhaps he realized that their intentions were, to some extent, good.

A kick and a massive mist arm slammed into him as Red went berserk on him, then fell back to the ground riding a guard chip. Binary followed suit, delivering a flaming kick to Mani's eyeballs, then shouted a quick speech...of sorts...followed by a battlecry and a trio of explosions of light. Mani knelt to the ground, putting both hands to his head.

It seemed, for a moment, that his imminent transformation was preventing him from moving at all, thus giving them an opening. It had worked thus far.

Then, the clouds finished parting.

Never had the soft, silver light seemed so menacing as when it shined down on the clearing, casting half of Mani's body into shadow. He no longer seemed fearful, only pained by what was happening to him.

The hair on his face and arms began to grow, thickening to the consistency of wolf's fur. His face elongated, became more savage. The ears on the side of the man's head shrank inward, replacing themselves as wolf ears on the top of his head. Mani threw his head back as the transformation continued, muscles now rippling his body, expanding until they tore through the tattered, dark clothes he wore, leaving only the trenchcoat with nearly ruined sleeves. His teeth elongated into daggers, hands grew claws each as deadly as a samurai's blade. Spreading his arms, he let out a chilling howl, then arched over again, fully transformed.

In the real world, both operators could see his HP reading, at first thankfully low, go beyond the original limit.

Mani: 600 HP (10 damage reduction) (transformed)

Binary: 160 HP (Barrier)
Red: 190 HP
Myun: 80 HP
((Last post before I leave for Alaska))

Red clenched her fist in victory when attack after attack had landed on Mani, the poor soul apparently taking the blows, knowing it was for his own good. What a brave navi. A strawberry fell from the sky and the badass hottie downed it coolly.

<(Play track: Libera me from Hell)>

Then, everything changed when the sky parted.

The full moon shone on the clearing, and Mani transformed.

"No!" the badass hottie roared as she pounded her fist into the ground in anger, eyes and teeth clenched in frustration. "NO! This wasn't supposed to happen! We were supposed to save him!"

Shin sighed, eyeing the werewolf navi's HP warily. It seemed the transformation had fully healed the abomination. There was nothing left to do. Only...

Do the impossible, see the invisible.

"We're going to destroy him as he is now," the self-proclaimed netbattler stated firmly, clenching his fist, then turning to Chris, the tips of the wind navi's operator's sunglasses glinting in the sunlight.

"Alright, we're going with our original strategy. I'll start this off Chris!" Shin roared, sending through four chips to his navi. "Go for it, Red! Take Mani down where he stands, so..." Shin paused, body shaking, fist trembling with emotion.

"So he'll never kill in that form or fear it ever again!"

Do the impossible, dont'cha wanna bet?

"Right!" the crimson crusader replied, spirit rejuvenated by her netop's words, a freezing wind whipping up around her being. The red-caped wonder looked at Myun, and the support unit met the wind navi's eyes. They nodded, and went to work.

Red let out raging battlecry as she charged at Mani, before swiftly shifting out of existence mid-run, and reappearing behind the werewolf, two blue balls, one of a lighter shade than the other, in both her hands.

Get ready to rumble. Now is the time, uh-huh. If you ain't know, now you know.

You're marvellous.

The badass hottie smashed the light blue orb into the ground in sync with the music playing in her head, spreading a sheet of ice over the ground, hoping to encompass the werewolf with the attack.

Wasting no time, the red-cloaked navi crushed the other orb with her fist, swung her right arm in an arc at Mani, sending a gushing wave of torrential water charging into the former knife navi. With any luck, the arctic terrain would add its own power to the Wideshot and freeze the werewolf over.

I'm about to hit you with a stream from Underground.

"This ends, now!" Red bellowed, swirling wind around herself and boosting herself high into the air, higher and higher, electricity crackling in her hands and condensing into orbs containing high amounts of energy. The badass hottie brought her arms over her head, slamming the orbs together and fusing them. The brightness could overshadow the forest's moon as stray bolts crackled from the now giant orb through the air. Myun, by this time, had charged up her own energy into a pink ball. The bunny threw the ball into the electrical mix, amplifying the Elecreel further, then bounced away. The crimson crusader's frosty azure eye's glared down pityingly at her opponent, but she would do this with no remorse.

What'cha gonna do, is what'cha wanna do.

"Binary! Let's do it!" Red cried, sending her attack crashing down. The lighting orb burst, sending crackling and fizzing bolts of electricity screaming through the air toward their target, Mani, the knife navi, the werewolf, a victim of this forest. It would end it. They would end it.

Row Row Fight da Powah.

FIGHT DA POWAH!

"BE SAVED! SALVATION PINCER LIGHTNING!" the badass hottie shouted, tears streaming from her eyes as the last lighting bolt left her hands. The electricity converged on the werewolf as Red flipped to the ground, ready to move, though her body was weak. She would move, for the sake of others.

1001 simply floated motionlessly, his loose trousers billowing slightly in the wind. "An inevitable conclusion," he rumbled, "but I still would've preferred it stopped before it could've happened." A single tear the size of his thumb fell from his main eye, splashing onto the ground and becoming lost in the dead soil.

"Even if it's happened now, you still have to fight. Kill or be killed; that's how humans have functioned since their creation," Chris monotoned. 1001 gave a grave nod, and readied himself. "Binary, we're doing the combo. Use the chips I'm giving you, and follow Red's lead. My advice will not be needed; follow your own instinct," Chris ordered.

"Understood."

<(Music: Xepher)>

Existing in this place, now are uncleanable lies.

1001's consciousness, otherwise known as Binary delved inwards, retreating into the depths of his Core. His part of the fight would not be played out from out there with Mani, but inside where he could be calm and peaceful, even during such an event as this. On the outside, 1001.GMO went completely limp, hanging in midair like a marionette with his strings cut. He drifted slightly on the natural wind that surrounded Red like a protective mother; he was as dead as a Navi could be.

1001, or rather, Binary was immersed in a maze. A maze that none could probe but him, who knew the map by heart. A maze that was so vast, it could drape over the entire Internet as a disorienting blanket, yet so compact, it could fit inside a single Navi. A maze that held Binary.EXE's entire existence within it's infinite nooks and crannies. It was the maze of his own mind.

Binary rounded a final corner, and found himself in a gigantic, circular room. Vault-like gates were everywhere, packed side-by-side in the walls, in the corners, and even rowed together on the ceiling and floor. The vast majority of them lay bolted with padlocks and chains strewn across them, but a scant five of them; two on the walls, one on the ceiling, and two more on the floor, lay unlocked and waiting for Binary to use. One was open but empty; the Firewall, two had tentacles of data constantly streaming out of them; the Energy Harvesting system and Streamliner, but the remaining two were full of data and eager to be of use. Binary navigated to one of them and opened the vault, letting the EMP's power swarm out in a massive tendril of data and out through the passageway. His work here done, Binary exited the room and retreated back into his Core, where he would continue his work.

How far do I have to go to see the light.

Binary reappeared in what appeared to be the inside of a large, spherical metal ball. Flickering, blinking lights illuminated the chrome in a dim glow, while a large, white pedestal sat in the direct center of the room as if waiting for something to stand on it. Without hesitating, Binary shifted onto the pedestal, and the entire room lit up. The dome was no longer a chrome ball, but showed a 360-degree view of the forest; he was looking through 1001's eyes. In the real world, the limp Navi had opened every single one of his eyes, glaring at everything with countless golden stares.

It was time to act, Binary decided. After briefly turning 1001's lifeless head to face Red with a dead stare, Binary sprang into action manipulating 1001's strings. The chips he'd been sent were obvious; the two ElecReels that could be used with the Ice Terrain. Before he did so, he accessed the three clouds of data that hung around him like fog. The first was the Energy Harvesting System. Binary immediately activated it, readying the system to absorb the vast amounts of kinetic energy he'd be generating in a moment.

Then he activated the Streamining program. Multiple lines of code ran past the vision of the forest he saw, each one going at a blinding pace only a Navi programmed to work with pure data could see. Binary effortlessly read each line of binary coding that shot by; they all had to do with coordinates and the like. He swept those off to the side and locked onto Mani. More binary immediately popped up, this time stuff Binary read carefully. He couldn't afford to miss here; he wanted to save Mani from going through too much pain in living. He marked Mani's perpatual coordinates and moved on.

The final part was the quickest manouvre for Binary to do, mainly because he'd been using the data-moving technique since his creation. He took the two ElecReel chips he'd been sent; large, powerful clouds that sparked and fizzed every so often as if eager to cause pain and damage, and fused them into a massive thunderhead of data. Then, the smaller EMP's data was promptly taken and jammed into the ElecReel mix. The result was an electrified fog of data particles that needed a place to go. Binary made it scatter into the 'viewscreen', temporarily blinding him as the mass of data obscured the view of the forest, but eventually the ElecReels and the EMP fused with the viewscreen. It made it a bit staticy and hard to see, but it was what he did for every time he used the powerhouse chip.

The chips were loaded, the stage was set. Binary manipulated the strings, and 1001 lifted his lifeless head, his golden gaze directed at Mani. The target had been chosen, now everything would be allowed to happen.

Stars in your eyes.
(Stars in your eyes.)
Stars in your heart.
(Stars in your heart.)

A barely audiable hum emitted from 1001 filled the moonlit clearing. The hum became a buzz, the buzz became a crackle, and the crackle became a roar of pure sound as 1001 almost literally exploded with energy. From each eye, a tendril of raw, blinding blue electricity burst, whipping about with an intensity that the true Binary's tentacles could never have matched. They searched vainly for a target to latch to; to burn away with their power. Binary would give them their 'meal.'

1001's dead arm rose limply and pointed a finger at Mani. The tentacles reacted immediately, shooting off in the direction 1001 had pointed in. Binary could not see for the intense light given off by the tentacles, but he felt one collide with something. The thousand others swarmed the point the first had collided with, writhing like snakes as they tried to puncture, wrap around, whip, and do anything they could to cause as much pain as possible. The snakelike entities almost seemed to glee in the fact that they were destroying something; reducing everything into nothing.

You will live in shadow.
Of shade and commit eighth sin.
Unrequited existence will turn,
Everything into nothing.

His job complete, 1001 severed the ties with the tentacles and drifted back limp as a ragdoll. He retreated into the trees, attempting to camouflage his monstrous frame against a massive dead oak. The darkness almost enveloped him, but Binary made sure that his body would not be lost among the trees. The Energy Harvester gleefully slurped up the massive amounts of kinetic energy the body had gone through when conjuring the tentacles, then was forced to vomit much of it back out as junk data. Still, the body felt rejuvenated.

((Sorry for the wait. Hopefully this won't happen again.))

After a slight case of despair, Red's spirit is rejuvenated by an exchange of epic speech between her and her netop. She teleports behind the werewolf and creates a patch of ice under them. Mani, however, takes a hint from the sudden patch of cold underneath him and turns around, slashing at Red. His claws connect, ripping through her (40) and throwing her off enough to cause the wideshot to miss.

As Red boosted herself into the air with a gust of wind and called down a massive, shattering bolt of lightning, Mani was unable to dodge in time and was struck with it, still while standing on the ice.

Almost as soon after, two more bolts of lighting converged with it, originating from Binary. Enhanced by EMP and streamlining, they also struck Mani before he could dodge, then spread across the ice in intricate patterns.

As Mani recovered, Red fled through the air and Binary dodged into the trees. Seeing an opportunity, he skidded off the ice and into the woods himself, slashing at the very same dead oak Binary had tried to camouflage himself against (40, blocked by barrier). Though unharmed, his barrier was taken down, and the oak itself was cut near the base until it was just barely still attached to its roots.

What was worse, however, was perhaps what Mani did next, indicating he had never been aiming for Binary at all. Grasping it from under where he had cut, the werewolf ripped it the rest of the way and held it like some sort of massive bludgeon.

Red: 150 HP
Myun: 80 HP

Terrain:
50% Grass

As Red initiated her attack, her thoughts that it would go quite easily, were shattered the instant Mani slashed at her. The Wideshot went way off mark and there was searing pain across her chest. Nevertheless, she bore the wound, there couldn't be anything worse than being in the state her opponent was in, right? Lightning flashed as Binary and her's attacks struck the werewolf. He was badly damaged, but not out.

((Battle Music))

"Let's finish this, and move on to any other cases in this accursed forest," the crimson crusader growled, lowering her arm. The wound would heal, but some other things couldn't be. A single strawberry fell from the sky at this point, whereupon the badass hottie quickly snatched and ate it, restoring her systems.

"Right, so get him away from Binary first, then..." Shin paused, slotting in one chip. Magnetic energy crackled around the red-caped wonder's left as she glared determinedly forward.

"Make him rest in peace!" the netop shouted, sending in three more chips.

"RAH!" the wind navi yelled, sliding off the ice, before spinning a full circle and aiming her left hand at the lower section of Mani's body, where the knife belt had been, or still was, but she knew the next attack would fare as good as any.

The air shimmered around Red's arm for a moment, before a pulse of magnetic energy surged through the air, heading straight toward Mani, aiming to damage and stun the werewolf and leave him vulnerable to the next attack.

A crescendo of energies started to swirl around the crimson crusader in an instant. Fire, Wind, Destructive Force, Feral Strength, and Raw Power would be the most evident ones defined. The cloth on the badass hottie's right arm ripped clean off as jagged fur sprouted erratically from her skin, encasing the whole ligament in a feral hide. Five short claws protruded from the ends of where her fingernails once were and the wind navi grimly tightened her beastly fingers into a fist. A cyclone of wind swirled around the arm, whipping up the grass of the clearing around the red-cloaked navi and making her overcoat and scarf billow haphazardly around her bodice. Flame crackled around the fur a bit, before fully igniting the arm in a devilish fire that licked at the air. Red's support unit added her own energy into the mix, making her mistress' right arm look a bit more muscular, if not a lot.

The result was truly demonic. A beastly muscular arm covered in flaming fur with a horrendous whirlwind circulating around it. Red glowered at Mani, her azure blue eyes, particularly her right, gleamed brilliantly.

With a guttural roar, the badass hottie charged at Mani, pulling her arm back and sending all her power, pain, emotions, and thoughts into this one strike, not holding back one bit as she drove through whatever the arm connected with, pulverizing fate, destiny, and chance into oblivion. The mighty power of a Minibomb, hidden in the clutches of the crimson crusader's fist, exploded, as the attack could go no further. A shriek of wind coursed throughout the netscape, riding the stream of the attack, aiming to push Mani backward, possibly toward Binary.

What was the result? Only a higher power would know.

"I think I'll name that Burning Burst Punch, if we ever use it again," Shin commented as Myun bounced away in the ice.

Red hissed irritably as her arm transformed back to normal, steam rising from her exposed skin, eyes watching for the end result.

Binary was starting to regret that he lacked a face, or any conventional method of showing emotion for that matter; nonetheless, his CORE.dat radiated positive emotion as he saw the serpentine ElecReels finish their job, sinking into the ice like snakes that had just had the feast of their lives. With nothing to do but retreat slightly from Mani's form (he cursed as he felt the Barrier leave him), and of course the massive tree he'd chosen as a clubbing device, Binary manipulated 1001's lips to make him ask, "What now, Chris?"

"Now, we let Red take the lead, and we contribute our efforts towards her's. But before anything, we set up the Candle chip if only for a bit. You may not need it, but she definitely does; that swipe Mani had taken at her had looked nasty," Chris explained.

<(Battle Music)>

Binary accepted the data he'd been sent; it was Fire-type, but didn't feel like anything he'd ever felt in one of it's brethen. Instead of the desire to burn away all that it touched, it felt soothing, which was unusual to say the least. Without giving the matter any more thought than that, Binary uploaded the mass of data and let it take a corporeal form in the Net world. Immediately, a patch of grass near him rumbled, then blew apart as a monolithic onyx-coloured pillar rose from the ground, grinding to a halt when it peaked at about twelve feet. At the tip of this massive black candlestick, a deep violet flame burned. A pleasent aroma filled the area; the scent of the soothing fire.

With that done, 1001's many eyes, already open, swivelled if possible to focus on Red. Her arm had become something fit for a legend of demons; a howling, blazing menace nothing remotely human would be fit to use. But then again, the two of them weren't human. They were entities of code; simple particles of data bunched together and thrust into metaphysical form by means of a virtual reality. Even so, Binary watched his fellow Navi with interest, watching her simulated emotions whirl to life. It was really quite something, through his eyes. He wondered what it was like being behind those eyes, feeling and absorbing the lines of code that fed her the artificial anger. What was it like to be someone else? He supposed he'd felt somewhat what it must be like when he had Crossed with Splashman, but that had been different. He had still been himself, just in a new form and body.

Finally, Red finished her brutal, demonic assault and 1001's body whirled into action, though the head still hung down like a marionette with a severed string. "Chris, chips would be appreciated," Binary voiced through 1001 quietly.

Chris nodded, and quickly thought of something that 1001 would be able to do to make things epic. He suddenly got an idea, and swiped the Cornshot, and the Vulcan. Just to add one last touch, he hurriedly wiped the dust off a Cannon chip and slotted that in as well. "You have firepower," he said.

Binary felt three new chips; all of them he knew immediately what to do with. He'd known for quite some time now that 1001's eyes could become very capable firearm docks in a flash. Without wasting a nanosecond, Binary loaded the eyes with the data, spreading it across the entire front of his body. His main eye on his forehead, however, did not receive any data. It was already processing data; the iris a cool blue tone as opposed to the metallic silver that occupied so many others. The pupil was also changing, into...

...a crosshair. One locked onto Mani. "Burning claw and cold lead will be your end," 1001 monotoned, reminding everyone of Binary despite the poetic vocabulary.

The trigger clicked, and Binary opened fire. While Red had turned her own body into a demon, he had turned his own into a turret; a living firearms platform. The Vulcan's linear silver plasma lanced through the air, while glowing yellow Cornshot pellets spiralled around them. The hailstorm of firepower was concentrated and focused by the sole targeting system Binary was beading on Mani. The hum of energy indicated he would not be stopping the onslaught any time soon.

Eventually, however, he did slow the silver and yellow plasma, if only to show what else he had in store for Mani. Amongst the eyes spread across his body, all glowing the colours of whatever weapon they were dedicated to firing, there was one black sheep;a green eye set in the direct centre of 1001's immensely muscled torso. The pupil was a starburst of pure energy, readying the Cannon shot it would herald.

Keeping the Vulcan/Cornshot barrage up for just a few more precious seconds, Binary finally halted the assault as he fired off his last Cornshot pellet, and simultaneously firing off the glowing green ball that was the Cannon. It screamed through the air at a remarkable rate, a small starburst of power at it's rawest, most basic form.

His ammunition completely depleted, Binary kept the eyes open, making sure he hadn't missed anything.

((Sorry about the crap nature of this, I'm trying to get this done relatively quickly.))

After eating the strawberry, Red slid off the ice and aimed a giant magnet at Mani, only to have it knocked out of her hands as the werewolf wildly swung the unwieldy tree trunk at her. It was only by a miracle that Red herself managed to avoid it, having gotten just far enough away to have the trunk itself hit another tree before reaching her. She took the opportunity to lunge forward and unleash a massive fiery combo. Mani, however, dodged behind the tree trunk, which completely shattered from the impact of the "Burning Burst Punch", leaving Mani unharmed but minus the massive tree weapon. There were now, however, bits of burning wood scattered along the ground.

Before Mani could do anything with this, however, Binary unleashed his own stream of weaponfire, which brought the massive lycan to his knees.

"Not...bad..." he growled, seemingly out of character for his current form. He quickly returned to normal as his eyes filled with blind fury once more and he made to lunge at Red...then collapsed onto several of the burning fragments of wood.

Mani's body began glowing a brilliant silver, as though he were about to be deleted or jacked out. Instead, however, his data split apart and was pulled forcefully out of the forest.

Odd.

A whisper on the wind meets their ears as they try to catch their breath, however. The same words repeat themselves once again, Help me... No new paths open up, however, leaving only the makeshift one Mani tore through the woods.
"Rest in peace," Red murmured, giving a silent prayer for the defeated navi. She looked around, only one path was present.

"We're going Binary," the badass hottie grumbled, wasting no time searching for the owner of the feeble voice. Her boots stomped down the grass as she headed toward the makeshift path. Myun quickly hopped to follow.

It seemed moonlight would guide their path now.

((INTO THE WOODS, THROUGH THE MAKESHIFT PATH, TO FIND THE FEEBLE OWNER))
"Red, it technically wasn't us that killed him. It was the forest for turning him into that ... thing," 1001 said, back from his stint in his own mazelike interior.

"You needn't be negative, you know," he continued, drifting along behind her as she stomped down the path the late Mani had torn, "We'll fix this; make sure that this forest, whatever it is, won't bother any more innocents."

And then he was silent again, floating noiselessly above the underbrush that Red was crushing her way through.

<(What Shin said.)>
As they walked, however, the forest began to thin. Ahead, they could see lights, as well as one single light near the horizon.

The woods, for the most part, were ending. And in their place, what seemed like a small village stood.
"I'm not negati- Ooh! Pretty lights!" The badass hottie argued before reverting back to her original form.

Indeed, there were lights, and as they moved forward, there seemed to be... a village?

"Hey! Hey! I bet there's people who know what's going on over there! Let's go take a look!" the red-caped wonder suggested enthusiastically, jumping up and down while pointing at the village. Not wasting any time, the wind navi skipped merrily over toward the village. Myun followed closely behind.

((Badass Hottie.GMO deactivated, HEAD TOWARD THE VILLAGE!))
1001 smiled as he saw Red phase back into her more traditional attire and personality. Even so, he was wary of the village. "Chris, what should I do?" the Djinn asked.

"Follow Red, but cover her and your six, and be cautious. Mani came through this way, and who knows what he had to go through to get that messed up?" Chris replied.

"Understood," 1001 said. His eyes, mostly closed and resting snapped open once more, watching both behind him, and in front to serve for Red and him.

<(Follow Red with caution.)>
The village, as they noticed while walking towards it, was quite a bit farther away than a first glance would have told them. Several minutes later, before they were even out of the woods, Red tripped over a tree root again, bringing their progress to a halt.

It was only then that they noticed a well-hidden building of some sort just off to the side.
"ACK!" Red cried, falling face-first into the ground.

"Owww~..." the crimson crusader groaned, rubbing her nose. Stupid tree roots, and why in the world was the village so far away.

But something else caught Shin's eye as his navi was busy picking herself up.

"A building? What's that doing here?" Shin mused, taking a potato chip out of a recently opened bag and eating it.

"Hm, let's go check it out!" the red-caped wonder suggested, skipping toward the building.

"Examine every clue, huh? This better not be some bluebird result," the operator grumbled, snacking on another chip. Turning to Chris, he said, "Pick your way, I have to follow my internet browser, if you go to the village we'll catch up." Shrugging, he offered another bowl of yogurt to Chris.

((Goes to the building, FULL COMPLETION IS A MUST. :'D))
1001 abruptly stopped his floating gait as Red faceplanted into the dirt for the second time. He couldn't really think of anything to say except for, "Are you alright?"

Chris, however, was not interested in Red's sudden headgrounding nature. He was peering at the building that was barely visible along the side of the path from his view.

He was about to inform 1001 of the building's location, when the Navi himself asked, "Should I follow, Chris?"

"If you want to, but for the love of all things heavily caffeinated, be cautious. I can't really tell if Red's really watching her step, but then again, you have enough eyes to cover for the both of you in that form, neh?" Chris replied, gratefully accepting the new bowl of yogurt from Shin. "Do you know if they make this stuff in coffee-flavour? I'd really enjoy having a new alternative to the usual blackness," he asked.

Ignoring Chris' coffee-related question but taking his word for what his plan of action should be, 1001 drifted carefully onward. "Tread carefully, Red. We don't know what this building was built for," he called to his friend.

<(Follow Red, cover her six, stay on guard.)>
The building itself, as they find, has vines growing all over it, making it completely unnoticeable other than a doorknob (which amazingly, they use even in the net world occasionally), and the apparent building shape.

From a glance, one would say it had been abandoned for quite some time, except for the fact that the handle looked like it had been replaced or worked on only a few days previous.
