Trent's eyes scanned the battlefield quickly, only barely registering the exact events around him. He was still working off of emotions at this point, and withdrew a knife from his belt. His knuckles turned white as his hand clenched harder around the steel hilt. "Send me some blades," Trent barked, already starting to take the first few steps forwards.
"No."
Trent froze in his tracks. Was he just denied his request for weapons? He was turned down from being able to attack and delete the viruses before him. "What exactly do you mean by 'No'?" Trent growled back at Mark.
"I won't just send you more weapons for you to blindly rush in again. I will however send you some weapons we can use in a tactical manner. These actions are detrimental to getting Sasha back and to advancing your own programing. We will do this how we always do. Wearing them down first them finishing up close."
At first, the warrior wanted nothing more to ignore the assistance from his "Armory in the Sky", but upon reinspecting the viruses before him, halted in his path. He knew without aid he couldn't chew through the ranks of them. He gave no response but his silent gaze. Mark accepted that as an OK; even though he also knew that Trent wanted to just rush in.
"We recently got a new chip in a trade I want you to try out. This chip should greatly assist you in battle, it ties up enemies for a bit to be dealt with later. Very useful when you need some control of the field. Lets send that in an a chip that should bring back some rather painful memories to you. Then you can have your blades."
Trent nodded, knowing nothing else to say or do. Mark was going to send those exact chips either way. Trent couldn't see yet how this was going to exactly help his cause of getting Sasha back on his feet. In the back of his mind though, Trent knew he was out of line with his emotional responses. In his current state though, he couldn't ignore them. Trent received the data that Mark was talking about, and proceeded to turn upon the enemies, his hand whipping down to his pistol holster.
Upon withdrawal of the pistol it had already been influenced and updated by the back up of the chip. The action of the gun had three large blue spheres on it and the end looked like a bubble wand. The gun had a yellow outlined handle, and overall looked like a child's play time bubble gun. Trent even had to take a moment to inspect the rather odd weapon. It was time to start fighting though. Trent popped his arm out, locking his elbow and turning his body towards the targets.
He moved parallel to the intended viruses and kept his shoulder level. He pulled the trigger on the gun, and waited. Nothing happened at first. Trent started to turn the gun back towards himself to inspect it once more, maybe the child's gun was broken. Bubbles were growing on the end. Trent quickly flipped the gun back out and fired the shots down at the two large heavy viruses. The bubbles moved surprisingly fast for bubbles as they advanced on the target. He fired the last shot at the down to earth weather virus.
Trent uploaded the next bit of data, the poisonseed chip. Pulling the tiny weapon from his pocket, it was a large purple seed. He gave a look of sheer disapproval to Mark as the under sized seed sat in his hand. This was stupid. Trent looked to the sea panels below the three Misty viruses and took as best aim he could with the lopsided seed. He took a few steps forwards before throwing it low and towards the middle of the sea. With luck, the seed would hit in the middle and consume all of the sea panels below the Mistys.
"Alright good Trent. With luck the bubbles will hold those and we can finish off the Mistys. The poison should do some good assistance with that, go get them."
Trent opened the kunai chip, a classic chip for Trent to use. He held the three knives in his right hand, and got his feet moving and he ran towards the three viruses. He body eager to get closer, his hand waiting to feel the bite of the steel once he closed the final gap. He threw each of the kunai at a different misty target, hoping to send a knife deep into the forms of each one. His arms threw with power and speed, his hand happy to be using the welcoming blades once more.
Trent kept his pace going, summoning up a powerful sword chip. The widesword. The widesword chip was quickly becoming a personal favorite and enjoyment for Trent. Each time he uses it, the feeling of swiping across the forms of many viruses fills him with a undeniable glee. He knife chosen for the uploading of the chip grew in length and started to glow a very bright blue. The blades brightness and color got greater and greater the closer he got to his targets. With a fast horizontal slash, he attempted to weave a blade through the middle of all the misty viruses at once. In a final move, Trent dipped around the Mistys, and rolled up behind them in a dodge. He regained his footing and stood braced for the next moves.

While they moved quickly for bubbles...they were, in fact, still bubbles. The Heavy seemed blissfully oblivious to them, however, and as such ended up getting hit, and covered in some sort of odd film. The Weather noticed the one aimed for it, but was too late, and joined the dumbbells in their fate.
This alarmed the Misty a bit, being the most keenly aware of the viruses in this instance, and one managed to sneak an attack in before Trent launched his seed of toxins. It missed horribly, but it had the unfortunate luck of hitting the PoisonSeed in mid-air, causing it to create a smaller area than it normally would. It also prevented it from getting properly introduced to a throwing knife, though its two brethren were nailed by them.
Speaking of nailed, the Heavy, bubbled as they were, elected to try a one-two on the Navi, and warped to slam into him, one after the other. Luckily, the film apparently interrupted their sensory functions enough that they only smashed air. Realizing that this qualified as not good, another Misty launched itself at the Navi, this one actually having success (30). At least Trent got his revenge with a blade, though thanks to their assaults, the steam viruses were too far apart to get more than the one.
And to add insult to injury, the previously hidden Weather lowered itself and breathed magma all over the Navi (20). Actually, that probably qualified as injury, too, especially with all the lava created by it. At least it got rid of the poison in the process.
The Heavy and Weather were then suddenly encased in bubbles, the film electing to act at that moment...

"Alright, good. We have three of the targets locked up in those bubbles, that worked out far better than expected. We should be able to deal the damage of our chips through them, as they don't seem to be any form of a barrier, just a trap for the viruses. Lets drop those Misty's while we can. Slotting in a zap ring chip, use it over the sea panel misty."
Trent agreed with the opening move of the plan, but was starting to greatly feel the hurt from his blind fighting and lack of strategy over Sasha. The lava that had been doused over him was more painful than he would have wished for. Luckily, he had floatshoes ready for use, his feet not registering contact with the panels below him. "This program is one of the most useful things you have supplied me with." Trent said to Mark.
Trent waited not for the response, and started moving away from his current attack zone and over towards the trapped heavy viruses. Along the way however, his target wasn't the heavys themselves, but the far Misty virus, which still stood over the original sea panels. With a deft hand he gripped the pistol on his side, withdrawing the charged gun that the zapring chip had turned it into. Locking the green dot of the iron sights onto the Misty virus, he pulled the trigger to launch the electric bolt down the battlefield.
Trent replaced the pistol in its holster and moved towards the floating and trapped heavy viruses. in his other hand, he still held the widesword chip, the blue glow surrounding him in a strong light.
Mark was actually rather amused by the trapped dumbbells, the bubbles floating them casually in the air, almost in a calm fashion, though I doubt the viruses themselves were calm in this moment, with Trent rushing towards them. "I think I have seen a commercial or something similar to the predicament that the heavy's are in right now. I like this chip, that is very amusing," Mark said with a huge smile across his face.
Trent saw the effectiveness of the chip as well as he approached the viruses without worry of their attacks. His hand tightened the grip and swung the sword in a line, connecting the two bubble dots before him. If the attack was far enough to connect with the internal viruses of both bubbles would yet to be determined. A blue path of energy swept across the path of the attack, light bounding from the neighboring bubble brightly.
Mark slotted in another blade for Trent, as his knife returned to normal, the warrior dismissing the widesword chip, retiring it from the rest of the fight. Mark saw the rest of the plan unfolding, Trent filling in the gaps around the initial attacks. This form of teamwork seemed to be working out well in this fight. This would have to be something that Mark and Trent would look into more for the future fights. Mark makes the first calls to get Trent in, and Trent does the close combat.
A request for a special chip pinged the screen. The moonblade. Marks hand was already floating over the chip, thinking that it would be called upon next. "Slotting in the moonblade chip."
Trent pulled the finger ring blade from his belt, placing it in his right hand in a forward grip. He rerouted the data from the chip to the blade, wanting to use his own weapon for this assault, instead of the given weapon by the chip. He moved to the next batch of viruses, beside the heavy viruses. One was trapped in a bubble as well, and the other was glowing red underneath from the lava panel on which it floated. Trent took a few more bounding steps, his feet taking large strides to reach the targets quickly. A broad swing of his right arm was the activation for the moonblade, the force of the chip picking up his momentum and spinning him in a quick circle. With so few targets, the blade fighter found it much easier to attempt to line of the targets.
A quick dodge roll backwards set him up to raise his head to the daunting high altitude weather virus. He wouldn't be able to take it out with a knife, that was for sure. Deciding to simply prepare himself for counter attacks, his slid his right foot wards and scanned the viruses for incoming counter attacks.

The charged gun fired quickly, releasing an electrical surprise for the Misty, which was deleted instantly by the attack. A swipe at the two trapped Heavy viruses ended them just as swiftly. Meanwhile, one of the Weather decided to drop by for a visit, just as Trent was just finishing up on two of its comrades. Distressed by this event, the Weather released a storm of electrical blasts. Fortunately, he managed to step out of the way easily.

Down to just one now. Trent turned to face the last of the viruses, which now was down on his level. That would make it far easier to be deleted, without the altitude advantage hovering above his head. After this battle, it was one more then Trent would have Sasha back soon. Each hand tightened in grip in turn as he started to move towards the virus.
"I am going to slot in the new chip we found, use it then get in close combat on the weather, this chip will kill it if it hits, if not, just use those blade of yours, or this sword." Mark slotted in the arrow1 chip they got from the viral encounter just before this one. He also sent in the sword. Mark had been in this situation before, and returned to a reclining position while he surfed various databases on chips and NCP programs while Trent finished the fight.
Trent activated the chip tat Mark had sent to him, and this one reacted pretty standard with how the chip should react when used. A large elecbee virus formed off to his side, its wings beating and buzzing happily as it awaited an order for whom to attack. Trent dramatically threw his arm out, pointing at the weather and calling it out for deletion. The elecbee excitedly reared up before moving forwards in a flash. Small jolts of electricity followed the bee as it closed in.
Trent knew the chip would double back if it missed, and he took advantage of the off balance that the weather would have from dodging and moved himself in. Trent did bring up the sword chip, the data only slightly altering the blades he already held in his hands. Both of his blades were effected by the chip, and each one grew some in length and gained a glowing blue aura. The two knives, each in a different grip, were ready to be used. With a powerful swing of his right hand, he icepicked at the virus with the reverse grip blade, the tip attempting to pierce the virus quickly and painfully.
Following up with another attack from his sword, the saber gripped knife found itself being guide upwards, his thumb on the spine, towards the abdomen of the target. Trent pulled his attacks back, and moved in one last time. He switched his reverse grip knife to a different grip, the blade facing him, to be able to pull the target in and cause damage. Trent threw his hand beyond the target, and drew it back quickly to both pull the target in, and hurt it slightly. The true damage of this attack would soon be made clear as he took the other knife and sliced across where the throat of the virus would be.
Trent stepped back from the assault. "A little bit overkill don't you think there Bucko?" Mark said, once again disturbed somewhat by his navi's display. Knife fighting was rather-well-bloody.

Trent dismissed the sword chip, flicking his wrist and casting the last remnants of the blue glow to the side. He sheathed the blade and cracked his neck. The last two fight had been doing a number of him. He hadn't exactly been playing smart recently. Now, however, he was only one battle away from getting Sasha back, so his mind was much more level. Sometimes a lot of self inflicted pain is a good wake up call, and all of those shots he didn't have to take if he had played smart.
Trent gathered the data from the ground, sending in the new chip and the nice sum of zenny over to Mark. By his own calculations, the funds should be rather nice for the time. Which was a very good thing, he was in need of some upgrades, things were starting to hit a little to hard.
"Oh, wow!" Mark said while downloading and inspecting the new chip data. The chip was a very good one for Trent indeed. "A high aqua damage impact chip. We don't have much in the way of high damage, aqua, and this is our first impact chip. Talk about a useful upgrade when it comes to a random find huh?" Mark happily dropped the chip in with the others, before turning to a the least used section of his chip inventory, the subchips. "We don't use these much, but we do have them and did buy them. It wouldn't be a bad idea to throw one in now. That is, given you are done with such reckless fighting for now," Mark said his voice nearly mocking.
Trent turned upon the projection of his operator with a scowl, a hard look in his eyes. Mark shrugged it off and leaned back, spinning in his chair. "Alright, Alright I guess you are very finished right now. Here have this." Mark slotted in one of the energypack subchips that they owned, a flash of light bathing the warrior and returning his health a far closer to optimal status.
Trent stretched and cracked his back and shoulders. He lowered his large arms and started moving back down the webways, knowing only one more battle was needed before Sasha would be able to return. A hand drifted to his knife in a passive defense, his hand falling more upon the hilt for rest, and not aggression.

As Trent moved forward into the Yoka network, he found a small sign that said "Yoka Village Area", which led to a area that was, true to its name, exactly like a small village. Thatched-roof huts dotted the area, with haphazard roads between them of dirt and pebbles. A river ran through the area as well, from which many of the small huts had constructed some basic plumbing. In addition to that, there were even some simulations of bird and insect noises through the area, making it feel exactly like an old Yoka village.
As he approached the area, though, something felt strange. Trent saw that it was kind of devoid of any kind of movement, save for the flowing river. Once you listened past the noise simulations, it was eerily quiet as well. It really felt like some sort of place where there would be at least a Mr. Prog to guide people around the area, but there wasn't even that.
However, once he walked a bit further into what looked like the village square, he heard some kind of dull groaning and shuffling feet, which could be jokingly likened to the noise a zombie would make. Suddenly, from behind one of the houses, something of the sort did come out. Closer inspection made it clear, however, that it was a Navigator, not a zombie. One that was pretty terribly dressed, though. Tattered clothes and a general tired look made the Navi look like a weak and hungry hobo. Trent also ascertained the source of the earlier groaning and shuffling to be this particular hobo.
The hobo looked up at Trent for a brief moment, and the Navi saw bloodshot eyes, as well as a butterfly knife, searing with heat. "Food..." mumbled the hobo, a trail of froth and drool flowing freely from his mouth. Also at that moment, Trent noticed where the inhabitants of the Village Area had gone; behind the hobo was a pile of humanoid Navis, drained of their "blood" by a healthy amount of stabs and slices.
"Food!!" he repeated, a murderous grin capping the flow of drool as he raised the knife.

The area was a very calm and simple area, regardless of the creepy silence and unusually empty terrain. Trent nearly thought of it was a reprise from the norm, having simply walked upon an abandoned town. One hand dangled lazily at his side while the other held a simple rest on the hilt of a knife. Even Mark was calm about the area, being taken in by the simplicity of it all.
"It is rather weird though do you think Trent? This village seems like it was recently in working order. I wonder what happened to make everyone flee?"
The two didn't have to wait long to get the answered, as the groaning noises filled both of their ears. Trent turned quickly, dropping into a aggressive stance and withdrew a knife. He held it reverse grip, with the blade raised before him, and his other hand guarding his torso. After an intense moment of gazing down the area, the source was found to be a homeless looking navi. Trent loosened his guard but didn't lower it. The fact that there was only one inhabitant here, and they appeared homeless was very strange.
Mark jokingly insisted how the sounds reminded him of zombie movies and that Trent would want to run, being a zombie is no good. Trent didn't laugh. The Hobo raised his head up, the eyes of him catching Mark off guard. "Oh what the hell is that?!" He jumped from his seat. Mark reached out to Pan his view of the virtual world around, stumbling upon the pile of bodies in an attempt to dodge the stare of the hobo. "I guess we...we found where the people of the village went."
Trent had already glanced at the pile and looked back. His stance tightened once more as he took a few steps backwards to prepare for the fight. With rapid eye movements Trent scooped out the terrain, and the odd panel types. What was causing that panel malfunction? Was it the pile of bodies? The extra data from which leaking out and causing issues? Or was this navi the cause? "Mark, what does the PET say about those panels?"
Mark settled back down into his chair, "I never get used to seeing such violent displays. You would think I'd be used to it by now." Trent didn't understand the context of the remark, but didn't bother to ask further. "OK, so here is what I have got. The panels are similar in structure to the sea panels, but the PET isn't giving me a confirmed answer on if electric chips will still be effected by them." Mark saw the weapon in the hobos hands. "And judging from his weapon I would say this is going to be your kind of fight. First thing we need to do Trent. Fight our fight right? Lets set up some terrain for him to wade through, then test those panels below his feet. If they are as close to sea as the PET implies, your perfect weapon is already in our arsenal." Mark panned the camera back from the Hobos eyes and body count. "Funny how similar this all feels right now. Who knew we would stumble upon a ringed fight here?"
Trent thought about what Mark said. Unable to discern anything concert, his head strangely filling with alien memories, he shook it off and turned his mind back to the battle at hand. Trent took a few simple steps back as he watched once more. The way Mark had worded his sentences. They sound familiar to him. 'Fight your fight.' Rang in his head. "Fight my fight," He whispered under his breath. Trent shook off the odd feeling and instead tried to focus more on the battle. Mark was right about setting up our fight though. Trent could already feel the presence of two chips, one for the control of the field, the other for the experiment.
Trent reached into his pocket, and pulled out a large purple seed. He casually dropped the bulb down to his feet, letting it hit the dirty net ways of the village with a solid thud. The poison panels expanded below him, but his feet never touched them, the NCP ensuring he kept a safe distance above the deadly panels. The expansion of those panels should keep enough around for that dropping blood not to get everywhere and possibly help this fool out. Trent lifted himself from his stance, and back peddled away from the hobo, reaching the limits of his poison panels. There he stood, hand reaching for the pistol at his side.
Trent had already rerouted the data from the zapring to it. He had to make this shot. This early test of the conducting abilities of the blood would change his entire fight around. Trent got the feeling, he would have to make ample use of the terrain around him for this fight. As much as every fiber of his being wanted to rush in and engage in his favorite style of combat, he couldn't just yet.
He leveled he pistol, lining the green dot up on the center mass of the target. With a careful precision he took aim, locking his shot on before gently squeezing the trigger, his finger snugly hugging the back of the trigger mount. The large ring bolt flew from the barrel with exciting speed, the shot sliding through the air quickly. Trent replaced his pistol in the holster and adopted a stance with his weight on his back leg. He would be able to move and dodge quickly with his weight here while he waited for the actions of the hobo.
"I always hate the opening of a fight. Its always so much on edge with not knowing what to do and having to set up the fight for you. I like the thrill of trying to figure out the correct path, don't get me wrong. But the danger of choosing incorrectly hurts." Mark said, in a comfortable position with the familiarity of this fight.

As Trent threw down a pool of poisonous substance, the bloodthirsty hobo grabbed one of the bodies behind him, and threw it into the poison, creating a sort of macabre bridge for him to cross. After that, the hobo immediately leapt for Trent, brandishing his knife with an incomprehensible garble. Unfortunately, his aim was off, and he was struck with a powerful shocking attack, courtesy of Trent's pistol. Still determined, the hobo attempted another swipe, but Trent dodged the attack easily. Dissatisfied with the turn of events, the hobo brought out a small bag from his tattered clothes, tied at the end. It was transparent, showing a concoction of nasty-looking green stuff inside.
Throwing it towards Trent, the stuff drenched him from head to toe, causing him to develop strange conditions. On one hand, he seemed to have gained an innate sense of defense, able to parry attacks with ease, but on the other hand, he felt his health drop by the second! (Glitched) Besides that, the dead body seemed to still have some blood leaking out of it, replacing the swampy poison panels under it slowly. However, as Trent observed, it wasn't exactly coming from the body, but from the hobo's feet themselves for some reason.

"Is, is that blood coming from his feet instead?" Mark asked.
"Yes."
"That's very odd. This guy has some weird quirks going on about him. His feet bleed panels. Notice how he didn't come in direct contact with the blood panel though, but was standing on the body instead. He is just as influenced by the terrain as you would be without that NCP. Better yet, the blood doesn't seem to give him any instant advantages, as he isn't trying to stand on them for use. We must use this."
Trent let a devious smirk cross his face as the knife skills of the hobo surfaced. He was so sloppy with his blade, so careless. He wasn't being exact and his cuts felt more like berserk slashes than the careful attacks of a true knife fighter. Trent shifted his stance, dropping his hand to his side to withdraw another blade. While he did this, his guard opened allowing the bag to hit him square in the chest.
Red screen popped up from his PET, warnings flashed left and right, and Trent was covered in the strange stuff. He tried to scrape it off, hoping to get rid of it before the effects sat in, but it was too late. Finally the screens settled, and his current status was changed from normal, to poisoned. At first Mark didn't notice the other effect of the glitch, and quickly started to think of counter balance ways to deal with the poison damage and still dish out attacks to the hobo. That only brought up one chip for use. Totem1.
"OK Trent," Mark started, "Lets get this poison some buffer room here. We need to play defense this tim--" Mark's voice trailed off as he saw the other effect granted. Parries. This glitch may be one of the better things to have happened to Trent yet from any named fight. Instantly giving him something to cover his own ass in a fight. Brilliant. "Scratch that," Mark said. "That glitch helped you out more than I thought. It's giving you some defense," Mark was telling Trent things he already knew. "Get the totem set up, and get in there."
Trent got the totem data, and quickly summoned it far behind his current location, trying his best to get it out of a easily slash-able range from the opponent. The fiery object appeared, the eyes red and the fire dwelling within its gullet. Trent turned to face the totem, and threw one of his knives at the totem. The blade was aimed to be lodged in his head and switch the totem from attack to defense; the face of the totem becoming blue and far softer in appearance. Trent turned back to the hobo and eyed him down. With a deft hand, he withdrew his own bladed offense, each blade being held in different positions with each hand. The left was in a forwards grip, the right had a blade out reverse grip. Both were able to parry with the glitches effects if needed.
He switched his stance to a low and powerful one, his large shoulders hunched over in a protective manner. From this stance he could get a high push off speed, along with good attacks. He waited as mark slotted in a knife chip for use. "I am still pretty sure that the blood will conduct electricity. I'm send the elecknife for you."
Trent put the data into his left knife, allowing the erect blade to spark and radiate energy. As he was about to move forwards for attacks, a sudden image filled his head, of his knife digging into another navi causing deletion. It wasn't the hobo, and the area wasn't this village but a ring. He was surrounded by on lookers, who cheered happily as the deletion took place. He was dumbfounded for a second. The image was so...familiar. He shook it off. Regaining his stance, after a concerned word from Mark, Trent moved in. He kept one knife at the ready for a parry, if the hobo attacked.
He lead with his left knife, but it was just a feint. A quick slash across the chest of the navi was sent, just to throw him off, as the right hand whipped over and back, trying to dig the blade into the hobo. Choosing not to bring the blade back to his side, but instead yank the target in, he raised up a large boot and kicked the hobo back. Trent didn't wait for the hobo to react to his attacks. He dropped into a evasive stance and rolled around before standing up and moved instantly over to a panel the hobo was ever so familiar with, one of his own blood panels.
Whipping his body around, his powerful right hand lashed out, reaching beyond the target. The blade passed without harm by the hobos neck and shoulders, but with a flick of the wrist, the blade turned down and the spine was against the hobo, pulling him in closer. As the hobo came closer, the elecknife sparked in glee as the target came closer. The blade whipped forwards, his thumb on the spine guiding the attack upward towards the base of the rib cage, to dig the knife wards into it. It was a fine delivery system for the blade to find the heart, and add the extra zap in from all the blood.
Trent rolled backwards, moving away from the blood panel himself, and the all important return attack from the opponent. He Let out a loud gasp as he finally allowed the pain from the poison in his system to show, the damage taking a small portion of his health away. He turned towards the totem and issue an activation order, and in turn was bathed in a light blue light, his health returning. With a sigh of relief he stood back up, knives at the ready.
"Good Trent, fight your fight."

[Bit of godmoding there on your Pull, careful.]
"Urrrrrrrrr," groaned the hobo, with the ZapRing's effects beginning to take hold on his body. Moving rather sluggishly, he watched as Trent pulled up a Totem chip, hunched over even more than usual. As Trent threw the knife at the totem to switch it over to a curative mode, the hobo bobbed its head from side to side, moaning all the while. However, as soon as he went to take a stab at him, the hobo suddenly moved off to the side, snarling.
Lunging at Trent, he looked to wield yet another butterfly knife in his free hand, swiping at Trent's hands. Luckily, he managed to dodge out of the way of the hobo's haphazard movements. The hobo yowled angrily at Trent's moves, holding both of his knives with odd, loose grips and breathing haggardly. Then, the hobo was pulled dramatically towards Trent, causing him to throw out his knife in surprise. Trent parried away the knife as he went in for a powerful attack, managing to make a gash in the hobo's right arm!
"Urrraaaaa!!" exclaimed the hobo, leaping back and putting a hand on the wound inflicted. "Pain!!" he said, tearing off a piece of his already-tattered clothes and wrapping the wound with it, stopping some of the injury before it got worse. His feet continued to leak out the eerie blood panels, while Trent's totem bathed him in a restorative aura to counteract the hobo's poison.

Trent let a confident smirk cross his face, bathing him in a smug expression and stance. He was dancing with this navi, and he knew it. The Hobo was able to deal the damage, but unable to stand up to the speed and finesse of a true knife fighter. With the totem on his side, the tattered hobo would have to not only tighten his grip on those blades to hit him, but deal enough to where the totem didn't render his attacks nearly useless. He couldn't let his ego get in the way now. He had to remain in control, in power of the fight. Even though the enemy was a sloppy fighter, if an attack landed, Trent would be in trouble. He had to keep his focus.
"Trent. We have one chip that will allow of maximum damage on this navi. Something I have noticed is that, due to his gross bloody feet glitch, he is always on water...more or less. We have a perfect chip for this case, the powers of it very nice for this exact cause. I am going to send it in, then I want you to keep dancing with him and using that elecknife to finish this." Mark slotted in the arrow chip for Trent to use.
Trent knew the power of this chip, the viruses which it summons he has fought before, and the last tie it was used the results of this chip were more than satisfactory. Trent place his left knife back into the sheath, and kept his right reverse grip hand across his body for defense. He withdrew a different knife from his belt, one that was yellow in color and granted by the chip. He gripped the balanced knife by the blade, pinching it between his index finger and thumb. He pulled his arm straight back, and lowered his arm in a forwards arc, sending the blade hurling at hobo. Not long after the blade left Trent's fingers, it changed into the elebee virus that the chip was named after, and flew ever closer to the target.
Trent loved this chip, because if it missed it always came back. Trent was planning however, to deal enough damage without its help to finish off this navi. Once more into close combat. Once more into the heart pounding thrill that is up close fighting. His right blade was still held for defense as he withdrew the original knife back into his left, in the same grip as before. He loosened his own stance, pulling his body into a far lighter pose, bouncing around on his feet.
Trent had been fighting his hobo long enough to know he was both tricky and reckless. Thinking the enemy would take the offense while Trent summoned the elebee, Trent dropped into a back roll as a dodging effect, to ensure that no swings from sword would come close to the warrior. With the dodge finished he rose to his feet, and crouched low once more, flashing the blades out to the side. His smirk returned as his feet carried him forwards like a charging bull. Trent was headed right towards the guard of the sword, holding one knife at the ready for a parry if it was necessary.
"This feels very familiar, don't you agree Trent? All it is missing is the grungy fight ring stained with blood, and a good crowd and we have a regular old showdown on our hands huh? Just no mass riches to be gained."
Something was itching at Trent in the back of his head while he started his assault anew. A faded mental image he couldn't seem to scratch away. No matter. He must ignore it for now. He was upon his target. Trent threw his left blade in a quick feint before bringing the reverse right blade over and down, trying to slash into the front of the enemy. Following through on his momentum he rolled through blood panels and hopefully on the attack and arm of Cannibal. Trent switched his feet around when rising, turning his whole body to face the back of his enemy. He took a side step to the bloody ground left behind by the bloody feet. Along the way, he reached his right hand up, spreading his fingers wide as he tried to grab the collar and yank the enemy back, unto the waiting elecknife aimed for the spine. What a wonderful finish to the fight that sight would be. A twisting elecknife in the spine of a blood thirsty Cannibal.
"Oh nice showmanship," Mark commented. "We have to start making your style a bit more entertaining, it will assist in the value of your fights." Trent let the image in the back of his mind come scratching forwards. A full scale underground fighting ring, with a navi on the floor before him. He hadn't remembered this at all, why was the vision so real? Trent tried to shake it off, but all that did was send the vision into fast forwards to when his knife dug into the chest of the navi, deleting it in a fine explosion of data. Trent stepped back slightly, the vision clear from him, and his guard back up. With a fast command, the totem bathed him in a blue light as the final bits of the poison finished in his system, the damage from which once again taking his breath away for a moment.

A decisive throw of an Arrow-imbued knife had the enemy before Trent screaming in pain in a few seconds, bringing him down to size. Coughing up a bit of blood, the cannibal laid down on the floor, prostrating before Trent. "Give, give!!" he yelled in between the blood-choked coughs, though Trent merely yanked him off and sliced through the hobo's spine like a hot knife through butter. However, unlike most other Navigators, the hobo didn't seem to jack out, or even be deleted. Instead, all he did was spray blood everywhere, and lie motionless on the ground, almost as if he were dead. One of his knives fell out of his pocket, along with some change. Quite a bit of change.

Trent stepped back from the fallen body of the hobo, knives in hand and soaked in the hobos unusual blood material. Trent held his knives at the ready, keeping his stance low for several seconds after the cry for mercy. The body wasn't moving. Trent was highly suspicious of this. He remembered how the body reacted as the knives dug into his spine. Those hits weren't the final blow, but the arrow chip was. The after hits just sprayed blood. Trent's stance relaxed. Hitting the body as it is now would likely yield the same result. Just a bloody spray. He looked to his totem. For a second Trent wanted to switch it over to attack mode before it vanished, but instead left the body as it was.
"That is very odd that the body hasn't left yet," Mark commented. "Why is it still hanging around? What's causing that?" Mark recalled the noises that the hobo was making at the start of the fight, "Maybe he really is a zombie!" Mark yelled. "Quick! Burn him! Burn him with fire!" Trent stared back at Mark, his expression on changing from a, 'What the flying hell?' look. Trent moved over and collected the data from the ground before backing up moving towards the totem. With a swift kick to the side the face changed to red and the fire sprayed from its mouth, its last action before disappearing.
Mark looked into the PET. "Hey Trent, the data we collected from this fight is enough for Sasha to be back at your side. And with the zenny we collected from this fight, we can get some good upgrades at the Store for you. Lets get out of here, get some upgrades, then start training Sasha again. I think I read somewhere in his coding that we could spend some of your processing speed towards him for process attacks. Would be useful if we added some defense to him, then we can get some real dog training under way. We have the choice of fighting onwards in this network though. You are at full health, and we could some more good rewards if we waited a bit before leaving though.
Trent gave Mark a harsh scowl. Trent didn't like the idea of training Sasha this deep into the network without some form of defense. "No. Jack me out. If you wish for me to keep fighting, get me those upgrades now."
Mark looked around him. The train he was on was nearly to the scilabs, and the station was too far from the navi store to run and make it back, while leaving his PET on the train. Mark, reluctantly, pulled Trent from the networks.
