Freya, beaming into the network, the navi walking around the familiar area. Shrugging, she walks into the network to fight off boredom and gain money.

(140HP, battle 1)
Freya beamed into SciLab NET with all its glittering metal causeways and data streams sparkling like diamond rivers, to be accosted by... three Catacks. The viruses moved slowly forward and trained their tank-like cannons at the Navi.

Freya stopping on a dime as she saw the three viruses in front of her. Seriously? This is the best I'm getting? Feels like it's been a year since I last logged on and this is the best these idiotic viruses can throw at me. Oh well, may as well turn them to junk data as fast as possible and continue on. She said to herself, the three Catack viruses were going to die a quick death at the hands of the puppet navi.

Uhm. Freya. Would you not talk to yourself? It's...kinda creepy. Stephine said to the wooden navi, she was indeed a little creeped out by the fact the navi was talking to herself when three fairly decent viruses halted her advance. Freya on the other hand would just roll her nonexistent eyes at the netop she had been given to so that Jack could focus on keeping her ungrateful as hell SP around.

Stephine. Be a dear and slot in the DashAttack, MachineGun and Boomerang chips. I intend to delete these viruses quickly. The wooden navi said as she summoned up her two passive defenses, a shining barrier encompassing her body from the outside like a bubble would and from inside, a jagged and block-esque casing would show up around her form, giving her essentially a forty HP buffer to tank enemy attacks with.

With the three clicks hitting the PET and downloading the chip data into Freya's body, the Navi sprung into action, immediately walking towards the viruses, going into a run almost as quickly as she moved. Her body was surprisingly agile for something made more or less out of wood, must be something with the limbs...either way, as if she were flesh and bone, the navi dove to the right of the viruses, her wooden body scraping the panels under her as she activated the first of her three chips.

Summoning up what looked to be a Fishy virus, the creature floating there in front of the summoning denizen, just barely off the ground. Immediately jumping onto the virus, the navi lined up her attack moments before flying through the three viruses nearly instantaneously, winding up to the other side of them before jumping off and turning about in the air to face them again.

Her second chip activated, a shoulder mounted machine gun materializing onto her body and immediately taking a brief aim at the cluster of viruses, digging her feet into the ground as best she could. Target Acquired. She mumbled to herself as she tapped her foot and snapped her finger, a barrage of bullets littering the ground around the viruses, partially aided by the navi's innate sense of accuracy for being a cursor type and by her own targeting programs. Trying to wipe out the group without a second thought, even though her body shook from the recoil, she had mitigated it somewhat as the machine gun fell from her shoulder and tumbled onto the ground, used up.

As the dust began to settle, the navi immediately summoned what seemed to be a metallic, bladed boomerang onto her arm. Can't be too careful, can we? She asked no one in particular, the navi immediately bringing her arm back, and throwing the bladed weapon into the midst of the area, hearing various noises from the dust and keeping herself dug into the ground. The boomerang soon returned to the navi at high speed, managing to magnetically attach it's self, spinning around the navi a couple times before losing momentum and finally attaching it's self to her body, returning to normal.

Unimpressed with the network's viral offerings, Freya quickly summoned up her defenses and moved toward a better position. While the Catacks struggled to keep her in range, the wooden Navi launched a DashAttack straight at their group. Seconds before her charge could hit home, the first Catack managed to turn enough to loose a loud and painful-sounding cannon shot. Thankfully, Freya's barrier absorbed the damage, but it did knock her off course. She cut through one of the viruses before passing the group completely and landing. She turned around immediately, not wanting to let the viruses fire again. As she turned, a lethal-looking armament appeared on her shoulder and, after a brief pause, began to spray bullets in the Catacks' direction. The first volley slammed into the first and third viruses, finishing off the latter. The second volley was about as successful, and the last left the viruses in questionable condition.

Finally, relentless in her attack, Freya summoned a large boomerang and hurled it at the remaining viruses. Heavily damaged and apparently knowing this, one of the Catacks loosed a final blast in Freya's direction before both were wiped out. The Navi's defensive casing disappeared, but she was left in the same condition she'd began the battle in.

Rewards:
420z
just grunting as she had finished off the viruses, the navi moved towards the small pile of rewards that they had left behind. 420z, somehow she felt she could have done better, but she shrugged the thought off. She would continue through the network looking for more worthy enemies to destroy.

(Battle 2)
Freya came upon an island of glowing panels. A crimson flying saucer spun around the perimeter of this island, which was inhabited by two pill-shaped, sparking viruses and a pair of floating red-and-blue-colored cubes that rotated to the other color semi-randomly. The red-colored UFO sends out a warning to the other viruses as Freya approached.

Freya walked towards the glowing island of panels, watching the viruses practically bathe on them as the annoyance that was a RedUFO alerted the viruses to her presence. The wooden navi sighed at this, obviously annoyed. Of course I find viruses being peaceful and not destroying anything. Now I feel guilty for what I'm gonna do to them. She said with a shake of her head. Oh well. That's how things go on the net. Navis delete viruses, viruses attempt to delete navis. She grumbled to no one in particular.

Hmmm? Lets see...two Double Cubes, Two PulseBulbs and...oh! A RedUFO. Freya. Delete the UFO first, I've read horror stories about people not deleting them first. Stephine chimed in, rummaging through the chip folder and pulling out a Hi-Cannon. It looks weak. It can't POSSIBLY be that powerful. Freya said, eying the RedUFO. Freya. Shut up and kill it first. It steals chip data.

With a sigh, the navi felt the Hi-cannon enter her systems and she raised her arm, transforming it into the wooden equivalent of a Cannodumb2's head. Raising her Barrier and her casing from the routines of her signature programs, the navi held her ground. Planting her feet firmly on the floor under her, a scope appeared on the top of the cannon, helping her get a target on the virus. Reducing her sway as best as possible, the navi pulled the trigger, filling the barrel with a white light and a second later, the navi's cannon exploded, sending a blast of energy right at the targeted virus, she would wait a moment to see if it died or not before she made her next move.

Both navi and Netop were speechless from what had just happened. Both of them practically silent from what had just transpired. Until Freya FINALLY spoke up. MOTHERFUCKER! She blurted out finally, pissed that her chip data was devoured by the UFO. calm your wooden tits Freya. We'll kill them soon enough. Stephine said, slotting in another chip for Freya to make use of. Easy for you to say...you HAVE tits... The wooden navi mumbled under her breath, her crest glowing faintly as the data finally hit her data, and with that, the wooden navi would get to work.

Feinting to the side this time before the UFO could potentially steal ANOTHER of her chips, tossing aside the used up husk of a Hi-Cannon. The cannon making a loud clatter on the floor of the network, sliding a good couple feet away from Freya. Her body making a very slight glow as she began to blink in and out of existence at this point, her body ready to move multiple feet in a single go, as she began to run towards the viruses, her feet making a noise akin to wood thumping on a hard floor. Her form blinking out of existence for a few moments in front of the Pulsebulbs, her afterimage passing through one of the viruses while her signature attack had activated, a blink step away from the viruses and going behind them with a simple teleportation trick. Her body reappearing a good several feet behind the enemy horde of viruses, her senses potentially sharpening, her eyesight being affected the most from this as she turned to face her enemies again.

Activating her chip at this point, the net navi's arms contorting, splintering off from her body and turning into what could only be approximated into a chain gun, her arms floating in front of her in the shape of the weapon, soon reattaching to her body. Interesting... She mumbled, taking aim right quick this time, the chain gun beginning to rev up audibly behind the group of viruses, the navi cackling like a madman as she yelled out, in what one could only say would be a thick sharoian accent. CRY SOME MORE, MOTHERFUCKERS! She cried out, bullets beginning to fire out of her weapon of choice, the navi singing what could only be a Yatatatatatatatata in merriment of the potential destruction her foes would take, her bullets either hitting their mark or bouncing off the terrain in increasingly impossible ways, looking to hit the other foes in the group.

Furious at the theft of her first chip, Freya made moves to ensure her second choice would be more effective. As she teleported and opened fire on the aggravating UFO, the Blue cube began to spin briefly, and sent lines of blue energy out towards the flier, and also tot he two PulseBulbs. The bullet barrage pummelled the UFO, and though the light line from the Cube tried to mitigate some of the damage, briefly restoring its HP, it was far too little to prevent the ship from being thoroughly deleted. Amidst the hail of fire, several shots went wide, and two even ricocheted back in towards other viruses.

At this particular moment, the two Pulsebulbs were hovering, open-shelled, where Freya had been moments ago. They'd rushed up to blast her with their sonic probes, but now the navi was gone, leaving them both momentarily confused. Ill fortune to the two viruses, this was the state they were in when the rebounding bullets from Freya's machine gun pinged right into their open casings, striking at the temporarily exposed inner workings of each virus. The both closed up right away, recoiling, then rotated to face the navi, looking about as indignant as a faceless, mechanical virus could.

The other cube took the momentary lull to shine a brighter red, then emit a single red laser with unerring accuracy towards Freya but the navi was already on her toes and managed to avoid the lightning fast bolt.

From where they remained on the small solar island, the two PulseBulbs drew back some of their lost energy while they prepared to rush Freya again.

Watching as Freya practically ripped apart the UFO virus, Stephine would see her evade practically everything that the viruses would throw at her, the navi watching and staring down the other viruses intently, waiting for their next move. Freya. Goad those Pulsebulbs to attack you on that solar terrain. I hear that wood based attacks gain a damage bonus if you hit an enemy on them. You'll have to take the hits, but I'm confident you can survive them. The Magi said, slotting in a couple chips for her navi to make use of. With those passive defenses of yours hon, you shouldn't feel a thing. She added.

With a nod, the navi would slowly inch her way towards the viruses, her movement slow and deliberate before making a mad dash towards the island of solar panels. Her legs running for the hills as they clopped across the terrain, attempting to make sure the Pulsebulbs would stay where they were at as the navi accessed her chip data.

Come at me you pieces of scrap. The navi would say to the Pulsebulb viruses, flipping the viruses off in the process, attempting to goad the two Pulsebulbs into attacking the defensive wooden navi. The navi taking her sweet time in waiting before her arm transformed into what looked like a large, metallic looking Boomerang. The navi quickly swinging for the fences as she swung her arm in a large arc, her arm turned boomerang detaching from her body and flying off at the two pulsebulb viruses, hoping to cut through them and end their miserable existences. What the navi didn't count on was on her Boomerang arm's back-swing, her bladed weapon flying back towards her and in the process potentially cutting through one of the DBLCubes in the process as her body shuddering out as she caught it magnetically, her arm returning to normal and swinging to the side of her body.

Well...that was new... She mumbled to herself, the puppet navi activating the other chip her netop had sent her. The navi's arm turning into...well, what could only be assumed a sawed off shotgun...with a third barrel attached to it. The navi would just simply shrug to herself as she took aim at the last DBLCube that she had her sights on. With a silent pull of the trigger, the navi's weird looking weapon would fire off, three shots of gunpowder and energy shooting off into the DBLCube's direction, the navi sadly unable to see beyond the black smoke that would waft into her vision. Each blast of energy shooting off towards the DBLCube, looking to blast it to next year and beyond.

One on hand, Stephine was right about Freya's defences protecting her from damage. That was something they'd certainly do. Unfortunately, that didn't quite mean that Freya herself wouldn't feel a thing.

The plan itself was quite sound. It didn't take long for Freya to cover the distance to the Solar pannels, and put herself right up in the faces of the two PulseBulbs. In response, they did what they do best: Each of the high-tech viruses closed the remaining distance to their target, opened wide and hammered on her with their sonic blasts. As they did so, the shining panels below let them draw some more restorative energy, and the blue cube added to this with another bolt of healing energy for both of them.

For Freya's part, the first attack pounded hard onher barrier, and the second one shattered it, but her own systems were more than up to the task of defence, and quickly refreshed the defence a fraction of a second later. What they couldn't protect against, however, was the disorienting sonic reverberations that the two PulseBulbs attacked with. The crashing force of sound assaulted all of her senses, leaving a lingering daze, but not before the wooden navi managed to cut loose with a vicious counter against the bulbs, right when their shells were wide open and vulnerable.

It was an opportune strike, at an opportune moment, and despite being healed by the terrain beneath them, and the cub behind them, Freya's boomerang easily tore both of the viruses into rough, broken halves with a shower of delicate machinery and junk data. As it struck home against the particularly susceptible viruses, the boomerang drew even more strength from the solar panels, draining them to the point that they cracked and sending a spidery lacework of fractures across each of the tiles that now quite distinctly did not have PulseBulbs hovering above them any more.

Having put those tow out of their misery, however, the boomerang went wild, curving broadly and failing to actually connect with anything else before making its way back to her. In the brief delay as her arm returned to its regular position, the red cube took a potshot at her with a thin red laser beam. This time it was on target, and Freya herself wasn't able to dodge it, but her freshly restored barrier took the hit safely before collapsing for the second time.

Feya's answer comes in the form of the far more potent SideGun and her own dead-eye accuracy. The spread of the shot is more than enough to completely eclipse both of the remaining cubes, which invert their colours and spin madly for a moment before, in unison, crashing the ground and beginning to disintegrate.

The pleasant warmth of the solar panels underfoot made for a nice sensation to enjoy the victorious moment with, if not for the fact that the disorienting stun from the fallen PulseBulbs was still working its way through her body. Even so, with no other viruses left to cause problems for her the stun soon passed, leaving the victorious navi to the important task of assessing her spoils. For the most part, the viruses broke down into various junk and a useful amount of zenny, however the remains of one of the cubes left behind a much smaller, more compact core that blinked back and forth between blue and red several times before collapsing all the way into usable chip data.
