New Examination Tool

The three Navis wander the vast yet miniature city; chasing cars, destroying air raid sirens, or hoping to just level the entire city. The occupants of the city take notice of the three giant Navis stomping through their city (no sh#t.) and the rapidly growing number of police cars start to become more organized, and surround each Navi. Then, multiple other vehicles appear: SWAT vans, fire trucks, tanks, and a fleet of military and news helicopters. Multiple spotlights are wheeled towards them, lighting each Navi up like massive towers in a King Kong movie.

The police/military navis below examine Broadside, noticing his left arm in a sling, and start discussing strategy amongst themselves.
"Think that arm may be a weakness?"
"I dunno, but we can always find out. My tank will definitely be aiming there!"

Meanwhile, another large group of navis and vehicles surround the silent Voulge, the helicopters orbiting his spear like a bunch of gnats. Scientists desperately try to gather as much information about this giant in their city. "Where did he come from?" "Why is he here?" "What is that spear made of?" Voulge looks around, fighting the urge to smile from the thought of laying waste to all of them with a mere step.

A few miles away, though in reality only a dozen feet or so, the last group surrounds Djinni. There seem to be an oddly large amount of news choppers and random pedestrians in the street. Wierd... The helicopters fly in closer, but try their best not to collide with the massive Navi.

Somewhere in the city, a Navi of political power (mayor maybe?) speaks into a microphone, his voice projected all around the city thanks to large speakers wheeled in with the spotlights.
"Who ever you are, we don't want you in this city! Please leave quietly, or we will force you out! All three of you are currently surrounded by 6 battalions of this city's greatest..."
The ground begins to shake, nearly drowning out the Navi's voice in a loud rumble. The trio look around, trying to find the source of this apparent earthquake. Their search is abruptly ended as a large park in the east corner of the city bulges from the ground and explodes as a massive object plows through!

The object falls to the ground, but stops several hundred feet above the surface, supported by massive rockets burning from its round body. A pair of clawed arms and a stubby head emerge from its body as a pair of objects approach the city from the air. The larger of the two glides down and impacts a few hundred feet from Broadside. Its large wings fold back, as its necks, all four of them, whip around slowly and each head sweeps the area. Each head has its tooth-filled mouth open, bright glows emanating from each throat.

The final flying object passes over Djinni, nearly forcing her down with a powerful flap of its large wings. It circles around, revealing its large butterfly-like wings and heads straight towards Djinni and shows its large green compound eyes. The large insect emits a loud screech, as the rocket turtle emits a dull rumbling roar and the multi-headed lizard screams from each of its four mouths.
"Oh great..."

<(Mission Battle: Monsters attacking the city! Ready, FIGHT!!!)>
As Broadside moved towards an open space in the city, he came upon a large number of tanks, choppers, and various and sundry other civic defense vehicles, complete with midget Navis to man them. Following JT's orders, he came to a stop rather than step on them, which is when they promptly surrounded him. It was ridiculous. From his vantage, it was like being surrounded by insects. Insects with miniature military hardware, but still insects.

"...." Broadside was not amused.

Jared on the other hand, found the situation terribly amusing. But he managed to, barely, contain his mirth at the absurdity he saw through his headset. That is, until the 'mayor' of the simulated city made his textbook request for them to leave. His snickering turned into gales of laughter as the 'attacking monsters' made their appearance in the middle of the mayor's speech. It was exactly like a bad B-grade monster movie. It was so ludicrous, he couldn't help but laugh at it.

Broadside viewed the monsters as he did just about everything else he encountered: threats to be eliminated. "Jared, I reque--" Before he finished speaking, chip data was already flooding into his memory banks. Jared may find the situation hilarious, but that apparently wasn't enough to stop him from sticking to his duties as operator.

Broadside drew the Guard Rifle from over his shoulder, brought it down, and held it across his body, within reach of his slung arm. He organized the data he was receiving into modules for his gun. The first was a clip filled with ranged chip data, which he materialized in his off hand, and socketed into place with practiced ease. He then shifted the rifle up, and drew it back slightly, cradling it in his arm so he could pull back the underside's slide with one hand. With the other, he materialized a small power unit, and inserted it in the cavity revealed by the slide. Once it clicked into place, Broadside let go of the slide, and dropped the gun from the crook of his arm, only to catch the grip with his hand. The rifle was now loaded and ready for use.

Broadside watched the miniature helicopters buzzing about him, wand waited for an opening where he could dash through without knocking a handful of them out of the a-- He leaped forward as the sought after opening appeared, thrusters on his back unit flaring to boost him clear over the mass of tanks that had sprawled out before him. As he took off with his booster jump, the words Be safe, floated through his mind, and the Aegis Defense barrier formed itself around him.

Maintaining his boost momentum, Broadside brought his rifle to bear on his target, and fired a homing blast of energy at the enemy. The capacitors in the rifle cycled, and he fired a second blast as he closed on the target.

Voulge tried his best not to move an inch, just so he wouldn't endanger the curious scientists cirlcing all over his Lancea. He couldn't help but to feel like a gigantic stone monument of himself. "*sigh*...Voulge, feel free to eliminate them. They're just going to hinder our mission, and plus, it's just a hologram, they're not gonna feel a thing." It was true what Marius said, but Voulge was strongly against hurting an innocent civilian, hologram or not.

"No thanks, I think I can handle this." When Voulge tried to speak to the buzzing helicopters, a voice rang through the city, trying to with Voulge and the other two navis. "Oh for crying out loud...They have their own mayor for this fake city!". But this too was again interrupted by the sudden advent of the gigantic monsters coming out from nowhere. The gigantic rocket turtle landed heavily on the city, but thankfully it was near the seaside and it only caused little damage to the city. Voulge instinctively lifted his spear and prepared himself into a battle position...but a sudden thought popped out of his mind.

"Marius..."

"Yes?"

"As you can see, this hologram is suffering from a bug, causing everything to shrink in size..."

"Uhuh."

"So, does that mean we had to fight this monster, a monster that is taller than the tallest building in this city, a monster that could easily destroy this city in mere minute..."

"While we are the size of those little munchkins?... ... ...Yea...we probably would have."

"..."

Both, the calm and cool Navi/Op duo, broke into cold sweat and thanked their god for this little bug. Voulge shook his head and focused into his battle. He raised his spear and changed it into a large dull metal pole with a small ring tightly closed on the very tip. He swung the pole over his head carefully, making sure it doesn't endanger the helicopters or create a windy vortex, and the ring started to grow larger and start making a little spark. When the ring reached it's limit in size, Voulge gave it another twirl and sent the ring flying straight to the some-what soft belly of the turtle. Even if it was to use it's shell to block, the electricity would've surged through the body and at least electrocuted Xamera.

After the short attack, Voulge realized that this monster won't go down fast and he could possibly cause destruction in the city if he was to go with his usual Close-combat style. He looked down to see the army still surrounding him and quickly thought up something. "Marius, activate the [Ryzwald.GMO], I have an idea...". Marius obvious hinted what Voulge was going to do, but he honestly didn't care much except the completion of this mission. "Alright, coming your way. Activating the .GMO"

With a press with his finger, red velvet curtain circles around Voulge and covers him entirely. There's a few second of silence till a large smokescreen explodes from inside the curtain and reveals Ryzwald-Voulge with his (new) signature Happy-sad mask and a complete black cover. "Activate the Puppet Master...". This time, as soon as Marius activated the next stage of his GMO, Voulge was replaced with a...puppet replica, hanging loosely by a string attached all the way to the sky with a blank stare to the ground. The appearance was the same as "Ryzwald-Voulge", but the limbs and the features of the body were like a wooden doll.

Suddenly, a tug of the string moved the entire puppet body into motion and lifted its body to a straight posture. The puppet opened its mouth and a small speaker slid out, "THE DENIZEN OF THIS CITY! HEAR ME OUT!!" The voice coming from the speaker sounded very shy and quiet, but it did have a calming feature as well. The puppet lifted his right, then his left...and 6 other arms from his back, and it extended to almost every nook and cranny of the city. Inside the extended arm was a toy-like miniature Voulge, only as tall as the city's two story building, landing multiple mini puppets onto the street with the megaphone inside its mouth. It moved in an over-dramatic, silly postures, it made the kids in the city laugh during the sudden chaos. The puppet Voulge especially made sure the mini-replica landed near the army surrounding the team as well. "WE MEAN YOU NO HARM, WE ARE ONLY HERE TO ELIMINATE THE MONSTER", Voulge's voice echoed all across the entire city, repeating everything what he said, "WHAT WE ASK FOR IS YOUR COOPERATION TO DEFEAT THE MONSTER AND WE WILL LEAVE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE CIVILIANS ARE KEPT SAFE AND MAKE SURE ALL ARMIES FOCUS FIRE ON THEIR TARGET." While Voulge was trying his best to convince the city people, he made sure not to turn his back around to his opponent and kept his senses up so he could prepare for anything the Rocket turtle throws at him.

"Let's not cause a ruckus, Djinni," Na'im said as he noticed the mini Navis coming into action with various vehicles, "Surely you're calm enough for something so mini."

"Yes yes," Djinni replied with a dull tone in her face and looked at the helicopters flying around her. Glaring at one of them, she quickly turned her head towards it and made a biting movement without actually reaching it. Stretching her legs below her, she stood up again while her feet still wouldn't touch the ground and sighed. "Are we supposed to defeat-" she started, but was interrupted by the important person's speech from below. Listening to it calmly, she cringed slightly and began to speak up after he was finished, "Why are huge things always monsters?" But right as she said this, she noticed the next development which resulted in 3 monsters of various sizes, colors and other things. "Seriously, guys..." she complained immediately and held a hand out towards the moth-like monster, "This is a horrible test."

"While I see your point, this mission is not to disappoint," Na'im said and shuffled through the chips he had seperated from the stack, "I guess our task is to assault the monsters." Looking at the images of the monsters from Djinni's data, he snickered quietly when he understood where the person creating it got his inspiration from. "Any suggestions?" Na'im questioned Djinni, holding a few chips between his fingers.

First she remained quiet to think, but then she started to laugh before looking at the enemy before her quietly and slamming her fists together. "We fight fire with fire. Monsters with monsters!" she shouted and then pointed into the air, "You wanted a monster scenario, then you'll get one!" Holding her arms to the sides, close to her hips, the bracelets started to spin slowly, building up velocity with each passing second, as the ring around her waist did the same. Each ruby on the bracelets and ring emitted a flame, which turned into a ring by the spiralling motion of the jewelry. "Let's get this party warmed up," Djinni said as fire came from her mouth while talking. The fire from the bracelets covered up the hands, melting away the bracelets, and formed claws. The ring of flames from the waist line spiralled downwards, creating a skirt of flames and flaming paws to cover up her feet. Nothing remained of her clothing. But before reaching the bottom, it spiralled back up to her chest where it planted itself firmly on top of her ample chest. Then with a final spark of flames, her hair combusted and became a sea of flames while her eyes and mouth began to light up with the same ferocity. "This is a monster!" she shouted while pointing at the mothfly which seemed to be gunning for her.

"Did she just call herself a monster...?" Na'im asked himself, keeping his head away from the PET so she wouldn't hear him. But he decided to negate the thought and turned back to the PET to continue talking to his PET. "While this is good and all," he started, "The chips you need are still on your call. So tell me what you need to make 'em bleed?"

She remained still in her position, floating above the city in a mass of flames, and eventually grinned as the light of fire came from the small cracks between her teeth. "That Lava Cannon chip," she said and swung her arms to the sides with opened claws at the ends. She then brought them together in front of her as if preparing for an attack. But while she did this, she reappeared elsewhere on the field. Now floating behind Quadorah, while the (now) decoy was still preparing for an attack against Mothfly, she held her arms to the sides again for an attack. The fiery claws flickered for a few seconds before taking the shape of arm-mounted crossbows which were then immediately aimed at Quadorah's body. Without blinking, she commenced her rain of flaming bolts at Quadorah. Not depleting the force of the flames the bolts originated from, they kept on going without stopping while the force and heat left a scorching souvenir on the ground. Laughing out loud, the claws took their original form again and she held her hands into the air. "Now this is power!" she cried out, "You monsters are going down!"

"Getting into your role, huh?" Na'im replied with a dull tone in his voice while he was rubbing his forehead, "As long as we can get this done with ease. I hope Voulge is having luck with his advances for peace."

Crossing her arms over her flaming chest, she chuckled slightly and prepared to next attack. Within an instant she flung her arms to the sides while chucking her head forwards, opening her mouth wide open to launch a large rock-like projectile covered with magma directly at Quadorah. With a loud sound coming from her teeth she shut her mouth again prepared for any retalation, thinking that the monsters would be 'flaming hot' right now for some payback.

Broadside dashes quickly, vaulting the ring of tanks and police vehicles as his boosters ignite. The wash from the boosters causes the blades on one of the military helicopters to buckle from the strain, and the helicopter crashes rather slowly to the ground, since it still was able to give some thrust from the damaged rotors. He prepares his shield as he opens fire on the large reptilian monster. Quadora writhes in pain as it is blasted with electricity. As its heads swing about its body, one head fires a large yellow laser that skims across the ground and up into one of the sky-scrapers on the right.

As the building crashes down in between Broadside and the monster, Djinni warps in behind it. As the dust is kicked up from the impact, Djinni blasts the monster with a barrage of flames. Quadorah tries to move itself away from the flames, but its still partially paralyzed body causes it to fall forward onto the pavement below. Though the monster is completely enveloped in blinding dust, the fiery mistress makes an adjustment to her aim and blasts the monster again with large chunk of lava.

Voulge sends an electrified ring at the flying turtle, electrifying it and making it crash to the ground in the park. He then changes to his .GMO in an attempt to convince the miniature Navis that they were not in fact the enemy. He manages to convince the units around him that the large flying monster was more of a threat. The tanks move in to get a firing position around the monster as the Helicopters move into position and pepper the monster with bullets and hellfire missiles.

The flying bug-like monster charges into Djinni's decoy, flying through it and crashing into a building and toppling it; crushing some of the navis below. It recovers from impact and closes in on its closest target: Voulge. It fires a stream of white strands towards the Navi, all but immobilizing him. Luckily his eyes weren't hit and could still see! The forces below fire wildly in a panic, only a few shots hitting the flying monster.

In the meantime, the forces around Broadside start to stream towards the trio of giants at the fallen building. The tanks fire blindly into the dust, pelting the monster, but a few stray rounds hit Djinni as well!

"How did you like that, freak of nature!?" Djinni shouted as she lifted her fist at the cloud of dust in front of her, where she previously sent her attacks towards. But before continueing with laughing at her previous target, she snapped her head at the soldiers that had accidentally attacked her and continued to shout at them instead, "Use proper equipments, you tiny brats! One more strike against me and you're on your own against these creeps!" Turning her head away from them again, she sighed which caused a small puff of smoke to come from her mouth. "Understand who's on your side," Djinni muttered to herself and looked at the direction of Quadorah. "I know you're inside there, monster..." she said while focusing on the dust surrounding it, "Come out and face me. Or do you wish for me to come in there...?" A wide grin came on her face, as if she had turned mad with power.

"So that is what you suggest," came from Na'im immediately after Djinni had said her last line, as he rubbed his chin while thinking about it.

Snapping out of her power surge, she turned up to look at Na'im and exclaimed, "What?" Holding the back of her hand towards her mouth and lowering her voice to a whisper, she continued to speak to Na'im, "I'm just playing my role. As monster I have to keep fighting, but if he won't come out of there it gets hard to do."

"But it is what we're supposed to do, our quest," the Operator noted and nodded to himself. Tapping against his chin, he continued to think and eventually came with a plan. "Let's bring the fight to another monster. Pick one, which do you prefer?" he said as he sent the image data to Djinni in case she forgot their appearances.

"That winged one," she said and held up an image of it in her fiery claws, then slammed her hands together with the image between them to incinerate the image file.

"Can do," Na'im said and in a flashy movement he swept four chips out of the pile he had at his side, having each chip between two fingers. In the right order, he slotted them into the PET one by one and in the right order. "Let's go, my companion," Na'im ended with and issued the command to strike.

Immediately back into her role as monster she faded out of existance, waving at Quadorah's direction to tease him, and disappeared on the position where her decoy once was. "Missed me?" Djinni whispered as she turned towards Mothrofly with a wide grin, "I brought you something." A blade of flames formed attached to her right arm as Djinni swung it to her right side in a threatening way, but careful enough not to slash any nearby buildings. The intensity of the blade increased drastically as Djinni prepared for the first attack. With a fierce movement she slashed the air between herself and Mothrofly, while the blade sent forth a streak of flames headed for the fluttering monster. "After I'm through with you!" she shouted as she reeled her arm back for another attack, "You'll be ready for the world's bug collection!" With that lame insult, she waved her weapon again for, once again, a streak of flames sent at the moth.

"I know these monster movies have horrible lines," Na'im remarked with his head against the wall, after having hit it, "But I guess yours is the only one that shines."

Not having heard this, Djinni just continued her rampage with her bladed attachment. Holding her other hand against the blade, the two fused together in a sea of flames at the top of her two arms with a single fierce blade coming from them. She held it towards the sky while keeping her eyes on the winged monster, which started to shine with an ominous glow fiercer than before. More flames started sprouting from her eyes as her vision became that of only Mothrofly and nothing else. "Fire!" Djinni suddenly shouted as she lifted the sword over her right shoulder, "Tornado!" With an strong swing of her sword, horizontally, she went along with its movement immediately and started to spin around until her entire body was engulfed with flames. After having spinned around enough to reach a specific point of velocity the ,once attached to her arm, sword appeared from the mass of flames and headed straight for Mothrofly. On the other side, Djinni floated about and bumbled around as her vision seemed to continue spinning around. "Why won't the city stop spinning?" Djinni muttered as she waved her arms around cautiously.

Broadside dashed towards his target in the wake of his stun blasts. Considering his various options to continue his attack, he glanced down-range, mentally calculating the monster's current position relative to himself and the buildings around it. A quick scan of the urban canyon with his visor sensors gave him a rough estimate by the time the second stun blast hit home. He processed the data, and formed an actively changing terrain map in memory that altered itself in real time as he moved and visually perceived more about the city.

Broadside watches in amazement as a beam lances out from the monster and shears clean through the buildings effortlessly. "Jared, the target is armed with military grade beam weaponry." As he speaks to his Operator, the building collapses into the road before him, completely blocking the road ahead while producing a massive dust cloud.

Jared resisted the urge to facepalm as he watched the monster, in all it's B-Grade movie glory, devastate several buildings with a breath attack. Bemused, he muttered to himself... "Wonderful, they even have 'atomic breath'.... Yay horrywood." Then he spoke in a normal tone to his partner. "Broadside, be careful. That cutting beam attack was packing Break. Most of your defenses are useless against it."

"Roger." Broadside killed his boosters, came to a stop, and frowned in disgust as a second enormous dust cloud rose up to obscure his vision even further. He recalled his battle with TankMan where he had learned to hate smokescreens... The battlefield back then had been open, flat, and pocked with deadly patches of missing terrain. This time it was a narrow, cramped... Regardless of the smoke, there's nowhere for the monster to go. Still... He looked at his Guard Rifle. ...knowing where the enemy is isn't enough to hit them accurately, even with a rail gun. And a miss is totally unacceptable. I need an alternate form of detection.

Broadside accessed his data on previous fights, then formulated and discarded several quick solutions. He eventually came up with a half dozen solutions to the current tactical problem, ranging from relatively safe to near kamikaze. The one he finally settled on was inspired by a multi-partite HeelNavi he'd fought several months ago. "I have a plan." Broadside said finally.

"Oh?" JT responded, a note of curious interest evident in his voice. "So, what's the-- Wait, nevermind. We don't have time for that. What do you need?"

"I'll need several MagBolt1's, a RageClaw1, the ElecKnife, and the AirShot1." Broadside replied as he mentally designated a waypoint a few meters shy of the fallen building. He then took a few steps forward, then kicked in his boosters again. A face guard dropped down over his face as he began to move...

"Sure thing." Jared replied as he started slotting in the requested chips.

Broadside, taking advantage of the excellent traction the terrain provided, got himself moving at a good clip before he reached the waypoint. His boost-assisted strides ate up the distance in seconds. He touched down on the spot he'd been aiming for as if to take another step, then bent his knee further than necessary for another stride, and leaped upwards with all thrust directed down and back of him, likely kicking up another spectacular dust cloud in his wake. Pulling his legs up and under him, he cleared the near edge of the fallen building.

Broadside entered the dust cloud airborne. His visibility immediately went from clear to zero. To compensate, the HUD on his visor projected a wire-map overlay of the terrain as he'd seen it before the fall of the building. He smiled behind the silver face guard. If he couldn't see a thing, neither could the monster... And neither can my Netopian observers. Good. No-one will see the emblem. Certain of his concealment, he took his blackened arm out of the sling, and channeled the RageClaw1 and MagBolt1 data to it. The ElecKnife went to his gun. The RageClaw1 formed a powered gauntlet over his forearm, covering the emblem.

As the grid began to rise to meet Broadside, he killed his booster thrust and braced to land his long jump. After his feet touched the ground, he began to lose his balance, and started to fall backwards. Ho thrust his left arm out towards the last place he'd seen Quadorah, and triggered the MagBolt1. The chip did its job, and began pulling at something in the blackness, which served to arrest his fall and propel him towards what he hoped was his target. Regaining his balance, he began to run in that direction. He raised his guard rifle up above his head, and pressed a stud on the side of the grip.

The plasma blade ignited at the end of the rifle, ready for a series of quick, but powerful slashes the moment his hand touched something solid....

Voulge, still in his Doll GMO state, stood completely still as if he wasn't aware of the webbings that surrounded him. "This is just too troublesome...". With all of his eight wooden arms, he tries to slip out of the trap by stretching it from all directions, but it was no use. Voulge managed to get two of his arms through the webbing and tried to break away the webs. As it turns out, it was too sticky and it only made things worse. Then, Voulge started to do something completely weird. One of the arms grabbed the other arm by its base and ripped it out of its socket. Strangely, the other arm was still functional and its entire hand started to rotate vertically. The rotation speed increased drastically in just seconds and made it into a saw. By using the wooden limb's flexibility, the arm zipped through the web to fine square pieces, setting Voulge free from his immobility.

Both Voulge and Marius was a bit ticked off and wanted to finish this as quick as possible; but Marius wanted to go out with a little bang. "Voulge, I'm going to upload something that'll help out with the mood". Voulge was confused and knew little of what his operator was even talking about, but it wasn't really the great time to fuss. "Alright, send the Root GMO now", responding with the chattering of his wooden mouth. Pressing the button, it activated the next stage of Voulge's GMO and the navi's body started to shine, shifting the whole structure into something lot more slender and larger. When the light disappeared, it revealed a figure with deep red spandex, a yellow scarf, and a red mask with big buggy eye.

The navi immediately stroked a fancy pose and started to shout out some nonsense. "BEWARE OF MY FIERCE JUSTICE!, BAKEMONO*! I'LL STOP YOUR DESTRUCTION AT ONCE!. It seemed obvious what type of GMO Marius inserted into Voulge, there's no need to explain what's going on. "MY NAME IS V-RIDER, THE SPEAR OF JUSTICE! THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME YOU'LL HEAR MY NAME!. Everything was quite from Voulge's little speech, it was just too silly. However, there were petite sound of cheering from the city, most likely from the kids who were watching

"ACTIVATE FIERCE MODE!, PREPARE FOR MY V-JAVELIN-KICK, BAKEMONO*!!". His words echoed and his glove and boots started to emit a cheap flashing light. Voulge leaped up several feet in to the air, flipping around at least 3-4 time in mid air, and positioned himself for a aerial kick to the torso of Xamera. Marius was sitting on his desk, with one arm supporting his lazy head, smiling as he was watching the battle. "Oh man, was this a good idea or what. This brings back so much memo..." Then he remembered how he wanted to use this mission to impress the National Guard into letting him join the Police force once again... "...Errg...I got carried away and made Voulge look like a fool...I'm sure I just lost my chance...".

After landing from his attack, Voulge stepped a full step back and crossed his arm to make a V shape. "Let's go! V-DRAGON-POWER, HYPER CROSS SLAP!". Raising the V shaped arms, a very random roar of an animal came from mid air and the lights on Voulge's arm started to shine brighter. The navi dashed straight towards the rocket turtle and gave it a double b***h slap across its face and started to "Ora-ora" the turtle with slaps. "FEEL THE RETRIBUTION AND DESTRUCTION YOU CAUSED THROUGH MY ATTACK!!". As soon as his slapping stopped, Voulge was already in position to follow up his attack "V-DRAGON-POWER, HYPER RISER!". While the lights still flashing bright, Voulge tried to land a swift uppercut with his right fist and tried to raise the turtle a higher with another strike with his left.

Voulge ran out of breath, but he couldn't stop here. As soon as he landed the attack, Voulge somersaulted away from the monster and gathered both arm into a guarding position. "ACTIVATE! FIERCE DEFENCE!", the light from Voulge's arm seeped out and created a thin red shield between the monster and Voulge. From this shield, this would let Voulge catch a breath or two from his quick performance. " *Claps* Good work, but I think you over did it". Voulge responded while he was short of breath and let out a smirk, "You need to capture the heart of the audience, no? Then there's no reason for me to do this silly crap"

Djinni springs into action with a fiery vengeance, teleporting behind the flying monster. After torching the enemy with a pair of flaming attacks, she hurls her sword at Mothrofly. The blade screams towards the giant moth, piercing its body and ripping a tear in one of its rear wings. The blade continues through the monster, driving through a pair of skyscrapers before lodging itself in the side of a building. The monster cries out in pain, nearly deafening the fiery mistress as it practically blows her away with a frantic beat of its wings. The massive torrent launches Djinni and several tanks backwards, slamming her into a building several dozen feet away. The Helicopters fire on the monsters, but the surviving tanks drive away as fast as the could.

Broadside enters the fray, drawing the multi-headed monster towards him and sending a damaging pulse of electricity through it. The monster struggles as it's drawn to Broadside, and screams as it's body is slashed by a pair of electrical blade strikes. It cries out in pain, whipping its heads every which way and striking Broadside in the chest. He is launched into the air, his legs clipping the top of the fallen building and leaving him flipping in the air. Quadorah flaps its large wings, clearing the cloud of dust, giving the incoming tanks and helicopters a chance to open fire and hit.

Voulge seems to play along with the theme, clearing the webs and attacking the flying turtle with an array of wild flaming attacks. The Xamera charges the Navi, but Voulge leaps over the monster as it streaks past and rams a building behind him. Voulge activates his shield as the tanks behind him attack the monster while it's down.

"Gotcha!" Djinni shouted as she noticed the sword had pierced the monster's wing and made a fist of her hand. But as she heard the sound made by the monster, she crossed her arms in a defensive position out of instinct. While gritting her teeth and having her eyes closed, enduring the high-pitched sound, she didn't realize the monster had started to move its wings to produce a giant torrent of wind directed at her. With great speed, Djinni felt herself getting forced backwards and was incapable of holding onto something until her back connected directly with a building. Her eyes flashed open and her arms just fell next to her as Djinni's mouth opened to let out a scream of pain, but no sound was heard. Hitting the ground with her butt, her legs sprawled across the ground, she just looked around and shook her head a few times. "Was that really necessary," she muttered and scratched the back of her head. But as she attempted to reach her head with her fiery claws, she realized she couldn't and only hit her head after reaching further. "What... Happened...?" she muttered and tried to look upwards as if to look at the back of the head.

"D-Djinni..." Na'im stammered, and although his face wasn't seen by Djinni he held his fingers in front of his face, "L-Look down. Now. You might want to pay attention to your current situation." Na'im's face gradually became red upon the tanned skin and awaited Djinni's reaction.

"Situation...?" Djinni said as she looked down to understand what her Operator was talking about, "What are you-" Her voice ended abruptly, although her mouth still moved, as she saw the result of a huge stream of wind against a mass of fire. Her tanned skin color shone nicely on the light of the city as her entire body was void of flames or clothing, as the wind had blown away any presence of fire. "NA'IM!" Djinni blurted out as she immediately covered her private parts, "You'd better get that GMO air-proof next time I use it!" A blush fluttered over Djinni's face as she looked at the buildings around her, knowing miniature Navis were in there and continued to shout, "Don't stare at me!" While she had an arm across her chest, she snapped her fingers a few times to create a flame and immediately used this to create her fiery clothes across her top and bottom. Closely followed after that were the other flame imbued equipment she wore, including her hair. Djinni stood up slowly, the Float Shoes program kicking in to let her levitate above the city again, and stared at the moth monster with flames bursting from her eyes. All over her body the flames seemed to get more fierce with each second while she just kept staring at Mothrofly and gritting her teeth. Behind Djinni, in the distant sky, a red moon appeared which cued Na'im's interference with his Navi's personal agenda.

"Don't get angry!" he shouted instantly, knowing she wanted to make the entire city sink in lava as revenge for this humiliation, "You only have one enemy!" Hurriedly Na'im looked through his chips to see if there was anything of a plan to make Djinni capable of getting revenge without putting the entire city in jeopardy. "Ah," he suddenly reacted after seeing a few chips, "Use this, Djinni. It's better than laying waste to the entire city..." Quickly thinking to continue this message to her, he came up with a small idea, "Besides... Won't this be in your favor of getting famous?"

Djinni remained quiet, the flames still moving agressively around her body, and eventually just scoffed. The moon disappeared from sight and she turned to Na'im. "I don't need nudity to become famous," she said, crossing her arms, "But it's still humiliating to be seen like this."

"That's why I'm sending this," Na'im continued and sent the chips.

Arching her back, Djinni moved her head from left to right to prepare for the coming strikes she'd execute. "Very well," she muttered and held her right arm to the side as the entire arm became a rifle made of flames. She then positioned it so it'd point at Mothrofly and held it with her other hand. "Click click," Djinni muttered as she held her hand back, then forwards again as if loading an actual rifle. Slowly she walked over a path of air provided by her NaviCust programming towards Mothrofly and while keeping her weapon aimed at the monster. The flames coming from her eyes flickered just as she fired her weapon, setting a lock-on on the monster's heat pattern. Still moving towards it she turned her hands back to normal, each having a claw of flames, and started the next attacks. Liquid gold came from her claws, some of it hitting the ground, but steadily became molded into two rings. A small flame remained floating in the middle of the rings, but changed element as soon as the chip data hit it causing it to become an orb of electricity with sparks coming from it as if they were flames. In a swift motion, she crossed her arms and swung them to the sides while releasing the rings on their one-way path towards the monster. Eventually she had gotten close enough to the monster to exact her revenge in her own opinion. Whether it was stunned or not, had flown to the sky or not, she looked at the monster and grinned wide. Once again the flames close to her eyes started to flicker as they locked on on the heat pattern of the monster while a red light come from between her teeth, shining out of her mouth. Cocking her head backwards and immediately slamming it forwards, she opened her mouth and released an unseen force out of it that would only reveal itself as an explosion after connecting with something. Immediately snapping her head back to its normal position, she grinned and blew out a small flame from between her lips. "Don't pull that wind crap anymore, will ya?" she said as she looked at Mothrofly while shaking her fist at it, "It hurts my image."

Marius stared at Voulge's little costumed hero state and started to remember his own childhood. He couldn't really remember how old he was, but he remember how it was a rainy day when he saw his first Net-Ranger show through a foreign channel. It wasn't a very big hit back in BrightLand because it was a foreign show, but Marius watched it like a cult ever since. He couldn't understand a single thing the show was saying, but it was clear of what they were fighting for, and it certainly had a impact towards Marius' decision to become a policeman. Snapping back to reality, Marius shook his head to focus and slid in the battle chips. "Go get'em, hero"

"Showtime!" Voulge stooped out of his defensive stance and took on the offense with both his fists up towards Xamera. "Activate, V-RIDER POWER ACTIVATE! V-TECH-POWER!" Just like last time, a mysterious sound came out of nowhere in the sky, but this time was a revving of an engine. A car literally flew out of nowhere and disassembled into armor pieces for Voulge. It attached one by one to his chest, shoulder, arm, leg, and for some reason not his crotch area. Two, smaller cars also came up after Voulge's transformation and formed into weapons. A Limousine became a very unrealistic laser gun and a sports car turned into a cheap plastic short sword

"Now with the power of the V-EHICLES with me! You stand no chance, Bakemono!!" With his new set of toys, Voulge fearlessly ran towards the turtle and positioned his laser gun in front of him. However, he didn't fire or anything, he just maneuvered through the buildings and tried to get as close as possible to the monster. It was about the range where there wouldn't be any space for the bullet would spread over and hit the buildings. "TAKE THIS, V-LIMO-LASER!". He pulled the trigger rapidly, shooting off small laser particles. It was definitely weak, but with the amount of it all coming at once, it was sure to do some damage.

"Grr, this monster can even withstand the V-LIMO-LASER? Then how about the V-SPORTS-SWORD!". He holstered the laser gun and held the sword with two hands. The blade extended into a good long-sword range and Voulge skillfully swung it towards any open limb of the turtle. It was mostly due to the fact that Voulge didn't trust his own (cheap, plastic) sword could cut through the thick turtle shell. After the swing, Voulge waited for the turtle to be intimidated and draw back to its shell and tried to stab it through the hole. "You're pretty sturdy! Bakemono! Next time, I'll get you for sure!" Voulge withdrew the sword and holstered it right next to the gun and back flipped away from the Turtle.

"KUUGH" Broadside exhaled involuntarily as Quadorah smashed him in the chest hard enough to launch him bodily into the air. Before he knew it, he felt the edge of something solid as it struck him in the shins. The white armored Navi started to tumble end-over-end through the air as he sailed backwards over the building Quadorah has knocked over earlier. By the time, he was high enough to see the tops of the buildings whenever he was inverted, he knew he was in trouble. What goes up, must come down after all.... At this rate, I'm going to land on my head. Wait, I still have that Airshot1 loaded into my boosters from earlier! Time for a reversal.

Broadside began feathering his boosters to counter the spin as he sent a text request to his operator for more chips. The ground (from his perspective) began to rise to meet him about the time he managed to counter the spin, which left him upright and facing Quadorah once more. By now he felt sort of light headed, perhaps disoriented a bit, but he wasn't in danger of landing on his head any longer. I'll take what I can get... With that thought, Broadside dumped the Airshot1 data directly into his booster protocols, then switched them on. He found himself riding a rocket as the incredible propulsive power of the AirShot not only canceled his deceleration, but also launched him towards Quadorah at high and ever increasing velocity.

Broadside brought his rifle into line with his target as he literally flew through the air towards it. The chip data he was receiving from his Net-Op was shunted into the rifle and fired almost as he got it. The two Thunder1's left the barrel of the Guard Rifle one after the other and were already homing in on Quadorah when Broadside's RageClaw encased arm began to glow with the power of a MagBolt1. He pulled his fist back as he neared the target, with his legs curled up beneath him in order to clear the demolished building, and prepared to deliver his best flying left-hook in the wake of his stunning barrage. Once the punch was thrown, the MagBolt's magnetic pull and the Airshot's insane velocity would do the rest....

Djinni gets over her little wardrobe malfunction and opens fire on the moth monster. Bullets tear across it's hide as it tries to get some distance from Djinni and manages to dodge one of the zaprings sent in it's direction. The second finds its mark, bringing it down to the ground below and smashing a couple buildings under it's bulk. Though it falls behind one of the larger buildings, Djinni had already locked on to the monster and fires accurately through the building. The round torches the enemy's hide and blasts it into yet another building. It trembles as it tries to recover.

Voulge, in the meantime, attacks the Xamera with an array of over-the-top power ranger-esque attacks. He blasts the enemy with a pair of close range shotgun blasts, a few bits bouncing off its hide and nicking Voulge's armor. Undeterred, Voulge slashes at one of its arms and nearly lops it off. The Xamera screams as it withdraws into its shell. Voulge thrusts his blade into one of the holes, the blade stopping with a metallic scrape. Voulge tries to retrieve the blade, but it won't budge. Xamera starts to rotate rapidly, carrying Voulge with it! After spinning several times, Voulge loses his grip on the sword and it thrown into the bottom of a small sky-scraper. The rest of the building collapses on top of him, pinning his legs and his left arm. However, his head, chest, and right arm are unhindered. Off in the distance, Xamera's head emerges from its shell, holding the sword in it's large maw. It clamps down, shattering the sword into several pieces as it falls to the ground. The tanks and helicopters surrounding the turtle open fire, only a few shots hitting its head.

Broadside reverses directions with a well-timed boost from his thrusters and soars over the multi-headed monster. He fires a pair of electrical blasts and zaps he enemy. It retaliates with a pair of orange beams from two of its mouths, destroying Broadside's barrier and blasting him with energy. Unfortunately for it, the blast increased Broadside's velocity; making the magnetic pull of the magbolt that much more devastating. Quadora is dragged along the ground and rammed into a large skyscraper with a loud crash. Due to Broadside being airborne, the monster is literally dragged up the side of the building before Broadside gets out of range. The magnetic pull dies and the monster falls back down to the ground with a loud boom.

((Grim, I changed my element from Normal/Sword to Fire/Sword.))

The V-Rider was stuck underneath the rubbles after being thrown by Xamera. With his left arm and legs stuck, he really couldn't do anything and he would be a sitting duck. With his open arm, he started to dig through the rubbles to free his left. However, Voulge needed to be extremely cautious so he wouldn't accidentally throw the rubbles hazardously into other buildings. Conflicts ran from side to side in Voulge's mind, one side was screaming at his body to survive and dig faster, while the other was thinking about the danger it might cause to the civilians. Suddenly, Voulge stopped and thought to himself, "Voulge...come to your sense, there's always other options...". Lying beneath the rubble like a dead body, Voulge tried to calm his heart and think of another solution. "Heh, I never seen you so disoriented, Voulge." The voice of Marius came to Voulge through a private connection.

"Marius...", Voulge, as strange as it was while he was still in the spandex costume, was feeling regretful. "Don't be stupid! These are just fakes! I know how much you care about the civilians' safety, but that doesn't mean you should give up your fucking life!". This was surprising for Voulge as well. He always thought Marius was used him as a tool if his own accord, never as a friend. Both of them surely didn't wanna see one another like this, and both of them smirked and nodded their heads. "Your Will Shall be Done!", "That's what I'm talking about!"

Marius slid in the AreaGrab chip into his PET, which let Voulge escape from the Rubble with ease. Voulge did feel awkward when he couldn't think of this option. Appearing just in front of Xamera, the Ryzwald.GMO was starting to dissipate into tiny fragments resembling an ember. What it finally revealed was a different Voulge. The changes included the fire-wing Pauldron, the silvery gauntlet, extra armoring to the leg, and even Avaria-Lancea as well. Voulge flipped his weapon around and faced straight at Xamera. "Finish him off.", Marius snapped his finger and Voulge rushed in with a powerful dash. His Lancea transformed into the silver War Scythe and positioned it right around Voulge's Hip. He tried to stab right through the shell and drain the life force into his own.

Voulge retreated back a step or two and shifted his weapon into a trident and metal net. He threw the trident right at the spot where his war scythe should've stabbed and threw the heavy metal net right over the giant turtle. "Just one more push!". Voulge's gauntlets changed into a dagger like claws and took one big leap towards the turtle and swiped its arm or leg. Grabbing whatever he could of Xamera, Voulge used all his strength to pull or push the turtle straight to the small patch of sea just around Voulge. With the help of his paralyzing tridents and metal net, it would certainly make it easier for Voulge to throw it to the sea. When Xamera is to be thrown to the water, it would make it highly vulnerable to electricity and lower its capability to use its rocket limbs to escape.

Broadside rose quickly, and easily cleared the building. He pulled back his electrified fist, and flared his up-angled boosters to angle in at the target. He realized something was wrong when his trajectory didn't change in the slightest. His normal-strength boosters didn't even begin to have the thrust capacity to overcome the propulsive power of his AirShot1 augmented overboost. Not good. And now, he found himself sailing clear over the tops of Quadorah's heads. He realized he had grossly miscalculated, and as a result, had just completely missed the target. Not good.

Broadside now found himself sailing helplessly through the air, high enough to see the tops of the tallest skyscrapers in the miniature city. He was disgusted with himself, and it showed in the unamused scowl that appeared on his face. Quadorah took the opportunity to compound this problem by shooting him in the back, which not only eliminated the last of his defenses and damaged him, it also served to increase his velocity even further.

"Now, that looked like it hurt." Jared winced as he saw his Navi take the hit, and so soon after the crushing acceleration of the Airshot, too. "What a mess. You alright?"

"Do you have anything I can use to slow down?" Broadside responded, obviously worried as his attempts to slow down with his boosters continued to fail.

"Erm, no. No I don't."

"Then do you still have a Guard1?

"Yeah, gimme a sec..." Jared replied absently as he reached down, grabbed the chip from the case, and slotted it in. "Sent. Good luck."

"Acknowledged." Broadside replied as the data reached him. He twisted his torso, reached forward with his left arm, and summoned the curved shield in his clawed hand. He then brought his legs up and planted his feet against the back side of the guard as he stuck his right arm out behind himself as a balance. He reached the apex of his uncontrolled flight, and began to lose altitude. As the ground rushed up to meet him, he tightened his grip on the rim of the guard, and braced for what would be a hard landing. The shield was at least providing a larger surface area, and slowing him down a little....

Broadside didn't have to wait long. The guard hit the ground jarringly, forcing him to bend his knees to partially absorb the shock. He let go of the edge of the shield as he rode the impact, then kicked off from it with his boosters as the guard flipped down in a rolling fashion. The shield flipped up behind him, crashed into something, and disintegrated a moment later. He cut the thrust, redirected his boosters, and fired them again before he hit the ground, softening his final running touchdown immensely. As something crashed loudly somewhere behind him, Broadside continued running and announced "Made it." almost conversationally.

"That... Th-- You..... You are totally insane! You know that?" Jared ended his statement with a stress releasing sigh. When he spoke again, his voice was almost pleading... "Please don't do that again."

"Request noted." Broadside replied absently as he looked around. Now in the outskirts of the city, he found the buildings here were much smaller and more spread out than they were in the inner city area. He eventually spotted a large parking lot in front of a shopping center of some kind. That will do nicely. was his thought as he turned and headed towards it, careful not to step on the buildings along the way.

As he reached the center of the lot, Broadside looked about to make sure it was large enough to suit his needs. He nodded to himself after a quick check, then deactivated his elecknife bayonet, and slung the rifle back over his shoulder. "I request heavy weapons support." Broadside said suddenly as he reached up and tapped the emblem on his chest.

Emergency Override: Engaging Combat Form Protocols scrawled itself across Jared's screen, prompting the operator to mutter "There goes the neighborhood...."

As the text finished displaying on Jared's screen, Broadside's entire body began to glow softly, as if he were about to jack out. The details and features of his form faded into a human-shaped mass of light. The mass of light soon lost its shape, and began expanding into an enormous sphere. The sphere eventually stopped growing, and contracted once again to form a massive glowing silhouette. The silhouette's features solidified into Broadside's true form: that of a massive 15 foot tall, heavily armed, and well armored Mech.

((Broadside.GMB active.))

As Broadside's suite of sensor protocols came online, he began actively scanning for the locations of his allies and his enemies. It took only a few moments for him to localize them by picking out their unique signals from among the ground clutter. He filtered the signals through his IFF database, and separated friend from foe. Once he had his enemies picked out, he began feeding the data into the satellite up-link Avecia had created for him along with the data for the ElecReel1's Jared had send him.

The effect was immediate, as a trio of remotes appeared in the skies above the city, and began falling towards the ground. These remotes were a new model Jared hadn't seen before, each much larger than the H/K's Broadside normally employed. At first glance they appeared to be giant tops, like those found in a toy store, except they had someone faceted sides instead of being completely round. The reason for the off design became apparent as the four elongated hexagonal facets opened in much the same manner as a flower blooming.

The odd things arrested their descent, and began hovering in place. They now appeared to consist of a quartet of elongated hexagonal panels canted downwards at an angle, all rotating around a central disc. The shield-like panels were connected to the central disc by a set of plain, yet durable looking metal armatures that looked roughly the same as the upper arm segment of Broadside's Gigas Arm.

Their 'petals' now extended and their positions stabilized, the four unidentified remotes executed their directives. They each emitted four scarlet targeting lasers, like those used by TAG sighting gear, from beneath their hexagonal panels. The beams, initially pointing outwards along the line of the panels' cant, swept quickly inwards, the beams converging upon their targets. When the quartet of targeting lasers all intersected with their remote's intended target, the remote quickly amassed a charge at the center point between the four spinning panels, and fired a charged particle cannon blast at the target. A moment later, that particular remote would quickly charge and fire a second time. After their shots had been fired the targeting lasers were switched off, and the attacking remote would push away from the ground by closing its petals again. The remote would rise into the sky, its form losing resolution, and then vanish at the same spot it had appeared. Each of the three remotes went through this entire process, from appearance to disappearance in little more than 15 seconds. And, apart from their charge sequence and firing their particle cannons, they emitted not a sound either before or after their attacks.

Laughing out loud while keeping her eyes on the monster she had attacked before, she executed the next attacks without flinching. The laughing subsided and the data of the chips inserted by Soryu was being read by her internal programs. "Don't bother getting up. Welcome to my hell," Djinni said as she glared at Mothrofly.

"Try to aim at its vitals now its down," Na'im commented as he initiated the process to start a Signature Program, "These moves will put on our work a crown."

As her Operator spoke, Djinni had already created a large flame in each claw and prepared herself mentally. "Our job is to eliminate the opposition," she muttered as he moved her arms to cross them in front of her chest with the claws opened so the flame could flicker upwards, "It'd be better if you stop preventing this outcome. It'd allow me to make your suffering end faster." From within the flames of her claws came a piece of metal that was colored gold. From each claw came two pieces of gold in a square form, one on the left side and one on the right side, that had two openings to breath fire from. With a swift motion she swung her arms to her sides, causing the flames of her claw to shatter and reveal a golden weapon resembling a flamethrower with the flame she had created in her claws at the front of each. The sides swung open, taking the vents with them, and flipped around so the vents would be pointing away from the front. Her eyes shimmered slightly from the flames coming out of the vents of the flamethrowers as she aimed each hand at the wings of Mothrofly at their respective sides. Without a word she commenced the attack in the form of concentrated beams of fire towards the enemy.

"Now follow it up with another attack, Djinni," Na'im said and notified his Navi of the Signature Program he had initiated previously, "With these attacks, its chances for survival are slim and mini."

Turning her body so her right side would point towards Mothrofly, she swung her arms to the sides and stretched them as far as she could. The flames from the flamethrowers increases bit by bit and eventually went over the weapons entirely, allowing Djinni to crush them by piercing her fingers through the gold and crushing it by making a fist of her hand. Djinni's entire back was swallowed by the flames coming from each claw as they made the platform for the next attack. From the flames came a long concentrated beam of fire which rested on Djinni's arms and back. Tilting her head forwards slightly to make more room for the weapon, she looked at her front hand where the flames started moving. A small golden box was put in the hand, created by melting her original outfit within the flames, that had a small ruby on it as button to initiate the attack. A small grin appeared on Djinni's face as she pressed the button, causing the projectile on her arms to launch with great speed at Mothrofly.

Voulge snaps to his senses and teleports out from under the rubble. He strikes Xamera with a vampiric strike before immobilizing it with a net. He sinks his claws into it's shell and throws it into the lake nearby. It sinks below the surface, the helicopters and tanks were unable to lock on to their target and fire. A dull rumbling could be heard and the ground below began to shake. A large bulge in the earth next to the lake moves quickly towards Voulge, like a large snake moving under a carpet. The bulge hits Voulge, the upthrust of rock throwing the Navi skyward. The bulge makes a wide right turn to face back towards the tumbling Navi. The ground explodes as Xamera bursts from the ground. It's head and limbs have retreated into its shell, replaced with plumes of flame directed in one direction and causing the shell to spin rapidly. Xamera's aim is good, but its injuries cause it's flight path to be slightly off. Luckily for Voulge, the underside of the shell crashes into him and drives him back to the ground. If the equator of the shell found it's mark, the hard, sharp spikes lining it would have cleaved Voulge in two like a rocket-powered saw blade. Xamera makes a banking left turn and dives back towards Voulge to make another pass.

Broadside uses his Guard Shield to soften his landing, carving a swath of destruction through the increasingly rural areas. The shield does a good job of protecting the Navi and shatters after being fully used. Broadside finds some space and activates his heavy combat form. He starts to target the monsters using multiple airborn lasers, attempting to attack as many as he could. Xamera couldn't be found, and Mothrofly was partially protected by the tall buildings surrounding it, but Quadora was still within range and clear to be fired upon. The bits lock on and attack the monster with an electrical beam, prompting the winged lizard to take to the air and avoid the secondary blasts. It pauses in the air, its four heads stopping on Broadside. It's eyes start to glow with energy, drawing every last ounce of power left in it's rapidly failing body. It lets out a booming roar as its large outstretched wings swing back with devastating force. An entire block of buildings fragments behind it from the torrent of air, looking similar to nuclear blast footage. Quadorah moves at a scarily unnatural pace in a collision course with Broadside.

It lets out one last roar of defiance as it rams Broadside straight on, driving the mechanized Navi back almost 50 feet. The impact creates a massive shockwave that rends the very ground they stand on, creating a fault-like fracture perpendicular of the monster's path, right at the spot of impact. Broadside's low center of gravity and massive weight keeps him upright, but certainly doesn't lessen the damage caused to his chest armor. Broadside finally slides to a stop, the monster nearly embedded in his chest slumps down to the ground. Its broken and battered body is completely still, the glow from its 8 eyes fading away.

Djinni proceeds to bring a little punishment down on the partially disabled monster, roasting it with flames. Mothrofly screams out in pain as it's body is severely burned. It flaps its wings frantically, the combination of the flames and impacts causes its wings to whither and break. Djinni's final attack blasts the monster with devastating force, driving it through several buildings before it finally came to rest in a quad surrounded by apartment buildings. It turns over onto it's belly, its back exposed to the sky above. It's furry covering is seared off, showing a large crack going down it's mid line. The crack starts to widen, possibly due to its exoskeleton warping from the heat.

As soon as Voulge hit the ground from the spinning tackle, he was sent straight back to the ground, causing a huge cloud of smoke from the rubble. Voulge moved without thinking and instinctively readied his iron claw. With the Xamera preparing for his third hit, Voulge was also preparing his own. His claw on his right arm was out forward and towards his enemy and the Avaria-Lancea geared up on his left. The lance was shrouded with a small tower of fire and it transformed into a large spiraling Jousting Lance that even Voulge was having some trouble with holding it out with only his left. Calm and equipped, all the navi had to do was wait till the right moment.

When Xamera was finally within two seconds away from Voulge, the soldier extended his arm out and tried to grab anything he could with his rageclaw. He wasn't picky, a Hole, arm, the shell, he would've been happy even if it was one of the rocket burning right on his face. He hoped that he grabbed hold onto something of Xamera and pounded it straight down to the ground with all his might. It seems like Voulge was pissed off to the point where he didn't care about the (fake, virtual) casualty it might cause from doing so. He tried to hold him down for a second or two with only his claw, hoping that the only group of army still helping Voulge would fire at the turtle and actually be some good help. Voulge didn't even check if Xamera was struggling or not, he pulled the Jousting Lance back with his left and tried to stab it straight through the shell, flesh, and the pavements. With the lance's destructive power, it caused an explosive gust of wind and flame throughout the city when the Lance created the fiery explosion on contact. Letting go of the grip with his rageclaw and shifting his Lancea back to its original form, Voulge kicked away from the ground and performed a swift back flip in mid air, hopefully landing in a safe area where it wouldn't hinder him and the civilians of the city.

Standing straight and tall, Voulge let out a big sigh and calmed himself from the assault he just performed a second ago. It was a surprising sight for Marius since he's use to seeing the calm and held back Voulge during a fight, but he just went all out. "Marius." Voulge called with a very low tone, which was a sign of Voulge being calm. "I'm hoping that the attack did some damage to our enemy, but we're far from finishing him off.". Marius was starting at his PET, reviewing footages after footages of the current battle, hoping to find out something that would help out his navigator. "You're right; we won't be able to finish him any time soon. Especially with Broadside, who had the elec chips we needed to fight against our enemy is now knocked out.". Now Marius was looking into the footage that occurred just a few minute ago, and realized something. He saw the damage and destruction that Xamera caused when he was thrown into the lake, creating a snaking tunnel all over the city. He snapped his finger and smiled, Marius was confident that his idea would work.

The operator took out three chips out from his pocket and slid it into his PET one by one in the order: Phoenixshot1, Guard1, and IronShell1. The list of chips sent confused Voulge as he really couldn't see what Marius was heading towards with his strategy, "What exactly do you want me to do with these?". Marius nodded his head and twirled his finger as a response to his navi's question, " *Tisk tisk*, I thought you were smarter than that, Voulge. Use them in the order I sent you, and activate them when I tell you so.". His eyes flared with both excitement and anxiety, "First, fire a concentrated shot of the Phoenixshot1. Thought it would be easier to just fire normally, it isn't the case since YOU want to save the city.". Voulge nodded and lifted his Lancea up like a rifle. "Commencing Battle Routine!"

The Lance was set ablaze spontaneously and transformed into an extremely long, thin hunting rifle with a sharp bayonet at the end of the barrel. Voulge aimed at his enemy with the scope and steadied his breathing and sighting. His finger was twitching near the trigger as wanted to fire as soon as possible, but his rationality was yelling to take the right shot. When he could find the perfect shot, the trigger was pulled and it fired a bullet that set a trail fierce fire just behind. "Now! Activate Guard1 and focus entirely on the defense!". With no hesitation, Voulge followed the word as he changed the rifle back to the lance, pinning it down to the ground with its blade, and summoned a large silvery shield just in front of him. "Done!", yelled the faithful navi. "Now things get serious! Acitvate IronShell1 and control it the way I say it!".

This time, Voulge had a second of doubt in his mind. The IronShell is a very destructive chip that would destroy everything in its path. Was Marius being completely disregarding the objective of his mission? To protect the city from the Monster! Not to destroy the city as well?! However, this wasn't a time to really think it through, Voulge needed to trust his operator. "IronShell!". Voulge summoned a pillbug like object that rushed in as soon as it appeared. "Guide it through the rubbles or the road till it reaches the tunnel made by the Turtle! That way, you can lessen the damage and may catch the turtle in a surprise attack!". Now Marius had to say that!, as Voulge thought to himself. He sighed a breath of relief and attempted to control the direction where the IronShell was heading to. Voulge tried to control the Ironshell as much as he could, and put it on to the tunnel and rubbles. It was harder than he could imagine, the IronShell's impulse to attack and roll was a definite roadblock for Voulge to have full control of his own creation. He position the IronShell in the angle that is straight towards the turtle and let go of the control. The pillbug object was heading full force at the turtle, knowing no restriction of its own limit. If it was to hit or not, Voulge didn't really care and tried the same thing again.

"Can't do anything more, huh?" Djinni said with a smile as she looked at Mothrofly, "You creeps are pretty weak, I mean... You weren't even capable of taking one of us out. Or even a decent amount of damage." Following this, Djinni started to laugh which was interrupted by a crash coming from behind her and a trail of destruction. Turning around, she had noticed it was Broadside who had crashed into the ground with some kind of protection Djinni couldn't identify. "Good thinking, Bro-!" she shouted, not knowing if she coud hear him, but stopped as she saw the monstrosity fall into the direction of Broadside. Incapable of seeing either Broadside or the monster from this distance, Djinni cried out to her friend, "Broadside! Broadside! Can you hear me!? Answer me!" No answer came, but probably because the distance between the two was too big. Djinni didn't realize this though. She tilted her head to the ground, clumsily avoiding any movement from the position where Broadside had landed. Tears rolled over Djinni's cheeks as she thought of her fallen friend, holding a fist close to her chest. "Broadside..." she muttered and closed her eyes, although this did not stop the tears, "These memories with you... I shall cherish them..." Within her mind she could see the many memories she had made with Broadside.

Only to realize they had barely any memories to share. Twiddling with her thumbs, she quickly fabricated some memories in her mind about the two so she could continue crying. Thinking about the time the two ran across the grass panels, hand in hand, and making a vow to remain together forever while standing beneath a large beautiful sakura tree, a small smile formed on Djinni's face. But a large claw slashed Broadside, making the image disappear within her mind as three large shadows appeared. "It's all their fault," she whispered and opened her eyes slowly. Flames and sand started to spiral around Djinni like a whirlwind as she lifted her head and immediately turned to Mothrofly, once again accidentally avoiding any sign of life from Broadside's spot. "Na'im, please..." she whispered while she stared at Mothrofly, flames spouting from her eyes in a fit of anger, "Assist me for my revenge."

In real life, Na'im had opened a bag of potato chips and had started eating them while waiting for his Navi to snap out of her own world. "You finished?" he muttered as he nibbled on a potato chip, "I'll send you these. They ought to ensure a victory to seize." Looking at the screen, he glanced sideways from Djinni and started muttering to himself in his mind. Broadside can't be deleted. He had plenty of health data left to remain intact, Na'im thought, I wonder if there's any program to keep track of your allies' health data... That'd be nice.

While holding her right hand out to the front Djinni collected the sand that was swirling around her within the palm of her hand. Realigning her hand slightly, she held her two hands close to each other and slammed them together, causing the sand to disperse and appear around Mothrofly's location as a tornado of sand. The sandring's data slowly shrunk the tornado, wanting to hold Mothrofly firmly in its position. Djinni swung her hands to the sides from their last stance and, while doing this, flung two of the rubies embedded into her bracelets onto the ground. The area around the rubies trembled slightly as the rubies started to rise on a golden pillar. The final form of the wand was approximately as big as Djinni and shone its crimson light on the sky, commanding the meteors to crash down upon her mortal foes. "No more mercy," Djinni said as she held her fist out at Mothrofly, "You'll pay for what you freaks did to my friend." Flames kept spiralling around Djinni through all this but increased their speed as Djinni approached the end of her speech. "Even if it means destroying the city," she ended with and awaited the storm of meteors she had commanded to come with arms raised to the sky.
