XIII rammed his sword into the floor and used it to fully right himself. He was in better condition than before thanks to Machman's assist, but he still was a little worse for wear.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks, but please don't worry about me. Our opponent will be next, he's somewhere in that facility over there." He pointed to a building-like structure int he compound area they were in now, after having crossed the fence. "Thats the database he's hacking into, most likely to find information on the experiments going on here. I'm not sure as to his motivation, but I do know that if you can siphon any of the information that stored in a terminal like that, it would be worth untold sums of money on the black market. I think that would be motivation enough for anyone, huh?"
He stood up more, pulling the sword out of the ground and re-sheathing it as the final bits of the heal chips did their thing. A fire was once again burning in XIII's eyes, a need to know what was going on, and to stop this from continuing. "Of course, thats just speculation. Who knows what this fella is up to in there? But lets find out! Come on!"
XIII ran towards the building, ducking low and moving stealthily along the side of the building, nearing closer and closer to the entrance. Even though he was injured, the navi was showing no signs of it, except for the occasional wince when he bumped his left shoulder into the wall. Still a little sore in some parts.
He quickly entered the room, trying to stay in the shadows to conceal any movement, and looked around on the inside. The inside of the structure looked almost like a mix between a laboratory and a prison. The occasional testing and experiment areas were scattered here and there amongst cell blocks in the two level structure. All were empty, most still intact, with probably two cells bar's having been twisted, and one of the experiment areas windows had been smashed open on the second floor, as he could see past the upper catwalk. The place, even though it had been recently used up until its evacuation earlier today, now had eerie feeling permeating its interior, as if it were deserted for a long time. At the end of the row, near the back cell, he could swear he saw the occasional flash of light, silhouetting a navi's outline against the wall.
"Mach, did you see that?"
