Druidman:Timekiller

A gust of wind blew across the Net, bringing in leaves that swirl to form... Druidman.

Druidman stoood up and glanced at his surroundings. "The clean and neat theme of this net should make viruses easier to track, dude." He said.

"Okay, then, let's do it!" Steve enthused.

Druidman found a small virus trail and began to follow it through the area.

((Right. Good thing you reminded me, I forgot. On another note, this next turn is highly experimental on my part.))

"Only three viruses, although that big one looks nasty." Steve commented.

"Yeah, dude. I wonder... How strong do you think I can pump up that Boomerang1?" Druidman mused.

"If it's the only thing you did, I'd imagine quite a bit." Steve figured. "You gonna try it?" Upon receiving his Navi's affirmnent, he slotted in said Boomerang1.

Druidman bent his now-drawn scimitar to a boomerang like shape. Focusing all of his power that he could muster into his blade, he began to strafe around the viruses, looking for an ample spot to launch his now deadly blade across the field of battle. Gripping the almost sickly green blade, Druidman held back a bated breath as he hurled the twirling boom-itar at the viruses.

Druidman blinked as he caught his straightened scimitar. "That, went way better then I could have hoped, dude." he said swiftly as he scooped up his reward.

Steve could hardly contain his joy in his words. "Yeah, keep this up, Druidman, and we'll be real hot stuff!"

Druidman, however, was off looking for more stuff to do.

LET'S ROCK!
Druidman suddenly found himself buffeted by a strong gust of wind. "Dude!" was all he could manage to spit out as he was promptly knocked down.

"We won't be able to do much of anything until you trash that Windbox... Okay! I've got a plan! Cannon! Shotgun! Boomerang1!" Steve said, sliding in two grey chips and a green one.

Druidman leveled his gauntlet on the swirling Windbox, and pulled back his springload, charging the gauntlet with concussive energy. With one quick, fluid motion, he fired the searing blast of plasma at the Windbox, and had the springload held back, already pouring the shotgun data into the revealed chamber, along with a little extra power. Taking a sidestep, Druidman fired a volley of energy pellets at the Windbox. Before even checking to see if the wind had died, Druidman pulled out his scimitar and had it charged and bent into shape, and even pulled back at the ready, before he lined up his throw. Doing so, he closed an eye to gauge the distance between him and the line of Markcannons, and then let fly with the whirling blade that was his scimitar.

Druidman shoots down the wind in time to use the boomerrang, which takes out two. One of the remaining foes blasts the navi.

"Cool, man!" Druidman let out before he was pummeled by a blast of energy. Picking himself off of the ground and dusting himself gingerly, he looked at the two remaining MarkCannons. "They too far apart to get combo-rific with them. Bummer, dude."

"It's no problem, Druidman! Double Battlechip in! Minibomb! Vulcan2!" his op said cooly, popping in two chips.

Druidman reached into his bag o tricks, and pulled out a small blue grenade. Tossing it up into the air gingerly, he closed one eye, and set his stance. "Play ball, dudes!" he yells as he pitches a fast ball at the far Markcannon. Pulling up his gauntlet, and flipping the 'leaves' around to reveal a barrel, which quickly was replaced by a moderately sized chaingun, Druidman set himself, and sent the barrel spinning and screaming, blasting out shot after shot at the sadly, immoble, Markcannon. With each shot, Druidman's eyes glowed a brighter and brighter shade of green, power swelling out of them.

Druidman nibily dodged the final shot's ricochet, then stared at the closed plates of the MarkCannon.

"Well, this is a stumper..." Steve pouted, as he thumbed through his chips, looking for the best one.

"Nah, let me handle it, dude!" Druidman said, drawing his scimitar and darting next to the closed cannon, he took a jab at it, then waited for the inevitable opening of it's defense before takeing a couple more swings at it's hull.

"I don't like the looks of those fire viruses." Steve said somewhat worridly. "Maybe we should hit them with everything we got."

"Whatever, dude. It's all good to me." Druidman replied nonchalantly.

"Okay then! Triple Battlechip In! Boomerang1! Minibomb! Vulcan2!" came the operator's stern reply.

Druidman was ready for the chip data, with his scimitar already pulled out and held aloft. With a quick bend, twist, and focus of all of nature's power, it was once again a deadly throwing weapon. And throw it he did, right into the group of Champu viruses. Not bothering himself with the outcome of his attack, he caught the boomerang and put it away as he turned on the approaching kabutanks. Reaching into his bag, Druidman produced a blue sphere, which he set on the ground, then kicked lightly towards the lead tank. Not wanting to waste any time, he pulled up his gauntlet and flicked out a chaingun, which he used to spray energy shots at the left flank of tanks.

Two Champus are hit with the boomerrang, as well as one stray tank. Another tank is hit by the bomb. The weakened tank is finished off by the Vulcan2. A boomer now hits Druidman with an attack similar to his first and the last Champu punches him.

Keep it up, Druidman! Triple Battlechip In! Shotgun! Energybomb! Cannon!" Steve encouraged his Navi.

Druidman stood at the ready with his gauntlet outstrectched. Flipping up a viewfinder, Druidman centered his glove-turned-gun on the remaining Champu. Holding his breath to steady his shot, Druidman gently squeezed the trigger, sending energy flying towards the fire virus. Steadying himself, Druidman continued his assault by reaching into his belt and producing a small chunk of raw energy, which he promptlt hurled at a shuffling tank. The blast being to bright to see, Druidman pulled up his gauntlet again, and fired a blast of energy at the first tank that moved.

The champu s destroyed by the shotgun and the bomb takes out the tank. A cannon takes out a weakened foe. A boomer then lands an attack on the navi.

Druidman: 80
Druidman breathed a sigh of relief. "At least those flame dudes are gone." he said with a sigh.

"But we aren't out of the woods yet! Double Battlechip In! Minibomb! Shotgun!" Steve said, he was just starting to worry because he was running low on chips.

Druidman nodded. But before he did anything, he closed his eyes and began to chant. A rough, coarse chant, but at the same time, it was a mellow, passionate chant. As the strange words escaped from Druidman's mouth, a large rune appeared underneath his feet, dipicting flames ingulfing a leaf. Opening his eyes, a quick flare of red amoungst the green appeared, and Druidman's scimitar burst into flames. Pointing at a single Boomer, Druidman roared out the end of his chant. "ENTANGLING HEAT FORCE!!!" Vines erupted outward from the ground, all around the boomer, swinging violently, trying to catch the Wood virus. Druidman charged through the tendrills and took a mighty slash with his firey blade.

Panting, Druidman darted back, reaching into his leather pouch as he did so. Skidding to a halt, he turned on his heel, laughed out loud and said. "Play ball, dudes!" Patting the blue MiniBomb into his gauntlet like a catcher would in his mitt. Sizing up his 'pitch' Druidman hurled the at a second Boomer, the casually yelled after it, "Sa-WING, man!"

Chuckling to himself, Druidman quickly got his head back to where the rest of him was. Druidman tapped the sapphire on his gauntlet, which flipped back the leaf-like projections and revealed the spring chamber. Pulling the chamber open, Druidman downloaded several dozen file fragments supercharged with his own internal energy into the chamber. Flipping up a targeting cursor, Druidman looked at the only undisturbed Boomer, and unleashed a slavo of pellets at the virus.
