As BearMan sized up the oncoming aggressors, one of them decided to engage the Navi. It advanced forward slowly, the flames inside its body flaring up through its "mouth". That would turn out to be somewhat redundant however, as BearMan sent a giant log rolling over the virus. It was deleted instantly, the log stopping when it ran into one of the rocks. The other OldStove, picking up on this, retreated to the side of one of the nearby rocks. When the second log came rolling up, it smacked into the rock again and stopped dead in its tracks before disappearing. On the bright side, the virus didn't seem as eager to charge BearMan anymore.

One of the frightened-looking Shrubby viruses remained where it was during all of this, but the other mustered up the courage to move from its cover. It teleported close to BearMan and sent a log rolling toward him, but his solid-bodied stance reduced the damage handily. Since its previous cover was damaged, the Shrubby opted to move to another spot after attacking.

At that, Bearman's arm turned into a buster gun and fired a piercing shot at the rock shielding the Oldstove, ready to penetrate and go for the virus taking cover under it.

At that, the buster gun disappears, and Bearman braced his claws and prepared a large yellow shield with a green plus on it, holding it forward he rapidly closes in on the Shrubby that attacked him and retreated behind him, ready to block whatever is thrown at him and take a swipe at the offending Shrubby.

Bearman's rock-solid defense quickly disintegrated as he fired a shot at the remaining Stove virus, deleting it pretty nicely. His later RageClaw raked through the Shrubby, and he also reflected one of its own attacks back at it, deleting it with its own offense! The other virus also threw a log at him, but his earlier lunge towards its comrade saved him from being hit.

Bearman looks around for the final Shrubby, spotting it hiding behind one of the rocks ahead. With his claws braced, he lunges at the rock at high speed on all fours. He jumps up to try and get over it while aiming to pounce on the remaining Shrubby, ready to tear it stem from stem.

The brutality with which BearMan clawed apart the Shrubby was beyond words. Or maybe some deity was just lazy or something. Either way, there was nothing left to claw apart. Aside from the rocks, but who would waste time doing that?
