The navi waited for the chip to de-materialize before she sat back cross legged and tried to regain her composure; Sullen wasn't going to comment about her momentary change in temperament.

"They appear to be universally aggressive despite their meek appearances" Sullen was already making notes on the bunny's zapring and the Metool

"It's still early, lots of time to look around before we head to Si-Labs"

As the fox-Navi Saluki moved onwards, she came across a rather strange formation of viruses. Three Beetanks surrounded a central Cactus virus, all pointing outwards and circling around, as if acting as sentry to something. They were immediately alerted to Saluki's presence, and readied their offenses towards her!

-BATTLE TWO, FIGHT!!-
"Tanks! Keep moving ill think of something." the beast Navi started a running a wide circle around the Cacty and its protectors. Sullen would be quick to set grass in order to help mitigate the damage that was sure to come; and to help repair the wounds from the previous battle. The grass sprouting up under her feet while she ran; spreading inwards in little ripples and waves as she made her way around.

Shotgun was loaded in next; her left arm and sleeve morphing into the hefty two barrelled cannon. Sal shot a blizzard of pellets at the center Virus, she had little care for collateral damage but she hoped that it would spread to the trio of tanks.

Finally she was sure to keep her knees bent ready to lunge or dive. She had a pretty good idea from what direction and how those Beetanks could attack but the Cacty was still a mystery. Why where they circling it? Where they protecting it or holding it hostage? Sal was learning to shoot first and ask questions later.

Quickly realizing that the tanks were trouble, Saluki took to her feet as the artillery started firing their explosive charges. Audible thumps rocked the ground as the explosions caused cracks to form in the panels they ravaged, among them the grass created by Saluki's run. However, the fox was too agile for them, as none of the bombs' ranges ever got to her. Instead, one of them got a faceful of shotgun shell as Sal whipped out the heavy double-barreled firearm, as well as the Cactus virus behind it. The Cacty was not very happy about this, understandably. Throwing its head towards the fox Navi, it attempted to fill her full of needles, but its aim was slightly off, and it rolled to her side harmlessly.

Being on grass, Saluki's body began to repair itself naturally, and as a result, most of her wounds disappeared from her body.

"Keep it up keep it up!" Still she was going to have to think of another plan because by the time she made a full circle; there where going to be crackled panels and the last thing that she needed was to get cornered.

Sullen loaded in the shockwave chip; the heavy pick materializing on Sal's left shoulder. The Vixen stopped only long enough to heave the pick into the ground as hard as she could manage and send a shockwave towards the beetank and anything else in its way as she tried to keep up the pressure. While she circled ready to attempt another roll.

Saluki's continued strafing allowed her to avoid two more arcing bombs launched by the Beetanks. She retaliated with a powerful swing of a pick into the ground, producing a speedy shockwave that tore through the front Beetank and left it near deletion. It kept going and deleted the Cacty on its way, only narrowly missing the other Beetank.

The Beetank that had avoided the attack was angered and launched even more bombs, which Saluki rolled away from with ease.

Sal was getting tired and she had completely circled around and didn't want to risk crossing the cracked panels; so she finally took a stand and was ready to fight the worn down viruses.

She raised her bell in the air and rung it three times in a row. To her left (on an intact panel) a mostly complete HealNavi started to pull itself out of the ground where it was immediately empowered by the beast Navi. The undead creature yowled and spasmed wildly while it bulged and surged with unholy energy. It was strong enough to draw fire; (and survive) so naturally it aimed and fired its buster at the wounded virus.

Thrice more she chimed her hells bells; her decrepit servant struggled to pull itself out of a panel in front of Saluki. It managed to get its skull, shoulders and buster covered arm out; which was more than enough for him to start firing on the other virus.

Finally Sullen Loaded in the Cannon chip; changing from the left elbow down into a sleek killing machine. With her second minion so low to the ground she didn't need to worry about it getting in the way, the heavy crimson shell was launched at the remaining virus.

With unrivaled speed, Saluki did what she did best and summoned a couple of decayed Navigators to help her. The first Beetank did not manage to avoid the first undead buster aimed its way, and was deleted instantly. After that, the remaining Beetank felt that it stood no chance, with the odds now three against one, with itself on the losing side. It now concentrated on trying to evade what was left of the attacks directed at it. The other undead's buster was handily evaded, but it could not dodge the crimson cannon shot forth by the undead's controller herself, and staggered backwards from the slug's recoil. Unfortunately for it, it was getting rather dangerously close to the cracked panels, and was flanked on most sides by Saluki and her summons.

Sal gave a satisfied snort, that tank had cornered itself; finally those cracked panels where working to her advantage. She was somewhat surprised that the tank finally started to dodge and show some self preservation.

She took this time to jump back onto a grass panel wanting to completely exploit the terrain advantage. She of course made sure to keep her legs bent so she could attempt to evade a possible retaliation.

Still it wasn't going to stand up to a hail of buster fire and the unrelenting assault of her minions. She stood strong and stayed on the offensive. Her right hand raise and the corpse candle's eye glowing as it fired a plasma blast; her rotten zombie's busters blazing with hers.

They say a wounded beast fights with a vengeance, or something like that, I don't know. In this case, the "beast" is the Beetank, resolved to its fate. Now, it fired with more vigor than before, firing two bombs when it only fired once before. Fortunately, its cornered state made its bombs go off-course, and Saluki's agility allowed her to evade them easily. Her summons took care of the rest, deleting the tank virus and finally ending the battle.

Oh, and some healing.

Saluki waved her paw and the two minions where dragged back to hell with much groans and protests; clawing at her legs and feet forcing her to stomp and jump up on down on them till they listened. She inspected the battle field finding a few of those bombs. "These will be useful" the Navi would give her report of the battle and her personal thoughts. She was starting to care less and less about the viruses; if they had been alittle more docile she might change her mind.

"Good job Sal, it's about time to head off to the metro" by now Sullen had a few pages of notes in a notebook and some scribbles of what they had defeated so far. Sal would logout leaving a few seconds of lingering smoke.

Sally dropped down into the ACDC town with a quiet thud and a puff of smoke. By the time it cleared up she was looking around for any hostiles because she didn't want to be caught of guard; again.

[Requesting first battle!]
A short while passed as Saluki strolled through the ACDC network. Not wanting to be caught off guard, she focused on searching for hostiles, and immediately found a group of them headed her way. They seemed to all be hopping in some manner, with two Bunnies and a paper-doll Powie ready and raring to fight.

Sally really didn't like bunnies and neither did Sullen. "All right I'm loading in two chips at once so be careful" Shotgun and Cracker Bomb was transmitted; changing her left arm into the sleek double barrelled crimson cannon and the other got a handful of bombs the size of Baoding Balls .

While she tried to brace her arm and control her breathing the aiming protocols flashed through her memory and she recited them silently 'Do not pull the trigger, squeeze. It will ensure a kill, a kill is what we want, and a kill is what we need, a kill is why we breathe'

She tried to use the shotgun pellets to lay down some suppressing fire so when she lobs those bombs she could get an accurate hit on the bunnies.

The two rabbit viruses hopped around in a crisscrossing pattern in the area directly between Saluki and the Powie. The viruses were quick on their feet, their movements designed to distract the Navi in order to allow their more powerful comrade the chance to attack. To combat their movements, Saluki took careful aim while reciting her rather disturbing mantra. The shotgun roared just as one Bunny crossed the path of the other, a hail storm of buckshot shredding the two viruses.

The Powie prepared to hurl itself at Saluki, but a bomb landed a few feet from the virus. The cracker bomb exploded, the force of the blast more than enough to mow down the papery virus.

They were both pretty happy with the efficiency, it was exactly the kind of confidence boost that she needed. Sometimes back to the basics was what was needed.

Moving through the ACDC network, Saluki happened upon a squad of Metools, marching along the glowing main road with yet-unseen discipline. The source of the peculiarity was apparent soon enough: a Swordy floated behind, roaring orders at the top of its lungs (if it had any.) Spotting the vixen in her travels, the Swordy wasted no time in screaming out an order. It sounded like gibberish, since it was speaking in virus-chatter, but the Metools seemed to understand enough, as they lifted their mattocks in unison to attack!

It was sort of cute to watch the marching Metool's; at least till they turned and raised their picks in unison at the orders of their Swordy commandant "Get moving!"

Even with the Fox running she wasn't sure if she could dodge; let alone outrun a shockwave(s) that was four times wider then she was used to. She was trying to make a wide arc to get a good gauge of just how disciplined they where and if they actually moved and acted as a unit; if she could just get flank them! She did the only thing she could to defend herself and put up a barrier to try and mitigate the oncoming damage. That Smokey sphere surrounding the creature while she ran leaving little, lashes, wisps and strands in her wake.

The biggest unknown factor was the knight thing that that seemed to be leading the little viruses. Would he attack too? Or would he command? That sword sort of put melee out of the question at least for now. Sullen was already taking notes right from the start of the battle looking forward to updating her homepage win or lose.

Saluki broke into a run, hoping to strafe the Metool squadron in an attempt to strike at its flank. The Swordy barked a command in response. The Metools moved in unison, pivoting to face the running Navi while their formation shifted into a straight line. Now shoulder to shoulder, the Metools slammed their mattocks into the ground, four shockwaves rising up in unison to rumble across the terrain toward Saluki.

The Navi's quick footwork had allowed her to bypass the path of two of the shockwaves, but she was still far from out of danger. She leaped forward, hoping her momentum would carry her free of the incoming shockwave, and fell into a roll. She regained her feet and activated her barrier just as the final shockwave barreled down on her. The smokey orb rose up seconds before the shockwave hit. Saluki was protected as the orb absorbed the force of the shockwave.

The Swordy didn't advance, preferring to stay behind the line of Metool and watch the Navi with a penetrating glare.

The Vixen gave a loud snort at their well timed response; what was left of her barrier was shaking and quivering as it struggled to stay cohesive. They where messing with the wrong Navi because she too had legions of the undead under her command.

The bell was raised in the air and rung trice; and without pause that reliable shell of a HealNavi pulled itself out of the panel to left most and was quickly empowered. Its eye sockets bulged and wavered before they cracked and exploded while it body glowed an unstated and bloodthirsty red. It aimed for the Mets leader and fired its buster.

Soon enough Sally was on the move again, hoping that her zombie would make a more inviting target then her. She had to time this perfectly if she wanted to ketch them while they were still in mid formation. Sullen was kind enough to set grass to make the field a more favourable battleground; spouts seeds, grass and blossoms popping up randomly and radiating from the Navigators presence.

Sullen was flicking and rolling the chip; weaving it between her fingers. Having to wait for the right moment to send the shockwave chip so her enemy wouldn't ketch wind of her plans. In position or not Sal had to wait for them to attack because she didn't want to deal with them hiding away in there adorable little helmets.
