Kai and Slade watched with horror at the massive amount of virii they had encountered. It had been quite a long time before they had encountered this many viruses, and the last time, Slade was barely deleted and had been in the maintenance mode for 2 whole weeks. But that was a long time before as for now, they had already gained more experience in NetBattle than that time.
"Slade, you still have those two swords, am I right?" Asked Kai, beginning his scans on the oncoming viruses. "Seemed like all of this virii had their own weaknesses, the elements. Bunny, Elec type, weak to Wood type. Shrubby equals wood, easily crushed by fire and Spikey, fire elemental...."
"...Ah! Other than Spikey, the virii have elemental weaknesses in their own team."
"Therefore, deleting those two will be our main priority. Shrubby are known of their timid nature, they won't be such a nuisance for us, but Spikeys are not..."
"Sure, you wanted me to use the 'Dancing Swallow of Uber LeetNess' moves again?..." Slade swinging his blade, preparing his battle stance and glared straight towards the two Spikeys- but, Kai interrupted, "Not quite, as your balance will be off, which means you'll probably be an easy target for them....stick to the ol' dash and slash..."

Slade immediately strikes down the Spikeys. The Bunnies scatter, one firing at Slade. He dodges it. Howver, a Shrubby panics and spits out a log, which Slade is unable to avoid.

"Crap! You said that the Shrubby won't bother us!" Slade fell on his knee onto the ground, rubbing his injured spot. Glaring at the virii left, somehow he felt quite satisfied as the major threat had been removed from the battlefield and looking at how the bunnies were frightened and scattered around.
"Sorry, I don't really know. The shrubby looked panicked when he fired the logs at you though..." Puzzled, Kai took a sight on the surrounding, the timid Shrubbies were hiding behind the debris and junk, clearly showing their cowardice. "Either way, I'll send you a chip! Battle Chip, Rageclaw! Slot In!"
Upon receiving the new battle chip, Slade quickly uploaded a claw similar to the bear's. He ejected his left hand's sword and at the same time, a blinding light enveloped his left hand, forming the rageclaw on his hand. As the claw fully materialized on his left hand, Slade performed another dash towards one of the Bunnies, while his right hand was still holding onto a cyber sword, and delivered a supreme slice to the pink rabbit-like virii.
Without stopping even to catch his breath, he darted towards the closest virii, a shrubby. But this time, upon reaching it, he swung his claw heavily to struck the junk data, which the shrubby had been hiding behind, thinking that it would send the junk flying with the virii together. Slade made another move by sprinting towards a bunny. He didn't delete the bunny this time, but merely grabbed the virii with the rageclaw, using it as a meat shield to guard from the shrubby's attack, which would be an elemental weakness of the bunny. He still take precautious move by preparing his sword in case the bunny started to strike him.

Slade's sword still cut through the Bunny like tissue paper, but had begun to look worse for the wear. The pile of junk he attacked in front of the Shrubby proved to be even more fragile than expected, and merely collapsed as the furry arm barreled through it and connected with the virus on the other side, deleting it. He then began to run for the Bunny... only, he had forgotten that viruses disappear after being destroyed! He came to a screeching halt midrun, narrowly avoiding a log that went rolling by, right where he had been headed.

"Uhh, what exactly that you wanted to do?" Feeling a bit confused about his NetNavi's action, Kai questioned. "Nevermind...Battle Chip, Energybomb! Slot In!"
"Oh crud, I forgot that I killed the viii....Well here goes nothing," Slade let out a low battle cry as he charged at a Shrubby, with his worn out sword in hand. The timid shrubby was hiding behind some rubble. The light blue NetNavi knew thet the sword wouldn't have lasted after another strike, so he decided to slam the sword upon the shrubby and discard it after that.
Throwing away the blade he was holding, Slade uploaded the new stream of data sent by Kai. A faint white light covered Slade's hand as a sphere materialized just in front of him. "Deleting the other virii would be nice.." Kai suggested as Slade was grasping the bomb firmly. The NetNavi nodded and followed his master's suggestion as he tossed the multi-exploding bomb towards a bunny which frantically hopping around the battlefield.
Three explosion echoed. At the same time, Slade had also made his move towards another virii, and dodging any rubble in his way, towards a bunny, but this time he made sure that he won't make the same stupid mistake as his last move. HE kicked the ground as hard as he could and the momentum accelerates his movement as he pointed his claw directly towards the bunny's little head. "See you again, in HELL!" As he growled, Kai sighed at the fact that Slade had left his back open to the enemy, and that would be a fatal mistake for him.

"Damn virii. So you want a piece of me?" Slade spat, letting out a loud warcry that echoed in the ACDC Net Area, as he maniacally charges toward the virus. His eyes, filled with rage and lust to battle, sneered at the last shrubby. Kai couldn't do anything but watch, he had tried to calm the NetNavi but it was useless as Slade had already overwhelmed by his lust to kill.
"Haahahahahhaha...hiding won't prevent you from being deleted!" Slade laughed at the shrubby's frightened look, as the tiny virii struggle to fit himself between the debris.
The Net was now blackened with some dark fog. The fog swirled around Slade, concentrating towards Slade's right hand and formed a black flare at the claw. Upon reaching the Shrubby's hiding spot, a strike with rageclaw was done at the rubble, which was intended to reveal the Shrubby's frail body. As the rubble went flying away, Slade smirked and gave a death glare to the Shrubby, before slamming his flaming claw heavily to crush it, but a second later, Slade slammed his other claw, the rageclaw, to ensure death upon the virii.

The dust resulted by Slade's repeated slam at the Netfloor slowly clearing and the crumbled floor was gradually visible along with a shadowy figure standing at the centre of the cracks. The Navi's body looked worn out from the last battle. "Hahaha...Owned! Owned I tell you! Haha!" Slade laughed heartily at his victory, well, it was the first time he managed to survive against that number of virii.
"Yea, whatever....I'm logging you out!" Kai simply smiled and had already placed his finger on the 'Jack-Out' button on his PET, but Slade resisted and plead to have another battle. "One more battle, please....."
"You barely win that battle, why did you think you'll survive next?"
"Well, because I'm good?" Slade said, slightly grinning as he picked up the remaining data of the virii.
"Jack out!" All of the sudden, Slade's body was covered by blue light as Kai pushed the button. Data of the Navi slowly streamed out of the Net, into Kai's PET.

A blue beam lanced down from the Netsky, from Kai's Pet, followed by a trail of small orbs, crashing to the warp pad as a blinding flash was emiited. The flash then faded away, leaving only a NetNavi behind.
Slade raised his head, looking around. Kai's home system was pretty much like a normal NET, only with different floor and a huge wall in front of him, which seemed to be the firewall. "So, what should we do now?"
Kai immediately slotted in his energybombs, while commanding his Navi. "You should be able to make a hole in the firewall with high damage. But make sure you quickly slipped into the hole as the firewall would regenerates and close the opening. I'll tell you more after you succeed." A moment later two bombs materialized on both of Slade's hand, both readied for a big explosion. Slade threw the bombs, both to the same spot, as a multi explosion was dealt towards the firewall, approximately 6 explosion in a row.

Kai thought bothered him while Slade had immediately dashed and leapt into the hole with his maximum speed, seeing the hole started rebuilding.

Slade sent a downward slash with his left hand blade, directly between the bunny's antennas.....well ears....The slash was too fast and powerful that Slade lost his grip on the sword thus leaving his left hand weaponless. But the lose didn't stopped him from delivering another attack as he quickly stab his right hand sword to the Netfloor, reducing his speed. It didn't take even a mere second until Slade leapt and did a moonsault while decelerating.
Landing directly in front of the bunny, Slade took a glance on his prey before stabbing the poor creature. Kai had already inserted a new chip, considering Slade had dropped his other sword. "Sending Rageclaw!"

"Heheh, what did I say?" Slade grinned as he threw the disappearing bunny aside. He walked towards the remnant of the virii, noticing that they left quite a precious data. "What would this be?"
"Oh, the bunny's weapon. Send it to me, I'll download it to one of my empty chips." Kai immediately searched his pocket for a blank battlechip. As he slotted the chip into the PET, the data from Slade's hand slowly streamed into Kai's PET, encrypting some kind of codes on the blank chip. "Nice, a Zapring! It's good to have elemental weapon sometimes..." Kai smiled sheepishly at his new BattleChip, but snapped as he felt a cool breeze. "Forget about that! Hurry to the control panel!"
"....kay." Slade just obeyed and rushed his way towards the destination, though he felt a bit uneasy. The Net area had also grew darker as he move. Hmm, something not right here....but I don't know what's wrong...

Slade soon realized what that darkness had been--it had been the sense of being intensely watched. The darkness got even deeper as the virii made the decision to attack, bounding forward across the digital landscape toward the Navi.

"Damn it! There's some more virii!" Kai gritted his teeth upon seeing the new wave of virii. "Who could've hacked the house's system?!"
"Delete?" Slade asked, waiting for his NetOp decision, though he knew that Kai would probably commanded him to.
"...sending Heatshot. Battlechip, Heatshot! Double Slot In!" Searching through his battlechips' case, Kai immediately inserted the new bought chips into the PET. A burst of light emitted from both of Slade's hand as two revolvers loaded with flaming bullets materialized. "Whoa, neat!" Slade exclaimed upon receiving the new weapons, mesmerized.
"Aim carefully, you're not used to handle such weapons...." Calmly, Kai commanded. He knew that a melee fighter such as Slade have difficulties when using long-ranged weapons.
Slade acknowledged. Immediately, he dashed to the rear of the seedbats, searching for a best spot to launch the fire-bullet. Dropping on one knee, Slade raised one of the heatshot to his eye-level. He tried to aim and time his attack carefully, waiting and adjusting his position to make sure that a virii aligned directly behind the seedbat he was targetting. A loud blast was heard as Slade pulled the heatshot's trigger, sending a flaming pellet.
His precautious move of dropping on his knee was effective as the recoil from the heatshot blast was reduced a little and he was able to maintain his stance without being off balance. Instantly, he sprinted towards another virii, detaching the used flame-gun on his way. A sudden attack was delivered towards another seedbat, as Slade quickly loaded his other heatshot and directed the mouth of the gun to the back of the seedbat. "Any last words? No? Okay then!"
A deafening bang echoed throughout the Net area of Kai's home system, and a little sound of 'thud' was heard as Slade hit the floor after being blown away by the heatshot's recoil. "...dammit..."
"...baka..." Kai sighed at witnessing his Navi's reckless action.
Summary
1. Get behind the seedbats, wait until the virii lined up maybe? and prepare for recoil.
