As SplashMan and Blub moved further into Sharo, their icy journey was once again interrupted by sea. This time, however, the sea was not unbroken water. Instead, it was dotted by various chunks of ice of various shapes and sizes. Some head-thing viruses were happily playing in the freezing seas when one of them spotted the duo. Suddenly, they turned hostile, blue 'fire' enveloping their oversized craniums and battle processes readying themselves for a beatdown.

And once again, SplashMan found himself against a familiar foe. A familiar foe from Netopia, no less. "These guys are...uh...I forget the name, but that blue fire's an aura, right?"
"Right! According to the PET readout, those are Aqua element auras. But...these are stronger auras than the ones we saw before. Oh well, nothing we can't handle! Ready, SplashMan?"
"Yeah, but...with all this ice and water, you'd think we'd've seen an Aqua virus or two...so far this trip is kinda turning into a bust! And not the fun, virus deleting kind!"
...Wow, did he just make a pun? That didn't happen very often. ...Whatever, they had auras to get rid of...and around. "Well, at least the auras are Aqua based, right? That's gotta count for something. And it does, since we happen to have a way to get through one of those auras, with no effort whatsoever!" Well, it took as much effort as it would take her to send over exactly one chip. But that didn't count. "Battlechip, Arrow2! Slot in!"
Sparks flew above the Aqua Navi's head, which quickly combined into insect form, and creating an Elewasp virus. It flew in place for a moment, before happening to notice one of the Megalian. For whatever reason, this threw the vespid into a rage, causing its stinger to charge electrical energy, and flew towards the aura virus, wishing to do nothing more during its short lifespan than to sting the living data out of it. And possibly the non-living data, as well. Just as Sabrina promised, absolutely no effort required from him.
"All right, that kinda takes care of all our Elec options. But we've still got lots of ways to take out those auras!" Hmm...even though the auras were only 80 HP, maybe it'd be a good idea to try another way to get rid of them other than damage..."Okay, I remember that there's an effect that instantly blows away auras, no matter how strong they are. And we've got a chip that has that effect, so I think we should give it a try!" Okay, this one took two chips to use without risking getting headbutted, but it was still worth said try. "Battlechip, AreaGrab! Battlechip, WindRacket! Double slot in!"
Once again, SplashMan found himself spatially altered, as in the blink of an eye he found himself right behind the group of Megalian, and with appeared to be some kind of a fan for a right hand. With all his might, he swung the racket, creating an intense burst of wind that could blow virtually anything away, even the very auras the head viruses donned. And the racket didn't feel too good itself. Unfortunately, it was only available for a short period of time, and vanished as soon as the attack was finished. "Okay, what's next?"
"All right...oh! The Virus Busting homework from a couple days ago! It was all about Impact, and I remember that it's really good against barriers and auras!" The Netopian girl started to reach for a chip with the desired effect, but suddenly stopped herself. "Actually, you can do Impact yourself! Do it!"
"Right!" The backs of his cannons opened, causing water to spray downward onto the ground. They quickly gained intensity, and as the Navi leaned forward, they caused him to rocket forward. Like a watery bullet, he raced along, in an attempt to tackle one of the viruses that happened to have more of a head than he did. After a few more moments of randomly moving about, the water pressure ran out, but SplashMan managed to land semi-gracefully on some water, with only a splash that reached his knees ruining his reuniting with the floor.
Phew, hopefully that'd finish off the auras, and let them focus completely on flat out damaging them. But since things were highly prone to screwing up, it'd be best to see if all of the aquatic walls were history before moving on. "I don't think I need to say it, but it's time for you start avoid any shooting heads!"
"Yeah..." For an attack as silly as that, he got the feeling those heads really stung. So, he began to prepare for evasive maneuvers, not wanting to find out for sure. His SP had begun doing so a long time ago, using his many tentacles to scamper across the barren landscape, and avoid those headbutts of doom.

Starting off with a quick burst of Arrow, SplashMan immediately deleted one Megalian right off the bat. The result was that the Megalian immediately began to scatter around, attempting to dodge the aqua Navi's advances. As a result, his WindRacket attack only managed to hit one of the Megalian's auras, destroying it. Then, his Aqua Ram attack killed another Megalian's aura, blasting that to pieces as well and hurting the guy inside.

As expected, not quite everything went according to plan. The fact that it wasn't due to personal incompetance? Slightly less expected. "I guess we should've waited to use Arrow, huh...?"
"Apparently so. Oh well, not like we can't get rid of those other auras, anyway!" Well, no AreaGrab wouldn't help that cause, but it wasn't like they were out of aura killers. Now, for the greatest aura killer of them all...fists! "Battlechip, ColdPunch! Slot in!"
SplashMan's black and blue hand glowed, as it transformed into...a blue and blue hand. However, this hand was much larger than the previous one, and gave off an intense icy glow. With it formed, there was little left to do...aside from punch the lights out of those two Megalian. He raced towards one of the enlarged head viruses, fist reared back...POW. He swung with all his might, producing an attack that could shatter any blue circular defense mechanisms in a single blow. Without waiting to see if the aura faded, he turned towards the remaining auraed foe, rushing it, and producing a nearly identical greeting with his right fist. As he lowered his weapon after the second use, a sudden wave poured throughout his body. He wasn't entirely sure what it was, but he felt...manly. Like he could rip out an entire glacier and throw it at the Megalian. "Grrrah! Yeah! Feel the power!"
Needless to say, Sabrina wasn't entirely sure what in the blazes her Navi was doing. "Uh...what?"
"Man stuff, Sabrina! You wouldn't understand!" By now his fist was raised skyward, like some manly lightning rod.
"...Yeah. When you feel like coming back to Earth, how about shooting up one of those already de-aura'd viruses with water?" Stupid Navi testosterone.
"NEVER!" ...Oh wait, each of those ColdPunch hits had filled up one of his tanks with water power. Guess he probably should listen to his operator. SplashMan's cannons moved from being parallel on his back, to virtually perpendicular at eye level, and a faint blue light began to become noticable from inside them. A moment later, an onrush of water burst from the aquatic artillery, with enough force to turn even a virus as strong as Megalian into junk data. Once he had finished it and his cannons returned to their regular position, the Aqua Navi realized something: the sudden burst of manliness he had experienced was inexplicably gone. "Aww...now I just feel like myself now!"
"And that's a bad thing...how?" If she was the kind of operator that seriously worried about any Navi randomness, she'd be in a panic by now. Fortunately for Sabrina, she wasn't, and started sending over another chip without skipping a beat. "This is for that other virus without an aura! Battlechip, IceWave! Slot in!"
The Navi extended his now ordinary right palm, causing a blue light to form in front of it. It quickly expanded into a crystalline snowflake, which hovered in front of the hand, until it was placed in a direction more conducive for head trauma induction. Once it had, the icy polygon began to sway left and right, as it moved deceptively quickly towards the virus. Needless to say, such an attack did not assist in the retrieval of that previous manliness he had felt. Oh well, maybe he'd get it again later. "Is that all you've got planned for me, Sabrina?"
"For now, yeah. I gotta think up new stuff, so go ahead and worry about not getting hit!"
Sounded like a good course of action to him. SplashMan began warily eyeing the remaining enemies, ready to try to evade any headlong rush his way...or in this case, longhead rush.
As for Blub, he had begun to grow tired of having to stay alert to avoid getting auto jacked out. Noticing the nearest place where the water turned liquid, the jellyfish began to scamper towards the drink, hoping to get in another swim like he had before.

As SplashMan initiated his attacks, so did the Megalian heads, as they pooled their resources for an all-out collective attack! Blasting their heads forward, however, did not bode well for them, as SplashMan simply punched the heads backwards in retaliation, leaving the aura-protected bodies intact of their defenses. Another Megalian got hit in the face by a cool blast of water from SplashMan's reserve tanks, and immediately got deleted. One of the Megalians decided, hey, this is stupid, why attack the heavyweight dude, when you can target his little friend? Following this line of thought, the virus submerged itself into the water to follow Blub and launched its head towards the jellyfish, in the process evading a hit from SplashMan's snowflake. Fortunately, however, it dodged the blow quite successfully.

Auras...still there. At least he got to punch them in the face for it. And thus, SplashMan stood there, watching as his jellyfish began swimming in a frenzy as fast as possible away from the Megalian that followed him...which, as it turned out, was faster than he would've thought. "Wow, Blub can really move!"
"No kidding...well, that Megalian thingy probably thinks it's real smart, diving underwater like that. But little does it realize..."
"That I can follow it, right?"
"Nope, I have a better idea!" And this idea...involved a chip. One that seemed utterly perfect for attacking underwater enemies without auras. "I think you'll get it after I send it over. So...Battlechip, Blizzard! Slot in!"
A blue, air conditioner-like weapon appeared upon the Aqua Navi's hand, who, for once, didn't have the benefit of AreaGrab in his execution of the freezing attack. However, this time he didn't need to, as all he needed to do was get reasonably close to the virus while trying to make sure he didn't get himself frozen in the process. But he had done so...WHOOSH! An icy gale blew forth from the contraption, that could freeze anything it came in contact with, and especially if it was water that was about to freeze anyway. At least, that's what the non-viruses in the battle were banking on as the chilly attack blew and did its thing.
"Perfect! I didn't even have to tell you what to do with it!" Sabrina started to take out a second chip, but stopped well short of inserting it into her PET. After all, there were still auras out there. "And now, I want you to take out those last two auras! You should be able to do it yourself, right?"
SplashMan stood there for a moment, wondering how on earth he could do that with two different Megalian. "I can? ...Oh, right!" Aha, he DID have an internal way to solve that dillema. He started to charge water inside his cannons, but something seemed...different from before. Before, it had only taken a few seconds to utilize them. This time, however, it took a couple more seconds to build up the water pressure for his most widespread attack. Once it felt like his innate weaponry was about to burst, the Navi finally was able to execute his signature attack...two balls of water, one from each cannon. However, each was incredibly dense with water, capable of exploding on contact with anything. After a few moments of traveling, they proved this in an eruption of H2O, covering their vicinity with the liquid. Yeah, that was going to raise the sea level a little bit. However, after the attack, SplashMan started to rub the back of one of his cannons. "Ow...I think I waited a little too long to shoot. My cannon hurts!"
"...Your cannon hurts?" How on earth could he feel a weapon hurting? ...Eh, the Net was a weird place, the Netopian girl supposed. "And now, let's bring the fight to them! I'd let you use ColdPunch some more, but not after all that stuff from before!" And now she decided to send forth chip data. "Battlechip, AquaSword! Slot in!"
A new weapon formed on the Aqua Navi's right hand...new as in 'unused in this battle'. The concept of a wide-bladed, water based sword was hardly new to the user. Once again, he found himself dashing towards the pair of large headed viruses, with nothing but a short-ranged weapon at his disposal. This time, however, instead of punching, he took a slash at one of the possibly unaura'd foes, leaving a small trail of droplets in its former path as he attempted to cleave the virus into bits of data. But, he had no time to see what he had wrought with his blade, instead hurrying along to another possible victim of his Flood Cannon, and taking a stab at the other Megalian...literally. After his thrust was finished, he pulled it back (or possibly out), backing up a bit in case the plan had failed somewhere. And knowing his signature attack, he knew that was entirely likely. "Sabrina...I think we should do one more thing to these guys. Just in case, you know?
"Yeah, you're probably right. Here, use..." She trailed off as she rummaged through her folder for a moment, before finally settling on a chip with a Raingear virus on it. "...this! Battlechip, WaterLine! Slot in!"
Unlike most attacks, SplashMan's left arm was the recipient of the weapon, which happened to be a water-based depiction of a Raingear virus, which was quite fitting given the chip picture. Choosing not to worry about it, he extended his hand forward, causing the virus wannabe to open its mouth in anger. And while that did little to potentially harm enemies, the wall of water it formed from the sea beneath it told an entirely different tale. One of potential virus conquest and victory. Or at least, it would have, had it not immediately faded afterwards. Which left the Navi in an odd situation. He could probably dodge an incoming attack easily enough, but instead, he crouched slightly, and moved his sword across his body. This time, he was going to be ready for the Megalian in a completely different way.

[Order of Turn:

3-AquaSword chip attack on Megalian-A2B (80+15, Aqua, Slashing) (Aqua Boost)
4-AquaSword chip attack on Megalian-A2D (80+15, Aqua, Slashing) (Aqua Boost)

The submerged Megalian quickly realized the error of its ways as the water around it was frozen solid, creating a small bit of ice similar to the ones already in the water. Then, SplashMan fired his cannon at the water, creating a rather large blast of water, which immediately dissipated the Megalians' auras! Panicking, the Megalians began to scatter once again, attempting to dodge SplashMan's attacks. As such, they moved out of range of the AquaSwords, but the Raingear's WaterLine did manage to hit one and delete it, leaving one lonely guy out in the water, trying to escape the Navi's wrath. It was pretty far out, though. Should he pursue the virus, or not?

Almost there. Now he just had to get rid of that last virus...wait, was it trying to run? Should he let it? "Sabrina, should I just let that guy go?"
"After it tried to kill you? NEVER!" No point beating around the bush, especially since they were on the clock. But who needed to beat a bush when you could shoot it with lots of water? "Catch up to it, and show it true Aqua power! Battlechip, WideShot! Quintuple slot in!"
SplashMan's arm made what was probably the final transformation of the battle, become the water gun he knew like second nature. He began to give chase to the lone Megalian, no more hampered by the ice and water than it was. Extending his hand one more time, he began to shoot watery death at the large headed virus, in the form of wave after wave of the liquid. The first, however, did seem slightly stronger than the subsequent ones...
And that, hopefully, was that.
[Order of Turn:
SplashMan:
1-Get within shooting range
2-WideShot2 chip attack on Megalian-A2D (80+15, Aqua) (Aqua Boost)
3-6-WideShot1 chip attack on Megalian-A2D (60+15, Aqua) (Aqua Boost)

...Finally. Glad that the Megalian threat was over, SplashMan started accessing the remaining data. "Sending the stuff over!"
And...more cash and BugFrags. No chips, darn. Oh well, it was enough to do something very, very nice. "Good job! I think that's good for now...jack out now, okay?"
"All right, if you say so!" And thus did the Sharo Rogue Net lose some of its water power, as the Navi exited the Net in less than dramatic fashion.
(I DARE EXIT THE NET)
