Okay, they're just whoring this thing now...
We've come from Egyptian pasts, to School Duels, and now we're taking it to the streets on Motor Cycles and street thugs. There's nothing wrong with the series, but I just want to know which of them do you prefer.
Yu-Gi-HO!

My main concern is that the kids at the GX academy... aren't they ONLY learning dueling? Aren't they going to be behind in even the most fundamental academic subjects...?
Well, anyhow, YGO is great for lulz.

I like 'em all. Period. I've also played a lot of the games... Also... You forgot Capsule Monsters. :'D
And in defense of 5D's, the series aren't only about Race Dueling. There's a normal Duel Disk in the D-Wheel which can be used for regular dueling with the regular rules.

i don't think ZANE wanted to do all the side series that were never even TALKED about after they were done and over with.

Well, in that case... If you really like the dueling aspect of Yu-Gi-Oh, then GX is the best choice. The original Yu-Gi-Oh also featured Capsule Monsters and Dungeon Dice Monsters, not to mention the broken rules in the first part of the season. I mean... Blue Eyes White Dragon without tributes? What's this tomfoolery? 5D's comes around with race dueling, which is nothing like regular dueling. Speed Counters affecting Speed Spells? Not for me, please. But GX keeps with dueling as far as I know, unless you count the PSP games 'GX Tag Force' along.

personally, i liked the VERY original yu-gi-oh. the shadow games. full japanise sub, NO WAY IN FUCKING HELL WILL ANY AMERICAN DUBING COMPANY TRY TO DUB IT!(which makes me happy) and...well...it's violent...very...very...violent...the manga is probably as close as we will get to a dub of it. but as for voteing...i'll go with the original and the GX series, because i have yet to even SEE a scrap of footage from 5D or whatever the fuck it's called.

I know the Original Yu-Gi-Oh didn't stay focused on the card game at times, and at the very beginning, they had all these straight forward summons and didn't even attack directly. 2000 Life points and then they had all these effects that weren't even on the true cards that were released like Flaming Swordsman destroying dinosaurs? Heck! I fusion summoned that card in a real duel and I saw 1800 attack, and defense, and I was like, that's it? I can summon Dark Blade! Big Deal!
Now, GX, it dueled a lot. A lot of Fusions, Elemental Heroes and cards and such. It was straight forward. If you ex-out the "I'm in school learning about this stuff aspect" it's interesting. Season Four was more serious since you didn't have Jaden as a constant laughing idiot at that point and he was serious, but his silly side was quite good too. You could appreciate him as the occasional joke cracker.
Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's. It's good so far. As far as I see, it looks like the fusion monster aspect is eliminated since Neo Domino City is supposed to be a more advanced setting where Tuner Monsters synchronize their speed with other monsters to tune them up during the duels and make Syncro Monsters during the Standby Phase is new, and the High Speed duels ignitiate a special kind of Magic Card use instead of ordinary Magic Cards is sort of a extra catch, but I don't know about that in the duels I like to play with my brother.
P.S.: Lily (darkstar) has a Caps Lock problem. V_V

Personally, I find you just can't top the original. Seriously, card games and capsules are fun and all, but when you stake the whole world on a few pieces of paper or plastic, that kinda stretches things.
I'm not saying they were bad, they just weren't as imaginative. Granted, playing a card game where the more lifepoints you lose the closer spinning saw blades come to slicing off your legs is fucking awesome. It's just that when you watch people play the same card game over and over, things get a little stale. When you mix things up like playing air hockey with nitroglycerin, or build a maze out of fire, you get something jawsome.
Also, everybody and their grandma was a psychopath. Kaiba? Locked joey in a room with a chainsaw wielding murderer. Mokuba? Russian roulette with poison. Bakura? Fucking impales his own hand on a spire. Atem? Don't get me started on him. All i'm saying, is Takahashi really thought outside the millenium box in his first series, the later felt slightly repetitive, granted, I would love a series based on the d&d esque game bakura trapped them in. That would be cool.

Not voting, heres why:
A: Desipte what others say, I got bored when they removed they broken rules in the first season
B: Learning/school + card game, I think I make my point
C: wait WHAT? Sounds silly.
Ive made my point(s), even if they are retarded.

Hmm...the monster Roadrunner keeps reminding me of some fusion between the actual Roadrunner from Looney Tunes, and Biyomon from Digimon! XD

That thing looks like the illegitimate offspring between tweety bird and the pink elephants from dumbo. Now imagine that, but it was artificially enseminated inside of Jim Carrey and then aborted.
