Operator
Name:Paul Garret MacPhearson
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Appearance: Paul is a a young Netopian man who stands at about 170 cm (~ 5' 7") tall. He has an average build, and weighs approximately 65 kilos (~ 143 lbs.). His eyes are blue, but a slight touch of astigmatism forces the man to wear glasses. Paul's hair is black, and he generally keeps it cut short. He also keeps himself clean shaven.
Paul's preferred attire could be classified as dress casual. He likes to wear polo shirts or lined dress shirts, often with a light colored sleeveless vest over it. For pants, only comfortable slacks and a belt will do. For shoes, Paul goes with darker colored walking shoes one could easily mistake for dress shoes normally, but switches to 'loafers when his boss is lurking about. Just add a tie and a dress coat, and he's ready for any formal occasion. Tees and shorts are reserved for vacations and working around the house.
Personality: When it comes to work, Paul is one of those Type-A, driven individuals. This can be a bit of a problem when working with others, as Paul will focus on the task at hand while all but ignoring everything (and everyone) else. Paul is also prone to tuning out the rest of the world and losing himself in his own thoughts. At times like these he is absently polite, yet still obviously not paying attention. As a result, his friends are few and far between. However, those few friends know Paul to be a friendly, dependable, and decent guy. He responds to these people differently then he does people he does not know... in that he responds to them consistently.
PET Modifications: None. Paul carries a government issue LINK-II PET with the red and black Sci-Labs logo on it. It's pretty much identical to any other generic PET sold at your nearest retailer, save for the specialized software in it that allows him to do his job. As with any typical employer supplied equipment, Paul isn't allowed to modify this PET, or else he will be fired.
Navigator
Name: Voyager.EXE
Gender: Male
Element: Elec
Subtype: Wind
Appearance:
Preface: Unlike most Navigators of this age, Voyager was not designed to look like a human. Instead, this Navi is 100% machine from head to foot, and purpose built for exploration of, and experimentation within, the Network. Because of this, a versatile, transformable mechanical body was designed for him with an eye towards survival through adaptability. New forms and evolutions of old forms will come about as Voyager gains experience in Net Navigation.
Regardless of whatever form Voyager takes, his coloration does not change. His primary color is silver, as that of unpainted aluminum. This color comprises all major external plating. All joints, fixtures, and workings are an unpainted gunmetal gray. Conductive surfaces, such as drive emitters, are unpainted copper. Sensor lenses and his main visor are all blue, and glow when in use.
It should be noted that Voyager's mass remains constant in all forms, and that he neither grows larger or smaller through transformations. Simply put, his parts rearrange into new configurations when he transforms. If any transformation requires additional parts to be added, that will be noted as a very rare exception.
Defeault: Humanoid Mode
Voyager's humanoid form stands roughly 2 and some change meters tall, or roughly 7 feet. Despite his size, the Navi's weight is almost absurdly low for a metal being: a mere 70 kilos. Voyager's decidedly machine-like appearance is overall sleek, with not a single blocky part to be found anywhere on his person. Another thing not found anywhere on this Navi is any form of paint or decorative coloring, save for his Emblem. The Emblem can be found on both of the Navi's ear covers, and on a chest medallion. The image printed upon it is a small comet flying through a starry black background.
Voyager's core body is much more complex than a first glance would reveal. For that matter, it is also oddly shaped. The upper body is much thicker than seems strictly necessary, and the dimensions are all off. The back half of his upper body stops midway down his back, where it meets various torso twist and pivot mechanisms, while the front half of his torso continues all the way down to just before his pelvis. The upper torso and pelvis are both a shiny silver; the color of bare aluminum. That is, save for the Emblem on his chest, and two narrow blue glass insets near the lower end of the front half of Voyager's torso.
Situated between the torso and pelvis is a gunmetal colored abdomen that is mostly hidden from the front. This region of Voyager's core body consists entirely of hydraulic mechanisms, and one large rotation collar. Between them, they give the Navi a generous range of torso movement that easily exceeds human limitations, and the ability to turn his torso in a 360 degree arc that is completely independent of his legs.
Voyager's arms and legs are as strange as his core body. The upper segments of both sets of limbs are proportioned correctly with the rest of his body, but his lower legs and forearms are longer and thicker than the upper segments; the complete opposite of human norm. Too, Voyager's knee and elbow joints are abnormal, in that they are composed of a short, double jointed segment that allows the Navi to bend his arms and legs forwards or backwards, and even to fold them up flush against their upper segment counterparts. However, that is where the similarities end. Voyager's forearms are each equipped with fully articulated wrists and hands, while his legs end in abbreviated talon-like foot parts that are half recessed into the bottoms of the Navi's wide, yet somewhat aerodynamic legs. Additionally, a roller wheel is hidden in the bottom of each leg that flips out and down from the back, allowing Voyager to stand on two wheels for high speed rollerblading.
Voyager is also equipped with a state of the art back unit. The core of this back unit is a low profile backpack of sorts with four ball-and-socket joint adapters near the top of the unit. Sticking out from each of these joints is a telescoping gunmetal colored arm that connects the base station to each of four drive pods. Each drive pod is long and thin, and silver on the outside. However, when the pods open, they reveal several long, thin, flat, and especially fragile looking copper antennas. These antennas, as well as the copper linings inside the pod shells, then act as control rods for the Delta Drives; Voyager's means of spatial propulsion. The particles caught in the drive fields generated by this system give off an indigo glow, and the appearance of wings of light. At high speed, this leaves light traces in Voyager's wake.
Voyager's head is, by comparison with the rest of him, rather simple looking. It takes the overall form of a futuristic mecha helmet, complete with visor, flip up face-guard with sensor camera, the necessary communication antennas rising out of the ear covers, and no sign of human facial features anywhere. His head rests atop a neck made solely of hydraulic actuators that extend out of another 360 degree rotational collar; giving it a better than generous range of movement in all aspects.
Personality: Voyager's AI was compiled only recently, and he was not preprogrammed with a default persona. Instead, he has been left to develop his own personality through experience. While he was programmed to at least know basic right from wrong, he does not necessarily understand the reasons why one action or event is classified one way or the other in his memory. As a result, insatiable curiosity and a serious case of naiveté are the major defining traits of this Navi. Given Voyager's designed purpose as an explorer, the former is most likely deliberate, and the latter is the price of that design choice.
Custom Weapon: Combined Arms I
Reflex Buster Units: Voyager is equipped with two Busters; one for each arm. However, unlike the standard Buster units that require a Navi to dematerialize their hand(s) before use, Voyager's Busters are mounted in pop-up weapon hard points that preclude the need to banish his own hands. Aside from this modification, they are fairly standard in their performance.
Wire Guided Rocket Arms: Both of Voyager's forearms may be fired off towards distant targets. They are guided, controlled, and reeled in by tough alloy fiber cables, granting him the exceptional reach deemed necessary for data retrieval in hazardous or inaccessible areas of the Net. It didn't take Voyager long to figure out they could be used to pummel viruses anywhere from melee to mid-range. It was very shortly after that discovery that he also found out the wires could be severed; depriving him of an arm for a while in a very painful fashion. Lesson learned: for every advantage there is a risk.
Type Gear: (Fluff)
Delta Drives: Another non-weapon with potential combat applications; the Delta Drives are Voyager's main means of propulsion. The drives work by establishing spatial distortion fields that exert force on Voyager and his environment, and does so at the Navi's will. This allows Voyager to change the velocity of himself relative to an object, and/or an object relative to himself. The strength of this change is directly proportional to the number of Delta Drive fields Voyager can successfully devote to it, and the only limit on range is that of Voyager's own theoretical sensory envelope. The possibilities this brings to a fight are not to be ignored.
Signature Attacks: 60/60
Name: Charged Photon Burst I
Description: Voyager charges his Busters, and sprays the target with bolts of coherent light. The magnetic field holding the bolts together is very weak due to a lack of tuning, thus the bolts explode upon impact while dealing negligible damage. Using this move at close range can be hazardous to Voyager as a result. On the upside, the use of photon particle weaponry means Voyager's attack is effective against shadows. On the downside, his targeting system hasn't been tuned to filter out the muzzle flashes yet. Now, with a little tuning, maybe....
Formula: (4 Elec + Slashing + Blast(1)) x 10 shots ; 1 TCD
Cost: 40
Notes: Shot, Rank-B, Multi-Hit
Name: Delta Blade I
Description: Voyager spreads his many 'wings' out, and slashes nearby enemies with the blade-like energy fields emitted by his propulsion systems. The indigo energy fields damage and repel all who come into contact with them. The effect and range of this maneuver are mediocre at best, as Voyager's drive systems have yet to be tuned. Now, with a little tuning, maybe....
Formula: 10 Elec + Slashing + Knockback + Nova(1) ; 1 TCD
Cost: 20
Notes: Melee, Rank-B
Subchips: Mini-Energy x2
Battlechips: Cannon, Shotgun, Rageclaw1

GMO 0: Flight Mode
This is the first of Voyager's transformations: a small aerospace exploration craft. The craft is tiny-- barely larger than a manned kit plane --and has no room whatsoever for passengers.
To assume this form, Voyager's strange upper torso opens like an upside down book, with the abnormally tall front side of his torso swinging forward and up while the shorter backside swings up in the other direction. As the torso does this, Voyager's head retracts downward until it is met by the converging halves of the torso and disappears seamlessly into the newly formed fuselage. The machinery of Voyager's abdomen moves with the rear section of his torso, and tucks the former pelvis area in against the bottom of the fuselage. Voyager's arms take advantage of the unique joint structures to fold up against the underside of the fuselage, just ahead of the former pelvis area, with hands and busters facing forward to either side of what used to be the Navi's shoulders. The outside pair of Delta Drives swing down and outward, and spread like skeletal wings until the drives generate their fields of light. The inside pair of delta drives points straight back, pivots up, and swings little to either side before they also light off. Voyager's legs then kick back at a 45 degree angle to the fuselage, the talons tuck in, and the final two Delta Drives reveal themselves as the previously hidden drive covers swing up from backs of both legs and the drives light off. It is at this time that the four blue glass panels on the nose of the newly formed craft light up, and two tiny canards poke out of the sides, signaling completion of the transformation.
The end result is an unmanned, silver, 10 foot long aerospace craft with six wing-like gravity drives to fly it anywhere it wants to go. At high speed, the Navi easily resembles his Emblem.
It should be noted that Voyager retains full use of his arms and legs while in this form.

Your registration certainly reminds me of someone...
Just a couple things:
Charged Photon Burst I: Please choose either Multi-hit (10 hits to 1 target) or Multi-target (1 hit to 10 targets)
Delta Blade I: Knockback is not so much a throw as it is a shove, you have very limited control as to where the enemies/objects go. Nix the "can be used as a throw" please.
