The trio of ratty had pulled into a tight formation and were rearing up to begin launching missiles, but Asymptote had a present for them first. The cracker bomb exploded across all three, but one rat survived the blast to launch its skittering missile back in his direction. It's wild and erratic scurrying flitted past Asymptote the first time, missing him, but it began to make quick, angled turns, threading out an arc on the ground as it came back around.
The two homing thunderballs that had been tracking on the mathematician closed in just as he finished his last attack. Asymptote was mostly ready, and dodged out of the way of the first one, but the second struck him in the side as he re-positioned, sending more discordant jots through his system as the electricity arced down through his casing to the metal panels below, and destroyed the remainder of his armour.
Unfazed, the hulking navi readied his next attack and began moving on the cannon turrets. They each fired again as he close din on one of them; pinpoint accurate, Aysmptote's evasive movements did little to get him away from the two cannon shots, although one of them still had a lingering weakness, removing at least some of the punch from it. Not lacking in punch, was Asymptote's, well, punch, and he swiftly demolished one of the offending turrets, before turning to deliver a trio of long-ranged punches to the other one, removing it from the network just as thoroughly.
There was only one rat left, for a moment, and it seemed like if Asymptote wanted to get the hell out of here and try for another location to explore, it might be a good time. Otherwise, it seemed like the viruses were simply going to keep coming as long as he remained in this small lightning-rod hub. Even as he had a moment to catch his breath, a pair of bunnies poked their heads around some of the structures further out, to his north, and began hopping towards the pylons. A third cannon rose up from the ground on Asymptote's right, in the same rough cardinal layout as the first two. Not much rest, it would seem.
-=Viruses=-
CatackCatack (Catack)
Catacks move at a slow rate and their dodges are generally bad. They can, however, attack in any direction while moving or attempting to dodge.
Area: SciLab, Electown, Dentech, Beach, Hades Isle
HP: 120
Attack Damage/Effect: 20 Null + Panel Crack + Blast2
Attack Accuracy: B
Attack Description: Blasts enemy with TankCannon.
Element: None.
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): TankCannon1, Zenny
Special: May Move/Dodge while attacking.
Special: Slow: DELETED
MagneakerMagneaker (Magneaker)
Magneaker viruses move and dodge slowly. Magneakers attack by launching MagBombs by default. When there is a stunned enemy on the field, however, they will instead charge at the stunned opponent with surprising speed. They are quick to react to the presence of stunned enemies, and execute this attack with very little delay. The DashAttack counts as a dodge against opponents attacking from any angle except dead-on or from directly behind the Magneaker. Magneakers do not charge at un-stunned enemies, unless there is a stunned target in-line with them. Magneakers have Omnishoes while executing a charge attack.
Area: Electown, Dentech, SciLab
HP: 70
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: 15 Elec + Stun 1 + Blast 2
Primary Attack Accuracy: D
Primary Attack Description: Fires an EMP bomb that stuns the enemy.
Secondary Attack Damage/Effect: 10 Elec + Impact + Piercing + Stopped by Object
Secondary Attack Accuracy: B
Secondary Attack Description: When an enemy on the field is stunned, this virus will spin around to face them, and immediately fly at them at high speed for an opportunistic body-slam attack.
Element: Elec
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): MagBomb1, Zenny
Special: Stopped by Object: Attack ceases execution when blocked by an Object. Attacks with this attribute also do not damage objects.: PING!
CannonGuardCannonGuard (CannonGuard)
CannonGuards are automatically in guard mode unless they are attacking. When guarding, the turret is protected by a shutter that will stop any and all non-breaking attacks from the front. This shutter cannot be destroyed, even by a breaking attack, so long as the virus exists. The shutter does not protect the turret portion of the virus against attacks from the back or sides. The base of the virus is also immune to non-breaking damage.
Area: SciLab, Kotobuki Town, Netopia, NAXA
HP: 60
Attack Damage/Effect: 15 Null + Lockon
Accuracy: A
Attack Description: Locks on and attacks
Element: None
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): MarkCannon1, Zenny

Special: Target's evasion counts less against this virus.
Special: Can guard against attacks.: DELETED
DBLCUBEDBLCUBE (DBLCUBE)
This virus is essentially a flying, color changing RockCube. It flips between Red (attack mode) and blue (recovery mode) every time it takes a hit.

Element: Null
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): DBLBeam1, Zenny
Special: Getting hit changes it's color.
Special: Omnishoes: DELETED
BillyBilly (Billy)
Billy viruses move and dodge at average rates. They attack by shooting electricity from their lightning-rod-like arms, either in the form of a homing thunderball or a pair of lightning bolts. They cannot attack while moving.

HP: 80
Primary Attack Damage/Effect: 15 Elec + Stun 1 + Homing
Primary Attack Accuracy: C

Secondary Attack Damage/Effect: 10 Elec + Seeking x 2 targets.
Secondary Accuracy: B
Secondary Description: Fires a lightning bolt from each lightning rod arm that pierces Invis. It cannot target the same enemy with both bolts.
Element: Elec
Possible Rewards (Per Virus): Thunder1, ThunderBeam1 (Rare), Zenny: DELETED
CannonGuardCannonGuard (CannonGuard)
CannonGuards are automatically in guard mode unless they are attacking. When guarding, the turret is protected by a shutter that will stop any and all non-breaking attacks from the front.
