Voulge and Ignis arrived into the dark and arid network of Hades Isle. The two was somewhat surprised by the environment of the area, but they didn't expect anything extravagant from a network called "Hades". "So, Voulge. Do you have any lead to where we're going?". Voulge opened the message he received from before and started to walk North. "We'll start by heading north..."

The landscape quickly turned hostile as Voulge ventured deeper into Hades Net, where open magma channels cut off paths and stagmites speared through the ground like teeth. Each step he took made him feel as if he was slowly being eaten by an impossibly large beast. Fortunately, he was able to pass harmlessly through the lava and found himself in a relatively safe clearing... Or so he though.

Voulge noticed that the network was starting become hotter than it was before. He began to see some lava panels here and there, but he walked above them with no problem. "So this is Hades Net's true color...I wonder what they were investigating here?" As soon as he stepped out of the lava, a pair of rocks revealed to be viruses and a handful of powerful Spikeys surrounded Voulge and Ignis. With a second to hesitate and think, Voulge raised his lance and prepared for battle. As for Ignis, he was a bit shocked by the turn of events and stayed close to Voulge. "H-hey! Take care of them...I'm still weak in this form because of you!" The navi smirked and nodded, "You just try to stay alive"
Marius also saw the sudden change in his navi's situation and quickly thought up a strategy against the viruses. He opened his folder, only to find the new chip he gained not so long ago, the Yo-Yo1 chip. "...Alright, Voulge, here's the plan. First use the Yo-yo chip to attack the Volcano viruses in front of you and one of the Spikey.". As he was explaining his strategy, Marius pushed the chip into his PET. The chip materialized into a normal looking Yo-yo on the navi's hand and proceeded to test it out. Walk the dog, swing set, and whatever; it looked and felt like an ordinary Yo-yo. "C'mon, stupid! Just sling the damn thing to the Volcanos!". Ignis was still cowering near Voulge as he yelled at the one who was protecting him. Voulge retracted the Yo-yo back to his hands and threw it straight at one of the Volcano. In a blink of an eye, the Yo-yo grew triple in size and sharp saw blades appeared around the toy. It reached near the Volcan and spun in mid air, hopefully slicing the virus in half, and came back to Voulge as a normal yo-yo. All three were surprised by the power of their new chip. Now, knowing the power and the potential of the chip, Voulge continued his attack with the Yo-Yo towards the other Volcano. This time, he used the chip to walk the dog, making the deadly weapon creep towards the virus. With a quick finger work, the yo-yo jumped up into the air, transforming into a killer saw and headed towards the virus. Finally, Voulge got his yo-yo back and sent it straight towards the Spikey Group.
Marius hoped that Voulge's attack would keep the viruses distracted while he prepared the Magnum. He already slotted the magnum chip right after Yo-yo chip, so it was slowly charging as Voulge was attacking. The process was much slower than actually letting Voulge charge it, but it was enough to get it charged for one extra attack. With a press of a button, Marius sent the semi-charged magnum chip to Voulge. "Now, prepare for an all out attack against the Spikey!" Voulge changed his Lancea into a cannon-like gunlance and aimed straight at the Spikies. "Ignis, hold on tight." The navi revved the gunlance, creating a loud, clunky noise all across the net. Charging the chip for one more shot, Voulge looked up to Ignis. "Ignis, would you be on the look out for a little while as I charge this chip?".
"Hell no! I'm not gonna endanger my life for you!"
"Not even for a second or two?"
"I ALREADY SAID NO!!!"

Now Voulge was almost running out of breath and he wanted to end this as quickly as possible. He raised his hands to summon a Fishy and started to fly all over the net, bashing every viruses he could attack. While Voulge was doing that, Ignis was left alone...somewhat scared out of his mind. "Er...ah...THAT PIECE OF JUNK!! LEAVING ME BEHIND!" He vented fires from his body and it started to grow larger and larger. "I'll show that Voulge that I don't need him!". Ignis looked around him and tried to find the weakest virus he could find and fired a fireball straight at it.

Voulge just happened to be the perfect distance away from his target to cut down the Volcano with a quick flick of his wrist. However, the other Volcano managed to exploit the battlechip's weakness by launching a fiery blob over the yo-yo and onto Voulge's immobilized head. The attack stung a little but could easily have been worse.
As Voulge charged his Magnum, the Spikeys paced around for a clear shot at the navi, none daring to make the first move. Voulge luckily struck first again, delivering powerful blows against all three of his targets. Then, activating a DashAttack, Voulge punched his way through the other Volcano and a Spikey while Ignis took a potshot at another Spikey. Both canine viruses were deleted but the Volcano managed to hobble over a lava panel. It soaked up the molten rock into its body and made a complete recovery.

Even after the direct shot from the Volcano, Voulge still continued his attack and managed to delete two viruses and one more with the help of his new partner, Ignis. Once his attacks was finished, he realized that one of the Volcano virus was wobbling towards the Lava and it was able to heal it self completely. Marius rested his Lance to the ground and searched within his Brigantine to take out a metal club. Ignis was surprised how Voulge just calmly took out a deadly blunt weapon within his leather vest.
"Marius, two FireHit chips and something that'll make sure that the two will be deleted for sure." Marius took out the two firehit chips and jammed it into the PET and three more chips Voulge didn't pay attention too. "Alright! You're all set!" Voulge gripped onto the club with his left and his Lancea on his right and dashed towards the Volcano. He was quick, but he made a loud thump every time he took a step. The ground was slightly cracked and some of the lavas splashed everywhere as he ran. He came within a good range of the Volcano virus and swung his club once, and twice across its rocky body.
Voulge took a couple steps away from the Volcano, positioned him self so he could set his eyes on the two surviving virus, and rapidly fired the three chips in a combo. The first chip fired a wave of fire that mimicked a firebird, the second sent a herd of (burning) Molokos across the field, and the last one simply healed some damages of Voulge. Ignis on the other hand, slowly hovered towards Voulge as he was doing his thing. "Hey! Looks like you hurt your self from the battle! Hahaha! you deserve it!". However, he did feel somewhat bad since Voulge protected him for a short while before he was attacked by the Volcano. Ignis spontaneously caused a fire around Voulge's wound, but it didn't burn but soothe and patch up the wound.

The last Volcano was bludgeoned to deletion with Voulge's flaming club in a brutal display of barbarism. Bits of once hot, sentient magma splashed against the rocks as cold, inert pebbles. The last SpikeyEX, now alone and in horrible condition, launched one last desperate fireball at Voulge. However, the navi was so preoccupied with destroying the virus that he didn't see the incoming attack and was struck by it. The Spikey was similarly hit by Voulge's own fire attack and deleted but not before its remains were trampled by a herd of Molokos and Voulge had recovered a bit.

The whole thing did feel like an overkill, since Voulge was just so occupied with the attacks that he didn't realize the fireball heading towards him. He grabbed the reward datas on the ground and proceeded deeper into the net. Ignis caught up to Voulge and started to float around the reward data they just got "Is that...Is that a BugFrag? Oh yea! When I have enough of those, I'll be able to delete you with out even tryin!". Voulge stopped and stared at the egotistical SP. "I don't need these, I can just throw them away...". Ignis kept his mouth shut and silently followed Voulge.

The air seemed to grow hotter as Voulge progressed. The floor reflected that with widening rivers of lava and geysers of hot gas that would easily hinder a normal navi. At the very least, the road seemed to be clear of viruses. Then Voulge heard a deep melody being played. Intrigued, he strayed off the main path to investigate. The music was coming from a glowing crater.
Climbing up the little hill and peering in, he found a group of HauntedCandles lighting up the pit in a flickering glow. Basking in their eerie light were a single Dominerd and Tromby. The Tromby seemed to be the center of attention, repeating the same sequence of tunes over and over. Voulge wanted to ambush them, but the rock he was leaning on suddenly crumbled and both he and Ignis slid downwards, right into the viral group. Several of the smaller, deeper pits within the crater sprouted eyes letting Voulge know that he would soon have more to deal with.

As soon as the craters crumbled and the two was heading towards the virus, Voulge knew that the element of surprise was gone and he needed to go offensive. He grabbed the helpless Ignis and slid down the crater with his legs carefully positioning his direction. "What's with the two virus? Were they getting married or something? Cause that's really g-". Before the SP could finish his sentence, Voulge chucked it far into the air and prepared his Lance. "Marius, I'm in a tight situation here. Be on standby and prepare the LavaCannon Chip.
Voulge finally landed on the bottom of the crater, only to see four more sets of eye staring right at him. The navi gripped the lance and put his hands in front of him. From the ground, an earthly shield appeared and started to hover around in circles. "Beginning Combat!". The Lancea changed into a gigantic energy trident and summoned a metal net on his other hand. With a quick scan of the viruses, he deemed that the Dominerd would be the most troublesome out them group of virus he was about to fight. He pulled the lance back as far as he could and threw it. It traveled so fast that the chain that was attached to the lance wouldn't make a single rattle as it was traveling in air. Voulge quickly followed the trident with the metallic net and started to move without a second to waste.
Voulge ran towards the area where the Momogras were and grabbed hold of the chain, pulling it, and retrieved his Lance back to his hands. From couple of feet away from the center of the Momogra group, Voulge leaped up into the air and positioned his lance so the blade would face towards the ground. From the look of it, the viruses was preparing to counter Voulge's attack, but they got something they weren't expecting. The Lancea was stabbed straight into the ground with half the weapon stuck inside. Voulge's gauntlet started to glow red from extreme heat and it started to transfer to the Lance. A second later, the ground started to crack and seep out lavas from every crack. When the lavas was covering most of the area around Voulge, the lavas started to spike out like a thin pole everywhere and started to spread out even further out. Voulge's plan was to damage Momogras all at the same time and possibly damage every single non-fire viruses in one shot.
Voulge easily pried the lance out from the ground and twirled it around over his head to get rid of some of dusts and pieces. He turned his head towards the lonesome Tromby and pointed his weapon straight at it. "Ignis, we'll focus our attack towards that virus" It was then the SP finally came back to the crater after being thrown away. And of course, he wasn't too happy. "Oh sure Master. I'll follow every order you give me~ EVEN AFTER YOU THREW ME WITHOUT THINKING TWICE!". Voulge, however, didn't seem to care what Ignis had to say and charged towards the Tromby with a Jousting Lance. Out of fury, Ignis started to emit fires all over his body. "...YOU'RE DEAD TO ME! I'LL BURN YOU TO ITSY-BITSY ASHES!!". The SP spewed out a fireball straight at Voulge, but it was mis-angled a little bit and headed towards the Tromby instead. "GRR!!!"
As the Jousting Lance was heading near the virus, Voulge thrusted it with all the strength he had. He didn't have time to confirm that his attack was a success, but he was able to see Ignis' fireball heading towards the virus. "...He isn't too much of a hinder after all.". Voulge moved to his next target, the HantedCandle, and shape-shifted the Jousting Lance straight into a War Scythe. In a flash, Voulge was already near the Candle and slashed the weapon towards the virus. With this, the navi hoped to recover some damages he received from the previous battle and possibly from this one as well.
After attacking straight on twice, Voulge felt light on his feet and jumped far far away from the viruses and gain a good distance. As soon as he landed, he exclaimed, "LavaCannon!". He lifted his lance up like a rifle as the weapon changed shape into a very peculiar weapon. It was a large red rifle with a bayonette and two hoses running from each side of the gun. Drills were attached to the end of the hose, which revealed to drill into the ground and use the power of the panels. Voulge couldn't take his time to waste any time and activated the gun, making the hoses move around like snakes and violently penetrate the ground. It drained and drained and hopefully filled the rifle with the lavas Voulge wanted. The navi took a short time to aim at the Candle virus and fired a molten bullet straight at it.

Voulge easily pried the lance out from the ground and twirled it around over his head to get rid of some of dusts and pieces. He turned his head towards the lonesome Tromby and pointed his weapon straight at it. "Ignis, we'll focus our attack towards that virus" It was then the SP finally came back to the crater after being thrown away. And of course, he wasn't too happy. "Oh sure Master. I'll follow every order you give me~ EVEN AFTER YOU THREW ME WITHOUT THINKING TWICE!". Voulge, however, didn't seem to care what Ignis had to say and charged towards the Tromby with a Jousting Lance. Out of fury, Ignis started to emit fires all over his body. "...YOU'RE DEAD TO ME! I'LL BURN YOU TO ITSY-BITSY ASHES!!". The SP spewed out a fireball straight at Voulge, but it was mis-angled a little bit and headed towards the Tromby instead. "GRR!!!"
As the Jousting Lance was heading near the virus, Voulge thrusted it with all the strength he had. He didn't have time to confirm that his attack was a success, but he was able to see Ignis' fireball heading towards the virus. "...He isn't too much of a hinder after all.". Voulge moved to his next target, the HantedCandle, and shape-shifted the Jousting Lance straight into a War Scythe. In a flash, Voulge was already near the Candle and slashed the weapon towards the virus. With this, the navi hoped to recover some damages he received from the previous battle and possibly from this one as well.
After attacking straight on twice, Voulge felt light on his feet and jumped far far away from the viruses and gain a good distance. As soon as he landed, he exclaimed, "LavaCannon!". He lifted his lance up like a rifle as the weapon changed shape into a very peculiar weapon. It was a large red rifle with a bayonette and two hoses running from each side of the gun. Drills were attached to the end of the hose, which revealed to drill into the ground and use the power of the panels. Voulge couldn't take his time to waste any time and activated the gun, making the hoses move around like snakes and violently penetrate the ground. It drained and drained and hopefully filled the rifle with the lavas Voulge wanted. The navi took a short time to aim at the Candle virus and fired a molten bullet straight at it.

Voulge's net was unsuccessful as the Dominerd simply faded from view and disappeared. There was a sharp metallic pang from behind Voulge and he turned to find that his shield had been destroyed. He noticed only three sets of eyes from the holes alerting him to the Momogra's failed sneak attack.
Deciding to take out the underground threat quickly, Voulge pierced the ground with his spear and initiated a panel change. A couple of the remaining normal panels were turned to molten rock, swallowing up the few sand panels as well. The mole viruses panicked and scrambled through the lava, decimating their ranks but also clearing away most of the hazardous terrain as they dug their way through it. The Tromby also happened to hop on a patch of lava itself and received a very nasty hot foot.
Voulge launched a lunging strike at the Tromby. The attack was blocked off by the Dominerd who flashed back into view in front of the trumpet virus. Luckily, the attack was strong, too strong to be stopped by even the hardened shell of the protective virus and it was deleted as quickly as it reappeared.
With a well placed blow from his Bona ex Diabolus, Voulge was then able to cut off a large chunk of wax from one of the candles that was grafted onto his burns as a healing salve. Then he tried to bound away from his attack to a safer distance but found that his feet were stuck. There was nothing holding him down and there seemed to be nothing wrong with his programming but he found himself unable to move! It was then that he noticed the increasing volume of music that had been playing the entire battle. The Tromby's melody had paralyzed him from the waist down somehow. He looked at Ignis who also seemed to be experiencing some kind of trouble moving.
The HauntedCandles began to flare up. Voulge had to move or at least delete the virus. He brought up a LavaCannon and tried to aim for the trombone, but the Candles were obscuring his view. He was running out of time and had no other options. Draining the panel beneath him, he fired and hoped for the best.
The shot connected perfectly, coating one of the HauntedCandles in a heavy helping of Lava. Voulge wanted to take pride in the successful attack but there was something terribly wrong. The virus was still there. It glared angrily and the tiny flame on its head exploded in size. Ignis launched a tiny fireball at the Tromby but it still wasn't enough. Pillars of fire shot up around the navi and seared him mercilessly as the Tromby's music played on. Then the fire died down as the Tromby ran out of breath and Voulge was released from his hellish torture. He collapsed to the floor while Ignis barely escaped the flames with his life.

Voulge tried his best to withstand the relentless attack from the viruses. The fires from the viruses was burning his skin and armor, the smokes was filling his lungs as he gasped for air, and his mind nearly split from the haunting melody. With all his might, he tried to keep his body and mind all together, just a minute longer. When the attacks stopped all together, Voulge was knocked out for a second as he fell on his knees. His body was charred and his eyes was almost lifeless. Ignis, having to escape from the attack by an inch, hovered towards Voulge and automatically tried to heal the navi as much as he could. "Che! Look at you! All burned up for nothing! You took a much heavier attack than this!". Marius, on the other hand, couldn't do anything but to see his navi getting burned to crisp by the fire, and started to get worried about him. "Voulge! Snap out of it! We need to continue or else you'll be charred again!"

Marius took out two chips and pushed it into his PET to summon two objects for Voulge to use. First was a metallic Boomerang and the other was the Yo-yo chip. Voulge held the Yo-yo on his left hand while the Boomerang was on his other, the navi quickly scanned the environment and the virus positions so he could find the perfect pattern of attack for the two chips. After the scan, he pulled the boomerang back and threw it horizontally across the area. Voulge prepared his Yo-yo as well and slung the deadly toy in a similar pattern the boomerang was traveling in. Everything happened in a flash, Voulge didn't have the time to see if the attack was a hit and retrieved the weapon back from the arc.
If the attack was a success, the only virus left would be the Momogra. Marius and Voulge was thinking the same thing when the navi started to run full force and the operator slotted in two more chips at the same time. "Equip your Sword chip and!...", "Use the AreaGrab to counter the virus!". The Avaria-Lancea transformed into an oriental Naginata and brandished it towards the virus. This, hopefully, would trigger the virus to burrow into the ground and strike Voulge from the behind. But then he would activate the AreaGrab to get into a different angle and strike the virus down with the Sword-chip. If this was to work or not, Voulge couldn't care less, and he already decided a Plan B or evading the attack if something goes wrong.

Ignis supported Voulge as a support program should and cauterized some of the navi's smaller wounds. Meanwhile, his Boomerang had cut through the Tromby and the HauntedCandles, swiftly deleting two. As Voulge positioned himself with the Yo-Yo, the Momogra also shifted around eagerly in its hole. As Voulge launched his attack at the last two candles, the Momogra also struck but its little shovel bounced off Voulge's shield again. The two remaining candles were cut apart by the attack leaving only the mole.
Voulge performed a feint and successfully lured in the Momogra before deleting it with a swipe of his Sword.
Now he was in a dark pit lit only by the few lava panels that had not been disturbed.

Voulge needed some time to catch his breath before continuing on to the net. Truthfully, he didn't expect the viruses here to be this tough. His wounds was his punishment for being too careless and being unprepared for the worst. " 'ey, piece of junk. Let's get goin. If we stay in one place, the same viruses could come and attack us again. Plus, all these darkness is kinda creepy."

Voulge finally escaped the blazing furnace of the Hades Net underbelly and found himself wandering some kind of ancient ruins, or at least something designed to look like that. The floor was very sandy and no longer riddled with puddles of lava and pillars seemed to hide eyes that disappeared whenever he went to check. It was creepy and unnerving and the architecture wasn't helping. Gargoyles watched over the walkways as if they would swoop down and attack and the statues were equally unwelcoming with hammers raised and teeth bared.
As he walked past them, he could hear the sound of stone grinding. He quickly turned to face three statues that had revealed themselves to be viruses. Their cover blown, several more faces stepped out into the open including three cloaked Mettfires and a pair of bulky ChampuEXs.

Voulge was able to catch the Virus before they were able to blind side them. However, Voulge immediately felt something different about the viruses compared to the other ones he fought. He immediately grabbed hold of his Lance and Ignis. "Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing!". Voulge was quiet for a second or two before he replied back to his SP.
"Hide."
"What? Hey, I can take them on!!"
"You don't understand, One fatal mistake and you'll be deleted instantly..."
"Heh! You're underesti--"
"Please!"
Ignis felt something in Voulge's word and started to fly away from the intense center of the battlefield and headed refuge within the ruins. "...I'll gladly watch you die! This is a perfect seat with the perfect view!". Voulge didn't care about his joke or insult, he was just assured that he would be safe for a little while. Summoning the earthly Aspis to shield him, Voulge readied himself for combat.
Looking at the terrain of his battlefield, he needed something that would lend Voulge some extra edge. He took his Lancea and stabbed it straight the ground/sand. Like last time, it stabbed straight through like butter and started to terraform the terrain with molten lava. "Alright, this should let us gain an advantage against the Gaias if they were to attack.". However, the lava panel it self would've be able to take care of the entire Gaias at once. He pulled the spear out, causing some of the lavas to pour into the hole and fill it up with lava. Firmly placing the lance's pole under his armpit, the Lancea blazed in fire and shape-shifted into a white-red Jousting Lance with a decorated painting of an Angel, raising his sword up to the tip of the lance. "Guide me and strike true to my enemy!"
Driving his back feet into the ground, he pushed his legs to the limit to charge head on to one of the Gaia virus. The tip of the jousting lance started to spark and created drill-like image with the fires spiraling along the lance. When got near the Gaia, he didn't stop or slowdown, he started to run faster and tried to ram the lance straight through the virus. "Voulge! Sending DashAttack Chip! Keep on running and don't stop!". Marius' voice rang into Voulge's ear and he followed his operator's word and kept on running. Marius slotted the chip in and the lance automatically transformed into a strangely shaped weapon...Simply, a missile with a very very pointy end. Voulge jumped up into the air and took a neck-breaking trip into the air. He was like a blur to everyone's eye, but Voulge managed to take some control from his weapon and aimed the sharp end towards all the viruses except the stone bodies Gaias. Voulge's attack looked like a flying red bird swooping up and down, zigzagging all over the place.
The fuel almost ran out for the Missile-Lance and Voulge changed the lance back to its original form. As soon as he landed to the ground, Marius already prepared the next chip for him to use. Voulge extended his hands out and a gold-metal boomerang materialized. "You see those viruses with the cloaks? Try to throw it in an angle where it would hit them when they hide behind the pillars.". "Understood.". Voulge held onto the weapon tightly and threw it towards the virus with a special spin in the end. Now it was the waiting game to see how the viruses would retaliate to the navis attack and prepared to dodge any upcoming attacks.

At first, the large pond of magma merely defined the clear boundaries separating Voulge from the viruses. The Gaias lined themselves up along the edge. The Mettfires seemingly tested Voulge's patience by hopping on and off of it playfully while looking for a safe vantage point from which to launch their attack. In a sudden jousting dash, Voulge pierced through the stone armour of one of the Gaias, shattering it into a pile of rocks. He then performed a real DashAttack and zoomed into the viruses.
The Mettfires were able to move clear out of his path but the Champus had simply been watching motionlessly for an opening. Voulge slammed into the boxer with all his might but it wasn't enough to finish it. The Champu caught the Fishy head and though it was pushed back, it survived and delivered a one-two punch that obliterated Voulge's shield and smacked him for some damage. The other Champu moved in for a piece of the action but Voulge was able to get out of range before he was punched again.
His Boomerang was a little more successful in injuring the Mettfires. In their panic to try and avoid another attack, two of them bumped into each other and were stalled long enough for the spinning blade to hit both of them, as well as nick a Gaia before embedding itself into a nearby pillar.
The two remaining Gaias jumped a single step forward and onto the lava panels. Their stone bodies couldn't protect them from the heat and both sustained some damage. One came out of its rigid form, its armour taking on a shade of purple. The Mettfires were able to move clear out of his path but the Champus had simply been watching motionlessly for an opening. Voulge slammed into the boxer with all his might but it wasn't enough to finish it. The Champu caught the Fishy head and though it was pushed back, it survived and delivered a one-two punch that obliterated Voulge's shield and smacked him for some damage. The other Champu moved in for a piece of the action but Voulge was able to get out of range before he was punched again.
His Boomerang was a little more successful in injuring the Mettfires. In their panic to try and avoid another attack, two of them bumped into each other and were stalled long enough for the spinning blade to hit both of them, as well as nick a Gaia before embedding itself into a nearby pillar.
The two remaining Gaias jumped a single step forward and onto the lava panels. Their stone bodies couldn't protect them from the heat and both sustained some damage. One came out of its rigid form, its armour taking on a shade of purple. Voulge immediately tried to take cover from the meteors, but with the Mettfires summoning it, the rain of rocks looked like it wasn't going to end anytime soon. The shield suddenly appeared in front of Voulge as he was running around, which gave him some type of assurance. "I'm sending you couple of chips right now! Your main objective is to take care of those Mettfires!". Marius took out three chips and slid them into the PET one by one. The first chip Voulge received was the AreaGrab, a chip that lets him teleport short distance in a blink of an eye. He analyzed the other two chips and instantly thought up a plan against the viruses.
As he was running, he called over to Ignis. "Ignis! Get ready, I need your help!". Ignis arose from the destroyed ruin, unharmed from the battle and the broken piece of architectures from Gaia's Hammer attack. "Yea! As long as you let me destroy the worthless hammer virus! That thing almost killed me!". Voulge nodded and started to run towards the pillars. "Alright, be on standby and I'll call you when I need you.". The navi activated his AreaGrab chip and Voulge disappeared from everyone's sight. He then reappeared behind the Mettfires, away from the meteor's wrath, and raised his lance up like a rifle. "Phoenixshot!". Instantaneously, the Lancea transformed into a long rifle with a bayonet and fired a destructive wave of fire towards the Mettfires. Hoping that this would take care most of the meteor spewing viruses, Voulge changed his focus towards the Champus
On his left hand, a yo-yo materialized and he slung it towards one of the remaining Mettfire. Voulge actually tried to use the pillar to maneuver the direction of the weapon so he could strike the Champus in a different angle. The yo-yo zipped across the battlefield with its deadly saw and the navi hoped that it would finish the viruses off. Voulge let go of the Yo-yo string and looked head on to the attacking Gaia. With its defense down, this was his chance to delete it since his Grandis Attero was still not prepared for the next attack. Voulge's left hand conjured up a ring of electricity and he shot it straight at the Gaia's purple armor with a quick flick of his wrist. "Alright, Ignis, att—". Voulge was about to sign Ignis to attack, but the eager SP went ahead and threw a fireball as soon as the Zapring was thrown. "BURN!" This was either good or bad. Voulge planned that the Zapring would stun the virus long enough that Ignis could get a clear shot. But now it looked as if he fired it too early and he could only wait and see if it was a success or not.

Voulge flashed out of the way just as another meteor crashed through his afterimage. Finding himself in perfect position to ambush the three Mettfires, he realized too late that the effective range of his Phoenixshot wouldn't be nearly wide enough to catch all three. He made a snap decision and aimed for the two weaker ones and managed a quick double deletion. However, in his moment of hesitation a meteor had locked onto him and struck his shield with devasating force, destroying it in an instant. The surviving Mettfire quickly stopped attacking at this new development and scooted away. Voulge meanwhile took out the two surviving Champus with his yo-yo in a well executed strike but found himself severely weighed down by the toy.
He was able to launch a Zapring at the vulnerable Gaia while Ignis finished it off. During that attack, the other Gaia countered with a rolling quake. Voulge could see the attack coming but couldn't move fast enough with the yo-yo still attached to his finger. He struggled to get it off but it was too late. The wave caught up with him and showered him and Ignis with rocks and debris. It wasn't very powerful but Ignis didn't look as if he could survive another hit like that.

After being blown away from Gaia's rolling quake, Voulge and Ignis regrouped and continued with the battle. Marius was bummed out that Voulge and Ignis was getting beaten up here and there due to some poor choice of actions. "Alright...Note that the Yo-yo string is much harder to let go next time."

Ignis stayed back, tending his own wounds with his healing fire, while Voulge started to walk towards the two remaining viruses. Voulge reeled the lance back with the chain and summoned a the shield to protect him once more. His eye was set on the Gaia who hit him just a few moment ago and leaped towards it with great height. His Lancea transformed into a silver war scythe and the image of Gaia reflected on its blade, informing Voulge that the scythe was hungry for its flesh. Nearing the target, Voulge raised his weapon so he could add more force into his swing, and laid a quick swipe on the unprotected Gaia.
The navi looked around the battlefield and saw the surviving Mettfire scuffling around. He sighed and put took his gauntlet off. "MokoRush chip, if you could." Marius took the chip out and put it into the PET, but he was little confused about why he choose the chip. "With that virus moving around, it's going to be troublesome to land a single blow on it. I wish to trample the virus over.". Voulge, with his bare hand, placed his finger in his mouth and blew a high-pitched whistle that echoed across the area. Soon, a large herd of Molokos came rushing towards the Mettfire and nearly trampled Voulge as well. With the Molokos attacking, this could also assure the deletion of the Gaia virus as well.
Voulge's next action was to use the LavaCannon to finish it off. Putting his gauntlet back on, Voulge twirled the Avaria-Lancea over his head and pointed it towards the Mettfire. The weapon changed shape into a gunlance and Voulge aimed it towards the virus very carefully. He waited till he found the right chance before he pulled the trigger...and *BOOM!*, the Gunlance let out a big explosion as it fired the LavaCannon. Hoping that he finished the viruses off for good, Voulge came towards Ignis and also tended his wounds, but only slightly. "I ain't gonna forgive you because of this!"

Voulge cut through the last Gaia easily, sapping the virus's health for himself in the usual grisly bloodletting ritual. The Mettfire somehow managed to evade the following Moloko rush but couldn't avoid the blast from the LavaCannon and was deleted in a single blow. Before the battle routine ended, Ignis was able to recover almost completely.
