Druidman: MonkeyFinder

A gust of wind blows across the net, bringing in leaves that swirl to form... DruidMan.

Druidman appeared to be on the fringe of a densely populated jungle. Smiling, as he knew that his abilities would be incredibly useful here, he entered the jungle and began to kneel around and examine trees and other flora in hope of picking up the little monkey's trail.

((Uh, look for monkey? Battle one...?))
Druidman finds little at a first glance to help him find the monkey. With closer examination, however, he does notice a small trail of broken twigs and bent stems of underbrush. Following this trail ahead with his eyes, the trail continues until a point just before where it would disappear from even the sharpest eyesight, then stops dead at the trunk of a tree.

In the distance, the sound of a branch snapping echoes through the foliage.
"Hmmm" Druidman hmmed as he came up to the trunk. "Well, it is a monkey, dude." he added to himself.

"Maaan..." he added, as he started to climb the tree to get a better look.
Druidman climbed the tree with little effort, but found that he could not go higher than the lower branches before they became flimsy. From those branches, however, he could see a black shape darting through the treetops some distance ahead.

The sound of another branch snapping met his ears, but from a direction somewhere to the left of where he had seen the black shape.
"Well, shoot." Druidman said to himself from up in the branches. "I wish I knew what color the monkey was."

"Hmmm." he thought for a moment, dropped from the tree, and chased after the black shape as stealthily as possible.
As Druidman follows the black shape, he also catches sight of something else running along the ground ahead of him, presumably also chasing whatever it is.

The identity of the other chaser didn't remain a mystery for long, however, as a voice called out, "Hey, slow down up there." This was followed by a smacking sound, as though something had been thrown at the speaker, then "ow!"
Druidman's eyes narrowed. Someone else was chasing this monkey? That struck him as odd. Well, at any rate, so long as the other Navi kept an eye on it, he would be much easier to track.

Druidman continued to weave through the foliage, saying nothing. If the other Navi noticed him and tried talking, then he'd talk. Until then, he was still on the hunt.
Druidman quickly caught sight of the other pursuer, as well as the black form he was following. The former was a normal navi whose armor had been scratched and stained, presumably from all the plantlife. Its helmet in particular appeared to have sustained significant damage, as though it had been the subject of several beatings. The latter was....a small black monkey.

Both had entered a clearing ahead, in which the navi fell to the ground, panting. "Uhh....I don't think this is the way out, Mr. Monkey," it said between gasps for breath. "Are you sure you're going the right way?"

The monkey cheeped mischievously, dancing on the branch it had landed on. It then produced a large coconut seemingly out of nowhere and tossed it at the navi.
"What the?" Druidman whispered, seeing his target clearly now. "I don't get it, dude." he complained to himself.

Oh well. He started to edge around while still in the jungle around the clearing to get behind the monkey so it couldn't run again.
The monkey threw another coconut, which bounced off the other navi's head and landed near the confused Druidman. The monkey cheeped again, this time sounding more like it was laughing than calling out randomly.

"Hey, watch it with the damn coconuts!" the navi said. From Druidman's new position, he could see that the coconut beaning victim was looking extremely irritated by this point.
Hmm. Druidman hadn't tried a manuver like this in quite some time. He was certainly capable of it, but he wasn't sure if time and rust would get the better of him.

He stooped down, coiling his legs, and, pitching his body forward slightly, outstretched his arms and launched himself outwards in a pounce to do a quick 'grab and go' of that silly monkey.
Druidman lunged at the monkey and managed to make a loose grab of it, though not secure enough to hold on to it for long. The monkey screeched loudly, struggling to break free as the other navi noticed Druidman for the first time.

"Ah, hello," it said, walking towards them and activating a sword chip. "Hold that guy there, this will only take a moment."

Realizing its imminent danger, or possibly having struggled just enough, the monkey launched itself out of Druidman's grip and clung to the face of the other navi until it stumbled into a tree on the other side of the clearing, where the monkey jumped off again and hung from the lowest branch.

Meanwhile, when the navi peeled itself off the tree, it looked too angry for words or common sense and lunged at the first thing it saw: Druidman.

"Uh, I don't think so, dude." Druidman said as pulled up his gauntlet, which had leaves curling up into a cone. "You better back off!" he said, with a casual backwards flip and wave of that arm, which sent the cone off spiraling through the air, guided towards the crazed Navi.

Seeing that a single attack would do little to stop the madman, Druidman curled his hand together into a fist, and, feeling earthen power surge through it, swung his body forwards, down at waist level, going for an uppercut to end all boxing matches. "I said... CHILL."

Deciding that he had defended himself at least modestly, Druidman then moved in front of the monkey. "I've got ya, little guy!" as he held up a medium size wooden shield.

Druidman connects with the magnum, incinerating and cracking a patch of earth around the navi, which fell apart as it lunged forward toward him. As it reached him, the navi drew his sword back to attack, but instead met Druidman's fist, which sent him flying back into a large hole now in the middle of the clearing.

Druidman then moved to where the monkey was still sitting (now on top of the branch) and set up a guard to defend it, and with good reason as viruses began to crawl out of the underbrush surrounding the clearing. The berserk navi wasn't done yet, however, as it crawled out of the hole and blindly attacked the shield, causing the sword to bounce off and bury itself in the navi's head.

The monkey, meanwhile, hopped up and down on top of the branch like nothing had happened.

((Okay, this is how it's going to work. Viruses are going to keep appearing, about four per turn, until you get out with the monkey. You can stay and fight, but the longer you do the more likely the monkey's going to be deleted.))
"Woo!" Druidman called as he scooped up the monkey and started to bolt for the edge of the woods. As an afterthought, He drew his scimtar, and, quickly charging some Steel magic into it, slung a wad of metallic goo in his wake.

Then he ran. A lot.

The monkey immediately started struggling in Druidman's grasp, but failed to escape as Druidman left a parting gift for the approaching viruses in the form of metallic...well, goo, and made a break for it.

The Metagel attack crushed both of the mushrooms easily, but when a third glob fell on the Dragrin, the virus vanished from under it, reappearing in front of Druidman and lighting the grass beneath it and him on fire. Druidman and the monkey burned for a bit, though fortunately Druidman managed to shield the monkey from extra damage from the burning underbrush.

It then reappeared near the liquid metal spill, where it sat as more viruses appeared and began to pursue Druidman.

The monkey, meanwhile, tossed a coconut at the spider that remained of the original viruses, appearing to piss it off.

"Whu-oh, dude!" Druidman yelped as he was scorched. "Gotta move quicker!" Druidman focused a little bit of healing energy onto the monkey, Then, waving his scimitar behind him, felt a pulse and crackle of electricty as a huge blast of thunder issued from the edge of the blade, backwards towards his pursuers. Keeping his grip on the monkey, Druidman continued his run through the foliage. If anyone knew of a safe way to job through thick underbrush like this, it was Druidman.

Druidman healed the monkey, which appeared to calm down slightly after the constant struggling it had been doing, then sent a blast of lightning at the pursuing viruses.

All the viruses were hit, though whether this was a good thing or not was debatable. Both teddy viruses suddenly grew into enormous, enraged and began charging after Druidman and the monkey, running over the spider from the clearing that had tried to teleport to him and ended up falling short as he ran. And even still, more viruses began appearing out of the trees.

The monkey, sensing them, threw a coconut at what it thought was the closest one, a totem pole.

"Dude, this isn't working!" Druidman yelled, "How could I have stumbled into such a virus breeding ground?!" he called in despair. "I don't think I can make it to the edge in time, I'm just not fast enough, and there are too many of these dudes, man!" he said to the monkey.

"Unless..." he suddenly thought. "It's a risk, but it might just save us, monkey!" and then he trailed off, a series of words forming under his breath in an alien tongue. His eyes glowed purple.

And then, a blast of air came at his back, and he felt the winds of a mighty storm start around him.

This was going to hurt.

He felt razor sharp leaves whip around him.

This was going to hurt a lot.

He jumped up into the wind tunnel.

A whole lot.

He held the monkey close to his chest protectively.

Lots.

Druidman...ran away, barely avoiding twin flamethrowers from the totem poles. Rightfully, however, he decided simply running wouldn't get him out in time and instead chose to do something that, like he suspected, would hurt. Lots.

Whipping up a tornado around himself, Druidman tried to control it enough to cause it to hurl him at the edge of the woods. He managed fairly well, but also managed to hit and break through several branches on his way out and eventually fell to the ground and tumbled to a halt outside the jungle.

When he landed, however, the monkey finally managed to wrestle out of his grasp, also looking badly injured, and just in time to see the two now berserking bears approaching the edge of the woods too. The monkey, apparently wanting to get out alive as well, produced another object out of nowhere and threw it at the bears, where it bounced off one and hit the other as well, deleting both.

....wait a minute, was that a kitchen sink?
