A puddle appeared in the bright, cheery spaces of Beach Street's Network, and from it, rises the shape of the Aqua Navi, Eternalis.EXE. So, okay, he was supposed to deliver this document, whatever it was, and instructed not to look. Not even a peek. He supposed that the document contained sensitive information, and it took every ounce of will he possessed not to open the file. Harke said earlier that he'd installed some sort of NCP to help locate where exactly he was supposed to deliver it.
Uh... activate Guide Beacon program?
Blast, he had no idea how to activate the NCP. Oh well, he guessed that it would activate once in Beach Net, as the NCP came with no instructions.
Mission: Document Delivery

GUIDE BEACON INITIATING
To Eternalis' surprise, his voice command did the job as a pillar of blueish white light appeared in front of the navi. It was pulsating back and forth, most likely deducing the location of delivery, until it gave out a one, blinding flash.
LOCATION #870719638A LOCKED. PLEASE PROCEED TO ONE OF THE DIRECTIONS
The tip of the pillar divided into two ways, one pointing northeast while the other, northwest...
[Which direction will you proceed?]

(( Oh dear god, I hope I don't get a text adventure. ))
Eternalis leapt back in surprise, looking at the white pillar with a questioning look. Seems it wants him to go in one of two directions... Well, it's giving me a choice. Where should I go...?
Y'know, I think I heard somewhere that right is right, so uh, northeast it is. Eternalis obliged his operator's request and began heading in the direction.

The beacon dissipated once Eternalis took a single step towards northeast and formed into a small orb of light, guiding the navi towards like a compass. After a few minute of walking, the overall scenery was filled with the mix of grass hills and sands on the sides; a rare, tranquil scene anyone could appreciate

Viruses. He kind of expected it, but not this many! He surveyed the battlefield, and none he recognized. A kind of trumpet-thing, some hat-wearing samurai-folk, a few oddly colored Metools.
Great, viruses, and all new! Harke, database up, please!
Harke quickly navigated to the database installed inside his PET, reading out his findings.
Okay. Tuby, 90HP. Assists other viruses by playing a tune. Genin, 60HP. Attacks with its sword. Metool EX, 70HP, pumped up Metool. That's about it. Okay, so I think we should take out a Tuby first with that new attack, since they assist other viruses. ZapRing the remaining Tuby, so it can't help the others. Teleport auto-dodge, then a data-assisted Boomerang. All clear? the operator said as he slotted in the appropriate chips for the strategy.
Clear!
Then, let's delete some viruses!
Eternalis felt the surge of chip data as his operator gave the rousing cheer. Smirking, he held up his right arm, and pointed it at a Tuby. Instead of activating the icicle process, however, he pressurized the water inside the arm-output of his armor. There was a rather loud sloshing inside the armor as the charge was complete. Kneeling into a firing position, Eternalis released the high-pressure water at the enemy, the blast of water imbued with an incredible amount of force.
Then, he proceeded to direct his energy into his left arm. This time, there came sparks from the arm, which was glowing bright yellow with a frenzy of energetic pulses. When he no longer could stand the shocks running through his arm, he stood up and pointed it at the remaining trumpet-blower. Then, Eternalis shot a small ring of yellow lightning towards the instrument.
Next, he activated his vapor-change process, sending him into the atmosphere, a mere haze of leftover steam left in his wake. Gathering targeting information about his enemies, he un-vaporized behind the virus group. Then, he directed the water in his right arm into a definite shape. The water then flowed into a mould, held with invisible forces, taking the shape of a large arc. The water washed away, revealing the large metallic Boomerang. Then, Eternalis' eyes glowed a slight green, his processes accessing the earlier targeting data. Swinging back his arm, the deadly metal in hand, he threw the weapon in a mighty burst of strength, sending it screaming towards the Genin.

The Tuby was completely swept away from the powered water jet, catching the supposedly offensive virus group in confusion. Before they could make their moves, the second Tuby was struck by the electric ring and Eternalis vanished before their eyes.
The navi materialized behind the Genins and immediately prepared the Boomerang, giving only one Genin the chance to dodge in instinct while the other two wasn't so fortunate. In quick retaliation, the lone survivor of the attack turned and fired two steel daggers towards Eternalis, both hitting right on Eternalis' left bicep.

Is that... Eternalis began to say, as the daggers of the Genin's earlier attack flew out harmlessly, seemingly of their own accord. The wound that the daggers made in Eternalis' watery body closed in on itself, filling itself with its surroundings.
...all you've GOT?!
Quick to respond to his Navi, Harke slid in a couple of chips to help his Navi. He tne swiftly gave instructions, Shoot the Tuby, make sure to pump the shotgun's extra burst for that Metool EX. FireHit a Metool, then icicle a Genin. Go!
Eternalis nodded in agreement to his operator, then released the Shotgun data into his right arm. The arm complied, flowing out of the arm-output to form two long, blue barrels, which he pointed quickly at the stunned trumpeter. Kneeling back into his firing position, he launched the shot at the Tuby, making sure to aim for the nearby Metool as well.
Then, he stood back up, and charged his fist with the fire within him, which changed the fist into a large red glove, burning in the seaside Net. Taking an offensive posture, he did a quick jab towards the other Metool, sending the fiery attack towards the Metool. Then, not wasting any time, he retracted the fire energy back, and sent the icicle process instead, changing his focus at the same time towards a surviving Genin. As the icicle completed its formation, Eternalis fired the frosty missile towards the virus warrior with a smooth wave of his hand.

The helpless Tuby along with the oblivious Metool was caught in the line of Eternalis' shotgun, both getting shot down by a single blow. In hesitation, the other metool struck his pickaxe straight onto the ground, sending a powerful shockwave right towards the navi, but it was instantly deleted the moment right after it took a head on hit by a burning knuckle. Eternalis took the shock wave head on, opening the recently close wound with no problem, but he braved on and fired the icicle to peg down the few remaining Genin. With only one virus left, the last Genin wasn't going to go down with out a fight and rushed in towards Eternalis. Brandishing its short, but lethally sharp moonblade, the virus tried to cut the navi but instead cut through the icy shield created from the attack before.

Eternalis felt quite irritated at the shockwaves the green Metool sent at him. It was pretty rude to do something like that when you were on the brink of killing them. Isn't it?
Your attacks aren't going to work, virus. You're alone.
Eternalis started to run calculations through his head, optimizing the angles of attack to precision, lines of mathematical formulae running around his field of vision, trying to get the best possible angle for attack. His operator saw the lone virus and simply slotted in a chip, knowing his Navi would know what to do with it.
You're worthless alone. You virus creeps always go in packs. Never alone. Never trying to better yourselves!
The aquatic Navi felt the chip his operator sent him course through his offensive processes, and he released the data into his right arm. His calculations done, he proceeded forward to the foolhardy Genin and sent his clawed hand across space. Moving smoothly, he went through some maneuvers of dodging, trying to move away from the virus's possible attacks, as well as preparing to strike again if his first swipe didn't come through.

With a little more precaution this time, Eternalis went right towards the last virus and landed a precise cut through the torso. With the last virus defeated, the navi was free to continue onward and deliver the document. The beacon placed it self into the ground once more, revealing another split in the pillar, pointing East or North...a strange pair of direction...

Zenny, not too bad. And the pillar... still not giving him a solid choice. Oh well.
Hey, Harke. East or north?
Huuuuuh, Harke immediately fished in his pockets and found a spare coin, flipped it and found that it had heads. North.
North it was, and Eternalis started walking once more.

Walking straight forward from his current position, Eternalis didn't see any change in the environment as it kept the green grass along with the golden sand. Upon landing a small patch of sand, viruses rose from the ground like before and surrounded the navi!

Feeling a bit sore from the earlier battle, Eternalis rubbed the spots where the viruses from the earlier battle hit him. The Metool's shockwave didn't do much to his self-healing exterior, but it still kind of hurt. Nonetheless, he braved the pain as the dent in his watery composition filled itself in and removed all traces of the wound. Suddenly, he was stopped as he stepped in some sand. So far, he'd been walking on dry grass all day, and the sand was unwelcome as it hampered his movements quite a bit.
Ngh, what's with this sand? It's getting in me and messing it up... Then, he looked up from his foot, only to see an even more unwanted sight: Viruses. And a retard-load of them, too.
Hey, Harke. Thar be some viruses. Scan 'em, will ya? Eternalis said as he started his preparations for battle, warming up. His operator made quick work of the virus database, and pulled up a few entries.
Okay, got it. Mushroom viruses, 80HP. Teleports and releases spores as attack. SnakeArms, 130HP, oh, that'll be tough to handle. They can backbite for a fair amount of force. And finally Skeeters, attacks in swarms, which you can plainly see.
What do we do, then? I think we outta smash those snakes in before they get a hit, the Navi suggested, raring to attack.
No, we'll save those for later. I'm more worried about that Skeeter swarm. We should take that out. Power comes in numbers, I'd say. You'll whack their heads together with a few good knocks. I'll send in the RageClaw, that'd go well. As he planned out the attack, Eternalis charged his vapor process, ready for a straight charge into enemy territory. This sand was hampering his progress, anyway.
Battlechip, RageClaw2, slot in! his operator shouted as he put in the chip, sending the attack data to Eternalis. As soon as he heard his operator yell the battlecry, Eternalis started his change, instantly turning to a mere poof of heated steam. As he traveled towards the Skeeter group, he received the data, and primed it for action. Reappearing smack in the middle of the Skeeter swarm, he sprang into action as he thrust his open claw towards the nearest bug, clamped it shut and threw his closed hand towards his neighbour, releasing his fist as he did. Following up, he went for the next pair, this time simply sending his hand in a collision course towards the critter, aligning it with its adjacent partner. Then, keeping the momentum of his slapping motion, he did the same for the third pair of Skeeters, ending his actions for the time. Awaiting his operator's next move, he crouched slightly, ready for more.

Eternalis disappeared in a blink of an eye, setting the viruses in a state of confusion and left them self open for the navi's surprise attack! Reappearing in the center of the Skeeters, Eternalis proceeded to massacre the Skeeters by slamming their bodies against one another, quickly wiping the group off the living world. Though this started great for the navi, he left himself wide open against the remaining viruses.
The spongy Mushys dug underground and rooted towards Eternalis, digging through the soils and grasses with little to no effort. Two viruses sprouted besides Eternalis and began to puff out dense spore clouds that slowly eroded the navi's exterior! They dug down again to back away from the viruses, and before Eternalis could retaliate, his vision became blurry...very blurry...

Argh! Those damned Mushrooms sneaked up on him.. now he's practically blind! Fuck, why can't I see?! Urrrrrgh! His eyes grew dark, dimming from their usual yellow color as he struggled to find his vision, flickering for a few moments before changing into black circles. Then, a striking dizziness hit his systems, and the Aqua Navi clutched his head-output, covering his eyes and roaring loudly to will away the buzzing feeling. Then, he staggered up to stand straight, and conversed with his operator in private mode.
Harke! Give me the Sword! I think I can see again! the Navi lied, still straining to keep away the dizziness.
Y..you okay, Et? I mean, you look all spaced out and stuff...
JUST GIVE IT TO ME! the Navi suddenly screamed out of private mode. Suddenly, his eyes alighted, but this time a distinct red instead. Harke looked worried for a second, but hurried to the Sword chip in his spread, picking it up and sending it into the chip input slot, almost dropping it for a second. R-right. S-Sword, slot in.
Eternalis looked at his hand, immediately pleased to see that a long sword shape was forming itself at his right hand. Chuckling to himself, he looked at what he presumed to be a Mushroom virus. Hurtling himself at the figure, he brought his sword-arm to execute a horizontal slash, intending to cleave the viruses in half. Bringing it down slowly afterwards, he turned his head slowly, looking around at the blurs that surrounded him... and slowly began to laugh. Maniacally.
Heheheheh... You viruses... picked the wrong day to mess with ME!
Lunging at another blur-shape he thought to be one of the damned fungi, he brought the deadly weapon swiftly into a vertical slice, and you could almost hear the sickening sound of virus data being rent into pieces. Still moving, he kept up his pace, moving around in a quick but calculated maneuver, aiming to evade any attacks the viruses may still have for him.

Still moving, he kept up his pace, moving around in a quick but calculated maneuver, aiming to evade any attacks the viruses may still have for him.

Even if Eternalis tried to shake off the effect of the spores, it was still too strong for the navi to fully overcome. Swinging the sword like a madman, he was completely oblivious about his own safety when the two mushys rolled in again for the attack. Both was successful, but the confusion was already in effect and one was caught in the navi's wild swings. Also, with a stroke of luck, one of the SnakeArm that tried to attack Eternalis from the back also got a taste of the blade and fended the virus off!
