Monsterous Deeds (And huntings)

Asymptote shook off the shocking jots that had assailed him, and began moving towards the edges of the area to get out of the water. His adversary was still cackling and humming madly to himself while the music bored its way into his psyche, and the slow-moving notes continued to track with him, but with a twist and a brief loop, another, larger musical note blasted from the central speaker at the front of the plane. Asymptote could be fairly sure he'd drained this attack of its power to harm, but there was something else off about the note as it sailed towards him; it crackled with an arcing pulse of electricity that his instincts told him wouldn't be good, and at the last moment he dodged it anyway, leaving the note to scatter against a console instead. The console locked up, stuttering for a few long seconds.

With the bi-plane looping above and turning form its latest attack, Asymptote took aim and fired a heavy cannon shell up at it. At first his aim looked good, with a perfect triangulation of where the plane would be when the shot reached it, however, just before it connected, the gusting winds curling about the plane flared swiftly, deflecting the cannon round. It arced back towards Asymptote himself, and thudded into the ground a few feet from him with a resounding impact and a splash of water. The splash, unfortunately, seemed to be because the stormy weather was spreading the flooding pool further and further. By the time Asymptote had the chance to take a look at it, there was no more dry ground left. the only place he could keep his feet dry would be on top of one of the consoles... but their metallic bodes would likely prove no consolation against the mad pilot's electrical offence.

The hulking navi tried again, this time attempting to give the creature some of is own unwanted medicine, with a trailing thunder bolt. It chased after the plane as it flew a lop, but just as it seemed like it was about to strike one of the plane's wings, the pilot did a barrel roll and the shot flew past. It turned, continuing to trail, and the pilot didn't seem to notice that he was still being followed by the shot.

Asymptote grumbled loudly under his breath as he was quick to be drenched by another torrent of rain, not to mention his attacks going wide enough to see his foe evade them completely...even if his Thunder was still going at the moment, he couldn't believe how bad things have become. The plane was in a constant loop over the sea. If things didn't finish before long...was he going to die? What about everyone else on the plane? What would become of them in the middle of the sea? The wind was screwing up his aim, this was certainly a life and death situation. But...did he have it in him to stop this?

Despite the blowing winds and the soaked ground that he had been standing in, he wasn't going to have long to think. He needed a plan of attack and soon before things turned far worse, but even before he could think of something, the his of electrical energy reached his ears. He had almost forgotten about the notes that had continued to chase after him. But before he could move, a click entered his PET. A moment passed before a black spire of a tower began to rise out of the ground, water crashing from the wide obelisk as it rose up to the side of Asymptote. The tower's black sheen quickly lit up with all manner of lights as a simple UFO began to zoom in from outside the battlefield, green, yellow and white alternating colors on the surface of the tower as an antenna extended from the tip of the spire as the silver UFO circled around the top of it for the moment, awaiting commands.

Asymptote would be quick himself to then rush from his position at the edge of the battle field where the winds were strongest. His feet splashing through the water as he hauled ass from his chip created structure, knowing full well it wouldn't protect him for long thanks to the moist environment, trying to move towards one of the nearby metal terminals to help block attacks against, attempting to slide up behind it with his bulky body. But with a quick groan, the navi activated his signature processors, his body quick to be taken over by all manner of pustule infested articles, bubbles of yellow filled boils slowly covering around his torso to give him a way to protect and soften the blows he would be sure to take against the enemy.

Inhaling as another chip was inserted into the PET, the navi let out an exhale. With that exhale, a purple bubble began to expand from his mouth-grill. With a few more breaths, the navi had summoned a purple looking Cloudy virus, a rusty and dilapidated metal umbrella in it's hands atop it's head as the navi pointed upwards towards the navi that had been causing this trouble for him. The cloudy, nodding, immediately went to work as it floated up, up, up into the air, high above where SoS was to reign in the skies, even as the winds had begun to blow into it's almost non-existent bulky body. The viral outcropping of it's family began to push the umbrella up and down above it's head, and with it, a green shower of acid rain began to pour down as it began to move to and fro, attempting to battle against the high winds that attacked it.

Whilst the navi did it's duty to attack with great aplomb, the created structure whirred to life again, it's four faces communicating several different types of colors from a simple white, up to a...checkerboard pattern of green, yellow, red and black? Huh, air traffic control has stepped up it's game. Anyways. The UFO that had been circling the structure whirred back to life as it made one more pass around it's home structure before speeding off with a loud, and high pitched humming noise. Rising higher and higher into the air as it sped through the winds that threatened to crash land it's attacks indiscriminately, the UFO whirred to a point in the air and waited for a brief second, still fighting against the winds that plagued it's attempts to attack. But before long, a spike of electricity dropped from the bottom of the UFO, crackling and thundering about as rings of electrical energy collected towards the bottom of the spike. Before long, an electrical beam of energy thundered from the bottom of the UFO, a brief second flashed before it ended, the panel the beam had landed on, however, had a cracked and dry look to it, as if all the standing water that had accumulated on it...was evaporated.

With his foe cackling overhead, Asymptote could feel the pinch of his limited options and began to call in what reinforcements he could muster. The turbulent winds whipped into a frenzy around the plane as it circled and twisted in erratic loops, the insane laughter and humming growing and fading as the brain-unravelling music dopplered to and fro. More lightning crackled in the storm clouds overhead and the rain pelted down hard and thick; it was almost easier to track the madman by sound, rather than sight at this point.

As the control tower burst up from the panels to give Asymptote some cover from the crackling shots closing in on him, a pulse of the music welled in his ears suddenly, trying to claw its way further into his brain and making his vision spin. For a few moments it felt as though it might be blurring out his sight, but Asymptote managed to shake it off before it took effect. A bolt of bright electricity lit the sky as his allied UFO launched a powerful strike, but thought the line was good, the plane corkscrewed directly towards the summoned craft, twisting around the bolt while he pilot screeched and flew by, attempting to ram the saucer. There was no apparent effect, and the UFO was free to attempt another attack later.

"Wrong way! Wrong way!! Spin around, and around, more! More! Faster!!" Asymptote heard the laboured screeching of the plane's engines careen by above him through the heavy rain, followed by his trailing thunder bolt; just as the plane rose and gave it an opportunity to strike, the shot was buffeted away by the fierce winds and dropped back to the water below, missing Asymptote himself by only a short way. Fortunately, the current dissipated before it reached him. Less diffuse, the three sparking notes that were homing back towards him clustered in. On this second pass, one missed him again, while another struck the control tower he was covering behind. The third lined up its unpredictable zig-zagging to dart around had strike Asymptote himself, but the hulking navi had restored his tougher, hardened skin a moment before and he managed to shrug off the damage.

More, smaller electrical bolts dropped form the plane as it climbed again, but its aim was poor this time and the only one that seemed to carry any real threat potential splashed into the water with a shock-wave and a ringing sound effect.

"Hey! Wait! No! Stop that!" Up above, a single cloud was going against the general whipping of the storm and proceeded to rain heavily corrosive droplets over the deranged bi-plane. As much as the pilot seemed, dubiously, to be enjoying the rest of the storm, this shower quickly corroded the plane's protective armouring, and the pilot tried, without effect, to roll away from it, streaking in a widening circle across the space.

Asymptote grunted out as he felt the pulse of energy flooding his vision, a faint static filling the corners of his sight before disappearing all together, a moment later his own thunder came crashing down near him, but thankfully dissipating completely before splashing into the water next to him, the navi letting out a quiet sigh as he avoided being shocked twice over, his bulky casing dissipating the shocking electrical attack into it's self without harming him. But he wasn't about to let it go...he needed to grapple the monster above. It seemed to be his only shot at actually taking him out.

Asymptote, grabbing the sides of the Terminal that he was next to, quickly brought himself up atop the stationary console, just barely able to stand atop it without falling over himself. The navi was unsure of what to do next, but a pair of click noises was quick to dispel his thought processes. I'm in the front of the plane Asymptote. We're doing what we can to bring the plane back into alignment with our original trajectory. People are also trying to jack back into the network, but are being blocked by an outside source. Joseph chimed in on Asymptote's private communications, with a crackle and hiss from outside sources, a deep rumble heard in the back of Asymptote's mind. We're the only ones who can take control and take this...thing down right now. Though...the techies on board are telling us there are still navis inside the system. You're on your own till the storm passes and we're regaining control little by little...but everyone's watching your fight. Everyone's cheering for you...but we won't be in mortal danger if we fail. Joseph continued, though the crackle and hisses got ever louder in his mind...the deep rumble soon drowning out what his netop had to say after that.

Asymptote stood there stoic, staring up into the stormy clouds that still surrounded everything, the wind howling around him as rain continued to drown everything around him. But he felt a lighter burden than he had before. His chest heavy still, but not as...suffocating as it was before. Asymptote closed his eyes as the winds howled and rumbled around him, lighting crashing behind him as a green cape dawned his back and a pair of goggles were quick to fasten to his face. But before he could move, a loud crack echoed in his mind, even as the green cape was threatened to be torn off his back and sucked into the torrent behind him, Asymptote clenched his fingers into his hands. Even as the chaos whipped up around him, he was calm, even welcoming of the claws that began to slide out between the knuckles on the backs of his hands. An ivory white with clinging bits of red flesh and marrow into pointed tips with jagged ends.

Whilst his body adapted, the cloudy was still hard at work at trying to rain on mister SoS's parade even more than he had to those on the plane, pumping it's umbrella even harder than before as the sickly green rain continued to dribble down the area, moving to and fro slowly before finally ending, the cloudy virus dropping it's hands and finally being pulled into the torrent of winds that whipped up about the area, unable to keep it's form going for another moment. But whilst the Cloudy disappeared, the RemoBit continued its assault on the invading pest of SoS, the UFO saucer flying about SoS's current path in a wide berth as Asymptote finally opened his eyes, a crackling bit of lightning looking to strike at the invader's body just the same as earlier, but before hand, Asymptote relayed a couple messages to it before it could swoop into where SoS was flying at. Divert. Towards. Me. Do. Not. Attack. Directly. Attempt. To. Fake. Out.

The Saucer, suffice to say, was not happy with Asymptote's relay. But despite everything, it was content to help the navi with his crazy plan. The saucer swooped in towards where the enemy was flying about, circling around it's general area before...with a crackle of lighting...zapped towards the side of SoS' craft, attempting to divert the anomaly towards where it's controller was at. Or, at the very least, burn a dodge on the fake out so Asymptote could strike true against the cackling menace.

Let me show these people just what a monster can do...but I can only hope it works out in my favor... With a sigh, Asymptote was quick to make a few brief calculations towards his trajectory of what he planned to do. For the good of everyone on this plane...let this work. He thought briefly as he took a leap of faith from the console that he had been standing on for the moment, his body catching the air by a good few feet. The navi spread his clawed hands out towards his sides and the cape was quick to react, spreading out to catch both his arms, hooks quickly latched themselves into his muscles, the cape turning a cyan hue as it began to rumble briefly. Pressurized air caught underneath the cape was quick to catch and, with it, he blasted off with great force. His body catching the wind resistance early on, his bulky frame slowed down his descent into the air, but he still gained enough to cut through the clouds. Ears quick to open up as the cape disintegrated into thin, well, air, Asymptote looked all over for the creature that was causing the second half of his mess in the air. He was hopeful he could catch SoS on a pass through, his claws stretched out in front of him, the navi attempted to catch the claws onto SoS' plane as the thought of falling, and more importantly, the feeling of disorientation, began to set in. If there is a kind god out there...or any for that matter...LET THIS WORK!

RemoteBit--->Attempt to divert SoS into Asymptote's path
With his efforts to bring the mad pilot down from the ground, Asymptote changed plans and got daring; the knowledge that failure wouldn't necessarily send his operator plummeting into the ground was a weight off his shoulders and the sudden lightness allowed him to take to the skies. Sort of.

The wind was still lashing in a cyclone of currents as the rain plastered everything in a hail of ice cold needles, and through the storm cloud,s he could still hear the deranged singing along with the incessant music. The final efforts of his allied storm cloud managed to line up another corrosive shower with the machine, but it seemed as though the previous exo-proofing of the bi plane's outer surfaces had kicked in again — along with another errant lightning bolt that struck the right wing of the contraption. The pilot cursed and giggled in equal amount, shouting at the storm cloud even as he continued to sing uneven bars of the music and swerve the plane back and forth.

Moving in closer, asymptote watched the plane's trajectory, arcing around in its broad loops and lining himself up. His remote striker veered in and sent another searing bolt towards the plane, to push it onto the right course; at any other time, the bolt might have missed, being deliberately aimed to encourage the evasion, but the pilot rolled his contraption fiercely and the bolt blasted through the left wing tip at the peak of its roll anyway, causing a momentary blare of the music and a thick plume of black smoke to join the dark grey of the storm clouds. Even so, the bi-plane remained aloft and curved away from the bolt, right into the line that Asymptote wanted.

When the timing was right the hulking navi launched himself upwards at the right angle to go rocketing towards the flying menace, at what turned out to be a speed rather faster than was conducive to a safe docking. there was a crash of crumpling metal as he slammed body first into the front of the plane, damaging one wing as his bulk rolled over it. The plane shuddered and began to spiral, and Asymptote was briefly rewarded by a terrified shriek from the pilot, somewhere not far from his ear. the gale force winds tried to tear at him as he struck, and the plane itself felt electrified, sending stunning jolts through his body, but Asymptote shrugged both of these feelings off without harm, instead scrabbling at the plane as he tumbled over its back, trying hard to get purchase with his claws.

The plane was falling and spiralling madly, amidst a rapid increase in the pace and tempo of the music — indeed the out of control spinning of the plane seemed only to speed it up and heighten the rate at which the maddening tune drilled its way into asymptote's brain. Dazed and confused by the pervasive sound, he struggled and ultimately failed to find a good purchase with his claws, the feeling of gravity and centrifugal force ultimately tore his body away from the plane and he crashed down a few moments later back into the water that was still rising... but strangely the fall hadn't been too far, and it didn't seem like he'd suffered from the landing at all.

Above, the plane was still tyring to level out, smoke pouring out of its engines while the pilot alternately laughed, cackled and screamed in terror. If nothing else, it was much closer to the ground now, and it didn't seem able to climb properly again, for the time being.

Asymptote had managed to aim correctly, even managed to hit SoS with his RemoteBit, everything had come up right for Asymptote in the past few moments...but he was quick to be brought back down to earth. The entire battle field swirled around his vision as well as his body being on pins and needles and his movement speed slowed down, but fortunately he could still move. Even while standing in the sea water that continued to pour down he could feel his body getting lower and lower down in the water. The navi, with claws bared, would not stop at anything to take out SoS before they cracked and disappeared.

Though, disorientation was not a fun thing for him, eyes practically rolling all around the inside of his skull, Asymptote was undeterred by the possibility of missing his target. If nothing else, he could potentially get a lucky blow or two and end this fight. And he couldn't let this opportunity pass him by, there was only so much more he could do in this moment of time. But he would do his best to make this opportunity count.

Letting out a gutteral roar of anger at SoS, his steps heavy as he ran through the water at the flailing and failing creature just over the water. Kicking up water all over himself as the ripples grew more and more ferocious, Asymptote was quick to leap at the irritant. Claws hooking downwards, the navi attempted to claw his way through not just the plane, but the navi piloting it in a vicious and brutal display, water droplets cut through as he swung his arms in a furious display of madness and anger, vision a hazy byproduct of the adrenaline rushing through his synthetic veins. With a multitude of potential slashes and stabs made at SoS, the navi jumped back to make way for the RemoteBit to come in.

With a loud whistling sound shooting across the sky, the metal saucer floated down from the skies as it began to whirr and hiss loudly. It's time having come to an end, it would make one final attack upon the enemy Asymptote had attempted to rip and tear his claws through. Electricity crackling across the craft's body in it's entirety, smoke began to billow out of the top of the metal craft, an explosion ringing out as fires began to billow out even more so than the smoke that followed. More explosions rocketed through the craft as it was quick to fall from the skies, aimed towards SoS in a blaze of glory, it attempted to make a simple Kamikaze attack upon the foe, in an attempt to take it out as it exploded even louder than before, shrapnel and tech showering the area as it's control tower disappeared into the ether.

RemoteBit--->SoS (80 Elec)
Dazed and confused by the hammering music, Asymptote did his best to put the final blows on the insane pilot, who continued to cackled and scream, and occasionally clutch at his head now that the music was picking up pace and spinning faster every second. Water splashed as the former teacher flailed with his claws, unsure if he was even attacking the right target, while the plane careened back and forth at ground level ,attempting to gain altitude again. Somewhere in the confused melee, Asymptote felt himself buffeted by a turbulent slip-stream and lashed out to catch metal in his claws with a rending sound.

The plane twisted, hit one console with a wing, then crashed hard only a short way from Asymptote. A little clearer, he moved in, but amidst the insane shouts for more spinning and faster spinning, alternated with cries that everything was spinning too fast, the pilot was beating at the controls while the loud-speakers crackled and arced. Masses of musical notes began to pour from the plane, scattering everywhere, and three of them struck asymptote as he approached, sending his last swing wide as well while the electricity coursed through him and into the water below. Just when it seemed like he wouldn't have enough left in the tank to finish the fight, however, a sound from above heralded the final crashing dive of his remote ally; it thundered into the crashed plane in an eye-blinding explosion that drowned out the music and at last cut it short.

Gradually, the wind died down and the rain began to stop, reduced to a light shower while Asymptote cleared his senses and regain control of his faculties. The water was beginning to recede as well, leaving only the control terminals and the wreck of the downed bi-plane — a reassurance that the real plane would not share a similar fate. There seemed to be no sign of the pilot, though Asymptote did manage to find some decent spoils for his efforts.

Asymptote's eyes would finally come back to normal, sight restored and the motion sickness subsiding as he breathed raggedly, his eyes closing as he could return to normal...falling over backwards with a loud splash, kicking water up several feet into the air with a resounding thud. The nails on his hands detached and fell off with a resounding clatter, Asymptote's body worn and battered from the constant combat. A resounding cheer in the back of his head as the plane was safe, onlookers cheering for his success.

We thank you for riding with us today. We are on our way on course to Netopia. We thank you for your patience today and, rest assured,
you all will be compensated as our higher ups decide. And for everyone who helped with our viral outbreak, we will compensate you for your efforts today.
I repeat...

Asymptote sighed out as he just enjoyed the fact everything was alright. The navi just laying there, unmoving as navis began to come in, mostly normal navis in aviation suits stomping in to oversee the repairs of the network. Asymptote sighed as he began to move, every muscle in his body screaming at him to stop. But before he could do or say anything, a rumble of lightning echoed through the area. And a CRACK-A-THOOM, lightning raining down upon the navi, electrical pulses exploding through the air and striking Asymptote dead on. The navi letting out a roar of pain as the crew turned to see his body flashing briefly before a Jack-Out signal grabbed Asymptote before further damage could be dealt to him.

Was that Necessary? One voice, gruff and masculine, said, an aqua blue cloak around his body and draped over his form completely. It seemed to not be near the operation systems where Asymptote had been seated at. I know you want to experiment...but...he's been through a lot.

Hahaha. You act as though I care. Another voice, feminine and high as it dripped with venom, responded, a ruby red cloak draped across her own body. It's for the good of him, after all. Normal Elemental Navis...bore me. Why not spice things up? I can only assume his body will adapt to that bolt of lighting. Right yellow? She asked, a gold yellow cloaked navi next to her. Metal hand crackling with lightning. The figure lowered it's hand, but remained silent. Oh? Nothing to say? Oh well. Lets leave before they catch us, we have much data to go through.

With those final words, the blue and red cloaked navis disappeared into a beam of light, as the yellow figure stood there for a brief moment afterwards, the aviation navis scrambling about. Don't falter. Asymptote.
