Cooling off, Lucia took a few long, soft breaths before her smile returned and she started to skip about the battlefield, gathering up the rewards from a bothersome battle. Artio was quick to take up the fragments left behind as well before moving up beside her. With arm around the SP, navi started to move deeper into the net that was quickly becoming far more dangerous then when she'd first entered.

After winning over the group of familiar viruses, Lucia and Artio found a large, crumbling gap in their path. There was a small bridge-like panels that barely connected one end to another, but it seemed like it would only be good for one use. Though it didn't sound too troubling for the two to simply walk across, a group of viruses appeared on the land across the gap, already locking their target onto Lucia and Artio!

Deeper into the quickly more and more unexplored areas of the net, Lucia once more found herself standing in front of a large cracked valley before her. Stopping long enough to rub her head some, "Jeeze, this network is a wreck, wonder if this is the same one we keep finding, if it is it twists and tur-" Lucia cut herself off when she realized they were being watched, and it took but a moment to find the source, a group of sinister viruses across the way.
She couldn't help but take a grin as navi burst into flames as sign she readily accepted the challenge, "Oh goodie." It took but a moment for the flame to overtake the navi completely and leave her within its faint bubble like shell. Always mindful of her situation, she saw a need to change it, and quickly knelt to the ground, pressing hand flat against the panels. For a moment she brushed the panel before lifting hand towards the viruses across the way. Reason would quickly become apparent as beneath the viral group the panels begun to take on a sudden shine, as that usually fragile terrain started to harden, mending cracks as with the glow fading the new fortified panels took on a metalic shine.
With that task done navi stayed down on one knee while quickly reaching for her quiver. Bow was spawned in a sudden, near instant blaze of glory as the arrow navi was seeking started to materialize between her gripping fingers. Drawing that smooth, orb tipped arrow from her quiver she was quick to notch it and bring it to full draw. That small orb tip starting to crackle with the confined energy within as she set her sights upon her target only to let the bolt fly, sending it across the way towards a particular floating virus.
Navi wasn't about to let up on her sudden assault as new arrow was drawn and new target found. The only hesitation came after arrow had been pulled back fully, to give that previously normal arrow a chance to start drawing in flames from her wrists, even hair seemed to flicker and pull towards the quickly empowering arrow. Only to finally be loosed with surprising speed that left bright streak in the air as it sailed towards its hard-headed target.
Her attacks might have continued, but just after her second arrow was fired, Artio seemed to take his own actions, quickly stepping between Lucia and the line of enemies before them, blocking her view from her prone position. Howling out loudly enough to cause the very sky to darken before bolt of lightning crashed down upon the large wolf. Crackling light and energy quickly started to change and form itself around the beast, wrapping it in layer after layer of armored defense. Once the light faded and skies cleared once more, the now war-armored mount stood before its navi. Ready to protect her from any direct assaults that might come, ready to meet them head on.
Lucia had been caught by surprise at the sudden action, and for a brief moment watched on in shock, awe, perhaps a bit of anger and sudden urge to pounce the beast in a loving hug for coming to her defense without call. Still all thoughts quickly faded as the realization of battle returned, and rather than move away, navi took the opportunity to try a tactic she'd never used before. "Master! I want to try that bomb thingy! I bet it'd be a real blast!"
Vincent could only groan faintly at the horrible pun as he drew the chip in question and slots it in to send the data into the network. Watching on through holo-screen as a sudden beam of light struck down from the sky upon the virus' side of the field, leaving the large, ticking device upon the field. Upon its front was bolded counter, as it quickly ticked from 3, to 2.

Despite the strange environment, Lucia took advantage of the small space the viruses occupied by placing metal terrains over their area. The navi then proceeded to fire a single, charged arrow at the viruses, but it was only half effective as only two viruses was effectively deleted.
The viruses began their counter attack, beginning with the Fishys who charged face-forward towards Lucia at max speed. The first had crashed through the barrier as if it was nothing, wounding the navi, but the second was a bit sloppy on its aim and overshots its speedy tackle. Lucia, having grown accustom to her barrier protecting her from assaults, was quite surprised and thrown back, literally, as the Fishy virus slammed through the bubble and sent her tumbling back a few feet from the sudden impact. Scowling as she slowly rises back to her feet and as she flicks some flaming hair from her face. Her mood seemed to match the sudden burst of fire that overtook her once more. Resealing her within that safeguard again, just in time to see Artio get struck by a beam that made him snarl out in pain. " Arty!"
"I'm fine!" the beast responded as it gripped its claws into the panels and glared across the gap. Still Lucia moved closer and gave the beast a sudden fiery hug, enveloping her Support Program in soothing flames to quickly mend the damage done to him. "Stay safer, these are fighting dirty.."
Drawing back navi quickly drew her insectoid looking arrow from her quiver and set her sights upon the last remaining hardhead. Drawing the arrow back fully before finally letting it buzz through the air across the gap.
Though she was far from finished, even while bow string was still quivering from the first arrow, two more were quickly notched into place and pulled back. Tilting the bow sideways she let the twin spike bolts fly, hoping to strike down both those floating viruses in one go.
Finally bow was tossed away to vanish in a flash of flames as hand slapped down against the panels, and despite her size, the panels seemed to shudder and wave slightly as if she'd just touched into water. Sending a quiver through the nearby panels before they'd seem to fold upwards, though a closer look would make it apparent that instead walls seemed to be rising up around the navi. Sealing her within a large covered box that suddenly started to lift upwards as 4 slender poles took the navi and the new skybox higher and higher, offering perhaps a brittle defense from her enemies.
Artio wasn't about to stand down either as strong front paws dragged into the panel beneath him, sending sparks flying as they began to glow. The beast simply seemed to stand there, his gaze locked across the way upon the viruses, seeming to be waiting for any to dare cross the gap again and come in range of his electrified strike radius.

After a quick recuperation, Lucia and Artio was back in action and launched a series of counterattack against the viruses. First firing the insectoid arrow, it maneuvered through the air like it had a mind of its own and pinned right into the Hardhead's mouth, instantly deleting the virus. The next attack, however was little less guided as only one of the Fishys were shot by the ivory arrow, causing the flying viruses to be agitated against Lucia.
They swooped across the gap once more to take a tackle against the archer navi, but Artio jumped in and swiped them both, deleting one while grievously wounding another. The lone Fishy was still fueled by rage and continued on, even with its damage, crushing through the barrier once more and hurting Lucia!
As if things really weren't going the way the navi wanted, the N.O. viruses began to charge up their lasers and opened fired. Lucia erected two sets of objects...But like hot knife through butter, it shot right pass the objects, destroying them both while one directly hit the navi...

Lucia couldn't help but let out a surprised squeak as her barrier was once again bowled through, but more so from the sudden fall as her new fortress was so easily and quickly destroyed. Scowling as she picks herself up off the ground and dusts off while slowly flames start to encircle the navi, resealing her within their safeguard once more.
Artio, seemed much more focused upon the viruses across the way, almost daring that Fishy to come across again to meet a sudden, electrified end at the hand of his vicious claws.
Once back in her safeguard once more Lucia glanced across the way before scowling darkly after the viruses there, clenching fists tightly as a roar of deep, dark flames burst from within. Letting out a huff the navi puffed up cheeks while staring down one of those little big headed viruses, only to let out an almost roared cry as right arm rose and she released a blistering ball of molten magma that scorched the air as it shoot across the divide towards the creature.
Second would be treated to the same as she turned her gaze upon it and thrust second burning ball of lava towards the twin. "Like I'd forget you!" she cried out as she watched those blazing fireballs sail over the gap towards their targets.
It was only after that Lucia blinked as she turned her attention back to the ticking device she'd set on the viral side of the field, her eyes widening as it clicked to 1. "Err... almost forgot that. It.. doesn't hurt me too does it? Crap!" Navi turned on her bare toes and started to run, hoping she could cover enough ground to take her out of the blast radius. "Arty! Move your butt, that thing's going to blow!"
Beast, who'd still be staring down virus perked his ears before snarling and kicking himself off to bolt after Lucia, perhaps just in time, as that ticking time bomb finally clicked down to 0.

Artio, seemed much more focused upon the viruses across the way, almost daring that Fishy to come across again to meet a sudden, electrified end at the hand of his vicious claws.
Once back in her safeguard once more Lucia glanced across the way before scowling darkly after the viruses there, clenching fists tightly as a roar of deep, dark flames burst from within. Letting out a huff the navi puffed up cheeks while staring down one of those little big headed viruses, only to let out an almost roared cry as right arm rose and she released a blistering ball of molten magma that scorched the air as it shoot across the divide towards the creature.
Second would be treated to the same as she turned her gaze upon it and thrust second burning ball of lava towards the twin. "Like I'd forget you!" she cried out as she watched those blazing fireballs sail over the gap towards their targets.
It was only after that Lucia blinked as she turned her attention back to the ticking device she'd set on the viral side of the field, her eyes widening as it clicked to 1. "Err... almost forgot that. It.. doesn't hurt me too does it? Crap!" Navi turned on her bare toes and started to run, hoping she could cover enough ground to take her out of the blast radius. "Arty! Move your butt, that thing's going to blow!"
Beast, who'd still be staring down virus perked his ears before snarling and kicking himself off to bolt after Lucia, perhaps just in time, as that ticking time bomb finally clicked down to 0.

Lucia assailed the N.O.s with LavaCannons and Artio attacked the remaining Fishy with a clawed lunge, but quite frankly that didn't make much difference in the end as the CountBomb hit zero and exploded, wiping out whatever they hadn't deleted.

Lucia couldn't help but rise and face the blast as the large explosion finally erupted and turned the battlefield into a scorched world. Such an odd experience to watch everything on the battlefield blanketed in flames in an instant. "Wonderful..." came a small whisper before she caught herself and finally started to cheer as she realized it meant she'd won. Skipping her way back over and across the narrow bridge to start collecting the spoils of her little war, humming a familiar yet perhaps forgotten tune.
Artio wasn't too far behind in starting to gather up the remains of the fallen foes for his own use. With rewards and spoils gathered Lucia threw her arms around her support program with a wide smile. "Alright! Let's keep going, I still have to find my ultimate weapon here, it's being stubborn and playing hide and seek!"
"No... I think that's enough for now Lucia, we're starting to enter areas that are a bit too much for you at the moment. Time to come home for a rest, I've some things I need to take care of."
"What no way! We came so far, why do I have to turn back now?!" Huffing and grumbling to herself, Lucia clung to her SP tightly before letting out a sigh and slipping away, letting the flames about her completely overtake her as she murmurs a quiet, "Yes Master..." before being concealed within and quickly shooting up into the sky above like a blazing fireball.
Artio being just behind as he roars out loudly before bolting into the sky in a flash of lightning.
