Tennisman quickly regained his composure after the rather unpleasant results of his last plan, using the ice at his feet to hit and launch a frozen panel at the hat navi. Though it didn't shatter in mid flight, it struck him square across the chest, freezing his arms in the process. As Tennisman moved in closer, the navi struggled, looking oddly comical as it swayed about, attempting to break the hold of the ice.
At the end of his advance, Tennisman hit another ball at it and the GaiaNavi behind it that transformed into a glowing, screaming head midflight, slamming through both. The hammer-wielder's iron carapace faded after the head struck, while the hat navi was knocked backward, firing off a fire chip that exploded forth in a flamethrower into the air that melted through its cracked bonds.
While the hat navi was recovering, the hammer navi slammed its hammer into the ground to send forth another shockwave, which Tennisman dodged, then lurched forward. Just as Tennisman summoned a tennis net to protect him, the juggernaut slammed its hammer into it, rendering it useless. Far from behind finished, though, it swung again. Though with less force than the first swing, it still hit Tennisman hard.
Shrugging it off, Tennisman directed his rage at the hat navi, sending a volley of attacks at it. Though the hat managed to dodge one ball, the rest hit it, sending it reeling once again.
All of this made it difficult to continue avoiding the sheet-covered navi, which dropped down next to Tennisman once again after recovering from its stun and blasted ice at him again. Though he managed to dodge the initial blast, the WeatherNavi continued blowing, catching him with a light hit and leaving more ice underneath him.
Ignored for several minutes, the flashbomb that had been left over from earlier exploded.

Tennisman wasn't too injured but the same could not be said for his support program. Deuce had taken heavy damage from the onslaught of attacks and was on the verge of being forced to jack-out. Tennisman could feel the frailty of his racket through the connection they shared, but refused to show weakness to his opponents. He loosened his grip on his racket, trying to give whatever comfort he could spare to his partner.
"SHIT! DUECE IS ABOUT TO GO OFFLINE!" Desmond shouted in the PET.
Tennisman was glad his operator's voice couldn't be heard by everyone.
Desmond was panicking, "THERE'S A BOMB! TAKE IT OUT BEFORE IT BLOWS!"
Trying not to reveal his intentions, Tennisman made a quick serve at the flashbomb before it could detonate.
"...This connection is quite the doubled-edged sword..." Deuce groaned and immediately began to shield and repair himself. It was a quick process, with the barrier forming over him in an instant while his strings tightened and reinforced themselves underneath. But Tennisman couldn't afford to stay still and wait for it to finish. He moved in close to the GaiaNaviEX, trying to take advantage of his speed. He estimated that he moved approximately twice as fast as his opponent, and while that wasn't entirely good enough to avoid being hit, he hoped it would help him with catching the attack.
He lowered his body, practically ducking as he dashed in and circled around his target to better position his strike. Desmond had stopped shouting by now, possibly realizing the severity of the situation his navi was in, and slotted in the chip Tennisman was counting on. Air currents shifted and spiralled around Deuce as he was brought out of critical condition and thrust back into the fray. Tennisman expected an incoming attack from the GaiaNaviEX. He had seen it strike repeatedly during the fight and had even endured a hit from its powerful hammer. He could gauge the punch it packed and he knew it wasn't as powerful as the attack that he was about to deliver.
The condensed and compacted air around his racket practically formed another barrier as he brought it back for a wide swing. Though he aimed to strike faster than his opponent, if the hammer was swung, Tennisman needed only to adjust the angle slightly to knock it off course; at least in theory.
He attacked with both hands tightly holding the handle of his racket. A torrent of winds churned aroung him as it cut through the air, gathering strength from the motion. In a final burst of strength, the speed of the swing picked up, practically creating its own tailwind. The slipstream that closely followed the attack formed a visibly turbulent wall of wind that exploded outwards in a wide arc. He exhaled sharply, never having expended so much in such a short period of time.

2 - PARRYING Windracket GaiaNaviEX into crevasse (100 damage + microburst + gust + wide attack) maybe hit the BigHatNavi

TennisMan ran around the GaiaNavi and it tried to swing its fist all over the place to hit the navi. It was only a worthless effort as it only hurt it self through the glitch and the Windracket blew it straight into the crevasse!

I did it.
Tennisman couldn't celebrate just yet. Though the first part of his plan had worked, the second part was still merely an idea floating in his mind. He needed to make it a reality.
"Lilbomb!" He snapped and immediately took up a serving stance before the chip had even materialized itself. The bomb took shape in the air just as Tennisman brought the racket down to smash it in after the GaiaNaviEX. The explosion rocked the narrow passageway and shook the walls. Tennisman hoped that it would be enough to cause a cave-in. Maybe then he wouldn't have to deal with that opponent for a while. He turned back to face the other two navis and called for another chip while he closed in on the BigHatNavi.
"Katana."
Tennisman had assumed the one with the hat was their leader and wanted to take care of him before dealing with the others. He closed the distance between them while Deuce took on a deadlier form. His face flattened and thinned out to become more blade-like. In an instant, he had shifted from a tennis racket to a sword with a slight curve. It cut through the air better than his racket form but Tennisman missed the resistance that it made. Deuce's katana body made it feel as if Tennisman was practically holding nothing at all. In any case, he dashed into extreme close quarters and attempted to parry the BigHatNavi's attack with the first swing of his sword before striking with the follow-up stab. The light weight of the weapon definitely increased his attack speed even further and allowed him to strike again within a fraction of a second of the first combination.

The bomb exploded, causing the crevasses to cave in like TennisMan planned to. However, having an ice panel underneath made it increasingly difficult when the bomb only hit to the side of the GaiaNavi, not causing a full cave in on the enemy. It was obvious that the Navi was already digging through the debris and rocks with all that he got, but it's going to take awhile before he does.
The BigHat threw another FlashBomb far away and slid out a giant cannon with his right hand, but TennisMan already approached the virus with his Katana. With a simple swing, the navi deflected the aim of the gun and gave a 3-hit slash in a blink of an eye.
While TennisMan was focused on fighting the BigHat, the Weather snuck up from behind and fired not one, but two quick element breaths on the navi and Deuce. While TennisMan suffered few damages, Deuce was saved by the barrier he casted not so long ago!

Tennisman tracked the Flashbomb as the BigHatNavi dropped it and immediately made it his top priority. As it rolled to a stop, Tennisman was already in the middle of his serve, ready to detonate it with another one of his tennis balls. Finishing his followthrough, he pressed his hand to the ground and initiated a terrain change. He was tired of being subject to the WeatherNavi's wild breath attacks and needed something familiar. In an instant, the sea, the grass, the ice and whatever else was unfortunate enough to be caught in his range suddenly all dried up. Moisture and life seemed to drain away and it was all replaced by a field of sand. Tennisman's hand sank into the soft warmth of the dune and knew he had to work fast. The BigHatNavi was still leaking buckets of water and would soon overcome his customized terrain.
Tennisman made another quick serve at his target before Desmond came through, slotting in another Windracket for his navi. Tennisman weaved the racket through the air once, creating a small cyclone before swinging it fiercely at the BigHatNavi. A wave of sand and mud blasted up in response to the attack and fell back down just as quickly.
But he wasn't through yet. Tennisman raised his hand and called for two more chips, "TwinFang and HiCannon."
His arm dropped back down, transformed, having been replaced with a TwinFang gun. He aimed the barrel of his augmented missile launcher and sent two sharp bolts straight towards his two opponents, though he was primarily concentrating on only one of them. Taking the time to maneuver to a better position and to avoid being taken by surprise again, Tennisman fired his second round. The powerful HiCannon was shot at the BigHatNavi in Tennisman's attempt to finish him quickly before he could fight back.
"Yo Guard up." Desmond said and slotted in the chip, "Deuce is still in bad shape and you're not so great yourself, man.
It was true. Tennisman ached but he could still ignore it at this point. He just needed to hold out for a little longer. Around Deuce's frame, the Guard chip enhanced his defences in the form of a golden glow.

Instantly, the array of panels everywhere was swallowed up by the sands, making the entire battle leaning towards TennisMan. Alone with the BigHat, the navi could focus entirely onto the enemy without worrying about the other two! The virus also noticed the situation and began throwing, not one, but two bombs at the same time!
That didn't stop TennisMan from going all out on the navi with attacks after attacks. Soon, the BigHat couldn't take it anymore and commenced the EJO immediately! TennisMan sprouted a Guard to protect him from any further damages, but it was a nigh effort when the WeatherNavi dropped down from the behind and blew a icy breath. Thankfully, the damage wasn't too severe and split between the two.

"Well, that's one down." Deuce remarked at the BigHatNavi's demise, practically ignoring the Weathernavi as it attacked.
"Deuce, Overwrap." Tennisman ordered and immediately pounded his fist into the frozen ground.
The impact cracked the ice despite it not being a particularly hard punch. The fissures spread to the edge of the sand and out towards where the GaiaNaviEX was still buried. Grass sprouted from between the cracks and spread over the fragmented terrain, replacing the mismatched field with uniform greenery. Deuce busied himself with more repair programs as Tennisman pushed off the ground and lunged at the Weathernavi with a grasping hand.
"Firehit." He said.
The effect was almost instantaneous as fire burst from his tightly clenched fist in an intense bloom of embers. The grass below his arm flared up and burned away, spreading around Tennisman in a small condensed circle. Rather than continuing his assault, he retracted his hand and pulled back, running to the GaiaNaviEX instead.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Desmond exclaimed, "YOU HAD HIM!"
Passing a glance back to the Weathernavi, he noticed the bombs he had left behind in his haste to reach the crevasse.
"AquaNeedle." He said.
"YO! Come on! What??" Desmond groaned, desperate for an explanation. But his protests were short lived as he relented his concerns and slotted in the desired chip.
Tennisman turned completely, switching to a backwards running style. He swiped his hand at his three targets, summoning a cluster of large spires that dropped from the sky. They quickly descended on the two bombs and the Weathernavi, landing simultaneously. Tennisman then turned again to resume his charge, hoping he would make it in time.
"Man, this'd better be GOOD..." warned his operator.
"It usually is." Deuce answered.
As he reached the point where he had left his bulky opponent, he requested another chip and revealed his plan.
"HeatBreath." He said.
"So that's what you wanted to do..." Deuce added in a sly tone, "How unexpectedly cruel of you, Tennisman."
"Someone want to fill me in?" Desmond asked.
"No time. Chip now. Answers later." Deuce rushed.
"FINE." Desmond barked as he angrily slotted in the HeatBreath.
Smoke escaped from Tennisman's lips as the chip took effect. He inhaled sharply, letting the air warm up to blazing temperatures inside of him. When the heat was almost too much for him to bear, he raised his posture upright before snapping his head forwards and exhaling with all his might. His breath ignited as it re-entered the space in front of him. Panels under the rubble grew white hot and quickly melted under the flames into a bubbling red mess.
"Quake." Tennisman said and raised his hands up in preparation to receive the chip.
The small grey ball formed in Tennisman's hands as he readied his attack. In one swift movement, he slammed the bomb downwards, letting it transform into a massive weight in his hands. It crashed over the pool of magma and splashed some lava along the walls of what was left of the crevasse, but Tennisman wasn't done yet. As it struck the ground, he jumped up and leaned down on the weight, trying to drown his opponent in the molten pool.
"Brutal!" commented Desmond.

The terrain took another turn as it shifted into a bright greenery, only to be a fuel source for TennisMan's firehit. The punch was a hit and forced the WeatherNavi to hide once more. The Flashbomb was no more a threat as the needles skewered each of them into submission and the navi reached the Crevasse.
The sound of digging and scrambling was getting louder and louder as the GaiaNavi was drilling through the cave in. TennisMan prepared for the moment when it was freed, but didn't suspect a shockwave that exploded the rocks away, hitting the navi's guard and the SP's barrier alike. Despite being hit by an sudden attack, TennisMan continued his attack with the Heatbreath, which only nicked the navi's stone hard body but created a deadly lava underneath. The navi was attacked once more with the Quake, trying to push the navi into the lava and burn it away. At first, the attack manage to drown the navi into the lava, but, TennisMan couldn't withhold the pure, raw power of the Gaia and got blown away by its sheer force

Tennisman slid backwards, his shoes and one of his hands dragging along the ground as he did. A quick transfer of data flowed from his fingertips into the ground, creating another tennis net between himself and the GaiaNaviEX. He continued to move back even further from the net until he reached where the baseline would have been and climbed to his feet. Without another word, Tennisman followed up with his Ace Serve, smashing four tennis balls into his opponent.
"I don't think we're wearing him down adequately enough." Deuce mused, "He just pushed his way out of a lava pool with a Quake in his way. I have no plans right now, do you?"
Tennisman shook his head but knew he didn't want his opponent to leave the confines of the fiery terrain.
"Ringlog!" Tennisman called.
With a push of his hand, two massive logs materialized onto the plane and crashed into the ground already rolling towards the hammer wielding navi. They weren't that powerful but he was running out of options. He knew there was still one Windracket in the folder but he couldn't waste it without having the proper tactics to back it up. Beyond that, the rest of his chips seemed inappropriate for the situation.
"Boomerang." Tennisman requested next and moved outwards, trying to keep an open eye on his surroundings.
"You cannot be seriously considering trying to hit the both of them with that thing." Deuce said as the chip data welled in his face.
Tennisman pulled back and tried to track the practically infinite trajectories that would hit the WeatherNavi as it descended and still travel back to the GaiaNavi. He traced invisible curved paths along the panels and waited for his opponent to fall back down from its hiding spot.
"Yeah and if that doesn't work, you can just bash the ghost guy until he gives." Desmond joked.
Tennisman looked at Deuce's fluctuating barrier and considered it.

As soon as TennisMan treated his heavy wounds and raised a suitable defense, he began firing everything that he got to the GaiaNavi. It first tried to swing its fist around to hit the attacking navi, not even minding the lava underneath, but none of them made a hit and the navi was able to get all of his attacks hit.
The navi's suspicion of the Weather navi dropping down was correct as the Boomerang hit both the targets in a single swoop. The Weather retaliated at once by letting out a wooden breath, breaking the shield and planting few grasses underneath TennisMan. The Gaianavi also attacked with all that he got with a single shockwave, which the damage was lessened by Deuce's helpful ability.

As he reeled back from the WeatherNavi's wood breath, Tennisman found himself in perfect position to launch his counterattack. He never expected this opportunity to present itself, but he didn't have the luxury to truly appreciate such coincidence. Instead, he quickly pulled his arm back in preparation to receive a chip whose name had not even escaped his lips yet.
"Yo-yo!" He ordered and immediately threw out his hand.
The battlechip took form, expanding from a small speck of data. It inflated near-instantaneously to an enormous bladed wheel that threatened to slash through both of his opponents. The saw buzzed as it soared through the air and reached its limit over the lava panels. Spinning in place for a moment with a deadly grinding and slashing cycle, it quickly retracted with a forceful tug from Tennisman's arm. In his other hand, Deuce had taken to extending his barrier up Tennisman's arm and over his body. The protective field was thin and barely visible over his teal and white uniform, but it could still be felt. He held Deuce in front of him and crouched, taking pride in his ability to defend against incoming attacks. As long as he kept his eye on the two Navis, he felt as if he could repel anything they threw at him. Deuce begain to repair himself as Tennisman touched the ground with one hand.
"SAND!" Desmond shouted.
"Grass." corrected Deuce.
The tiny patch of grass under Tennisman's feet extended outwards and covered the deadly lava pool with some minor resistance. Desmond cursed into the PET but slotted in the chip he knew his navi needed. Starting with a puff of spores around his feet, every single blade of grass suddenly and simultaneously sprayed a corrosive, hallucinogenic mist into the air. Tennisman tried not to breathe in despite knowing it wouldn't affect him. The smell was still very hard to describe and stung his eyes to an extent. Its work done, Tennisman called for more chips.
"Flameline and MarkCannon." He said.
However, instead of a towering pillar of flames, a Bandacoon appeared at his heels. It looked up at him affectionately and sniffed the air. Its face seemed to scrunch from the lingering smell of the spice but it loyally stayed at his side, waiting for a command.
"Desmond..." Tennisman growled.
"My bad." His operator replied, clearly unabashed by his blatant greed.
Tennisman pointed his finger at the GaiaNaviEX, prompting his viral companion to dart after its target in search of treasures. Tennisman had other plans and pressed and open palm and closed fist into the ground. Twin streams of battlechip data poured into the floor and erupted in the form of fiery twisters. One scorched a path through the grass, heading staright for the Weathernavi. The other blazed a slow trail chasing after the Bandacoon as it scurried towards the hammer navi. The Bandacoon was fast for its size but the Flameline picked up speed as it cut through the greenery, feeding on it. The thieving pseudovirus practically shot through the GaiaNaviEX in a lightning lunge as the fire reached its climax and exploded behind it. It then circled around back the empty, burned panels and hurried back to Tennisman.
"Why'd you want a MarkCannon?" Desmond asked.
Though Tennisman didn't move or reply, he activated the chip data. Before transforming into a modified cannon, his arm pointed to a random spot in the sky. It locked itself into that specific position and fired.
"Impressive." Deuce commented.

When TennisMan launched his Yo-yo at the perfectly aligned navis, the GaiaNavi realized what he was doing and started to move towards TennisMan and shot another shockwave at the navi, along with the Weather and its elemental breath. TennisMan's precaution worked like a charm when the shockwave was bounced off by his defensive position and the barrier shrugged off the breath.
Quickly, the navi attacked with everything he had. The Bandicoot was able to snatch a chip data before it was obliterated by TennisMan's onslaught. Weather was able to evade a few attacks and fired another shot of attack, but it met again with the navi's barrier!

"Not many chips left," Desmond noted, "Slotting them all in."
Tennisman nodded and charged the Weathernavi.
"Moonblade and Windracket." Desmond said, slotting in the first two.
As Tennisman ran, a small black dagger appeared in his right hand. At the same time, a whirlwind started to build up around Deuce with help from the Windracket. The Moonblade strike came first, forcing Tennisman to spin in a wide circle with a quick slash. It was followed closesly by the Windracket that blasted away everything within that same range. There was no sand to aid the attack power but Tennisman had chained together the two attacks and valued that extra speed over the raw power. He stopped his spin and tracked the

Tennisman raised his arm and took aim at the WeatherNavi. From the tip of his buster, a long jet of flame chased his target. As the flames died down, Tennisman added two more quick fireballs to the queue of attacks. When he was done, the air above his gun was hazy from the raw heat from his weapon.

Everything was out of control when TennisMan unleashed all the chips he had left. This left the sole WeatherNavi to become desperate and attack with everything that he had, which was a success as all three of his attacks was a hit. However, he was only holding back the inevitable as the navi was utterly destroyed by the constant attack!

Tennisman fell backwards and sat down after his onslaught of attacks, breathing deeply as he did. The air around him smelled of like some kind of frozen forest and his uniform was covered with ice and leaves. He had won but was once again completely spent.
"You okay?" Desmond asked.
"No." Deuce replied bluntly.
Tennisman looked at himself and felt weak. How much further would he need to go to find what he was looking for.
"I might step out for some stuff later." Desmond said, "Do you think you can handle fighting without me for a while?"
His navi gave some thought to his response and said, "It will depend on the situation."
"Yeah, yeah..." Desmond added.
Deuce interrupted with an unexpected point, "Did we figure out what those strange viral navis were doing here?"
Tennisman and Desmond remained silent.
"Fantastic," groaned Deuce, "All that fighting and nothing to show for it."
"We got a chip." Desmond noted.
Tennisman got up and dusted himself off and continued along his way, trying to put this past him.

TennisMan traveled further into the uncharted Netopian net, hoping to reach what goal he had in mind. He came across a shiny Blue MD, hovering by it self, just waiting to be picked up by TennisMan. Of course, the navi got closer to the BMD, but triggered what looked to a trap! In a flash, TennisMan and Deuce was literally surrounded by lethal viruses in every way possible with the Mystery Data right by him! Fortunately, there was a slight gap in their numbers to the south, but bombs were all around!

"Is that... MYSTERY DATA?" Desmond pointed out gleefully.
"It is blue." Tennisman noted, "I have never seen one of these."
"GO GET IT! GO GET IT NOW!" Shouted Desmond.
As Tennisman walked towards it, he reached out to access but a familiar voice called out, "Trap."
Tennisman's hand immediately recoiled back and he turned to his racket.
"What? Do I really need to explain myself?" Deuce asked, "When was the last time you saw an unguarded mystery data with no strings attached?"
Frightening images of his past encounters came to mind. Deuce was right, all his mystery data encounters were earned after terrible battles.
"There's a first time for everything! GET IT!" urged Desmond.
Given the rare opportunity, Tennisman was willing to take the risk and extended his hand, touching the blue crystal. Then, as if on cue, the ground rumbled and viruses spawned everywhere.
"My god! Who could have seen THAT coming!" Deuce said sarcastically.
"Shit!" Desmond snapped, "GET OUT!"
"We are surrounded." Tennisman stated as he checked his would-be escape route. BombBoys were circling them, pushing large boxes with lit fuses.
"FINE! Court Change and Spice everyone!" Suggested Desmond.
Tennisman crouched to the ground and touched the floor with one hand. With his other hand, he tapped his racket to the mystery data.
"Overwrap." Tennisman ordered and initiated his own signature program.
Deuce, sensing an inevitable argument in which he would eventually lose anyways, complied and produced a simple barrier around the data. Tennisman worked equally hard forcing the ground to change around him. Grass sprouted outwards but he was concerned about its reach. He pushed the limits of his ability until it spread beyond the explosive boxes closing in on him, reaching feet that drudged against the ground to move them forward. Though he couldn't see how far his tennis court had progressed, he stopped abrupty and worked Deuce under the data.
"Wait, what are you-" the racket uttered before Tennisman swung his arm up, trying to launch it straight up and out of range of his Spice.
A wave of purple and yellow clouds poured outwards from under Tennisman's feet to the edge of his grassy court. Through the haze of the toxic powder, Tennisman scanned the other viruses that had ambushed him. There were some N.O.s and two separate groups of Brushmen and what looked to be Bashers in the distance.
None of them looked normal.

TennisMan's grass spread all over the place, catching the surrounding BombBoys. The spice was deployed, which caused a hefty damage on the virus group and caused some to go in a haze. However, the only thing these viruses knew was to push the bombs, so there wasn't too much change in their behaviors...or was there? The Bashers prepared their cannons and the BrushMans went around to paint the areas around the grasses with fiery lava!

His Spice had worked as he had planned, though his enemies were merely damaged and confused. His attack had fallen short of deleting them but he aimed to rectify that soon.
"V-Gun." Tennisman said, aiming his buster at the BombBoys ahead of him.
"Can't," Desmond said, "Traded it out for the hammer we just got."
Tennisman almost lost his cool demeanor for a moment, letting his eye twitch once.
"Send whatever." Deuce answered in Tennisman's stead.
Desmond didn't seem to notice his navi's frustration and simply answered, "Boomerang coming up."
Tennisman pounded the ground to set up a tennis net facing south, letting loose some of his anger in a productive manner. For some reason, his net looked a little more vicious than usual with spiked poles and a metallic razor mesh. Deuce avoided taunting him further and busied himself by repairing some of his damage from the last battle. Tennisman noted that the N.O.s were a constant threat that he couldn't simply ignore, but that didn't change the fact that he was still surrounded. Letting the Boomer data flow into his racket, he pulled it back and imagined the trajectory it would take. He unleashed his empty serve in a wide arc around him ejecting the battlechip data from the racket's head. The green energy spun around the BombBoys, slashing up their ranks as Tennisman moved in preparation to take out the rest of the troupe.
"Watch the N.O.s..." warned Deuce.
Tennisman nodded and moved behind the other cap-wearing bombers.
