It was chaotic, to say the least. The sound of gunfire and fighting erupted all across the convoy, navi fighting navi no matter where you looked. Poll landed before the rest of his group and dived straight into combat; he swung his huge fists one after the other, bashing on an unsuspecting Heelnavi. The close range meant that the Heelnavi was able to fire shots into Poll with impunity, but that didn't last too long before he was deleted.
The rest of Poll's group landed at about the point that the first Heelnavi dropped, keeping his buddies from turning their focus to Poll. Yul, coward as he was, pulled out a well-used mop and smacked one Heelnavi upside the jaw with it, then darted off towards Poll. The Heelnavi he attacked returned fire, spraying the area with shot after shot (and hitting a few of the boxes), but only a few of his wild sprays managed to hit the swabbie.
Meanwhile, Wria assailed the second navi atop the boxes with a flurry of kicks; her purple-clad foe tried to bob and weave his way out of the menagerie of attacks, but Wria's persistent assault bore fruit when a strong kick to the head sent him rolling straight off of the boxes in a crumpled heap. Wria jumped down after him.
Gamon's arrival was more brutal than the others; his lack of finesse outside of a kitchen landing him smack dab on top of the Heelnavi he was trying to land next to, damaging them both from the impact and sprawling them both across the floor. It was a small while before Gamon regained his bearings, luckily just before the Heelnavi he had collided with; upon noticing his waking foe, he pulled out a twin pair of spatulas and began to beat on him. The assault was, for the most part, effective, as even with Gamon's limited power he was keeping the Heelnavi pinned. This ended when the Heelnavi roughly headbutted Gamon, then hurled him off the edge of the convoy.
While all of this was taking place, several of the Heelnavis on the rightmost guard platform noticed the commotion and decided to open fire on the attackers; Poll took a few hits from their gunfire, but aside from that the rest of their shots either thudded into the boxes or ricocheted off of the convoy car itself. As their reward, one of Bugbeard (or Glock)'s stray shots missed the left guardpost and hit one of the heelnavis on the right one, causing them to fire off a small burst towards the ship in retort.
It was shortly after those scuffles had taken place that Machman and company descended upon the third car. Machman fired off a pair of massive shots at two of the Heelnavis before he even touched the car-- both of which collided with their intended targets, sending them sprawling-- and Aera continued the assault with her pistol.
Unfortunately, between the smoke and the momentum from her descent, however mitigated it was, she missed; the electric wire grabbed onto the platform next to the heelnavi she had targeted. Rather than the heelnavi being yanked upward, as Aera had intended, the heelnavi instead leapt into the air and grabbed onto the electric cord, sending Aera hurtling towards the convoy. Granted, the heelnavi regretted this a moment later, given that said wire was still live; but the damage was done. Aera collided hard with the convoy platform-- or she would have, were it not for her shield intervening-- and was then fired upon by the other heelnavi Machman had shot.
One, two three shots collided with the reinforced shield that protected her, but before the Heelnavi could fire off another, Vector intervened. The dagger he had thrown embedded itself squarely in the navi's gun arm, surprising the Heelnavi long enough for Vector's second and third strikes to finish him off.
In the meanwhile, Machman opens fire on one of the two remaining Heelnavis. The navi quickly tries to dive for cover as Machman blasts him with shot after shot after shot, but he is inevitably struck and pinned, letting Machman get in a couple more hits before he runs out of ammo. Machman and his decoys finally touch down on the car itself at this point, and, denied their original targets, Machman's decoys swarm the Heelnavi he had shot before, distracting it.
Machman himself tries to cut clear through the remaining Heelnavi that he landed near, but the Heelnavi is too spry; it quickly dodges out of the way, and the energy projectile goes hurtling towards the next car...
Machman does not miss twice, however, and his Superior Thrust Laser sends the Heelnavi flying clear off and away from the entire convoy at an angle. The poor bastard smacks headlong into the Strassavora's starboard side before falling down towards the drink. Finally, Aera takes a shot at the downed Heelnavi, dispelling one of the decoys in the process.
At about the same time that Machman and his group had begun their assault, so too had the last car been similarly assailed by the third and final team from Bugbeard's crew. Gratto had begun the attack by hurling his wrench at one of the Heelnavis while Quava dropped down behind him. When the Heelnavi tried to dodge the wrench, Quava whacked the surly thug over the head with his shovel, stopping him long enough for Gratto's wrench to smack him in the torso. Resart chose that moment to knock the Heelnavi that had been astride the rear car's boxes off of them, and he fell on top of the Heelnavi the other two had been attacking in a heap. Pratz chose that moment to kick a third Heelnavi onto the pile, prompting Quava to send them all hurtling over the edge with a well-aimed shovel smack.
Things seemed to be going well... at least, they had been until the rear guardpost started firing on the team. Gratto and Quava took the brunt of it (with Quava taking the largest amount of fire), but Pratz also took some heat and began to help the other two escape towards the crates.
Resart responded to the imminent crisis by firing on the guardpost from the corner of the car using his flintlock, but the trio above continued to spray fire down upon the now-retreating trio below them. More of the shots were missing than not now, what with Resart proving an ample distraction, but they would only need a couple more lucky hits...
As the trio neared the crate, seeming like they would be able to safely make it out of the guardpost's line of sight, the fourth Heelnavi that was stationed on the car stood up atop the crates and aimed for the trio. Rather than firing on them, however, he immediately whirled around and then dropped to the floor just in time to avoid a wide arc of energy passing through the space he had been inside a moment ago.
The guardpost Heelnavis were not so lucky; their attention had already been divided between Resart and the fleeing members of Bugbeard's crew, so they never saw the brilliant arc of Machman's SonicBoom coming. It deleted the one that had taken some of Resart's shots outright, and the other two on the platform took a hit that they would not shake off very easily...

Terrain
The cars are around 6 panels wide and 10 panels long each. Various boxes are stacked near the center of each car, each stack about 2-3 rockcubes high. The boxes are anchored via several ropes to the cars that they are on, and are the target of this assault. It takes one action to leap from one car to the next. Machman and company will start this turn by landing on the third car (including the lead car).
