Frankenstein's busting

"OKAY, I'M TIRED OF LOSING ALL THE TIME! EAT THIS! MY GREATEST TACTIC YET!"

His challenge accepted, DarkSpiritZero raised his arms in front of him, and formed two huge balls of dark energy, swirling with what felt pulsating madness. Even with Asymptote shaking the ground with each of his stomps, he could also feel the air vibrate from the gathering darkness. The energy slowly changed shape as it coalesced into large black disks, both pointed forward at Asymptote. As soon as Asymptote got his Guard1 up, however, the attack was complete and ready to launch.

"HERE IT IS! DOUBLE REFLECTOR ZERO!"

With all the stomping Asymptote was doing, and DarkSpritZero's show of force, it really appeared as if they were about to release some enormously powerful attacks or some other. Unfortunately, that didn't really happen, and they just ended up staring at each other with shields raised-- DarkSpiritZero having one more than his opponent-- looking like a couple of idiots. Asymptote threw out his taunt afterwards, causing DarkSpiritZero to also pound on the ground, but accompanied with some haughty laughter, not anger, as he had anticipated.

"WHAT... WHAT WAS THAT? TEACHER? WOW, THAT REALLY WAS PATHETIC! TAKE THIS! GUARD ATTACK, RELEASEEEEE!"

A bit of silence pervaded throughout the area, after all the yelling and stomping. "...? RELEASEEEEE!"

Another awkward pause.

"RELEEEEEAAAASSEEEE!"

Evidently, there wasn't really anything that was going to happen, as DarkSpiritZero looked frustrated at the black disks he was holding up. His cape billowed uselessly behind him as he threw down one of the disks at the ground. "WHAT THE HECK, THESE THINGS ARE USELESS!" he yelled, as the disk clattered on the ground, and disappeared shortly after.

He stood there like an idiot, Guard1 on his hand as he waited for an attack that never came. The Guard data corroding and dissipating from his system as his hand returned to normal, clenching and unclenching his fingers as he watched the navi throw away one of those guards away, nothing happening as he didn't realize the obvious. The newly appointed teacher would sigh out as the vortex of stupidity that was DarkSpiritZero thought he could get away with trying to "unleash" his guard chips.

MORON! He called out, he wanted the navi to better himself, to actually provide a challenge. But the navi seemed so incompetent, so block headed that he couldn't realize the idea that Guards were meant to take an attack and then counter attack. DO YOU NOT READ CHIPS?! DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF INFORMATION!? He continued, berating the navi immensely for his idiocy. GUARDS COUNTER ATTACKS! YOU CAN'T USE THEM ON THEIR OWN, THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING THAT WAY! He continued his berating, angry at how stupid the navi was at something so simple. BE IN SYNC WITH YOUR NETOP! OR DO YOU AND YOUR NETOP NOT HELP EACH OTHER?! Asymptote panted, fists shaking angrily at the idiot of a navi in front of him. He couldn't stand this sort of idiocy. Or lack of trust or even communication between navi and op. The navi staring with a mixture of hatred and pity for his opponent. EVEN IF I HAVE TO BEAT IT INTO YOU, I'LL MAKE YOU LEARN HOW TO ACTUALLY FIGHT. EVEN IF I HAVE TO CAVE YOUR SKULL IN AND GIVE YOU A BRAIN!

The massive navi would begin to summon his signature program into his system, a rumble of power could be felt collecting around him, a faint green color coalescing around him. Folding his arms across his nearly bare chest, a twinkle could be seen in his bloodshot, crimson red eyes. Pupils shrinking into little black dots as he roared out again like a feral animal. AS OF TODAY, YOU WILL BE MY PUPIL! AND YOU SHALL LEARN HOW TO ACTUALLY WIN A FIGHT, LIKE IT OR NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOT! He yelled out angrily, bracing himself as he stared down the dimwit in front of him. LESSON TWO: NEVER ANNOUNCE YOUR ATTACKS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY DOING! He screamed, the low pitch of his voice causing the area around him to quake. Stomping his feet, he rushed towards his self-made pupil. The ground quaking as if a stampede of large creatures rushed upon DarkSpiritZero, ground quaking loudly with every step he took towards the navi in front of him.

His arms glowing with a bright green color, fingers clenched tightly into fists, tightly enough a little trickle of blood could be seen dripping onto his fingers as he rushed the hopeless navi full on from the front. NOW...GRIT THOSE TEETH! He screamed, bobbing to the side at the last second he could, feet stomping full force onto the ground as he reared his arms back, and then with a swift movement, attempted a right hook into DarkSpiritZero's face with his left arm, knuckles aimed straight for the navi's face dead on for the middle, whilst his right attempted to make contact with the guard he had equipped. Asymptote would take a little bit of damage, probably to the tune of ten damage, but it was better than taking anything more than that.

Being lectured on his inability to read Battlechip descriptions didn't do wonders for DarkSpiritZero's wrath, as he rebutted loudly. "WHY DO I NEED TO READ? EVERY CHIP SHOULD JUST BE FOR ATTACK. AND YOU'RE NOT EVEN THAT STRONG, YOU HAVEN'T EVEN HIT ME YET, "TEACHER"! COME ON, "TEACHER"! HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT!" he taunted, laughing all the while. At this moment, Asymptote chose to do just that, charging directly in his direction. Unfortunately, during his rush to discipline his errant self-proclaimed pupil, he failed to notice a large crack in the middle of the road, which, with all of his stomping, caused it to cave in under the force of his weight.

Falling into the hole, it seemed like he would be a bit incapable of reaching DarkSpiritZero with his fists. It seemed like DarkSpiritZero himself wasn't expecting it either, as he seemed a bit stunned that Asymptote would just fall through the floor like he had just done. Of course, that didn't last for long, as he let out a loud cackle. "PFFF--HA-HAHAHA! YOU FELL INTO MY CAREFULLY LAID TRAP! FEEL THE WRATH OF MY NEXT ATTACK! JORDAN! SEND ME MY DARK CANNON!"

Reaching in front of him, he began to gather a mass of black energy once again, which began to solidify into a deep purple Cannon arm. However, shortly after its materialization, Asymptote saw the purple color wash away slightly, revealing it to not be a fabled DarkChip, but a simple green Cannon. "FIRE!" he yelled, firing it towards Asymptote. Fortunately, Asymptote's stumble had left his Guard shield slightly raised, and the attack was reflected back at DarkSpiritZero himself with a lightning-fast shockwave. The attack caused him to stumble backwards on his rear.

"OW! FRICK! WHAT THE HECK?! HAX! HAX! YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!!" Asymptote heard his opponent curse. He took the chance to follow it up with a buster shot of his own against DarkSpiritZero's shield. Fortunately, with Asymptote's earlier intimidation factor, however, the reflection did pretty much nil in terms of damage, taking out the defense without much incident.

Asymptote would grumble out loudly as he had fallen into such an obvious trap, granted, he didn't see it until the last second. Regardless, he grabbed the back of his head from the tumble, rubbing it slowly as he got himself righted back onto his feet, hearing the young asshole yell about something or other, his Guard certainly helped with dealing with things. Though he doesn't remember it being there with him, not that was complaining about it. Either way he had to climb out. Incredibly stoic about the whole thing.

Sorry about that Asymptote. I must have turned my head for a second and not noticed that cracked panel there. Joseph apologized as he began to go through their chips, wondering what to upload next. Not your fault...Blinded...by rage... Asymptote admitted, panting out as he began to jump at the top of the hole, probably a bit taller than he was as he grasped at what all he could on the sides of the hole to help him climb out of the hole, feet kicking in at the panel's insides to help grab him a foothold, grunting as he slowly climbed himself out of the broken panel, grunting as he readied himself mentally for whatever was to come next.

SUMMARY
1: Climb out of hole
----TURN SPLICE----
As Asymptote pulled himself out of the hole that he had found himself in, he found DarkSpiritZero waiting for him, with a twin-barreled buster arm readied. Judging from how it looked to pulse and radiate dark energy, it seemed rather intimidating, though from previous experience, one could probably tell that it was mostly just fluff. Regardless, the Navi himself was undeterred, cackling all the while as he managed to peek out of the hole. "FUFUFUFU, HAHAHAHA! GROVELING AT MY FEET, HACKER? FEEL MY JUSTICE! SUPER SHOTGUN MARK ONE!" he bellowed, firing the buster arm and blowing off a decent chunk from Asymptote's shoulder. (-50) In all of his mirth, however, the Navi was left rather unprotected, which could be a decent opening for Asymptote to mount a counteroffensive.

Grumbling as he got hit on the shoulder by the young bastard's shotgun blast, he could only stare him down coldly as he got to his feet. He stomped the ground in anger at him, a dark glare in his eyes as the wind kicked up behind him. Coward. COWARD. Asymptote began, the word hanging on his almost non-existent lips. Anger boiling up at his very core at the opponent in front of him. COWARDCOWARDCOWARD! LESSON THREE: LOOK YOUR OPPONENTS IN THE EYE AS YOU FIGHT THEM! He roared, arms shaking visibly in the anger he had so tried to swallow down, push down deep into his heart. But instead it consumed him from how crass. How stupid. HOW IMMENSELY INSUFFERABLE DarkSpiritZero was. The air crackling around Asymptote as he stomped the ground beneath his feet, swinging his arms around in fury. CAN YOU DO NOTHING RIGHT!? ARE YOU THIS STUPID WILLINGLY, OR DID YOUR OPERATOR PROGRAM THIS INTO YOU!? He roared again, the quakes of his feet growing even stronger, stamping the ground below him.

Joseph on the other hand was worried for his navi...no...he was worried what kind of damage his navi could do to his opponent at this rate. He was worried he'd delete him in the blind rage he had been filled with. Asymptote was normally nothing like this. Nothing like the navi that jumped up and down in anger at how a student (as self proclaimed as it was)...well, was. He'd always try to help them calmly. Joseph looked down at his PET and began to speak. Asymptote. He spoke, the navi seemingly not hearing his voice. Asymptote! He yelled, nothing seemingly not getting through to him. God damn it. GOD DAMN IT. GOD FUCKING DAMN IT ASYMPTOTE, LISTEN TO ME WHEN I AM TALKING TO YOU! Joseph roared out, getting up to his feet and smashing his hand on the wall behind him.
Asymptote snapped back to reality almost immediately, his netop's voice reverberating through his head, snapping to attention almost as if nothing had happened, DarkSpiritZero could probably hear it if he listened close enough. Irregardless. Joseph sighed as he picked up the closet chip to himself. A picture of a large yellow fist with...a strangely familiar navi behind it. Joseph slotted it in and murmured to his navi, so only he could hear it. Finish this battle. You get detention for flying off the handle like that afterwards. Got it Asymptote? Joseph said to his navi with bitter sounding words, a chill running down his spine. He knew better. He knew better than to anger Joseph. He would simply nod sheepishly in response.

The navi would sigh out, calming himself down...if only a little bit. He could already hear him laughing. Laughing stupidly as he would to Asymptote. Acting like he was so much better. And yet he continued to lose. Keep losing...hehehe...get smart kid. Asymptote said darkly, a twinkle in his eyes as he thrust his fists out in front of him, his fists letting out a minute amount of light around them, soon turning into large, yellow and grey hands. The yellow wrapping around the top of his hands and fingers, the undersides a muted light-grey color. Asymptote's bloodshot eyes would stare at the navi in front of him, pupils dilating as he brought his arms back. EAT THIS KID. AND IF THERE'S ONE THING YOU TAKE AWAY FROM THIS FIGHT, REMEMBER THE GOLDEN RULE! He began, before thrusting his fists out forwards again, acting like he was punching. But instead. He continued to punch and punch the air, faster and faster the fists would be hurled towards DarkSpiritZero.
The wind flying into the navi's face each and every time another would replace it's self in the air until...afterimages could be seen. The fists coming out faster than one could see as Asymptote began to stomp forwards and every time, the air in front of him would be replaced with another of his garish yellow and grey fists. Until finally Asymptote stopped in front of the navi. CLENCH THOSE TEETH! He roared, the fists stopping in the air for a few moments before Asymptote yelled out. EAT THIS! IMAGINARY NUMBER CRUNCHER! He roared before thrusting his fists forward at DarkSpiritZero's face, each and every fist following suit...but disappearing a fraction of a second later as the two real fists would fly through the air and, from either side of DarkSpiritZero, would attempt to find themselves embedded in his. Empty. Stupid. FACE.

"I AM LOOKING YOU IN THE EYES. THE EYES OF A LOOOOSEEEEER! HAHAHA! GET WRECKED, HACKER!" jeered DarkSpiritZero, in response to Asymptote's... rather spirited teachings. It seemed like nothing would get through to the black-and-brown-clad Navi that was currently laughing at him in the middle of the ACDC downtown network. "I DON'T NEED ANY OF YOUR STUPID RULES! I'LL SHOW YOU THE REAL POWER OF MY DEEP DARK ENERGY!" he continued. He then lowered his stance into a squat, and began to yell incomprehensibly loudly, as if his volume from before was only a fraction of its actual maximum. "UUUUUWOOHHHHHH!!" From his left arm, a viscous black substance began to flood outwards, then refluxing again into his hand, until his left side was nothing but the black substance. Where his hand used to be, a sharp set of jet-black claws began to grow rapidly, until the tips of the claws reached his ankles.

"BLACK... SPIRIT... BUUUURST!" he yelled, ending the transformation. It seemed like the claws were a bit too big for him, though, as his stance clearly showed his centre of gravity being carried off. At this point, Asymptote had closed in the distance between them, and launched his fists forward at DarkSpiritZero's face. Fortunately for DarkSpiritZero, his extremely lopsided stance unintentionally caused him to veer away from Asymptote's fists, such that the enraged Navi's fists only hit empty space. The chance didn't go unnoticed by DarkSpiritZero, who lugged his heavy claws, and swung it in Asymptote's direction.

"TAAAAAKE THIIIIS! RRRRAAAAGE CLLLLAAAAWS!"

... Unfortunately, his choice to have gone for form over function seemed to backfire, as the attack went wide. "FFFFFFRICK! THIS... THING'S... HEAVY! DO-OVER!"

He stared the navi down as he fell over, managing to miss both of his punches towards the navi's face, grumbling as he made weapons far too big for himself to even properly wield. The navi almost...felt pity. This was a painful fight. Not exactly physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. He couldn't handle much more of the navi's bumbling and idiocy. He almost wanted to offer the thick-headed kid a tie between them and leave things as they are...no. He needed to learn the hard way.

Pathetic. Asymptote spoke, looking down at the navi as he began to walk forwards, towering over the navi he had been fighting with as he clenched his fingers tightly. Lesson Four: No do-overs in Battle. You make your bed. You lie in it. He growled almost angrily, a deep glare in his eyes. Lesson Five: Make weapons you can actually USE. Bigger. Not always better. He commented, kicking at the claws that DarkSpiritZero made, Joseph just watching for the moment. Asymptote had rage burning down in his heart, but...it was calm...collected anger. A cold rage that he was resisting the urge to ignite again.

And with that, Asymptote would immediately jump at DarkSpirtZero's body, a roar of anger calling out as loud as he could, the roar echoing out into the distance as Asymptote did his best to try and restrain the navi. Large GutPunch enhanced hands grappling at his arms almost immediately as he would try to also sweep his opponent's feet to try and cause him to be unable to mount a counter offense against him. Trying to get the offending navi to the ground and place a knee against his body to pin him so he could not escape as easily, pressing down as hard as he could.

This facade as gone on for far too long. Ge growled at DarkSpiritZero, raising his hands off his arms and clenching his fingers into large fists. TAKE YOUR LOSS LIKE A MAN! He yelled out angrilly at the navi, arms shooting out forwards at high speed. Air curling around the mammoth sized navi, his arms curving out under towards his chin and side of the face, the navi wishing to end this fight as soon as possible, sweat dripping from his body in cascades of droplets and splatters onto the floor below.

"WAIT, WAIT, HOLD ON, GIVE ME A SEC," yelled out DarkSpiritZero, as Asymptote restrained him to the ground, and started wailing on him with his enormous GutPunch-imbued fists. Even with how loud he had previously been, even DarkSpiritZero's voice couldn't withstand the repeated pummeling, and eventually it began to peter out. "OW! OW! OKAY, I GIVE, I GI--" However, it was a little too late, as the last punch sent the Navi's head crashing into the ground. Asymptote was also sent careening into the hole, but before he reached the bottom, he saw the brief flash of a jackout sequence, though not of the voluntary kind. When he would reach the bottom of the hole, he would discover that the Navi had dropped a data packet filled with some zenny. There wasn't any indication that he had learned anything from him either, though perhaps it was his style of "teaching".

Grunting out as he smashed face first into the ground below him, having smashed open a hole under his opponent, he barely having the time to prevent himself from hitting it so far. Sweat pouring from his body in droves, grunting as he barely had the strength to reach out and grab at the data packet that DarkSpiritZero dropped upon his loss. He couldn't even lift his body upwards, falling back to the ground with a thud, gasping and panting before jacking himself out of the network.

Outside of the battlefield's proximity, a shadowy figure could be seen watching from a distance, a packet of data slowly coming into the palm of their hand, in the form of a corrupted, glitchy navi core. First victory in a navi vs navi setting...his netop also seems to be able to control him, albeit poorly. Mistress chose the right navi for her "upgrade" package. That principal was also nice enough to shove him into our hands. We'll have to keep an eye on him. Until next time, Experiment #1, keep up your work~
