The Dark Knight Returns Once More!

"By the gods..." Runeknight whispered as he gazed upon the hordes of viruses moving toward him.

There had to be at least a score of viruses, each moving resolutely toward the lone Navi. They were of multiple varieties, drawn from all across the ACDC Netspace. Each virus held a strange intensity within their eyes, like predators sensing their prey was close. They quickened their pace as they neared, their lines spreading out as the more agile viruses demonstrated their speed.

"They must have sensed your battle with with Uni." Zan remarked. "Perhaps they seek to scavenge on some wounded Navi or viral remains."

"Heh," Runeknight chuckled mirthlessly. "These fiends shall find naught, but the tip of my spear."

"You're going to fight them?"

"We have no choice, Sire. Our patrol has not ended and this horde stands within our path. We must move onward. Besides, who knows what evils a force as large as this could cause in ACDC."

"Please, be my guest. I am sending you a few wide area BattleChips in an effort to thin their numbers and lessen the advantage."

"Aye Sire. I thank you. I would not be here if not for your mystic arsenal."

Zan smiled to himself as he sorted through his case of BattleChips. At the time, he had wondered if imputing the rest of Runeknight's Medieval persona had been a good idea, but the Navi seemed no worse for wear. In fact, the references to magic and enchantments concerning BattleChips and SigAttks was fairly charming and added to the Navi's aura of nobility. The NetOp pulled four BattleChips from his case and slotted them, one at a time, into the PET. With any luck, Runeknight could blast through this horde with little effort.

The knightly Navi could feel the BattleChip energy surging through his armored frame. He glared through his visor at the approaching horde. The viruses were but twenty yards away and closing fast. They knew he was there and were intent on finding their prey. Runeknight smiled as his spear materialized in a flash of cobalt light. If they wanted a battle, he would give them one.

Runeknight's spear began to glow with a light blue aura. The light was fluid, running along the shaft of the spear as a river would transverse its bed. The light was strong, but not strong enough. Runeknight took the spear in both hands and began to twirl the weapon end over end. The spinning shaft emitted a loud humming sound and the blue aura grew brighter. He continued to spin the spear as he watched the nearest viruses approach. A trio of spikeys were only a few yards away now and Runeknight could see the light of flames sparking between their teeth. The Navi took aim, steadying his arms as he took a few steps forward and suddenly pivoted to his left. He completed his spin, a full three sixty with the spear held out stiff and horizontal. The blue aura seemed to separate from the shaft as he spun, tumbling like a wave toward the oncoming spikeys. Runeknight followed right behind.

A second BattleChip was running through his body and centered itself within his spear. Crimson flames sprouted along the jet black shaft and soon engulfed the entirety of the spear. Runeknight held the weapon aloft in one hand, as one would hold a javelin, and slowed his charge. A small group of viruses was fluttering over the battlefield, Seedbats with small brown bodies and leafy green wings. Runeknight took aim, judging the pattern of the bats flight in order to hit as many as possible with his single spear. He hurled the weapon through the air, a trail of flames running from his outstretched hand toward the fluttering viruses. The flames grew hotter as they approached the viruses, threatening to sear their wings without even touching them.

Runeknight pivoted and scanned the battlefield. The viral horde was all around him now. There was no chance to escape except by slaughtering enough of them to grant him free passage. The Navi spotted some hopping figures to his left and knew them immediately for what they were. The electrical rabbits were not powerful, but the charges within them could stun a Navi and give their allies an advantage in battle. Runeknight did not want to allow the viral horde any more advantages than he could help. He raised his arm, knowing that Zan had come to the same conclusion, and felt a resistance between his fingers. A boomerang had materialized in his grasp, the black lacquered wood capped at each end with steel bands to give the projectile more weight. The Navi took aim, hoping to hook the boomerang to strike a large group of the viruses. He cocked back his arm and let fly, hurling the weapon through the air toward the hopping bunnys.

Knowing that the viruses would soon react to his offense, Runeknight switched up his game plan. He raised his arm, willing the final BattleChip to form. The blackened steel covering his arm twitched and flowed like molten metal. It quickly formed into a black and cobalt shield that stretched the length of his torso. He hefted the shield, protecting his body from any counterattacks from the horde of viruses.

Runeknight: 65
Runeknight lay deathly still within a smoking crater. His armor was fractured in several places and his cape was shredded. He had been ready to defend himself from the viral onslaught, but the mass of viruses had been too much. Their attacks had overpowered the knightly Navi and left him broken on the ground. It had been an assault such as he had never encountered before and the armored Navi was stunned by the ferocity of the viruses.

"Runeknight!" Zan shouted his name, but the Navi could barely hear him. "Runeknight! Are you alright? Damn it! Answer me!"

"Si..." Runeknight's voice was weak. "Sire? What...What happened?"

"Hell if I know. The damn viruses attacked en-mass and bowled you over. There was nothing that could be done to avoid it."

"I shall...I shall be more vigilant."

The battered Navi struggled to rise to his feet. At first his knees buckled, unwilling to hold his weight after such punishment, but he willed himself to stand. Runeknight was hunched over, one hand clutching a wound to his stomach while the other gripped the Rune Spear tightly to prevent himself from falling over. He had never seen such might from simple viruses. It was incredible and a little frightening. However, his determination was steeled. He knew more than ever that he had to stop these rampaging viruses before they could reach a more populated area of the Net.

"Sire," Runeknight called to Zan. "We cannot allow these beasts to escape. I need more power if I am to destroy them all."

"Alright, three more BattleChips coming your way."

Runeknight could already feel the familiar surge of energy running through his body. He felt his strength renew and he loosened his grip upon his spear. He stood up straight, peering down at the mass of viruses that gathered before him. They were hungry for his blood, starved for the taste of a lone Navi. They were powerful, but he would force them to fight hard for their meal.

A sphere of crimson energy flared to light in Runeknight's open palm. A ball of fire, no bigger than his closed fist, rotated slowly half an inch from his armored hand. He held the small blaze aloft, breathing life into it as one would stoke a campfire. The crimson flames burned brighter, growing in size as Runeknight stalked toward his closest opponents. It was a trio of ghostly viruses with long, wet tongues that bespoke of an unnatural hunger. The knightly Navi reached out toward them, holding the sphere of flames between them, and shouted a quick word of command. The flames lanced out from the sphere, hundreds of flaming arrows that spiraled around each other as they strove to consume the ghostly viruses that hovered before them. The heat was immense, searing flames growing hotter as they sought flesh to burn.

Runeknight turned away from the ghosts, a low chant rumbling from his mouth. He sought out the next virus, a stationary gun turret once meant to protect Navi-kind and now infected with the lust to destroy. The Navi's chant grew in strength and volume as he reached out to the Canodumb. AN azure light shined from the cracks in his armor and the aura spread to encompass his whole body. The light began to seal the largest of the cracks, melding the metal together to remove the fractures caused by the viruses' wrath.

Nothing good comes without a price, no pain can be removed with a simple spell, and so it must be transfered unto another. A circle of darkness materialized beneath the turret, expanding until it surrounded the metal frame completely. The inky surface of the darkness seemed to heave and twist as through something were trapped within and yearning to break free. Runeknight's chant reached the end, a crescendo of sound that spread across the entire battlefield, and the darkness tore. Twin pillar of jet black flame erupted from the tear, each moving to encircle the turret and wrap around it as a boa would its prey. The dark flames sought to transfer Runeknight's pain, to bring suffering onto those who deserved it even as the blue aura healed Runeknight's wounds.

The Navi halted his chant with an abrupt silence and turned his attention to the remaining turrets. Their power was greater than that of the other viruses. They could do the most harm and so they had to be stopped. His black lacquered crossbow materialized in a gout of cobalt flame and Runeknight took careful aim. The canodumbs were stationary and so made easy targets for a skilled Navi. Runeknight took aim and slipped his finger over the trigger of the crossbow. He squeezed lightly and the arrow was loosed to soar over the battlefield. As it neared the turrets, a small package wrapped around the shaft of the arrow exploded and a hailstorm of iron pellets rain down upon the battlefield. Runeknight hoped that both turrets would be caught in the blast of metal and reduced to naught more than scrap.

Not wanted to be caught stationary again, the knightly Navi was on the move. He could not trust in a shield if all of the viruses were to attack once more and so he was determined not to make himself a target. He ran across the battlefield, seeking cover where it lay and waiting for an opportunity to once more strike at the enraged viruses.

Runeknight: 90
Runeknight smirked beneath his visor. In a matter of seconds the viral horde had been reduced to three bushes and two Metools. The battle was nigh over and his last spell had restored much of his strength. Now there was nothing left to do but finish the battle and move on.

"Sire, could you grant me the use of the flaming arrows?" Runeknight asked.

"Of course, I am also sending you a Recov30. It pays to be prepared." Zan answered.

"As you say, Sire."

Runeknight held his hand out and his crossbow materialized in a flash of cobalt light. The black lacquered wood gleamed in the light provided by the arrow set into the bow, the tip already ablaze with a crimson flame. Runeknight took aim at the group of bush-like viruses, spotting an area between two that were bunched together. With luck, the blaze would leap from one to the other and incinerate both leafy viruses. The Navi slid his finger over the trigger and squeezed softly. The arrow ripped through the air, trailing crimson, on its way toward the plant viruses.

His quarrel spent, Runeknight reached behind him to grasp another. There was no quiver strapped across his back, but the Navi went through the motions of drawing a second quarrel. A line of cobalt fire stretched from his fingertips to form a quarrel of dark wood and blackened steel. Runeknight set the bolt into his crossbow and drew back the string until it locked in place. With a single word, crimson flames erupted along the length of the arrowhead. The Navi steadied the bow against his shoulder and took aim at the third leafy virus in the line. Once more his finger slipped over the trigger and he pulled back with an even motion. The arrow soared through the air, a fiery blaze sailing straight for the small virus.

The Navi dropped the crossbow to his side, the wooden weapon vanishing in a flash of cobalt fire seconds before it struck the ground. He circled the line of viruses, unsure of what counter they could gather, but determined not to e caught unawares once more. Another surge of energy flickered through his body and he held out his hand. A small vial appeared in a flash of light. Within the vial was a strange potion of blue liquid that shined with a soft light. Runeknight's visor raised automatically and the Navi brought the vial to his lips. He swallowed the potion in one gulp and tossed the vial aside. As his visor slid shut, he could feel the effects of the drink. It was much like his healing spell, a wave of energy passed through his and restored his strength. He felt very much whole again, ready to take on the world.

Runeknight: 120
This was it. The battle was almost over. Runeknight bore down on the duo of Metools, crossbow already materializing within his grasp. The knightly Navi reached behind his back, a crossbow quarrel forming from a blast of cobalt flame. Runeknight took the arrow and fitted it within his black lacquered bow, drawing taunt the bowstring with a swift, fluid movement. Runeknight took aim at the closest of the Metool, setting the stock of the bow against his armored shoulder to steady his aim. Runeknight slipped his finger over the trigger, squeezing lightly with a quick motion. The arrow exploded from the crossbow, ripping through the air with a twang as it sailed toward the small virus.

The Navi could feel the surge of energy accompanying a BattleChip move throughout his body. He held out his right hand, his left still grasping the crossbow by the stock. A small black case crafted from wood materialized in his hand. Runeknight set the wooden case against the stock of the crossbow, the two wooden objects merging together to form a whole. Within the black case were five small quarrels, each set to load one after the other for a rapid rate of fire.

Runeknight was about to take aim when he felt another tingle of energy. With his right hand free once more, Runeknight summoned the BattleChip data that Zan had sent him. Another vial of blue liquid appeared in a flash of light, though this vial was noticeably smaller than the last. The Navi's visor rose of its own accord and Runeknight removed the vial's small, cork stopper with his teeth. He spat out the cork and raised the vial to his lips, downing the glowing liquid in one gulp. Once more he could feel the effects of the healing draught, the wounds he had sustained at the hands of the horde of viruses fading to almost nothing.

The Navi dropped the vial and took up his crossbow in both hands. He took aim at the second Metool and slid his finger over the trigger, his right hand moving to steady the crossbow closer to the front. He pulled the trigger. A handful of quarrels escaped the bow in rapid succession, each gliding through the air toward the virus. Runeknight held the bow steady with both hands, the mass of arrows creating recoil that could throw off his aim if he was not careful.

Runeknight: 130

-A WINNER IS YOU-
Get: 2100z
(Quick post. At school. Hovering teachers.)

Runeknight panted softly as he dismissed his spear. The battle had been hard fought, but he triumphed in the end. He gathered the core data left over from the deleted viruses and prepared himself to head deeper into the Net.

((Battle 17 plz!))
A gang of Heelnavis appear in the distance, they spot Runeknight.
"What do we have here? A navi this deep?" one Heelnavi questioned, raising up a sword. The other Heelnavis sneered, activating their own weapons.
"Well, looks like we need to teach him a lesson. Ain't that right boys?" another Heelnavi spat, eliciting jeers at Runeknight from the other navis. The gang of four slowly surround Runeknight
This doesn't bode well.

-BATTLE 17-
-HAJIME!-

((Modded, your Mystery Data will come next battle. I assure you.))
Runeknight glanced from side a side, a cool gaze that bespoke of caution. He was surrounded by a quartet of HeelNavi, each with weapons activated and intent on the basest form of mischief. The armored Navi smirked beneath his mask, he was outnumbered, but he had faced far worse odds than this. If these punks wanted a battle, then they would have one. Still, he decided to give them fair warning and focused his gaze on the swordsman, the HeelNavi that looked to be the leader of the ragtag gang of ruffians.

"Know this, brigand." Runeknight spoke with a calm authority. "I am an officer of the law, NetPolice Navi Designation: Runeknight. Know that you four are obstructing a routine patrol of this NetSpace and that I shall be forced to arrest you if you persist."

The knightly Navi sent a silent message to his NetOp, asking for permission to allow the four ruffians to leave if they so chose. Zan was unsure of how to respond. The four HeelNavi were obviously up to know good and had brandished weapons against Runeknight. However, they had yet to attempt to harm the NetPolice Navi despite threats. It was a clear case of verbal assault against an officer of the law, but had yet to degrade to anything more than that. He had made such concessions for his Navi before and if Runeknight was willing to allow the four Navi to leave then so be it.

"I have no qualms against it." Zan offered to his Navi. "If they retract their statements and disengage their weapons, then they may leave unmolested. I don't really feel like having to arrest a bunch of punk Navi. Do what you will, Runeknight."

"Thank you, Sire." The Navi returned his attention once more to the leader of the HeelNavi. "Do not make the mistake of attempting battle. Lower weapons and retreat peacefully. I shall not make this offer again."

"Feh! Us? Back down to you?" the Heelnavi with the Shotgun spat in Runeknight's face. "We're the ones in charge here, so you're the one who should scram! Ain't that right Boss?"
The Heelnavi with the sword nodded, "That's right, you come into OUR territory demanding that WE leave? What a joke!" The Heelnavi beckoned to the others, who aimed their weapons at the NetPolice Navi.
"So let's give YOU a chance to scram and save YOURSELF," the gang leader suggested. The tension in the air was thick, either Runeknight leaves, or he fights for the sake of justice.
Of course, he was still on patrol duty, so he'd probably fight.
But then the unexpected, well, slightly unexpected, happened. The Rageclaw navi, probably impatient from the discussion, snarled at Runeknight and charged at him, swiping his claws at Runeknight, who dodged the attack.
"Oh now you've done it Jones," the gang leader sighed, he readied his sword. "Get 'im boys!" The tension broke, and the Heelnavi's charged.
Looks like it's go time.

"Bah," Runeknight spat as he nimbly dodged away from the snarling, clawed HeelNavi. "So be it then."

Runeknight's spear materialized in a blinding flash of cobalt energy, the escaping from the palm of his left hand to channel to travel up and down to form the shaft and tip of the jet black, metallic weapon. The Navi could already feel his NetOp responding, slotting BattleChips into the PET to be uploaded into Runeknight's temporary battle systems. The armored Navi smiled beneath his visor, knowing with out a doubt the plan that was forming in Zan's mind.

Runeknight held his spear aloft, near the end of the shaft and with one hand, as it twitched beneath his grasp. The knightly Navi relished the familiar surge of energy that rippled throughout his body and channeled from his fingertips into the spear. The head of the spear twisted and morphed, the rear facing spines stretching back to engulf over half of the shaft. The spear head grew massive as it straightened, an enormous blade crafted of stone coated in steel. With such a weapon, Runeknight could strike down any foe, smashing through them and rending their bodies' limb from limb. It was a gruesome death, but quick and relatively painless.

"An honor almost too much for these brigands," Runeknight remarked as he tested the weight of his massive blade with a few quick swings.

Runeknight felt another BattleChip being taking hold of him, the Navi's body lightening and becoming almost ethereal. Quickly, he concentrated on the lead ruffian, willing himself to be behind the thug, to travel across space in the blink of an eye. Cobalt flames erupted from the earth beneath the Navi, consuming him, and then dissipated in a flash, leaving no trace of Runeknight to be found.

Another gout of flames ripped through the air behind the swordsman, and Runeknight was there, massive blade resting lightly on his shoulder. The armored Navi stepped to the left and twirled into a short spin, both hands wrapped tightly around the hilt of the huge sword as he swung it like a bat at the swordsman. He hoped to crush the defiant rogue, to decimate him and leave him broken, on the floor next to his comrades. It was a simple ploy; take the king and the pawns fall. His strike was a mighty one, strong enough to hurl the HeelNavi into his companions, strong enough to shatter the stone and steel of his massive blade, kicking up a storm of debris that blocked his vision, and leave only his spear at its core.

Not knowing the effects of his strike, Runeknight banished his spear and instead summoned his crossbow, the black lacquered weapon appearing in a flash of cobalt light. There was already a quarrel loaded into the bow, the tip glistening with a liquid hue. The string was already pulled back and locked. All Runeknight had to due was aim and fire. The Navi strafed to his right, moving away from the resulting dust cloud and avoiding any counteracts that would follow. He set the stock of the crossbow against his shoulder, holding the weapon in both arms and with head cocked to the side to use the sights mounted on the smooth black wood. His legs moved with a practiced steady tread, moving slowly to the right with one foot passing over the other.

The hunter caught a glimpse of his prey. The swordsman that he had attacked with his massive blade was standing near the HeelNavis equipped with shotgun and claw. Each was a deadly threat that had to be neutralized as soon as possible. The knightly Navi took aim, using the sights to guide his hands and the path the arrow would travel. He eased his finger over the trigger and pulled back softly. There was a low twang as the quarrel left the bow and sailed through the air, emitting a high pitched hum as it ripped through the sky on its way toward the trio of HeelNavi. As it soared, the glistening arrowhead began to stretch until it trailed an aquatic aura. It was like a tumbling wave moving through the sky to crash into the three HeelNavi in its path.

"Confound it!" The leader Heelnavi snarled as he was knocked into Rageclaw's and Shotgun's row. "I'll get you- Oh snap," the Heelnavi began, swiping at Runeknight, who dodged, and was concurrently blasted by the Wideshot, the only thing saving him from certain deletion being his Undershirt. Vulcanguy yelled in dismay as he fired upon Runeknight with his Vulcan, only to see one of his shots hit.
"This guy's unreal," Shotgun whispered.

Runeknight cursed beneath his breath as his arrow struck the swordsman dead center, abruptly ending the wave of energy that would has cascaded down to collide with his two companions. The second part of his ploy had failed, but he knew that Zan still had a plethora of NetBattling tricks that were useful against combating the numbers game. The Navi, still confident in his abilities and those of his NetOp, circled around the isolated trio of HeelNavi, accepting a few minor blasts of Vulcan fire as he sought a better attack position.

"I gave you the chance to flee," Runeknight spoke softly. "But you refused and engaged in violent activity toward an officer of the NetPolice. By law, you leave me no choice but to actively pursue your immediate deletion. My apologies."

He could already feel the BattleChip energy flowing through him, surging from his chest to encompass his entire body. His fingers tingled with raw power and cobalt sparks of energy danced between his fingertips. His spear materialized in his hand, twin jets of cobalt flame emerging to form the magnificent weapon. The knightly Navi stared down his wounded adversary, still determined to take the king and scatter his pawns. The Navi stalked closer, spear held in both hands with tip low to the ground.

Runeknight could feel the strength boiling within him, begging for release. He turned his spear in a quick spin that brought it end over end. A small trail of flames wreathed the shaft of the spear as it twirled and Runeknight smirked beneath his visor. The flames grew stronger and soon engulfed the entirety of the spear. The knightly Navi halted his spin and thrust the spear toward the trio of HeelNavi. Like the breath of a dragon, the crimson flames leapt from the spear and hurdled toward the HeelNavi, threatening to incinerate them within the spiraling inferno. The knightly Navi gave a shout of command as the final flash of flames left his spear. The trailing fires flared bright and split to sail through the air toward the gun toting Navi and his enraged brethren.

Runeknight dashed to his left, turning circles around the trio of HeelNavi in order to gain a better angle of attack. Flames roared on the battlefield, reflecting off his jet black armor and giving him a visage of death. He bore down on the Navi, his spear once more alight with a crimson inferno. Runeknight charged forward, thrusting with his spear held aloft in one hand, gripped by the end of the shaft to maximize his reach. The flaming spear seared through two of the HeelNavi, the inferno cascading from the shaft to stretch toward the Navi with the Vulcan. The heat was oppressive, the flames all consuming. In the end, nothing could surpass the infinite flame.

Runeknight's fiery attack roasts the Heelnavis to ash. Apparently, the other navis hadn't been wise enough to invest in an Undershirt like their leader. Three navis EJO'D, one to go. The Heelnavi attacks, two of his bullets negated, one dodged.

Runeknight watched as his opponents fell, one by one, until the lone gunman survived. He stared across the battlefield at his adversary, pitying him, but also determined in his duty. The ruffian had been caught up in the wrong crowd; he was a follower that chose the wrong leader. It wasn't truly his fault that he was in this situation. However, the HeelNavi had to be held accountable for his actions. Runeknight felt two small rounds of ammunition ricochet off of his chest plate. The third, he dodged with a slight tilt of his head.

"We are all responsible for our actions," Runeknight whispered as he strode forward.

As the knightly Navi stalked toward his remaining opponent, he began a low, solemn chant. His words reverberated over the battlefield, archaic syllables stretching out to envelope the Net. The small dents and cracks in Runeknight's armor began to glow with a faint blue light. A sense of relief washed over the armored knight as he walked forward, his chant growing louder with each step. The wounds sealed until nothing remained, but no magic could remove pain from one without transferring it unto another. A circle of darkness opened beneath the HeelNavi. Its surface was smooth as glass, though beneath lay an intense hunger and fury. Flames licked against the surface of the circle, eager to burst free from their constraints and consume anything that it could reach.

Runeknight held up his hand as his chant reached its finale. His voice a crescendo of sound, the surface of the darkness boiled over and jet black flames reached up from within the black and moved to ensnare the HeelNavi. The flames snaked around, encircling the Navi to consume its flesh. Pain could not be destroyed by magic, only transferred unto another. Runeknight's outstretched hand shined bright and three miniscule spheres of cobalt energy formed to float just past his fingertips. The armored Navi shouted a final word of command and the spheres ripped through the sky, hurtling toward the HeelNavi caught up amid the black flames.

"How ironic," the Vulcan navi commented as he was torn to pieces by his own specialty weapon.
Nothing was left.

"Sigh, what fools." Runeknight muttered as he gathered up the remaining data.

"True, but you gave them fair warning." Zan agreed. "We can't save people from their own mistakes."

"Aye, we are but men, not gods."

Runeknight continued on, heading deeper into the Net.

((18...))

Runeknight wanders onward and finds... Metools? There seem to be hundreds of Metools lying at his feet, a quick scan of the area reveals a Heelnavi in the distance slicing away at the poor viruses with his sword. The Heelnavi suddenly spots Runeknight and in a panic, jacks out!
There seems to be no trouble until Runeknight hears a EXTREMELY Cheesy sounding song.

Go, go Metool Rangers!
Your powers shine so bright!
Go, go Metool Rangers!
Let the crystals glow with might!

At the end of this verse, a Metool, red in appearance, leaps out of nowhere, it's face is covered with a black visor, a sword in the place of his pickaxe pointed high into the air.

Your super-sentai style shows,
When you swiftly save the day,
With crystal power that endows,
Ranger power all the waaaay!

Another Metool, bearing the same appearance as the Red Metool, only black, flips and lands to the right side of the Red Metool. His pickaxe is replaced by a gun like object, and it is pointing straight at Runeknight!

Go, go Metool Rangers!
Red, Black, Green, Pink, and Blue!
Go, go Metool Rangers!
They fight for me and you!

Yet another Metool Ranger flips out of the air, this time a green one, landing to the left of the Red Metool. Her pickaxe is replaced by a bow, which she points at at 45 degree angle up into the air, while facing slightly sideways.

And when the rangers all unite
MegaMet they do release!
And they will always win the fight
For everlasting peeeeeeaaaace!

A blue one now, landing on the side of the black one, his pickaxe reduced to a simple pole and pointing towards the side he's facing, which is to the right of the Red Metool Ranger of course.

Go, go Metool Rangers!
You Mighty Sentai Metool Rangers!

At this final verse, a pink one lands next to the green ranger, brandishing his daggers in a Kung-Fu like position, one above his head, and one at his side, he is facing to the left of the Red Ranger. A giant flash of light and an explosion finish this entrance off, suffice to say, it was very flashy.

"All these poor mets! Who could've done such a thing?" Ranger Green asked, a sad tone in her voice

"Obviously the culprit is standing right there!" Ranger Red proclaimed, pointing his sword at Runeknight. "Have at you evil navi! You will face the wrath of the many bretheren you've slain!" Metool Red exclaimed, brandishing his sword dangerously at Runeknight.

"Wait a minute Red, how do we even know he's the culprit?" Metool Black questioned cynically, lowering his gun.

"Black! He's the only one here! He's the only one who could've done it!" Metool Red argued, waving his sword frantically.

"We fight now?" Metool Blue asked, his words seemingly taking a lot of effort to say.

"Of course we fight! Metool Rangers! Attack!" Metool Red proclaimed, charging into battle.

"Hoo boy, there's no way out of this one," Metool Black grumbled as he readied his gun, aiming at Runeknight.
