Inside the shop

(We had just went thorugh this... lol. I'm sorry again... I was super exhausted and was just trying to get it over with.)

Joseph grabed the upgrade. "Thanks." He smiled and made haste back to his house in ACDC ready to meet up with Destin and Azure as soon as possible.
Stepping into the shop once more, the operator glanced around before making his way up to the counter. "I'd like to buy a Break shot effect upgrade, as well as a Process Upgrade please."

[Buster Shot=1,500 Zenny
Process Upgrade 3=300 Zenny
Total: 1,800 Zenny]
"Hm? Ah, one moment."

Suitachi turned around after placing a box on one of the shelves. He then walked over to the counter and withdrew the Process Upgrade. The shopkeeper tossed it on the counter before reaching for a slightly larger item which had to be the Break Shot.

"There you go. Come again," he said with a smile.

Gave a light nod of his head as he took up the boxes and turned to leave. "Thank you kindly." he'd say simply as he walked back out of the shop.
"...Jeez, I just wish I could've seen the look on his face." Nitro said as Chris walked into the shop. "What're we doing here, anyway?"
"There's just a few things I want to buy. I'm thinking about just going to the park afterward." Chris said, walking up to the counter. "I'm sure that you'll appreciate what I'm getting."
Chris turned his attention to the shopkeeper.
"Hi, I'll take three Process Upgrades, these'll be my fifth, sixth, and seventh, a Fire buster shot upgrade, and a Knockback buster shot upgrade."
Chris paused for a moment, then said "If my Navi's a Fire element, does the Fire hit cost any less? or is it still 1000?"

Purchasing:
Process Upgrades #5, 6, and 7: 500+600+700 = 1800z
Fire buster shot: (1000z/500z, unsure which it is)
Knockback buster shot: 1000z
Total: (3800z/3300z, depending on how much the Fire buster shot costs)
((bonk))
Suitachi was kind of spacing out, thinking about something else, when Chris made his order. He looked at the customer in front of him, or, rather, looked past him, and made a blank look. He soon snapped to attention, though, when Chris asked the question.

"Uh, oh, what? Oh, Element Shot. Not a thousand. Five hundred, right, right..." mumbled the shopkeeper, grabbing the requested items and bagging them in a plastic bag. Placing the items on the countertop, he shook his head to clear it enough to give his greeting.

"Three thousand three hundred. Have a nice day," he said.

Chris GET: Process Upgrade x3, Knockback Shot, Element Shot
Chris LOSE: 3300z
"Thanks, you too." Chris said as he picked up the bag and left the money on the counter. Chris turned around and walked out the door, his next destinations clear in his mind. First, his house, to do a bit of coding, then, the park!
Once again, Sabrina let herself into the shop, and quietly began flipping through the store's catalog. After a few minutes of thinking, she made up her mind, and starting pulling out cash. Lots of it. The likes of which hadn't been seen since...well, probably a while. And it wasn't just to show she had cash to burn. "Two HPMemories and six Process Upgrades, please!"

Sabrina had been flipping through the catalog for so long that she hadn't realized that she was talking to nobody: the shop was completely deserted. If it was a movie, it would have a tumbleweed tumbling through for dramatic effect, along with some lonely winds. Of course, it was a shop and there was nothing of the sort there.

Suddenly, she heard a sound above her, and realized that a section of the ceiling was moving ever so slowly. A look up revealed that a certain man's head was looking down on her. "Oh, sorry! I think I forgot to put on the Closed sign up front. Cleaning out some pipe leaks and stuff up here."

Suitachi jumped down, dressed in a grey (or was it white?) shirt and pants, dirtied very thoroughly. He threw a wrench he was holding behind him and quickly brought Sabrina's purchase for her.

"Have a good day!" he said, before jumping back up to the ceiling in a single leap.

"Uh...you too!" Though after handing him over 20000z, that was probably just redundant on her part. With a shrug, she wandered over to one of the shop's tables, and took to installing the upgrades. After all, this way she wouldn't need to worry about misplacing anything. Not like anyone was going to bump into her, or sit on something.

A few minutes was all she needed to get all 8 Navi improvers into her PET, mainly because Process Upgrades were mind numbingly simple to install. In addition, she got around to reinstalling the NaviCust programs that had been disabled by...that jerkwad in DenTech whose name she couldn't remember. Oh well. Her errand complete, Sabrina got up and left the store, destination...somewhere.

(TO BEACH)
Strolling into the shop once again, Zeo turned on his PET. While ViralMan got his bearings after being abruptly shut off, the boy zeroed in on his intended purchases and walked up to the counter. "Going to be getting some more HP for you, and more space for programming attacks," he said to the Navi. "Though I don't know why after your little show back on Beach Street." Zeo sighed.

"All I did was laugh... you looked funny. Deal with it and move on, please." ViralMan crossed his arms indignantly. "I dare you to say you wouldn't have laughed in that situation. Unable to do so, Zeo quieted down sheepishly and called out what he had come to buy. "Two HP Memories and three Process Upgrades, please." Placing his PET on the counter like usual, he lamented the loss of around half of his busting funds.

(HP Memory 2, 3: 1,500+2,000=3,500)
(Process Upgrade 10, 11, 12: 1,000+1,100+1,200=3,300)
(Total: 6,800z)
"Right away," said the shopkeeper, as he crouched to reach the things in the counter display. Placing them onto the top, he bagged them in plastic bags and took the zenny from Zeo's PET.

"Have a nice day."

For the second time that day, Sabrina strolled into the Navi Shop, this time laying down the cash without even looking at the stock. This time she did some homework ahead of time. "Two NaviCust Expansions, please!"

-NaviCust Expansion 02 - 1500z
-NaviCust Expansion 03 - 2000z
=Total Cost - 3500z
[IS DAT SUM CHAOS-READY SPLASHMAN]

"Two Custom Expansions, of course," said Suitachi, as he plucked the upgrades deftly from out of seemingly nowhere, and placed them on the countertop. "Three thousand, and five hundred..." said the shopkeeper, as he counted the zenny. Nodding in acknowledgment of a complete total, he sent Sabrina off with his typical "thank you, have a nice day."

Zeo thanked the shopkeeper and collected his purchases. As he turned to leave, he watched Sabrina walk in and up to the counter. "Don't you know her?" ViralMan asked, motioning for him to give the Navi a better look. "Hey, yeah. Sabrina," he said without even thinking. "Guess I should say hello." ViralMan looked at the boy, confused. "She can probably hear you right now, so that's a little redundant."

"Oh yeah, right," Zeo replied meekly. Turning to Sabrina, he made a little wave and greeted her. "Hello, Sabrina. Here to buy lots of upgrades?" he asked as cheerfully as he could sound while wondering whether he had ever even seen her Navi.
"Much obliged!" Sabrina scooped up her latest upgrades, and started installing them without delay. "Don't worry, I'll be back to use these later!"

As she prepared to leave, the Netopian girl started to hear someone near her. She knew one of those voices somewhere, before...oh, hey, Zeo. "Hey Zeo! Eh, just getting a couple of things. How 'bout you?" Admittedly, she'd been paying zero attention to anything that went around her until just then, so she didn't even know if he just walked in or something.
Somewhat encouraged by the fact that Sabrina remembered his name, Zeo proceeded to answer her question. "I was just over on Beach Street doing some busting with ViralMan. Got a fun little sunburn, but some money to go with it," he said happily. Determined to get a word in edgewise, ViralMan piped up. "Yeah, and some fun little viruses..." He shrugged. "We won though, so I can't say they were that bad."

"It's not like beating Beach Net viruses is some kind of major achievement, you know," Zeo admonished his Navi. ViralMan crossed his arms. "Well, if you know of anywhere I can claim an achievement for beating viruses, just let me know," he said sarcastically. Trying to smile, the boy returned his eyes to Sabrina. "Anyway, half of that nice amount of money just went into a few upgrades. They start to get pretty expensive after a while," he noted.

"How much have you had to spend on upgrades recently?" Zeo asked, figuring it would give him some insight as to the nature of Sabrina's Navi.
"Beach Street? Huh, that's where I just was." They must've been in different parts of it, though...otherwise they probably should've bumped into each other earlier. "And yeah, those upgrades really do get pricey after a while...lemme see..." She hadn't gotten a chance to put it away, so she had to have it somewhere...aha, there it was. The receipt to her earlier visit. "Two HPMemories and 5 Process Upgrades...21600z. I don't think it's that unfair, but yeesh! I'm not made of money, you know?"

"Good thing Rogue Net's a good place to get cash, huh?" A rather short hologram suddenly appeared on Sabrina's shoulder. One without so much as a face.
"Twenty thousa-" Zeo blurted out before stopping himself. Going over the similarities of the upgrades both of them had just purchased, that was... wow. "I'm not sure I've ever had that much, actually. I guess I should start saving up if I'm going to buy any more." He laughed, though it was sort of forced. "I didn't even spend half that for almost as much. Your Navi must be something else."

Speak of the devil, something was appearing on Sabrina's shoulder. If Zeo had been at all surprised, he didn't show it. After watching that Red Navi win the tournament a while back, he figured anything could be insanely strong despite outward appearances. And the diminutive hologram spoke of the Rogue Nets. "Rogue Net? That was brought up on plenty of news sites after that big 'war' you missed, Zeo." Zeo bristled. "I wasn't anywhere near you or Electown when that happened, so pipe down. And I heard about Rogue Nets too; they're the kind of place you could claim some kind of achievement from." He scratched his head. "There might have been something else about an even worse place, but maybe they were just talking about the Undernet."

"Anyway, it's nice to meet you," Zeo said to the hologram on Sabrina's shoulder. "I don't think we've ever been properly introduced, so I'm Zeo..." He held up his PET. "...and this is my Navi, ViralMan." The Navi gave a casual two fingered salute from inside the device.
