"Hello,I would like to purchase a HPMemory and 2 Process Upgrades for Blazeman. We nearly escaped from the brink of losing our battlechips and zenny,so..yeah. Here you go."

((The Process upgrades are 100z + 100z for each consequent upgrade, so your first upgrade would cost 100z, the 2nd would cost 200z, the third would cost 300z, etc. So, 2 process upgrades would be 100z + 200z, so 300z in total. Which would bring your final cost to 1300z, not 1200))

"Custom and a Process for the kid, Custom and a Spread for the lady, and Memory and two Processes for the child," Suitachi said, his hands ablur as he swiped the upgrades from their appropriate spots in the displays, with them ending up in bags and the money ending up in the register. "Have a nice da-" he was about to say, when he was interrupted by the rapid-blather machine set to maximum. He was taken a bit aback when the girl slammed down on the countertop, and his eyes widened ever so slightly in curiosity. Who was this strange fellow? "....Yes, I am Suitachi," he responded, before being rushed again with another tirade of appreciation. He didn't get this much attention from his other customers, and he was slightly suspicious. Seeing the notepad and pen slide across the counter made an eyebrow rise higher, but he followed through despite his suspicions.

He let out a sigh. This wasn't his usual day. But then again, he could use a little excitement, plus some help around the shop wouldn't be all that bad. "Speed Upgrades, eh. Well, looking at you, I don't think I can trust you with the specifics just that easily..." he trailed off at the end, but came back, "but! You can stay here and help me with re-organization. See if you've got what it takes, okay?"

Giving a smile and a nod as he got his upgrades, he did his best to not get in anyone's way as the crowd formed. Even though he was getting used to stuff like this, it's hard to get use to fan girlism and big crowds. Adjusting the bag on his shoulder, he quickly got to work on installing the new upgrades.

With her new upgrades in hand, Sabrina left the store, never to be seen again...only without the never part. Because that would be ridiculous.

(TO A THREAD THAT HAS DIED)

Camillia gracefully carted herself through the door, not wanting to cause yet another embarrassment. "Good day, sir," she greeted the shopkeeper once more, trying to get herself to the counter as close as possible. "I would like a Speed Upgrade, please. Read from the catalogue that it will be really useful."

"Ah, lil' wheelchair miss. Right away," Suitachi said, a smile of recognition on his face as he unlocked a glass display in the shop, bringing out the oft-coveted upgrade and bagging it into a plastic bag. The bag was then handed over to the girl.

"Have a nice day, and sorry the door's not wide enough," he greeted with a chuckle.

"Thank you," she said, about to leave before she realized something.

"... Oh, I apologize but could you sell me one of those process upgrades as well?"

"Of course."

Suitachi reached for the gestured upgrade, and put it into the bag along with the earlier purchase. "There you go." Smile still present.

Handing over the sufficient amount of zennies over the counter, she gladly took the plastic bag, turning to leave. "Thank you again, sir."

Mazer hopped off the bus before it pulled away from the SciLabs stop and leisurely walked towards the Navi Shop. He glanced down at his PET; the three were still recharging in their recovery modules. He walked through the door and approached the counter.

"Hello, I would like to buy 6 process upgrades, please."

He counted up the total he would need for the purchase, and placed it on the table.


Buying: Process Upgrades 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 (12900z)
Total: 12900z

"Big spender, huh," Suitachi commented as he pulled the Process Upgrades out from under the counter. He did a quick visual check of the cash and clacked the Upgrades down on the glass.

"Enjoy."

"Thank you very much!"

Mazer retrieved his items and walked out the door to the bus stop. He was almost to busy looking at his PET to notice the bus arrived, and hopped on for the relatively short ride back to ACDC.

The girl was devastated. After going out of her way to ask, she had been denied. Though she had been so much in a tizzy before, and this may have had been enough to set her off anyway, this wasn't all.

It got worse.

After denying her, her hero went on to insult her. He didn't just say she couldn't look. He didn't just say he didn't like trusting things to people. He didn't just say he didn't trust her. He said "judging by the looks of you, I don't think I can trust you." That sounded an awful lot like an insult to her. She had no idea what about her looks made him dislike her, but she did know that he apparently did.

She had failed her hero, and he had just failed her.

This was enough to start the waterworks. And once she started tearing up, she covered her face with her arm and dashed out of the store with a quick "Excuse me I'm sorry but I like need to go." It sounded very choked up, and was very quiet.

However over her own beating broken heart, her quiet sobs, and her words, she never heard the recovery her hero had offered. She was long gone before that.

"Wait-"

It was a bit too late, as the girl stormed out the doors of the Navi Shop, the keeper's hand stretched out uselessly. It dropped to his side. Suitachi was confused by the girl's sudden appearance, and prompt lack thereof afterwards. What had he done? Perhaps he had treated her too harshly, or he had said certain words that she found offensive? One of his eyebrows was arched slightly, his face muddled up in confusion.

"What did I do...?" he said to himself, with nobody in the shop except himself.

He looked at one of the little pictures he kept by his side, of him and the Electopian female. Suitachi picked it up by one hand, his lips slightly pursed. Focusing on his wife, he muttered under his breath, "Maddie, what did I do?"

Suitachi exhaled heavily, his head muddled. Putting down the picture frame back where it was, he walked to the back room. Maybe some coffee would clear it up, and he'd forget all about it. Yeah, that's the ticket. He left the clipboard of the girl's, and his signed name on it, alone on the countertop to simmer.

Rose flew into the store, ecstatic over the fact that she had money for the upgrade she had wanted.

Once she reached the front desk, she stopped. Obviously.

"Hey there Suitachi!" she said, excited. "Great day we're having, huh? Anyway, could I get a Process Edit by any chance?"

She readied the zenny for the shop keep and anxiously awaited her requested upgrade.

[PROCESS EDIT: CAP = 140 ZENNY, SO -140 ZENNY]

"All right, sure," Suitachi replied plainly, reaching under the counter for a Process Edit. Not many people bought these, he thought, blowing off the dust of this particular one. Setting it on the table, he flashed a typical smile.

"There you go, miss. Have a nice day."

Rose gave him a large smile. He was far less creepy this time, and she was genuinely appreciative.

"Thank you very much! Have a great day!" she exclaimed as she took her new upgrade and dashed out of the shop.

Jogging in and taking in a few long breaths, having just run from the Metroline, Rania walked slowly over to meet Suitachi. "Hey Suie-, er, Suitachi," she greeted him, flubbing the name as usual. "Can I buy an HP Upgrade and a Process Upgrade? I think that's 3500 plus 1600, since I only have fifteen, so... 5100," she finished, fishing out the money and putting it on the counter.

"I'd actually like more upgrades than that. I've got space for more of them," MeleeMan requested.

"No, MeleeMan. I don't have that much money," she groaned, rapping her knuckles on the counter impatiently.

"No problem. Give me a sec," Suitachi replied, reaching under the counter, before Rania heard a great slamming sound and an "Yeowch!" before Suitachi reappeared, rubbing a comically large bump on his head. Noticeable only due to the shopkeep moving his hat.

"Right, an HP upgrade and a Process Upgrade was it? Here you are," Suitachi coughed, adjusting his glasses as he took the money and handed Rania the upgrades.

"Have a nice day," Suitachi commented as Tempoman appeared beside him.

"I would say that last feat was Karma, Suitachi," Tempoman remarked.

"Quiet you," Suitachi replied sharply, trying to keep a straight face.
