Guess this is goodbye, then...well, take care, and thanks for everything!" She gave Rogan an energetic wave as he departed, then headed for the door herself. This time, she'd handle the installation stuff at home. And it wasn't like she was afraid of getting held up for having valuable Navi electronics in a small plastic bag. After all, anyone that tried to mug her would get their mugs rearranged.
But anyway, now that it was just her and Martia, she needed to get back home and present herself to her father. So, off to the Metro for her.

Naomi nervously walked into the other shop, only to immediately stop in front of the door and glanced down at her PET. Whatever she saw seemed to calm her down a bit, and with the press of a button, activated a hologram of her Navi. "Remember, nothing like at Soryu's! Do that again, and so help me...!"
"Relax, I got the message. I'll just state my business, and nothing else. No help whatsoever."
"I don't think very many people would call what you said 'help'." On the plus side, the paralegal was much more loose as she walked over to the shop counter. "Okay, here's the list of stuff the shop offers. Pick out what you want, but I don't need to tell you that we don't have a whole lot of spending cash now..."
"I'm keenly aware." A few minutes passed as the hologram scanned and pondered just what she wanted AND could afford. But eventually, she reached her decision. "We'll take...a Process Upgrade, and a Slashing Shot."
The selection caused Naomi to look over her Navi, slightly confused. "I get the Process Upgrade, but...that Slashing Shot looks like a buster upgrade, and I've never even seen you use your buster attacks!"

Suitachi was sitting behind the counter, legs crossed and a PET in his hands. "Yes yes," he muttered at it while nodding, "It's alright... Yes yes..." A voice came from the PET, but apparently Suitachi had lowered the volume out of sheer lack of interest. As he was having a rather one-sided conversation with his companion, he noticed Naomi and raised from his seat. "Excuse me one moment..." he whispered to her and turned the volume of his PET back to normal.
"You should have seen it, Sui! A customer! An actual customer came and purchased a chip!" Soryu's voice sounded, mixed with the sound of sobbing and tears of joy, "Tonight's all on me! I'm celebrating!"
"Yeah, that's nice..." Suitachi remarked, "But I have a customer here. Who wants to buy merchandise that's more expensive than at your place, yet more people come here. While she undoubtedly noticed the conversation, Shuri showed absolutely no signs that she had, and simply bowed at Suitachi. "Thank you. Well, Naomi? Shall we get going?"

It was late!
However, an emergency was an emergency. Careless, Xenneth had allowed Megami to get into the predicament she was in, and now she needed some repairs. However, Xenneth figured it would just not be a simple fix up and let it all end with that; the violet haired boy decided that it was time to get back in the game and make sure Megami was in a better fighting condition she had been. Truth be told, he was driven by some hints of jealousy that the other NetNavi had brought out, showing some bravado and teamwork with his operator that put Xenneth to shame.
However, that was about to change.
Walking up to the counter, Xenneth had taken out his Zenny Card and slipped it into the keypad upon the peddler's desk. He did not carry cash as much, so it would have to do even though cash was quicker. He dialed upon the pad requesting for the Speed Upgrade item as well as some Process Upgrades to compliment it and waited for himself to be checked out.
"This won't happen again," the violet haired boy said lowly to himself, "I won't be careless when operating next time."
Waiting, he could only reflect on his latest failure.

"Hmm? What was that?" said Suitachi, mistakenly believing the boy to be talking to him, and he glanced at the keypad. "Oh, all right. Hold on a sec." Suitachi mumbled, disappearing under the counter. A moment later, his hand appeared above the counter, and picked up the Zenny Card. A few boxes found their way onto the countertop while the Zenny Card was swiped, the register beeping in acknowledgement.

With the upgrades placed into his care, Xenneth had begun to scrap them together. Raking them into his small satchel, he had taken a good look at them, careful he had not dropped any stray items, and then spun on his heel and running to the door in his dash hoping to get back to the campus.
He would have to remember to tell the shop keep "Thank you" next time he was not panicking.

Seemed pretty late for the shop to be open, but hey, if they made business off of it, then these store hours weren't so bad, were they?
A young boy came walking in; he browsed the shelves for a moment or two before picking out a combination of items that, while peculiar at best, would best fit his immediate needs. Or his Navi's, at least.

He spread his items out on the counter. Looks like he came to this store with a plan. And he stuck to it quite nicely.

Fortunately, he didn't freak out, since the boy seemed fully intent on paying. "...Ahem. Next time, wait for me to show up and get your upgrades for you. Customers going being the counter is strictly prohibited." It wasn't hard to see that he wanted to be a bit harsher, but he was restraining himself.

Suitachi walked up to the counter from a room in the back, holding a Bronco Burger in his hands and chewing on it while looking at the customer. "Sure," he said between eating the burger, "I'll get. Your things. In a moment." He then kneeled down behind the counter, vanishing from sight in order to 'look for the requested products'. But the rustle of someone looking for things wasn't heard, just the sound of someone eating. "Oh god, these are so good," was whispered from behind the counter, followed by a loud swallowing sound and the rustling of packaged products. "OK," Suitachi said as he stood up, ketchup still hanging from the side of his mouth. "That'll be..." he started and checked the Navi of his customer quickly, "1300." He held a handheld device near the PET for the transaction and pushed the products over to the girl. "Thanks for shopping at Suitachi's," he said with a smile and turned around to check his storage.

"...Thanks." She wasn't trying to be rude or anything, but Alda was just exhausted after everything she'd done today. She simply picked her stuff up, waved, and left, to remedy that particular problem.

It was a strange twist of events that lead to Thomas being outside of Suitachi's shop. It felt like years he had been cooped up in his dorm room, virus busting and netbattling and doing missions with Regalia... and then the next moment he was here, feeling strangely awake.
He inspected his PET, trying to gauge what he had been doing before now, but his activity log had been cleared. His recent busting history abruptly ended as well... even Regalia seemed a little confused, and returned Thomas' concerned look with a pensive one.
But there was one thing he did know! He had 13,000 zenny to spend, and by gosh he was going to spend it!
The usual cling-a-ling-a-ling of Suitachi's door marked Thomas' entry, the groggy teenager stretching as he walked toward the desk. He sat his pet on the counter, then did some mental arithmetic.
"Right so, I need... a speed upgrade and two process upgrades, please."

The older man frowned for a moment as he scrutinized Thomas' face, before shrugging and heading off to grab the respective parts. For a moment, he thought to himself, before piping up, "Maybe it's not my place to say, but I implore you to make smart substance-use choices; that can't be good at your age." Clearly he'd misinterpreted Thomas' grogginess.
