It's obvious that there were 10 coco nuts That way they each got one and the monkey got five, and the next day they divided them up again, and themonkey got the remainder of 0.

If the number of coconuts was divisible evenly by 5, they would have simply split them all among themselves, leaving no consideration of the necessary remainder for the monkey in the first place.

Perhaps the monkey had a gun? Or perhaps they are monkeyist which belive that monkeys are holy? Perhaps they would let the monkey eat his first to find out that they were safe to eat?

Second guy divides from 101 cocnuts, he takes 20.
Third guy divides from 81 cocnuts, ect for the 4th and 5th and then one last time for then next day.
