Hey, there was a game I heard about the other day. You shot yourself in the head with a magic gun to summon demons so you could fight monsters, or summat. Anyone know what it is?

Persona 4, and the 'demons' are called Stands, and they are a part of your mind. They are strengthened by having good relationships with poeple and doing well in school. Yes, it's a combination RPG Dating Sim. And the storyline sucks!

And the personas are based around your social links, yes, but they in turn each respond to a differing person/people.

Oh, right, Stands is from an anime where people call spirits out of themselves to fight for them. My bad confusing the origional for the rip.

And you don't need an emulator to play Streets of Rage or Golden Ax, just a PSP and the Sega Series Colection.

Ah, it's been ages since I've played Earthbound... It was my first RPG and... gosh, I really can't remember much about it, unfortunately. Now if it were Crono Trigger we were talking about, that I could do, no problemo. I know that game like the back of my hand. But Earthbound? Let's see... ... It's really hard to start...

Last I checked, stands didn't 'evolve' nor did they change how many hours you spent in school.

Stands did do awesome things like 'Za Warudo' and 'Ora ora ora ora ora ora'. Gotta respect that.

I went to the pawn shop to buy a Super Nintendo game. I asked if they had Earthbound, but they just sold it... for over $80! There is no way I'm going to be able to get that game.... I used to hate it, since I was like "OMG! WHY ARE THEY ATTACKING ME? ITS MY TURN!!!! MY LIFE IS DRAINING?!?!!!!!1111onehundredeleven" Man, I just didn't get the idea of Active Time Battle and the fact that your life doesn't instantly deplete when hit. When I finally figured that out, I had to return it to the rental place, and then they replaced the Super Nintendo games with N64, then Gamecube.... soon the only Nintendo games at videogame rentals will be for the Wii.

I'm pretty sure that the only technicality is that you have to own the game.
Which kind of defeats the point.

Eh, I enjoyed the early Final Fantasies myself. I never even owned a SNES.

Then you enjoyed FF1...? As FF2 and 3(U.S. Versions) were for the SNES.

I also enjoyed the Gameboy versions, Finaly Fantasy Adventure 1&2. My next FF was the PS1's FFVII, and then the chronicals that were 4&5.

FFIV is being rereleased in a better version for the DS. Anthologies has VI and Chrono Trigger, so pick it up if you can.

Are you sure they were Final Fantasy Adventures and not Final Fantasy Legends? Just asking, cause FFL2 and FFL3 are my favorite Gameboy games of all time.

Trivia: Did you know that the FFL series was actually Romancing Saga, just brought to America under the Final Fantasy label for better sales? : D

I just bought Battalion Wars 2 today.

I must say, that game kicks ass. I've only played through 3 levels on the first campaign, and I'm hooked. It is a PERFECT mix of strategy and shooting.

Its like Advance Wars, only action packed. <3

But yeah... I played a demo of Galaxies, too, and that game is fun. And Brawl will be epic, with its STAGE DESIGNER. MYES.
