Cheshire suddenly shrinks and changes into a small black cat. Her clothes disappear, immediately replaced by thick black fur on every inch of her skin. Her eyes gain slitted pupils and take on a golden hue. The marking of a spined crescent moves from her chest to become a silver patch over her left eye, and the marking on her arm disappears entirely. Although her right arm seems to function in this form, she still favors her left and as a result walks with a slight limp. The Gleipnir becomes little more than a simple chain collar with cute charms dangling here and there. As a result, Cheshire no longer uses the chain to attack; she uses her claws and teeth as all cats do. Chips are executed by some supernatural force that can only be explained as cat magic; bombs, for instance, summon the silhouette of a cat to charge at the enemy and disappear in a burst of fire or energy. Cheshire is still capable of speech in this form, albeit via a kind of broadcast telepathy, but she prefers to express herself in the usual cat manner, through mews and mannerisms.
