As this happened, the remaining Ice shard found its aim and lanced downwards, skewering through the unfortunate virus while it was still trying to press its attack on Jazz. The icicle itself dissipated, but lingering frost and ice clung the the creature's body despite its efforts to shake it off.
Not far away, Jazz was doing unsafe things with medical devices, but for now the series of syringes scattered and burst in the air part way across the room, failing to deliver their payload to anything. Still reeling while his operator attempted to code a short term solution, Jazz's haphazard reeling dodges weren't quite unpredictable enough for the injured, but still determined, Invader to ping him with a second lightning bolt. This one scorched through his outer barrier, amplifying itself against the surrounding metal surfaces, but fortunately the hare's first line of defence managed to stop the dangerous strike from penetrating further. The confused one also struck again, at something, though it didn't seem to be Jazz; once again the bolt arced and bounced, rebounding off metal surfaces in an erratic pattern before fizzling out.
Somewhere amidst the electric light show, Jazz retaliated to the bolt that struck him with another scattering of dubious needles. Though the shot itself was fairly wild, one of the syringes did strike against the injured Invader's shoulder. At first, it seemed to shrug it off, but as the contents did their work ,the virus staggered, then stumbled. Then it stood up straight, staring at the ceiling and reaching for its head, before a sudden swelling in its cranium burst into a series of four large, purple-fleshed, ridiculously muscled arms, each of which pounded fists down onto the ground and lifted the Invader bodily up, leaving it dangling from the top of its own skull like a puppet. Its eyes had gone from a calculating bloodshot coldness to a bestial, insentient red as it charged at Jazz , four fists knuckle-pounding across the floor while the small body swung uselessly between them. It lurched as it caught up, reared back and swung once, then again with its two leading arms, though both swings missed Jazz.
The body of the Invader began to shriek and the mutated creature stopped, stumbled, then sagged onto its back fists while the other two lifted up and, with a series of savage shrieks, began pounding on its own brain case. On the third simulations strike, the upper part of the virus burst and exploded into broken code and psychic static that chained across the room. By sheer dumb luck, Jazz had stumbled behind the service desk and the rolling wash of confusion managed to miss him, but the other Invader, just recovering from its own confusion attack, was not so fortunate. When the static cleared, the ruptured remains of the mutated Invader seemed to have reverted in death, as the glitch faded away; only one foe remained now.

Invader2Invader2 (Invader)
Flying about with its eyes bloodshot, its lips permanently scowling, and its comically tiny arms folded, the Invader is a mostly humanoid-shaped virus, about 5 feet tall, wearing a tight bodysuit that covers its body from neck to toe. It is much shorter in reality, however, if you look past the gigantic cranium it has on its head, which easily takes up a third of its total size. Bulging with folds and creases, it seems to pulse every few moments with electrical arcs running over its surface. With intelligence up and above most viruses (and some Navis), they will not hesitate to use more complex tactics than normal viruses. The V1, V2, and V3 versions have blue, purple and red skin respectively. Normal versions wear a white bodysuit with black trim, while EX versions wear a black bodysuit with white trim. The Z version has light green skin with purple bodysuit and black trim, and its eyes are entirely purple.
