Such... such polygonal perfection...
I wonder if the eyes light up.
Traveling to Japan

I wasn't able to get close enough to touch it, unfortunately. But I do know that when the park "exhibit" officially opens on July 11th, the eyes will light up, the head will move, and light/mist will come from ~50 points on its body. Unfortunately I leave July 10th. T^T

I don't eat that much, and I love Nippon! R(L¤`)/[]<ªñÎ ê~!
Plus, it's boring here in Boringtown, where it rains every day and there's no Tano-maki...

Welcome back.
If you didn't go to Tsutenkaku, a shrine, a battleship museum, the Imperial Palace, Tokyo tower, and didn't buy a Hinomaru flag and a daruma doll as a souvineir, you have wasted your trip.

Did see the Tsutenkaku (Aka the Hitachi tower), more shrines than I can count, the war memorial museum in Tokyo, the Imperial Palace, and the Tokyo Tower. I didn't buy a hinomaru flag, but I have one from WWII. I didn't buy a daruma doll (cus I don't know the meaning behind it), but I bought a bunch of kokeshi dolls for my family.
Also saw/went to:
Osaka Castle
Nara Temple grounds (with the world's largest wooden building [see photobucket profile for pics])
Peace tower, park, and museum in Hiroshima
Museum and Memorial in Nagasaki
Tokugawa Shogun's palace in Kyoto
Golden Pavilion in Kyoto
Miyajima
DisneySea (water/coastal-themed park connected to DisneyWorld)
Akihabara, Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Roppongi, and Odaiba (all in Tokyo)
A sunrise from the summit of Mt. Fuji (where it was cold as f**k, btw)
The 1:1 MS Gundam statue in Shiokaze park
Baseball game with the Tokyo Giants vs. Yokohama Bay Stars
Did not see/go to (but wanted to):
Sumo match (expensive and difficult to get tickets, especially for foreigners)
Onsen (some of our group members had tattoos, which is a big no-no)
Capsule Hotel (never needed to find a place to sleep)
Maid Cafe (the "fun" maid cafes are difficult to experience without being fluent/have a friend who's fluent with you)

I went to Pennsylvania for two days.
I passed my swim test, and got a few ranks in archery. Ate some burgers too.
Then my grandpa died and I had to come home. Funeral's tomorrow.

WHY DON'T I GET TO GO ANYWHERE INTERESTING D:<
(at least I get to go back to camp for six more weeks)

Because you have your whole life ahead of you, you wise fool. (lit translation of "sophomore")
Anyway, MAID CAFE? D:
Dammit, now I NEED to convince my mom to take me to Japan before we go to China this year.
