I believe the chapter 1 is to signify that we are entering the first 'chapter' of the story. So yeah. Have fun with that.

During a sub-plot, is it possible to use a different Navi with the same upgrades, etc? For example, my normal Navi is Shinokami. For whatever reason during the sub-plot, Shinokami is unavailable, and Marie's brother Matt steps in and uses Firewolf to go help/rescue/whatever Shinokami. Firewolf would have the same HP, stats, chips, etc as Shinokami, but his Element, Type and Sigs would be different. Would that be okay?
I'm thinking abotu possibly doing somthing similer plotwise, and would like an answer as well.

Yo! This is really a question for the SigEffect Gurus, but here goes. I know that Burst and Empower can only be used on "Active" Attacks, meaning attacks that you have to spend a turn to use. However, what if you had an Active SigAttk that incorporated several Buster Attacks? Would the empower bonus be granted to each buster hit? Would it be granted to the total DMG?
Ex: NaviMan.Exe uses Gratuitous Gattling Gun to fire 6 buster shots with one action. If NaviMan had the Empower Effect from his Banal Boost SigAttk, would his gattling dmg be (AttkxRapidX2 + Empower) x6? Or (AttkxRapidx2) x6 + Empower? Or would the empower bonus be negated altogether?

What exactly are the different "chapters" going to be like? I mean, besides the chapter number changing, what defines the start and end of a chapter?

Question about Rush/Beat/Tango Support:
Hello I was just looking at the different upgrades available, and was wondering what the Rush/Beat/Tango support chips do. I mean, I know generally what they do in various Megaman games, but I'm wondering what they would do in this RP. For example, would Rush support involve rp-ing a "trap" any way I wanted to, or is there a specific way this board imagines it to work? Or for Beat, would I do Beat in one action and then wait for someone to post back to tell me what skills I stole before employing them in the next turn?
Is there a post that describes what all the different chips do?

Do Crosses somehow take on a different appearance when in a .GMO. Like say Red was in Badass_Hottie.GMO and went PianissimoCross, is that technically a .GMO Override and the navi goes back to their normal appearance in Cross mode, or can we use the .GMO's to alter the Cross Appearance as well?

I think it was determined earlier that a cross is a separate override that contains its own graphic component, which must be based on the original graphic components or else people could have crosses that looked like a .GMO of the person they crossed with.
Personally, though, if they were registered with the cross/.GMO I don't see why simply stating minor changes that came from it in the cross mode would be a problem. But it's not really my place to say, considering I don't really know how it works.

I'm pretty sure the Cross disengages the .GMO to make the graphic changes. Or at least, that's my view.

If I recall, this question was asked on the old site, and I beleive the answer was indeed that the GMO did disengage since the Cross was formated to only work with the origional apearance files, or some other techno-bable like that.
