Rampaging about

With more viruses incoming, and no sign of any helpful rescue yet, Asymptote was left to deal with more denizens of this viral nest he'd tumbled into. As they came at him from the darkness, the two catacks lobbed explosives in his direction, beginning to peel out to the sides in either direction, but the tactically-minded hulk navi moved to compensate, and acted to quickly blast the line before they could fan out properly. The explosive shells failed to connect, but as Asymptote prepared to zap them, the ufo swung down in a swift effort to steal the data from him. Asymptote was ready for this, however, and jumped back, avoiding the data beam and landing in just the right point to catch the suddenly vulnerable spacecraft in his line a well. The grinner closed its face and sealed up tight just as the blistering lightning bolt shot through the assembled viruses, toasting all but the metal-plated one.

Debuffed to ineffectiveness, the Grinner was mostly concerned with keeping its impervious body sealed up until abetter moment came along, but that wasn't going to save it from the navi's destructive beam fingers. In a matter of moments, the virus disintegrated, and Asymptote was left channelling an increasingly devastating cont of light and power before him.

From out of the darkness, more shapes emerged. It looked like progs at first; maybe the rescue team was finally here? A moment alter, however, he began to notice problems. All three of the progs were critically damaged, with wild expressions and missing limbs. They cracked and sparked as they rushed towards him, their remaining arms upraised or outstretched.

GrinnerGrinner (Grinner)

The Grinner virus possesses a body consisting of only one large solar panel, coated in colored metal with a design like a stoic, robotic face. The color of its body varies according to its strength. (yellow/orange/red/purple/blue/green/black). The virus attacks by opening its "mouth" to reveal its panel, then firing a beam of refracted light towards its enemies. When other solar panels are nearby, its attack will magnify additional light and become even more powerful. The Grinner moves very slowly, but is entirely invulnerable to attacks while its mouth is closed. It has been described jokingly as "the energy efficient Dominerd" due to the similarities between the viruses. The virus itself is electric, but its beam burns like fire, so wood navis need be wary.

ColorUFOs are able to temporarily steal chip data from their enemy, preventing the use of that battlechip until the end of the battle. ColorUFOs only attack once per turn, maximum, and spend the rest of the turn dodging. This attack is guaranteed to hit unless the target dodges when they attempt their attack, meaning it can be evaded with luck. The attack ignores every form of defence, including any form of stealth. ColorUFOs move and dodge at slightly better than average rates. They are capable of full flight. -=Turn 3!=-
Finishing his murder of the Grinner, the navi left his arms down, he could faintly feel the gundelsol data within himself, but he would let it go before long, letting out a sigh. He should be almost ready to get out of here...and then come the progs...of course there are viral programs, why wouldn't there be? Cracking his neck as he began to run his calculations, generator charging as his eyes began to take on a blue hue, his world bathed in calculations, equations and a healthy dose of caffeinated energy as his body began to overclock, upgrade and run calculations at a higher speed than ever before. His first thought was to evade getting between the programs, winding the muscles in his legs up, crouching briefly, Asymptote began to rush forward, arms pumping along his sides as he sprinted, stomping along the way to get to a better tactical position before the infected programs could encroach upon his territory.

Quickly, Asymptote rambled off a bevy of chips for his operator to slot into the PET for his use. A bomb, a weapon of corn and an ever useful high powered cannon to chip away the viruses so he could escape in a few moments. Quickly accessing his newly slotted in weaponry, Asymptote was quick to produce a small firearm, a rundown, rusted model of single-shot pistol began to curve around his hand as he summoned the data from the chip. His eyes quick to keep up the calculations, lines and data being fed into his every sense, lines and graphs helping to aim his weapon for desired effect, Asymptote looked down the sights of his rutted and worn out pistol, lining up his shot towards one of the progs and pulling the trigger. A kernel of corn firing out almost immediately upon the trigger squeeze with a satisfying "FOOMP" sound like a grenade launcher, Asymptote's weaponized kernel of corn flew through the air rapidly before exploding upon whatever it may have hit, be it virus or floor, he was hoping the former rather than the latter. Upon its impact, a bright explosion would rocket through the darkened tunnels beneath the main intersection, through the explosion another shot fired out, spit from the explosion a second would ring out shortly after the first, hopefully upon a virus as Aymptote would have hopefully predicted it would land, but he couldn't fully control it sadly.

Quick to move again, Asymptote would make a slight, if swift movement around the left in a slightly semicircle way to help him lineup his next shot before long, hoping that this movement would be enough to trick a virus into missing his body and waste their time, despite all the stomping around he did. Soon he summoned another weapon, far larger and bulkier, the weapon more than a little identical to a Cannodumb head, but otherwise a weapon in his hands, Asymptote popped up a sight upon the top of the Cannodumb head and turned himself towards the virus he had in his sights. Asymptote clicking a hidden trigger beneath the weapon, the weapon revving up loudly in front of him, gears turning on the outside as it shot a bright burst of energy towards the virus, en explosion soon to follow upon impact with whatever it hit, Asymptote tossing the weaponized Cannodumb aside right afterwards.

Feeling his body...almost naked just in case it wasn't obvious enough he was worried about his own safety, Asymptote's cables began to slowly writhe and lengthen themselves, unfurling from his almost limitless generator, his body beginning to slowly become encased in a second layer of defense, just in case something breaks (or has already broken) through his barrier. The navi's coils melting along his body, his form encased with a protective outer layer of rubber and metal, an impact protector being installed as he finished his outer layer of protection, guaranteeing himself an extra heal once it was hit. Right after, Asymptote produced a bomb of dubious origin, knives and nails embedded in the spherical explosive as he waited for movement to make itself apparent in the dank caverns, if any of those progs had survived his onslaught, they would soon get a quick thrown explosive in the face along with his tremendous bulk behind it. But he was at least ready to escape at the first chance he got, he wanted to get deeper than he was and was ready to run from this back to back gauntlet of viral fights.

Asymptote quickly moved away from the small swarm of overly huggy progs, but one chased after him more quickly than the others. It lurched forward and flung its one remaining arm in an attempt to drape itself over the larger navi, but Asymptote managed to stay clear of it just well enough to avoid the sudden burst of electrical energy that exploded out from the program, accompanied by the acrid scent of fusing wires and further damage.

The other two followed more slowly, their limbs stretching out as increasing wells of electrical static began to course over them in a building glow. Like some lone survivor facing the zombie hordes, Asymptote began to fire his weapons. His first shot flattened on of the approaching progs, though the explosive ricochet didn't manage to connect with the one that had chased him. The nearby one attempted to hug him again, but Asymptote eluded it a second time, avoiding a second large burst of electrical static, then took his next shot at the other glowing on. It, too, went down with a crash and a pop, the sparks fading away as the prog broke down.

As he fended off the damaged programs, a ladder dropped down from above, roughly where Asymptote had first fallen in, along with the voice of the same maintenance navi calling down to him. Ready to be done with the place, Asymptote refreshed his protections, just in case, and delivered one last parting gift towards the remaining prog as he made for the ladder. The cracker bomb exploded behind him, clearing out the nest once and for all as the hulking navi was swiftly pulled back to safety.

Spoils: 1200z, 32 BugFrags
Grunting as he got himself back out of the hole he fell into, Asymptote was quick to thank the navi for pulling him out of the hole. Sighing contently, Asymptote would slowly make his way around the hole (and download any reward data he managed to get) and head off to his next, hopefully non-defensive, battle!

(Battle 3, Billy Bounty, 211 HP)
A few more apologies from the navi that had assisted him, and Asymptote found his way further into the network, seeking something to test himself on. After a few short minutes of searching, the one-time educator reached an area of the network that transitioned into an insulated flooring, forming a broad exclusion zone around a wide, thick glass lens that looked down to a multi-layered crystalline tower structure, graded away below.

The sounds of viral sniggers and chitters reached his ears as he arrived in the space. Off to his right, an Eleball was leaning on a set of discarded metal crates, with something that looked oddly like a smoke in its grinning teeth. It seemed to be wearing a singlet top around the core of its body, with “F*ck Teachers!” in messy print on it, and “(They give you better grades)” in smaller print underneath. It was also wearing a short pleated skirt. Its electric sparklers looked more like ragged pom-poms, and circled about it lazily. Beside it, a Billy lounged with an equal level of disdain. It was also wearing a torn short-sleeved T with “School Sucks!” printed across it in faux spray paint.

Further off, ahead of him, a pair of Megalian seemed to be vaguely playfully butting heads with each other, their faces set in expressions of 'totally playing it cool'. Each virus' base dangled a short crop shirt of its own; the printing on these two read “Class of Jock: Free-ride 4 life”. towards the back, on the glass lens, a Catack and a Beetank were pulling doughnuts around each other, leaving scuffs and scratches on the glass. It was hard to tell if nay of them noticed Asymptote at first – they might just be playing it cool.

Continuing to lumber his way through the networks in an attempt to find more quarry to eliminate, Asymptote...found himself upon a blood vessel popping sight. Of course the viruses would be delinquents...of course. Asymptote sighing inwardly to himself as he watched the viruses doing their thing, reading their shirts...it was damn near too much for the hulking monster to take in. In all his years he had never seen such things like this...but at the same time, these viruses needed punished in ways that navis and their owners SHOULDN'T by all laws of the land...and the geneva conventions, but that was a completely different story altogether at the end of this day. By all conventional thought, Asymptote should have stepped away, walked away from the viruses and let them go on their merry little ways and let them act as such...Asymptote didn't exactly HAVE that kind of conventional thought anymore to say the least.

Asymptote fidgeted a little as the brain busting thoughts flooded his mind. Each time he thought about moving away before he burst blood all over the viruses, a shot of adrenaline began to flood his senses. His brain conflicted, pulled multiple ways as the generator on his back slowly began to heat up, the cables on his back slapping against the ground like giant whips as he was soon forced into cementing his position of what to do with these viruses, as well as making the geneva conventions cry a little at the brutality that is about to ensue. Joseph noticed the fidgeting as Asymptote began to charge up his form, a low growl coming from the navi as he began to take great pains to detail his plan of attack, requested chips beginning to pop up on Joseph's PET screen as his eyes quickly took great lengths to lock upon the viruses in his vicinity. The Megalians being his biggest threat as he moved. His feet lighter than normal as the cables upon his back helped to propel him towards the Billy and Elecball to the side, getting him in range of a double delete. Ya wanna fuck teachers, huh? Asymptote asked, disdain dripping from his voice, eyes half lidded as his cables slammed the metal paneling beneath him, an electrical crackle and hiss coming from them as he reared back his body, THEN...FUCK...YOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUU! Asymptote roared out at the two viruses, cables launching forwards at the Elecball, sending the metal crates spiraling across the way as his hissing cables sent out bolts of lightning upon impact with something solid, volts discharged in such a way that the areas behind and to either side of the unfortunate recipient of Asymptote's ire charred to a blackened crisp, as well as anything around it.

Cables retracting back to Asymptote, the behemoth would grasp his cables, eyes darting about as he waited ever so briefly for a counter attack by the delinquent viruses. His legs immediately propelling him to the left, sending him flying through the air with a brief roll across the paneling as Asymptote took a brief moment to set up a defensive barrier. His tendrils crackling and sparking as he channeled energy across his body, bolts and nuts being charged with the same electrical energy that fills his generator on a day to day basis, his form letting out an excited quiver as a barrier erected itself across his body to shield it from harm, electrical tendrils connecting to Asymptote's body from the barrier and ready to send healing jolts across his body to soothe his wounds rapidly upon the first hit it would shield.

Turning his eyes to the Megalian viruses' and their extremely horrible shirts, he could only let out a laugh at the inaccuracy of their statements on the shirts. You idiots think being a JOCK gets you a free ride? He asked, venom dripping from his words as he took a step forward at the two floating viruses, summoning a small pistol-like weapon into his hand. Still gotta do your classwork. Still gotta finish your classes in good standing. Asymptote continued, a horrible looking grin upon his metallic face, squealing of metal on pistons and steam, eyes glaring at the two viruses as he took the pistol in hand, massive palm practically overtaking the small weapon's size. Now then. Here's a class assignment I want you two to work on together. Asymptote's voice continued on even further, venom ever more apparent than earlier, Asymptote taking aim, pinky finger resting just barely inside the trigger recess. Die. Screaming. Asymptote finished. Pulling the trigger on his weapon, arm outstretched, as a blast of energy flew through the air, cutting through the skies as it attempted to connect upon the virus he had aimed at, likely cutting through the virus' aura if it connected with the aura, sending a small amount of explosions through the air, a second shot ringing out from the impact of the explosions and attempting to do the same to the second virus.

Dropping the gun to the floor with a clatter, Asymptote turned to the other two viruses, head moving back and forth between the two tanks with a grin, eyes glaring at the two of them all the while as he began to beat his chest in a show of dominance against the two of them. NOW YOU FOOLS, WHO ELSE WANTS SOME FROM THIS!? YOU THINK TEACHING IS EASY?! I'VE BEEN TEACHING SINCE YOUR PROGRAMERS WERE IN FUCKING DIAPERS, I CAN GO ALL DAY ON TEACHING YOU FUCKERS THE MEANING OF WHY THE GENEVA CONVENTIONS WERE EVEN MADE IN THE FIRST PLACE! PISS YOURSELVES AND FLEE IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE THIS OR STAY AND DIE SCREAMING LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE THAT CROSSES MY PATH, YOUR CHOICE! Asymptote roared out in anger, vigor and disappointment of the viruses, cables sparking and hissing across the ground, panels scorched from his roaring anger against the group. hHis stomps nearly denting the panels as he began to move towards them, an aura of menace visible in the back of the virus' eyes as his red eyes began to gleem, a piercing, evil stare behind his serrated toothed grin, arms outstretched to either side of him. Death awaits ALL of you...should you stay and fight me.

6: INTIMIDATION TACTICS
As much as Asymptote's visceral reaction was foreseen by his operator, there was little to do besides offering chips and ducking for cover. The offended teacher moved first towards the nearby Billy and eleball, while the two circling tanks broke off to launch shells in his direction. The blasts struck the metal just behind him as he moved, but one did scorch his back slightly before he could get fully out of the way. It didn't matter. He was too busy battering the nearest two delinquents with electrified cables. The eleball tried to flee away from his wrath, electrical pom-poms spinning, but it wasn't enough to escape being singed to a crisp.

The two megalians seemed to stop bro-ing off at each other when this happened, and after a quick nod, they both fronted on Asymptote like they meant business. One hung back while the first launched its face at him, but Asymptote dodge away while he raised his protective barrier. At the back, the two tanks manoeuvred and fired again; both of their shells exploded around Asymptote, but all that happened was that his protectives took some damage and the teacher healed up more than he'd been hurt so far.

Disregarding the delinquent drivers for now, Asymptote turned his attention to the jock-squad and blasted them with a shot perfectly designed to eliminate the pair. The one that had attacked him first got annihilated, but the second one swung around, dodging the ricochet that came its way. Asymptote had more choice words to add to his full contact lecture, chewing out the remaining viruses with vitriol.

The remaining megalian didn't seem intimidated, and it moved up to him, bobbing and weaving in place and getting right up in his grill, almost as if to tell him to com on, bro, if he thought he was hard enough. It finished this posturing by launching its face again, and missing the hulked up educator spectacularly.

Unseen by the fronting megalian, the two tanks at the back, being the only viruses that had actually managed to land any hits on Asymptote, and quite visibly seeing how little effect this had actually had on the enraged navi, seemed to shudder slightly at his censure. Brief glances were exchanges and mutterings of quiet viral chatter, before both tanks turned in place and began to trundle away from the scene of carnage. The Megalian, thinking it had plenty of back-p, didn't seem to notice this.

Asymptote stood there, unflinching after having been hit across his murderous and ever so blood-lust fueled rants at the viruses. The two in the back found the brain power to run away, as he could see in the corner of his eyes that they had begun retreating...smart...they had more than two braincells to rub together between the two of them, and he was happy...or at least, relieved, they would run from his roaring rampage...the MEGALIAN...on the other hand had the audacity to think it was going to survive this, after evading his cornshot's spread. "Nope, you had your chance..." Asymptote thought, standing tall, unflinching at the Megalian's inability to see what its partners in crime were doing. So that's your answer then? A shame, really. Asymptote spoke, the navi's body crackling with electricity all over again as a pair of chips seemingly made their way over to him. Welp. Lets put you down like any good dropout should be. He spoke again, almost disappointed, the venom faded away in his words...replaced with something else entirely...acceptance?

From the crackles of his electrical energy, Asymptote's bolts flared up, lightning flaring up around him as he created a pair of buzzsaw-like blades of energy around him, ready to connect with the Megalian as it stayed up in his face all the same. Kneeling down briefly, Asymptote would pull his arms into a fighting stance, fists clenched tightly enough the virus could see a pair of spiked knuckles slowly materializing between his fingers. Jagged points, broken away and rusted shaped metal would become visible across his fingers knuckles, a deep red rust intermixed with a deep onyx color across the interlinking metal joints as he closed his eyes briefly before opening the crimson hues up all over again.

NOW DIE! Imaginary Number Cruncher! Asymptote roared out, fists swiftly lashing against the virus' body. His fists attacking in all manner of directions, from above, below, to either side as he attempted to rip through the lone virus' form in such a way that the preceding trio of viruses deletions would look painless in comparison. His form quaking with every lashing he took against the virus' form, aura or not, moving or no, Asymptote's feet would stomp forward with every attempt to keep up with the flying virus' attempts to evade or elude him. His fists a flurry of blows from above, below and all around the heady's form, as all the while the buzzsaws that floated around him lashed out with every punch he made, even as sweat and blood flowed all about Asymptote's body...with a final, crushing blow using both hands to attempt to crush the virus' body beneath his heel, both hands like a godhammer as the net quaked around the impact beneath his fingers.

Oblivious to the fact that its friends were rapidly abandoning it, the jock-shirt-wearing Megalian continued to pose and body-bully Asymptote. The teacher was having none of it and, after a moment to compose himself, proceed to punch the offending virus into a data-fragment paste in a storm of fists that could not be escaped from.

Once the haze dropped, the other viruses had long since cleared out, leaving the navi to clean up whatever spoils remained of upon the scene of carnage.
